Ezekiel 4
1 Thou also, son of man, take thee a tile, and lay it before thee, and portray upon it the city, even Jerusalem:
੧ਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਤੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਇੱਟ ਲੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਰੱਖ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ, ਹਾਂ, ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੀ ਤਸਵੀਰ ਬਣਾ।
2 And lay siege against it, and build a fort against it, and cast a mound against it; set the camp also against it, and set battering rams against it on every side.
੨ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਘੇਰਾ ਪਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਗੜ੍ਹ ਬਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਘੇਰਾ ਬੰਦੀ ਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਕਰ, ਅਤੇ ਚਾਰੋਂ ਪਾਸੇ ਕਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਤੋੜਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਰੱਖ।
3 Moreover take thou to thee an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between thee and the city: and set thy face against it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.
੩ਫਿਰ ਤੂੰ ਲੋਹੇ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਤਵਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਗੱਡ। ਉਹ ਲੋਹੇ ਦੀ ਕੰਧ ਬਣ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵੱਲ ਕਰ। ਉਹ ਘੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਇਆ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਘੇਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੋਵੇਂਗਾ। ਇਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਲਈ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਹੈ।
4 Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquity.
੪ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਖੱਬੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਲੇਟ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਦਾ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਆਪਣੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਲੈ। ਜਿੰਨੇ ਦਿਨ ਤੱਕ ਤੂੰ ਲੇਟਿਆ ਰਹੇਂਗਾ, ਤੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਾਪ ਆਪਣੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਝੱਲੇਂਗਾ।
5 For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.
੫ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਦਿਨ ਠਹਿਰਾਏ ਹਨ, ਇੱਕ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ, ਜੋ ਤਿੰਨ ਸੌ ਨੱਬੇ ਦਿਨ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਦਾ ਪਾਪ ਝੱਲੇਂਗਾ।
6 And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year.
੬ਜਦ ਤੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰ ਲਵੇਂ, ਤਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਵੱਲ ਲੇਟ ਜਾਵੀਂ ਅਤੇ ਚਾਲ੍ਹੀ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਦੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਝੱਲੀਂ। ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ-ਇੱਕ ਸਾਲ ਬਦਲੇ ਇੱਕ-ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
7 Therefore thou shalt set thy face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and thy arm shall be uncovered, and thou shalt prophesy against it.
੭ਫਿਰ ਤੂੰ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਘੇਰੇ ਵੱਲ ਮੂੰਹ ਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਾਂਹ ਨੰਗੀ ਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਭਵਿੱਖਬਾਣੀ ਕਰ
8 And, behold, I will lay cords upon thee, and thou shalt not turn thee from one side to another, till thou hast ended the days of thy siege.
੮ਅਤੇ ਵੇਖ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੰਧਨ ਪਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਪਾਸਾ ਨਾ ਪਰਤ ਸਕੇਂ, ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਘੇਰੇ ਦੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਨਾ ਕਰ ਲਵੇਂ।
9 Take thou also to thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and spelt, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread of them, according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, three hundred and ninety days shalt thou eat of it.
੯ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਕਣਕ, ਜੌਂ, ਫਲੀਆਂ, ਦਾਲ, ਚੀਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਜਰਾ ਲੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਭਾਂਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਐਨੀਆਂ ਰੋਟੀਆਂ ਪਕਾ ਜਿੰਨੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਤੂੰ ਪਾਸੇ ਪਰਨੇ ਲੇਟਿਆ ਰਹੇਂਗਾ, ਤੂੰ ਤਿੰਨ ਸੌ ਨੱਬੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਵੀਂ।
10 And thy food which thou shalt eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time shalt thou eat it.
੧੦ਤੇਰਾ ਖਾਣਾ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਖਾਵੇਂਗਾ ਤੋਲ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਪਾਉ ਪੱਕਾ ਰੋਜ਼ ਦਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਤੂੰ ਕਦੇ-ਕਦੇ ਖਾਈਂ।
11 Thou shalt drink also water by measure, the sixth part of an hin: from time to time shalt thou drink.
੧੧ਤੂੰ ਪਾਣੀ ਵੀ ਮਿਣ ਕੇ ਇੱਕ ਸੇਰ ਪੀਵੇਂਗਾ। ਤੂੰ ਕਦੇ-ਕਦੇ ਪੀਣਾ।
12 And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it with dung that cometh out of man, in their sight.
੧੨ਤੂੰ ਜੌਂ ਦੇ ਫੁਲਕੇ ਖਾਵੀਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਮਲ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਕਾਵੀਂ।
13 And the LORD said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, where I will drive them.
੧੩ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਆਪਣੀ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਰੋਟੀ ਖਾਇਆ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧੱਕਾਂਗਾ।
14 Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not been polluted: for from my youth even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither hath abominable flesh come into my mouth.
੧੪ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਆਖਿਆ, ਹਾਏ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ! ਵੇਖ, ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਕਦੇ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਈ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਜੁਆਨੀ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਇਆ। ਆਪਣੀ ਜਵਾਨੀ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਅੱਜ ਤੱਕ ਕੋਈ ਮਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਚੀਜ਼ ਮੈਂ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾਧੀ, ਜਿਹੜੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਮਰ ਜਾਵੇ ਜਾਂ ਪਾੜੀ ਗਈ ਹੋਵੇ। ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਮਾਸ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਿਆ।
15 Then he said to me, Lo, I have given thee cow’s dung for man’s dung, and thou shalt prepare thy bread with them.
੧੫ਤਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, ਵੇਖ, ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਮਲ ਦੇ ਥਾਂ ਗਾਂ ਦਾ ਗੋਹਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਕਾਵੀਂ।
16 Moreover he said to me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight, and with care; and they shall drink water by measure, and in horror:
੧੬ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਵੇਖ, ਮੈਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੋਟੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਧਨ ਤੋੜ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਰੋਟੀ ਤੋਲ ਕੇ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਖਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਵੀ ਦੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਣ-ਮਿਣ ਕੇ ਪੀਣਗੇ।
17 That they may lack bread and water, and be appalled one with another, and pine away for their iniquity.
੧੭ਇਹ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਥੁੜ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪੋ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਚਾਰ ਹੋਣ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿੱਸੇ ਪੈ ਜਾਣ।
