Isaiah 43
1 But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.
Apan karon mao kini ang giingon ni Yahweh, siya nga nagbuhat kanimo, Jacob, ug siya nga naghulma kanimo, Israel: “Ayaw kahadlok, tungod kay gilukat ko na ikaw; gitawag ko ikaw pinaagi sa imong ngalan, gipanag-iya ko na ikaw.
2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
Sa dihang moagi ka sa tubig, magauban ako kanimo; ug bisan molatas ka sa kasapaan, dili kini makalumos kanimo. Sa dihang molakaw ka sa kalayo dili ka masunog, ug ang kalayo dili makalaglag kanimo.
3 For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Cush and Seba for thee.
Tungod kay ako si Yahweh ang imong Dios, ang Labing Balaan sa Israel, ang imong Manluluwas. Ihatag ko ang Ehipto ingon nga lukat kanimo, ug ang Etopia ug Seba maoy baylo kanimo.
4 Since thou hast been precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.
Tungod kay bililhon ka ug pinasahi sa akong panan-aw, gihigugma ko ikaw; busa ihatag ko ang katawhan ingon nga baylo alang kanimo, ug ang ubang katawhan ingon nga baylo sa imong kinabuhi.
5 Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;
Ayaw kahadlok, kay magauban ako kanimo; dad-on ko ang imong mga anak gikan sa sidlakan, ug tapukon ko ang imong gingsakpan gikan sa kasadpan.
6 I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;
Ingnon ko ang amihan, 'Himoa silang gawasnon;' ug ang anaa sa habagatan, 'Ayaw pagdala ug bisan unsa;' dad-a ang akong mga anak nga lalaki gikan sa layo, ug ang akong mga anak nga babaye gikan sa hilit nga mga dapit sa kalibotan,
7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; verily, I have made him.
ang tanan nga akong gitawag pinaagi sa akong ngalan, nga akong gibuhat alang sa akong himaya, oo, akong mga hinimo.
8 Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears.
Dad-a ang mga tawong buta, bisan tuod ug makakita sila, ug ang bungol bisan tuod ug makadungog sila.
9 Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and show us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth.
Magtigom ang mga kanasoran, ug magtapok usab ang katawhan. Kinsa man kanila ang nakapahayag niini ug nagsulti sa bag-o palang nahitabo nga mga butang? Padad-a silag saksi aron makapamatuod nga sila husto, papaminawa sila ug paingna, “Tinuod kini.'
10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
Kamo ang akong mga saksi,” nag-ingon si Yahweh, “ug ang akong sulugoon nga akong gipili, aron nga masayod kamo ug motuo kanako, ug makasabot nga ako mao siya. Walay laing dios gawas kanako, ug wala nay mosunod kanako.
11 I, even I, am the LORD; and besides me there is no saviour.
Ako, ako si Yahweh, ug wala nay laing manluluwas gawas kanako.
12 I have declared, and have saved, and I have shown, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God.
Ako nagpahayag, nagluwas, ug misugilon, ug wala nay laing dios taliwala kaninyo. Kamo ang akong mga saksi,” nag-ingon si Yahweh, Ako ang Dios.
13 Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall hinder it?
Gikan karong adlawa Ako mao siya, ug wala nay makaluwas kang bisan kinsa gikan sa akong kamot. Mamuhat ako ug kinsay makapugong niini?”
14 Thus saith the LORD, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships.
Mao kini ang gipamulong ni Yahweh, ang imong Manlulukat, ang Labing Balaan sa Israel: “Tungod ug alang kanimo ipasulong ko ang Babilonia ug ihatod silang tanan nga mapukan ingon nga mga binihag, ilisan ko ang kalipay nga gibati sa mga taga-Babilonia ngadto sa mga pag-awit sa pagbangotan.
15 I am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King.
Ako si Yahweh, ang inyong Labing Balaan, ang Nagbuhat sa Israel, ang inyong Hari.”
16 Thus saith the LORD, who maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;
Mao kini ang giingon ni Yahweh (nga nag-abri sa dalan sa dagat ug agianan sa halapad nga katubigan,
17 Who bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as a wick.
nga maoy naggiya sa karwahe ug kabayo, sa mga kasundalohan ug sa labawng makagagahom. Nangatumba silang tanan; ug dili na gayod makabarog pag-usab; napalong sila, gipalong sila sama sa pabilo nga nagsiga.)
18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
“Ayaw na hunahunaa ang mga butang nga nangagi, ni hinumdoman ang mga butang nga nilabay na.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
Tan-awa, magahimo ako ug bag-ong mga butang; ug karon nagapanghitabo na kini; wala ba ninyo kini nabantayan? Butangan ko ug mga sapa ang disyerto ug patubigan ko ang mga kamingawan.
20 The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.
Ang mga ihalas nga mga mananap sa kaumahan moyukbo kanako, apil ang mga ihalas nga iro ug ang mga ostrits, tungod kay gipatubigan ko man ang kamingawan, ug gipasubaan ang mga disyerto, aron mainom sa akong piniling katawhan,
21 This people have I formed for myself; they shall show forth my praise.
kining katawhan nga akong gihulma sama sa akong kaugalingon, aron nga modayeg sila kanako.
22 But thou hast not called upon me, O Jacob; but thou hast been weary of me, O Israel.
Apan wala ka misangpit kanako, Jacob; gikapuyan kamo kanako, Israel.
23 Thou hast not brought me the small cattle of thy burnt offerings; neither hast thou honoured me with thy sacrifices. I have not caused thee to serve with an offering, nor wearied thee with incense.
Wala kamo midala kanako sa inyong mga karnero ingon nga halad sinunog, o nagpasidungog kanako pinaagi sa inyong mga halad. Wala ko kamo gipabug-atan sa mga trigo nga ihalad, ni sa pagpadala kaninyo ug halad incenso.
24 Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast burdened me with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thy iniquities.
Wala kamo magdala kanako ug humot nga tubo uban sa salapi, ni mibubo nganhi kanako sa tambok ninyo nga halad; apan gipabug-atan ninyo ako sa inyong mga sala, gipakapuy ninyo ako sa daotan ninyong mga buhat.
25 I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for my own sake, and will not remember thy sins.
Ako, Oo, ako, ang nagpapas sa inyong mga kasal-anan alang sa akong kagahom; ug dili ko na hinumdumi ang inyong mga sala.
26 Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.
Pahinumdomi ako unsay nahitabo. Maghusay kita; ipasaka ang imong sumbong, aron nga mapamatuod nga ikaw walay sala.
27 Thy first father hath sinned, and thy teachers have transgressed against me.
Ang inyong katigulangan, ug ang inyong mga pangulo misupak batok kanako.
28 Therefore I have profaned the princes of the sanctuary, and have given Jacob to the curse, and Israel to reproaches.
Busa dili ko putlion ang balaang mga pangulo; gitugyan ko si Jacob sa hingpit nga pagkaguba, ug ang Israel sa labihang kaulawan.”
