< Ezekiel 7 >

1 Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
Awurade asɛm baa me nkyɛn se,
2 Also, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD to the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land.
“Onipa ba, eyi ne asɛm a Otumfo Awurade ka kyerɛ Israel asase no: “‘Awiei no! Awiei no adu asase no ntwea anan no so.
3 Now is the end come upon thee, and I will send my anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense upon thee all thy abominations.
Awiei no adu wɔ wo so, na mehwie mʼabufuwhyew agu wo so. Megyina wʼabrabɔ so abu wo atɛn na matua wo ka wɔ wo nneyɛe bɔne nyinaa ho.
4 And my eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense thy ways upon thee, and thy abominations shall be in the midst of thee: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
Merenhu wo mmɔbɔ na meremfa wo ho nkyɛ wo. Ampa ara metua wo ka wɔ wo suban ne nneyɛe bɔne a ɛwɔ wo mu no ho, na moahu sɛ mene Awurade.’
5 Thus saith the Lord GOD; An evil, an only evil, behold, is come.
“Sɛɛ na Otumfo Awurade se: “‘Atoyerɛnkyɛm! Atoyerɛnkyɛm a wontee da nam kwan so reba.
6 An end is come, the end is come: it watcheth for thee; behold, it is come.
Awiei no aba! Awiei no aba! Ama ne ho so atia wo. Aba!
7 The morning is come upon thee, O thou that dwellest in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble is near, and not the joyful shouting upon the mountains.
Ɔsɛe aba mo so, aba mo a mote asase no so no so. Bere no adu, da no abɛn; huboabɔ a ɛnyɛ mmepɔw so ahosɛpɛw.
8 Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon thee, and accomplish my anger upon thee: and I will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense thee for all thy abominations.
Merebehwie mʼabufuwhyew agu wo so de awie mʼabufuw a etia wo no. Megyina wo nneyɛe so abu wo atɛn, na matua wo nneyɛe bɔne nyinaa so ka.
9 And my eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee according to thy ways and thy abominations that are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the LORD that smiteth.
Merenhu wo mmɔbɔ, na meremfa wo ho nkyɛ wo. Metua wo ka wɔ wo suban ne nneyɛe bɔne a ɛwɔ wo mu no ho. Afei mubehu sɛ me, Awurade, na mebobɔ mo.
10 Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone forth; the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded.
“‘Da no ni; hwɛ, aba! Atemmuda no apue, abaa no afefɛw, ahantan ahaahan!
11 Violence hath risen into a rod of wickedness: none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of any of theirs: neither shall there be wailing for them.
Kitikitiyɛ asɔre, abaa a wɔde twe amumɔyɛ aso. Ɛrenka nnipa no mu biara, dɔm no mu biara, ahonyade ne nea ɛsom bo biara renka.
12 The time is come, the day draweth near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath is upon all their multitude.
Bere no aso, da no adu. Mma adetɔni ani nnye anaa ɔdetɔnfo werɛ nhow, efisɛ abufuwhyew wɔ nnipadɔm no nyinaa so.
13 For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet alive: for the vision is concerning their whole multitude, who shall not return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.
Nea ɔtɔn no nsa renka asase a watɔn no bio wɔ bere a wɔn baanu te ase, efisɛ anisoadehu a ɛfa nnipadɔm no nyinaa ho no rensesa. Wɔn bɔne nti, wɔn mu baako koraa remfa ne ho nni.
14 They have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goeth to the battle: for my wrath is upon all their multitude.
“‘Wɔahyɛn akobɛn no, na wɔboaboa biribiara ano de, nanso obiara renkɔ ɔsa, efisɛ mʼabufuwhyew wɔ nnipakuw no nyinaa so.
15 The sword is without, and the pestilence and the famine within: he that is in the field shall die with the sword; and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.
Afoa wɔ mfikyiri na ɔyaredɔm ne ɔkɔm wɔ fie; wɔn a wɔwɔ ɔman no mu bɛtotɔ wɔ afoa ano. Wɔn a wɔwɔ kuropɔn no mu no, ɔyaredɔm ne ɔkɔm bekum wɔn.
16 But they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity.
Wɔn a wɔanya wɔn ti adidi mu na wɔaguan no bɛtena mmepɔw no so. Na wɔakurum te sɛ aku mu mmorɔnoma, wɔn mu biara bɔne nti.
17 All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water.
Nsa nyinaa bedwudwo na nkotodwe nyinaa ayɛ mmrɛw sɛ nsu.
18 They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads.
Wobefurafura atweaatam na wɔabɔ huboa. Aniwu bɛkata wɔn anim na wɔayi wɔn tinwi.
19 They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their stomachs: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.
“‘Wɔbɛtow wɔn dwetɛ agu mmɔnten so, na wɔn sikakɔkɔɔ bɛyɛ ade a ɛho ntew. Wɔn dwetɛ ne sikakɔkɔɔ rentumi nnye wɔn Awurade abufuwhyew da no. Ɛrenkum wɔn kɔm na ɛrenhyɛ wɔn yafunu ma, efisɛ ayɛ wɔn hintidua de wɔn akɔ bɔne mu.
20 As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty: but they made the images of their abominations and of their detestable things in it: therefore have I set it far from them.
Na wɔde wɔn nnwinne afɛfɛ no hoahoa wɔn ho, na wɔde yeyɛɛ wɔn ahoni a ɛyɛ akyiwade ne nsɛsode tantan. Enti mɛdan eyinom nneɛma a ho ntew no ama wɔn.
21 And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall pollute it.
Mede ne nyinaa bɛma ananafo sɛ asade na mede ama asase so atirimɔdenfo sɛ akorɔnne, na wobegu ho fi.
22 My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: for the robbers shall enter into it, and defile it.
Meyi mʼani afi wɔn so na wobegu beae a ɛsom me bo no ho fi. Akorɔmfo bewura hɔ na wɔagu ho fi.
23 Make a chain: for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence.
“‘Monyɛ nkɔnsɔnkɔnsɔn, efisɛ mogyahwiegu ayɛ asase no so ma, na akakabensɛm ahyɛ kuropɔn no ma.
24 Therefore I will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be defiled.
Mɛma aman no mu otirimɔdenfo pa ara abɛfa wɔn afi; mɛma ɔhoɔdenfo ahomaso aba awiei, na wɔn kronkrommea ho begu fi.
25 Destruction cometh; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none.
Sɛ ehu ba a, wɔbɛhwehwɛ asomdwoe akyi kwan nanso ɛbɛbɔ wɔn.
26 Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumour shall be upon rumour; then shall they seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the elders.
Atoyerɛnkyɛm bedi atoyerɛnkyɛm akyi aba; huhuhuhu bedi huhuhuhu akyi. Wɔbɛpɛ sɛ wobenya anisoadehu afi odiyifo no hɔ, asɔfo no nkyerɛkyerɛ a ɛfa mmara no ho no bɛbɔ wɔn, saa ara na wɔrennya afotu mfi mpanyimfo hɔ.
27 The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do to them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
Ɔhene no betwa adwo, ɔheneba no befura abawpa, na asase no so nnipa nsa bɛpopo. Me ne wɔn bedi no sɛnea wɔn nneyɛe te na megyina wɔn tebea so abu wɔn atɛn. Afei wobehu sɛ me ne Awurade no.’”
