Exodus 40
1 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
Y Jehová habló a Moisés, diciendo:
2 On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
En el día del mes primero, el primero del mes harás levantar el tabernáculo, el tabernáculo del testimonio.
3 And thou shalt put in it the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark with the veil.
Y pondrás en él el arca del testimonio, y cubrirla has con el velo.
4 And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the lampstand, and light its lamps.
Y meterás la mesa, y ponerla has en orden: y meterás el candelero, y encenderás sus lámparas.
5 And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle.
Y pondrás el altar de oro para el perfume delante del arca del testimonio: y pondrás el pabellón de la puerta del tabernáculo.
6 And thou shalt set the altar of the burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
Después pondrás el altar del holocausto delante de la puerta del tabernáculo, del tabernáculo del testimonio.
7 And thou shalt set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and shalt put water in it.
Luego pondrás la fuente entre el tabernáculo del testimonio y el altar: y pondrás agua en ella.
8 And thou shalt set up the court all around, and hang up the hanging at the court gate.
Finalmente pondrás el patio al rededor, y el pabellón de la puerta del patio.
9 And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is in it, and shalt hallow it, and all its vessels: and it shall be holy.
Y tomarás el aceite de la unción, y ungirás el tabernáculo, y todo lo que estará en él, y santificarlo has con todos sus vasos, y será santo.
10 And thou shalt anoint the altar of the burnt offering, and all its vessels, and sanctify the altar: and it shall be an altar most holy.
Y ungirás también el altar del holocausto, y todos sus vasos: y santificarás el altar, y será el altar santidad de santidades.
11 And thou shalt anoint the laver and its foot, and sanctify it.
Asimismo ungirás la fuente y su basa, y santificarla has.
12 And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water.
Y harás llegar a Aarón y a sus hijos a la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio, y lavarlos has con agua.
13 And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister to me in the priest’s office.
Y harás vestir a Aarón las santas vestiduras, y ungirle has, y consagrarle has, para que sea mi sacerdote.
14 And thou shalt bring his sons, and clothe them with coats:
Después harás llegar sus hijos, y vestirles has las túnicas.
15 And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister to me in the priest’s office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.
Y ungirles has como ungiste a su padre, y serán mis sacerdotes: y será, que su unción les será por sacerdocio perpetuo por sus generaciones.
16 Thus did Moses: according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did he.
E hizo Moisés conforme a todo lo que Jehová le mandó: así lo hizo.
17 And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up.
Así en el mes primero, en el segundo año al primero del mes, el tabernáculo fue levantado.
18 And Moses reared up the tabernacle, and fastened its sockets, and set up its boards, and put in its bars, and reared up its pillars.
E hizo Moisés levantar el tabernáculo, y puso sus basas, y puso sus tablas, y puso sus barras, e hizo alzar sus columnas.
19 And he spread abroad the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above upon it; as the LORD commanded Moses.
Y tendió la tienda sobre el tabernáculo, y puso el cobertor sobre el tabernáculo encima, como Jehová había mandado a Moisés.
20 And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staffs on the ark, and put the mercy seat above upon the ark:
Y tomó, y puso el testimonio en el arca; y puso las barras sobre el arca: y la cubierta sobre el arca encima.
21 And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the veil of the covering, and covered the ark of the testimony; as the LORD commanded Moses.
Y metió el arca en el tabernáculo: y puso el velo de la tienda, y cubrió el arca del testimonio, como Jehová había mandado a Moisés.
22 And he put the table in the tent of the congregation, upon the side of the tabernacle northward, outside the veil.
Y puso la mesa en el tabernáculo del testimonio al lado del aquilón del pabellón fuera del velo.
23 And he set the bread in order upon it before the LORD; as the LORD had commanded Moses.
Y sobre ella puso por orden los panes delante de Jehová, como Jehová había mandado a Moisés.
24 And he put the lampstand in the tent of the congregation, opposite the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.
Y puso el candelero en el tabernáculo del testimonio en frente de la mesa, al lado del mediodía del pabellón.
25 And he lighted the lamps before the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.
Y encendió las lámparas delante de Jehová, como Jehová había mandado a Moisés.
26 And he put the golden altar in the tent of the congregation before the veil:
Puso también el altar de oro en el tabernáculo del testimonio, delante del velo.
27 And he burnt sweet incense on it; as the LORD commanded Moses.
Y encendió sobre él el perfume aromático, como Jehová había mandado a Moisés.
28 And he set up the hanging at the door of the tabernacle.
Puso asimismo el pabellón de la puerta del tabernáculo.
29 And he put the altar of burnt offering by the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meat offering; as the LORD commanded Moses.
Y puso el altar del holocausto a la puerta del tabernáculo, del tabernáculo del testimonio: y ofreció sobre el holocausto y presente, como Jehová había mandado a Moisés.
30 And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, to wash with.
Y puso la fuente entre el tabernáculo del testimonio y el altar: y puso en ella agua para lavar.
31 And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet from it:
Y lavaban en ella Moisés, y Aarón, y sus hijos sus manos y sus pies.
32 When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near to the altar, they washed; as the LORD commanded Moses.
Cuando entraban en el tabernáculo del testimonio, y cuando se llegaban al altar se lavaban, como Jehová había mandado a Moisés.
33 And he reared up the court all around the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished the work.
Finalmente levantó el patio en derredor del tabernáculo y del altar, y puso el pabellón de la puerta del patio: y así acabó Moisés la obra.
34 Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
Entonces una nube cubrió el tabernáculo del testimonio, y la gloria de Jehová hinchió el tabernáculo.
35 And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode on it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
Y no podía Moisés entrar en el tabernáculo del testimonio, porque la nube estaba sobre él, y la gloria de Jehová lo tenía lleno.
36 And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys:
Y cuando la nube se alzaba del tabernáculo, los hijos de Israel se movían en todas sus partidas.
37 But if the cloud was not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.
Y si la nube no se alzaba, no se partían, hasta el día que ella se alzaba.
38 For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.
Porque la nube de Jehová estaba de día sobre el tabernáculo, y el fuego estaba de noche en él, en ojos de toda la casa de Israel en todas sus partidas.
