Isaiah 27
1 In that day the LORD with his fierce and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.
১সেই দিন সদাপ্রভু নিজের নিদারুন, বিশাল ও সতেজ তরোয়াল দিয়ে পালিয়ে যাওয়া সাপ লিবিয়াথনকে, হ্যাঁ, ব্যাঁকা সাপ লিবিয়াথনকে প্রতিফল দেবেন এবং সমুদ্রের বিশাল জলের প্রাণী নষ্ট করবেন।
2 In that day sing ye to her, A vineyard of red wine.
২সেই দিন–এক আঙ্গুর ক্ষেত, তোমরা তার বিষয়ে গান কর।
3 I the LORD do keep it; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day.
৩আমি সদাপ্রভু তার রক্ষক, আমি নিমিষে নিমিষে তাতে জল সেচন করব; কিছুতে যেন তার ক্ষতি না করে তার জন্য দিন রাত তা রক্ষা করব।
4 Fury is not in me: who would set the briers and thorns against me in battle? I would go through them, I would burn them together.
৪আমার ক্রোধ নেই; আহা! কাঁটা ও কাঁটাঝোপগুলি যদি যুদ্ধে আমার বিরুদ্ধে হত! আমি সে সব আক্রমণ করে একেবারে পুড়িয়ে দিতাম।
5 Or let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me; and he shall make peace with me.
৫সে বরং আমার পরাক্রমের স্মরণ নিক, আমার সঙ্গে মিলন করুক, আমার সঙ্গে মিলনই করুক।
6 He shall cause them that descend from Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.
৬আগামী দিনের যাকোব মূল বাঁধবে, ইস্রায়েল মুকুলিত হবে ও আনন্দিত হবে এবং তারা পৃথিবীকে ফলে পরিপূর্ণ করবে।
7 Hath he smitten him, as he smote those that smote him? or is he slain according to the slaughter of them that are slain by him?
৭তিনি ইস্রায়েলের প্রহারকে যেমন প্রহার করেছেন, সেরকম কি তাকেও প্রহার করলেন? কিম্বা তার দ্বারা নিহত লোকদের হত্যার মত সে কি মারা গেল?
8 In measure, when it shooteth forth, thou wilt debate with it: he stayeth his rough wind in the day of the east wind.
৮তুমি অন্য জায়গায় যাওয়ার দিনের পরিমাণে ইস্রায়েলীদের সঙ্গে যুদ্ধের সাথে বিবাদ করলে; তিনি পূর্বের বায়ুর দিনের নিজে প্রবল বায়ু দ্বারা তাকে ঝেড়ে বাইরে করলেন।
9 By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this is all the fruit to take away his sin; when he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten asunder, the groves and images shall not stand up.
৯এই জন্য এটার দ্বারা যাকোবের অপরাধ মোচন হবে এবং এটা তার পাপ দূর করার সমস্ত ফল; সে চুনের ভাঙ্গা পাথরগুলির মত যজ্ঞবেদির সমস্ত পাথর ভাঙ্গবে, আশেরা মূর্ত্তি ও সূর্য্য প্রতিমা সব আর উঠবে না।
10 Yet the fortified city shall be desolate, and the habitation forsaken, and left like a wilderness: there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down, and consume its branches.
১০কারণ সূদৃঢ় শহর নির্জন, বাসভূমি মানুষহীন ও পরিত্যক্ত হয়েছে মরুপ্রান্তের মত; সেই জায়গায় গোবত্স চরবে ও শোবে এবং গাছের পাতা সব খাবে।
11 When its boughs are withered, they shall be broken off: the women come, and set them on fire: for it is a people of no understanding: therefore he that made them will not have mercy on them, and he that formed them will show them no favour.
১১সেখানকার ডালপালা শুকনো হলে ভাঙ্গা যাবে, স্ত্রীলোকেরা এসে তাতে আগুন দেবে। কারণ সেই জাতি নির্বোধ, সেই জন্য তার সৃষ্টিকর্ত্তা তার প্রতি দয়া করবেন না, তার গঠনকর্তা তার প্রতি কৃপা করবেন না।
12 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall gather from the channel of the river to the stream of Egypt, and ye shall be gathered one by one, O ye children of Israel.
১২সেই দিন সদাপ্রভু [ফরাৎ] নদীর স্রোত থেকে মিশরের স্রোত পর্যন্ত ফল পাড়বেন; এই ভাবে, হে ইস্রায়েল সন্তানরা, তোমাদেরকে একে একে সংগ্রহ করা যাবে।
13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come who were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the LORD on the holy mount at Jerusalem.
১৩আর সেই দিন এক বিশাল তূরী বাজবে; তাতে যারা অশূর দেশে নষ্ট ও মিশর দেশে তাড়িত হয়েছে, তারা আসবে এবং যিরুশালেমে পবিত্র পর্বতে সদাপ্রভুর কাছে নত করবে।
