Hosea 7

1 When I would have healed Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim was discovered, and the wickedness of Samaria: for they commit falsehood; and the thief cometh in, and the troop of robbers plunder outside.

ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಗುಣ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದಿರುವಾಗ ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮಿನ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಬಹಿರಂಗಪಡಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾರ್ಯದ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಪಡಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಅವರು ಸುಳ್ಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಕಳ್ಳನು ಒಳಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಳ್ಳರ ಗುಂಪು ಹೊರಗೆ ಸುಲಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ.

2 And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them on every side; they are before my face.

ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಅವರ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆಂದು ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೆನೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಈಗ ಅವರ ಪಾಪಗಳು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡಿವೆ. ಅವು ನನ್ನ ಮುಖದ ಮುಂದೆ ಇವೆ.

3 They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies.

“ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನದಿಂದ ಅರಸನನ್ನೂ, ಅವರ ಸುಳ್ಳಿನಿಂದ ರಾಜಕುಮಾರನನ್ನೂ ಸಂತೋಷ ಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.

4 They are all adulterers, as an oven heated by the baker, who ceaseth from raising after he hath kneaded the dough, until it is leavened.

ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರು ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರಿಗಳು, ರೊಟ್ಟಿಸುಡುವವನು ಬೆಂಕಿಹೊತ್ತಿಸಿ, ಉರಿಸುವ ಒಲೆಗೆ ಸಮಾನರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವನು ಹಿಟ್ಟು ನಾದಿದ ಮೇಲೆ, ಅದು ಹುಳಿಯಾಗುವ ತನಕ ಉರಿಸದೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಕೆಂಡಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಾನರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

5 In the day of our king the princes have made him sick with bottles of wine; he stretched out his hand with scorners.

ನಮ್ಮ ಅರಸನ ಹಬ್ಬದ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜಕುಮಾರರು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿದು ಮತ್ತರಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅವನು ಪರಿಹಾಸ್ಯಗಾರರ ಸಂಗಡ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಚಾಚುತ್ತಾನೆ.

6 For they have made ready their heart like an oven, while they lie in wait: their baker sleepeth all the night; in the morning it burneth as a flaming fire.

ಅವರು ಹೊಂಚುಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾಗ, ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಅವರು ಒಲೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರ ರೋಷಾಗ್ನಿಯು ರಾತ್ರಿಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೊತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡೇ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಅದು ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲಿಸುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಉರಿಯುತ್ತದೆ.

7 They are all hot as an oven, and have devoured their judges; all their kings are fallen: there is none among them that calleth to me.

ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಲೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಬಿಸಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿಬಿಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅವರ ಅರಸರೆಲ್ಲರು ಬಿದ್ದು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದರೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

8 Ephraim, he hath mixed himself among the people; Ephraim is a cake not turned.

“ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೆರೆಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮು ತಿರುವಿ ಹಾಕದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

9 Strangers have devoured his strength, and he knoweth it not: yea, gray hairs are here and there upon him, yet he knoweth not.

ವಿದೇಶಿಯರು ಅವನ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೀರಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ನರೆಕೂದಲು ಸಹ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದೆ. ಆದರೂ ಅವನು ತಿಳಿಯದೇ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ.

10 And the pride of Israel testifieth to his face: and they do not return to the LORD their God, nor seek him for all this.

ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಗರ್ವವು ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಕೊಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದರೂ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗದೆ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆತನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕದೇ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ.

11 Ephraim also is like a silly dove without heart: they call to Egypt, they go to Assyria.

“ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮು ಸಹ ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ಮೋಸಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾಗುವ ಪಾರಿವಾಳದ ಹಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಈಗ ಅವರು ಈಜಿಪ್ಟನ್ನು ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಈಗ ಅವರು ಅಸ್ಸೀರಿಯದ ಆಶ್ರಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ.

12 When they shall go, I will spread my net upon them; I will bring them down as the fowls of the heaven; I will chastise them, as their congregation hath heard.

ಅವರು ಹೋಗುವಾಗ, ನಾನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ಬಲೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಸುವೆನು. ಆಕಾಶದ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೆಳಗೆ ಇಳಿಸಿ, ಅವರು ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಸೇರುವುದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ, ನಾನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುತ್ತೇನೆ.

13 Woe to them! for they have fled from me: destruction to them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.

ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕಷ್ಟ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ನಾಶವಾಗಲಿ! ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ದ್ರೋಹ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿಮೋಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರೂ, ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಸುಳ್ಳು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

14 And they have not cried to me with their heart, when they wailed upon their beds: they assemble themselves for grain and wine, and they rebel against me.

ತಮ್ಮ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಗೋಳಾಡುವಾಗಲೂ, ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯದಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೂಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಧಾನ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ದೇವರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಾವು ಗಾಯಗೊಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ದೂರವಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.

15 Though I have bound and strengthened their arms, yet do they imagine mischief against me.

ನಾನು ಅವರ ತೋಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಿ ಬಲಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಆದರೂ ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಕೇಡು ಮಾಡಲು ಊಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

16 They return, but not to the most High: they are like a deceitful bow: their princes shall fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue: this shall be their derision in the land of Egypt.

ಅವರು ಮಹೋನ್ನತನಾದಾತನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ಮೋಸದ ಬಿಲ್ಲಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರ ನಾಯಕರು ನಾಲಿಗೆಯ ಹುಚ್ಚು ಕೂಗಾಟದಿಂದ, ಖಡ್ಗದಿಂದ ಬೀಳುವರು. ಇದೇ ಈಜಿಪ್ಟ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗಿರುವ ನಿಂದೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.
