Acts 19
1 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper regions came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,
ಅಪೊಲ್ಲೋಸನು ಕೊರಿಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಾಗಲೇ, ಕಾಲ್ನಡಿಗೆಯಾಗಿ ಪೌಲನು ಪ್ರಯಾಣಮಾಡಿ ಎಫೆಸ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದನು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವು ಶಿಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕಂಡು,
2 He said to them, Have ye received the Holy Spirit since ye believed? And they said to him, We have not so much as heard whether there is any Holy Spirit.
“ನೀವು ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವನ್ನಿಟ್ಟಾಗ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮರನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿರೋ?” ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರು, “ಇಲ್ಲ, ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ಇದ್ದಾರೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ನಾವು ಕೇಳಿಯೇ ಇಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದರು.
3 And he said to them, Into what then were ye baptized? And they said, Into John’s baptism.
“ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ನೀವು ಯಾವ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ?” ಎಂದು ಪೌಲನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವರು, “ಯೋಹಾನನ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನವನ್ನು,” ಎಂದರು.
4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying to the people, that they should believe on him who should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಪೌಲನು, “ಯೋಹಾನನ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನವು ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪದ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ತನ್ನ ನಂತರ ಬರಲಿರುವ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವನ್ನಿಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಯೋಹಾನನು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು,” ಎಂದನು.
5 When they heard this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.
ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ ನಂತರ ಅವರು ಕರ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡರು.
6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them; and they spoke with tongues, and prophesied.
ಪೌಲನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನಿಡಲು, ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ಬಂದರು. ಆಗ ಅವರು ಅನ್ಯಭಾಷೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸಿದರು.
7 And all the men were about twelve.
ಅವರು ಸುಮಾರು ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಜನ ಪುರುಷರಿದ್ದರು.
8 And he went into the synagogue, and spoke boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God.
ಪೌಲನು ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರದೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದನು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ತಿಂಗಳುಗಳ ಕಾಲ, ಧೈರ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಬೋಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅವರೊಡನೆ ಮನವೊಲಿಸುವಂತೆ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿದನು.
9 But when some were hardened, and believed not, but spoke evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus.
ಆದರೆ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ಕಠಿಣ ಹೃದಯದವರಾಗಿ; ಒಡಂಬಡದೆ ಈ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಬಹಿರಂಗವಾಗಿ ದೂಷಿಸಿದರು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಪೌಲನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು, ಶಿಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ತನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ, ಅನುದಿನವೂ ತುರನ್ನನ ತರ್ಕಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಚರ್ಚಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದನು.
10 And this continued for the space of two years; so that all they who dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.
ಇದು ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಮುಂದುವರಿಯಿತು. ಇದರಿಂದ ಏಷ್ಯಾ ಪ್ರಾಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರೂ ಗ್ರೀಕರೂ ಕರ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:
ದೇವರು ಪೌಲನ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಅಸಾಧಾರಣ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
12 So that from his body were brought to the sick, handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.
ಹೀಗೆ ಪೌಲನನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿದ ಕೈವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಉಡುಪುಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡುಹೋಗಿ ರೋಗಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮುಟ್ಟಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅವರು ರೋಗಗಳಿಂದ ವಾಸಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು ಹಾಗೂ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿಯ ದುರಾತ್ಮಗಳು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು.
13 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them who had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.
ಕೆಲವು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ದುರಾತ್ಮಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿ, “ಪೌಲನು ಸಾರುತ್ತಿರುವ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ,” ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಕರ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಬಳಸಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿದರು.
14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, who did so.
ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯ ಮುಖ್ಯಯಾಜಕ ಸ್ಕೇವ ಎಂಬುವನ ಏಳು ಜನ ಗಂಡು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಈ ರೀತಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?
ದುರಾತ್ಮವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ, “ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ನಾನು ಬಲ್ಲೆ, ಪೌಲನೂ ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತು, ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಯಾರು?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿ,
16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.
ದುರಾತ್ಮ ಪೀಡಿತ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾರಿಬಿದ್ದು, ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಬಲಗೊಂಡು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಡಿದು ಗಾಯಗೊಳಿಸಲು, ಅವರು ನಗ್ನರಾಗಿಯೇ ಮನೆಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೊರಗೆ ಓಡಿಹೋದರು.
17 And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.
ಎಫೆಸದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಿಗೂ ಗ್ರೀಕರಿಗೂ ಈ ವಿಷಯ ತಿಳಿದಾಗ, ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಬಹಳ ಭಯಗೊಂಡರು. ಹೀಗೆ ಕರ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಮಹಿಮೆಯಾಯಿತು.
18 And many that believed came, and confessed, and showed their deeds.
ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವಿಟ್ಟವರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅರಿಕೆಮಾಡಿದರು.
19 Many also of them who practised magic brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.
ಮಾಟಮಂತ್ರ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಗ್ರಂಥಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಎಲ್ಲರ ಮುಂದೆ ಸುಟ್ಟು ಹಾಕಿದರು. ಅವುಗಳ ಒಟ್ಟು ಮೌಲ್ಯ ಐವತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿನಾಣ್ಯಗಳಷ್ಟಾಯಿತು.
20 So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.
ಹೀಗೆ ಕರ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾಗಿ ಹರಡುತ್ತಾ ಪ್ರಬಲವಾಯಿತು.
21 After these things were ended, Paul purposed in the spirit, when he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem, saying, After I have been there, I must also see Rome.
ಇದೆಲ್ಲ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಮಕೆದೋನ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಅಖಾಯ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಲು ಪೌಲನು ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿದನು. ಅವನು, “ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋದ ನಂತರ ನಾನು ರೋಮ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಸಂದರ್ಶಿಸಬೇಕು,” ಎಂದನು.
22 So he sent into Macedonia two of them that ministered to him, Timothy and Erastus; but he himself stayed in Asia for a season.
ತನ್ನ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಸಹಾಯಕರಾದ ತಿಮೊಥೆ ಮತ್ತು ಎರಸ್ತನನ್ನು ಮಕೆದೋನ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ತಾನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪಕಾಲ ಏಷ್ಯಾ ಪ್ರಾಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದನು.
23 And the same time there arose no small stir about that way.
ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಮಾರ್ಗದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಗಲಭೆ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು.
24 For a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith, who made silver shrines for Diana, brought no small gain to the craftsmen;
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ದೇಮೇತ್ರಿಯ ಎಂಬ ಒಬ್ಬ ಅಕ್ಕಸಾಲಿಗನು ಅರ್ತೆಮೀ ದೇವಿಯ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ಮೂರ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಆ ಶಿಲ್ಪಿಗಳ ಹಣ ಸಂಪಾದನೆಗೆ ಬಹಳ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
25 Whom he called together with the workmen of like occupation, and said, Sirs, ye know that by this craft we have our wealth.
ಅವನು ಶಿಲ್ಪಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಆ ಕಸುಬಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಜನರೇ, ಈ ವೃತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ನಮಗೆ ಉತ್ತಮ ಆದಾಯ ಬರುತ್ತಿದೆಯೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದಿರುವಿರಿ.
26 Moreover ye see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded and turned away many people, saying that they are no gods, which are made with hands:
ಪೌಲನೆಂಬ ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಎಫೆಸದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇಡೀ ಏಷ್ಯಾ ಪ್ರಾಂತದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರನ್ನು ಮನವೊಲಿಸಿ, ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿದ ಮೂರ್ತಿಗಳು ದೇವರುಗಳಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಾರ್ಪಡಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ನೀವು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೀರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಂಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
27 So that not only this our craft is in danger to be set at nought; but also that the temple of the great goddess Diana should be despised, and her magnificence should be destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worshippeth.
ಇದರಿಂದ ಈಗ ನಮ್ಮ ವೃತ್ತಿಗೆ ಅಪಾಯ ಬಂದಿರುವುದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅರ್ತೆಮೀ ಮಹಾದೇವಿಯ ಗುಡಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆಯೂ ಯೋಚಿಸಬೇಕು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಏಷ್ಯಾದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇಡೀ ಜಗತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಪೂಜಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ದೇವಿಯ ಮಹತ್ವವು ಸಹ ಕುಂದಿಹೋಗುವಂತಿದೆ,” ಎಂದನು.
28 And when they heard these sayings, they were full of wrath, and cried out, saying, Great is Diana of the Ephesians.
ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಅವರು ಉಗ್ರರಾಗಿ, “ಎಫೆಸದ ಅರ್ತೆಮೀ ದೇವಿಯೇ ಮಹಾದೇವಿ!” ಎಂದು ಆರ್ಭಟಿಸಿದರು.
29 And the whole city was filled with confusion: and having caught Gaius and Aristarchus, men of Macedonia, Paul’s companions in travel, they rushed with one accord into the theatre.
ಕೂಡಲೇ ಇಡೀ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೋಲಾಹಲ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು. ಜನರು ಗುಂಪಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಮಕೆದೋನ್ಯದಿಂದ ಪೌಲನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಮಾಡಿ ಬಂದ, ಗಾಯ ಮತ್ತು ಅರಿಸ್ತಾರ್ಕರನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಿ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಂಗಣದೊಳಗೆ ಎಳೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದರು.
30 And when Paul would have entered in to the people, the disciples permitted him not.
ಪೌಲನು ಜನರೆದುರಿಗೆ ಬರಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದಾಗ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
31 And certain of the chief of Asia, who were his friends, sent to him, beseeching him that he would not venture himself into the theatre.
ಪೌಲನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಏಷ್ಯಾ ಸೀಮೆಯ ಕೆಲವು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೂ ಈ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಂಗಣದೊಳಗೆ ಹೋಗುವ ಸಾಹಸ ಮಾಡಬಾರದೆಂದು ವಿನಂತಿಸಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಂದೇಶ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು.
32 Some therefore cried one thing, and some another: for the assembly was confused; and the greater part knew not why they had come together.
ಜನಸಮೂಹ ಗಲಿಬಿಲಿಗೊಂಡಿತ್ತು. ಕೆಲವರು ಒಂದು ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿಯೂ ಇನ್ನು ಕೆಲವರು ಬೇರೊಂದು ವಿಧವಾಗಿಯೂ ಕೂಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಬಹು ಪಾಲು ಜನರಿಗೆ ತಾವೇಕೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇವೆಂಬುದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿರಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
33 And they drew Alexander out of the multitude, the Jews putting him forward. And Alexander beckoned with the hand, and would have made his defence to the people.
ಆದರೆ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಅಲೆಕ್ಸಾಂದ್ರ ಎಂಬುವನನ್ನು ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ತಳ್ಳಿದರು. ಜನಸಮೂಹದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಕೆಲವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿಷಯ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಆಗ ಅಲೆಕ್ಸಾಂದ್ರನು, ಜನರ ಎದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾದಿಸಲಿಕ್ಕಾಗುವಂತೆ ಕೈಸನ್ನೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
34 But when they knew that he was a Jew, all with one voice about the space of two hours cried out, Great is Diana of the Ephesians.
ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯನೆಂದು ಜನರು ತಿಳಿದಾಗ, “ಎಫೆಸದ ಅರ್ತೆಮೀ ದೇವಿ ಮಹಾದೇವಿ!” ಎಂದು ಒಕ್ಕೊರಲಿನಿಂದ ಎರಡು ತಾಸುಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಆರ್ಭಟಿಸುತ್ತಲೇ ಇದ್ದರು.
35 And when the townclerk had quieted the people, he said, Ye men of Ephesus, what man is there that knoweth not that the city of the Ephesians is a worshipper of the great goddess Diana, and of the image which fell down from Jupiter?
ನಗರದ ಗುಮಾಸ್ತ ಜನಸಮೂಹವನ್ನು ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರಿಸಿ, “ಎಫೆಸದ ಜನರೇ, ಮಹಾ ಅರ್ತೆಮೀ ದೇವಿಯ ಮಂದಿರ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಕಾಶದಿಂದ ಬಿದ್ದ ಆಕೆಯ ಮೂರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಎಫೆಸ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಕಾಪಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯದಿರುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಇದ್ದಾನೆಯೇ?
36 Seeing then that these things cannot be denied, ye ought to be quiet, and to do nothing rashly.
ಈ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಗಳೆಯುವಂತಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರಬೇಕು. ಅವಸರದಿಂದ ಏನನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಲು ಹೋಗಬಾರದು.
37 For ye have brought here these men, who are neither robbers of temples, nor yet blasphemers of your goddess.
ನೀವು ತಂದಿರುವ ಈ ಜನರು ನಮ್ಮ ಗುಡಿ ಕಳ್ಳರಲ್ಲ; ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವತೆಯ ದೂಷಕರೂ ಅಲ್ಲ.
38 Therefore if Demetrius, and the craftsmen who are with him, have a matter against any man, the law is open, and there are deputies: let them accuse one another.
ಹೀಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ದೇಮೇತ್ರಿಯನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಸಹ ಶಿಲ್ಪಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಯಾವುದೇ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಏನಾದರೂ ಆಪಾದನೆಗಳಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವರಿಗಾಗಿ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯಗಳು ತೆರೆದಿವೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರು ಇದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ದೂರುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಿ.
39 But if ye enquire any thing concerning other matters, it shall be determined in a lawful assembly.
ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಇದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಬೇರೆ ಏನನ್ನಾದರೂ ತರುವುದಾದರೆ ಅದು ಕಾನೂನುಬದ್ಧ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೀರ್ಮಾನವಾಗಬೇಕು.
40 For we are in danger to be called in question for this day’s uproar, there being no cause by which we may give an account of this riotous gathering.
ಈಗ ಇದ್ದ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದಿನ ಘಟನೆಯಿಂದ ನಾವು ದಂಗೆಯೆದ್ದಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂಬ ಅಪರಾಧ ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರುವ ಆಸ್ಪದವಿದೆ. ಈ ಗಲಭೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣವೇನೆಂದು ವಿವರಿಸಲು ನಮಗೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಇದು ಕಾರಣವಿಲ್ಲದೇ ಎದ್ದ ದಂಗೆ,” ಎಂದನು.

ಇದನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವನು ಜನಸಮೂಹವನ್ನು ಚದರಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
