Acts 14
1 And it came to pass in Iconium, that they went both together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spoke, that a great multitude both of the Jews and also of the Greeks believed.
ਤੌ ਦ੍ਵੌ ਜਨੌ ਯੁਗਪਦ੍ ਇਕਨਿਯਨਗਰਸ੍ਥਯਿਹੂਦੀਯਾਨਾਂ ਭਜਨਭਵਨੰ ਗਤ੍ਵਾ ਯਥਾ ਬਹਵੋ ਯਿਹੂਦੀਯਾ ਅਨ੍ਯਦੇਸ਼ੀਯਲੋਕਾਸ਼੍ਚ ਵ੍ਯਸ਼੍ਵਸਨ੍ ਤਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ੀਂ ਕਥਾਂ ਕਥਿਤਵਨ੍ਤੌ|
2 But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles, and made their minds evil affected against the brethren.
ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਾਸਹੀਨਾ ਯਿਹੂਦੀਯਾ ਅਨ੍ਯਦੇਸ਼ੀਯਲੋਕਾਨ੍ ਕੁਪ੍ਰਵ੍ਰੁʼੱਤਿੰ ਗ੍ਰਾਹਯਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ੍ਰੁʼਗਣੰ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਵੈਰੰ ਜਨਿਤਵਨ੍ਤਃ|
3 A long time therefore they abode speaking boldly in the Lord, who gave testimony to the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.
ਅਤਃ ਸ੍ਵਾਨੁਗ੍ਰਹਕਥਾਯਾਃ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣੰ ਦਤ੍ਵਾ ਤਯੋ ਰ੍ਹਸ੍ਤੈ ਰ੍ਬਹੁਲਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਣਮ੍ ਅਦ੍ਭੁਤਕਰ੍ੰਮ ਚ ਪ੍ਰਾਕਾਸ਼ਯਦ੍ ਯਃ ਪ੍ਰਭੁਸ੍ਤਸ੍ਯ ਕਥਾ ਅਕ੍ਸ਼਼ੋਭੇਨ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ੍ੱਯ ਤੌ ਤਤ੍ਰ ਬਹੁਦਿਨਾਨਿ ਸਮਵਾਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠੇਤਾਂ|
4 But the multitude of the city was divided: and part held with the Jews, and part with the apostles.
ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਕਿਯਨ੍ਤੋ ਲੋਕਾ ਯਿਹੂਦੀਯਾਨਾਂ ਸਪਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਃ ਕਿਯਨ੍ਤੋ ਲੋਕਾਃ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤਾਨਾਂ ਸਪਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾ ਜਾਤਾਃ, ਅਤੋ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਜਨਨਿਵਹਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਭਿੰਨਵਾਕ੍ਯਤ੍ਵਮ੍ ਅਭਵਤ੍|
5 And when there was an assault made both of the Gentiles, and also of the Jews with their rulers, to use them despitefully, and to stone them,
ਅਨ੍ਯਦੇਸ਼ੀਯਾ ਯਿਹੂਦੀਯਾਸ੍ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਮ੍ ਅਧਿਪਤਯਸ਼੍ਚ ਦੌਰਾਤ੍ਮ੍ਯੰ ਕੁਤ੍ਵਾ ਤੌ ਪ੍ਰਸ੍ਤਰੈਰਾਹਨ੍ਤੁਮ੍ ਉਦ੍ਯਤਾਃ|
6 Being aware of it, they fled to Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and to the surrounding region:
ਤੌ ਤਦ੍ਵਾਰ੍ੱਤਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪ੍ਯ ਪਲਾਯਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਲੁਕਾਯਨਿਯਾਦੇਸ਼ਸ੍ਯਾਨ੍ਤਰ੍ੱਵਰ੍ੱਤਿਲੁਸ੍ਤ੍ਰਾਦਰ੍ੱਬੋ
7 And there they preached the gospel.
ਤਤ੍ਸਮੀਪਸ੍ਥਦੇਸ਼ਞ੍ਚ ਗਤ੍ਵਾ ਤਤ੍ਰ ਸੁਸੰਵਾਦੰ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰਯਤਾਂ|
8 And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother’s womb, who had never walked:
ਤਤ੍ਰੋਭਯਪਾਦਯੋਸ਼੍ਚਲਨਸ਼ਕ੍ਤਿਹੀਨੋ ਜਨ੍ਮਾਰਭ੍ਯ ਖਞ੍ਜਃ ਕਦਾਪਿ ਗਮਨੰ ਨਾਕਰੋਤ੍ ਏਤਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ ਏਕੋ ਮਾਨੁਸ਼਼ੋ ਲੁਸ੍ਤ੍ਰਾਨਗਰ ਉਪਵਿਸ਼੍ਯ ਪੌਲਸ੍ਯ ਕਥਾਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੁਤਵਾਨ੍|
9 The same heard Paul speak: who steadfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,
ਏਤਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਸਮਯੇ ਪੌਲਸ੍ਤਮ੍ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟਿੰ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਸ੍ਵਾਸ੍ਥ੍ਯੇ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਾਸੰ ਵਿਦਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਪ੍ਰੋੱਚੈਃ ਕਥਿਤਵਾਨ੍
10 Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.
ਪਦ੍ਭ੍ਯਾਮੁੱਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਨ੍ ਰੁʼਜੁ ਰ੍ਭਵ| ਤਤਃ ਸ ਉੱਲਮ੍ਫੰ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾ ਗਮਨਾਗਮਨੇ ਕੁਤਵਾਨ੍|
11 And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods have come down to us in the likeness of men.
ਤਦਾ ਲੋਕਾਃ ਪੌਲਸ੍ਯ ਤਤ੍ ਕਾਰ੍ੱਯੰ ਵਿਲੋਕ੍ਯ ਲੁਕਾਯਨੀਯਭਾਸ਼਼ਯਾ ਪ੍ਰੋੱਚੈਃ ਕਥਾਮੇਤਾਂ ਕਥਿਤਵਨ੍ਤਃ, ਦੇਵਾ ਮਨੁਸ਼਼੍ਯਰੂਪੰ ਧ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾਸ੍ਮਾਕੰ ਸਮੀਪਮ੍ ਅਵਾਰੋਹਨ੍|
12 And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercury, because he was the chief speaker.
ਤੇ ਬਰ੍ਣੱਬਾਂ ਯੂਪਿਤਰਮ੍ ਅਵਦਨ੍ ਪੌਲਸ਼੍ਚ ਮੁਖ੍ਯੋ ਵਕ੍ਤਾ ਤਸ੍ਮਾਤ੍ ਤੰ ਮਰ੍ਕੁਰਿਯਮ੍ ਅਵਦਨ੍|
13 Then the priest of Jupiter, who was before their city, brought oxen and garlands to the gates, and would have done sacrifice with the people.
ਤਸ੍ਯ ਨਗਰਸ੍ਯ ਸੰਮੁਖੇ ਸ੍ਥਾਪਿਤਸ੍ਯ ਯੂਪਿਤਰਵਿਗ੍ਰਹਸ੍ਯ ਯਾਜਕੋ ਵ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼ਾਨ੍ ਪੁਸ਼਼੍ਪਮਾਲਾਸ਼੍ਚ ਦ੍ਵਾਰਸਮੀਪਮ੍ ਆਨੀਯ ਲੋਕੈਃ ਸਰ੍ੱਧੰ ਤਾਵੁੱਦਿਸ਼੍ਯ ਸਮੁਤ੍ਸ੍ਰੁʼਜ੍ਯ ਦਾਤੁਮ੍ ਉਦ੍ਯਤਃ|
14 Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they tore their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out,
ਤਦ੍ਵਾਰ੍ੱਤਾਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੁਤ੍ਵਾ ਬਰ੍ਣੱਬਾਪੌਲੌ ਸ੍ਵੀਯਵਸ੍ਤ੍ਰਾਣਿ ਛਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਲੋਕਾਨਾਂ ਮਧ੍ਯੰ ਵੇਗੇਨ ਪ੍ਰਵਿਸ਼੍ਯ ਪ੍ਰੋੱਚੈਃ ਕਥਿਤਵਨ੍ਤੌ,
15 And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach to you that ye should turn from these vanities to the living God, who made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are in them:
ਹੇ ਮਹੇੱਛਾਃ ਕੁਤ ਏਤਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ੰ ਕਰ੍ੰਮ ਕੁਰੁਥ? ਆਵਾਮਪਿ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ੌ ਸੁਖਦੁਃਖਭੋਗਿਨੌ ਮਨੁਸ਼਼੍ਯੌ, ਯੁਯਮ੍ ਏਤਾਃ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਾ ਵ੍ਰੁʼਥਾਕਲ੍ਪਨਾਃ ਪਰਿਤ੍ਯਜ੍ਯ ਯਥਾ ਗਗਣਵਸੁਨ੍ਧਰਾਜਲਨਿਧੀਨਾਂ ਤਨ੍ਮਧ੍ਯਸ੍ਥਾਨਾਂ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇਸ਼਼ਾਞ੍ਚ ਸ੍ਰਸ਼਼੍ਟਾਰਮਮਰਮ੍ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰੰ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਪਰਾਵਰ੍ੱਤਧ੍ਵੇ ਤਦਰ੍ਥਮ੍ ਆਵਾਂ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਸੰਨਿਧੌ ਸੁਸੰਵਾਦੰ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰਯਾਵਃ|
16 Who in times past allowed all nations to walk in their own ways.
ਸ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਃ ਪੂਰ੍ੱਵਕਾਲੇ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਦੇਸ਼ੀਯਲੋਕਾਨ੍ ਸ੍ਵਸ੍ਵਮਾਰ੍ਗੇ ਚਲਿਤੁਮਨੁਮਤਿੰ ਦੱਤਵਾਨ੍,
17 Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.
ਤਥਾਪਿ ਆਕਾਸ਼ਾਤ੍ ਤੋਯਵਰ੍ਸ਼਼ਣੇਨ ਨਾਨਾਪ੍ਰਕਾਰਸ਼ਸ੍ਯੋਤ੍ਪਤ੍ਯਾ ਚ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਹਿਤੈਸ਼਼ੀ ਸਨ੍ ਭਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯੈਰਾਨਨਦੇਨ ਚ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕਮ੍ ਅਨ੍ਤਃਕਰਣਾਨਿ ਤਰ੍ਪਯਨ੍ ਤਾਨਿ ਦਾਨਾਨਿ ਨਿਜਸਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਿਸ੍ਵਰੂਪਾਣਿ ਸ੍ਥਪਿਤਵਾਨ੍|
18 And with these sayings they scarce restrained the people, from doing sacrifice to them.
ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਤਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ਾਯਾਂ ਕਥਾਯਾਂ ਕਥਿਤਾਯਾਮਪਿ ਤਯੋਃ ਸਮੀਪ ਉਤ੍ਸਰ੍ਜਨਾਤ੍ ਲੋਕਨਿਵਹੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਯੇਣ ਨਿਵਰ੍ੱਤਯਿਤੁੰ ਨਾਸ਼ਕ੍ਨੁਤਾਮ੍|
19 And there came there certain Jews from Antioch and Iconium, who persuaded the people, and, having stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing him to be dead.
ਆਨ੍ਤਿਯਖਿਯਾ-ਇਕਨਿਯਨਗਰਾਭ੍ਯਾਂ ਕਤਿਪਯਯਿਹੂਦੀਯਲੋਕਾ ਆਗਤ੍ਯ ਲੋਕਾਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰਾਵਰ੍ੱਤਯਨ੍ਤ ਤਸ੍ਮਾਤ੍ ਤੈ ਪੌਲੰ ਪ੍ਰਸ੍ਤਰੈਰਾਘ੍ਨਨ੍ ਤੇਨ ਸ ਮ੍ਰੁʼਤ ਇਤਿ ਵਿਜ੍ਞਾਯ ਨਗਰਸ੍ਯ ਬਹਿਸ੍ਤਮ੍ ਆਕ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਯ ਨੀਤਵਨ੍ਤਃ|
20 But, as the disciples stood around him, he rose, and came into the city: and the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.
ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਗਣੇ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਚਤੁਰ੍ਦਿਸ਼ਿ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਤਿ ਸਤਿ ਸ ਸ੍ਵਯਮ੍ ਉੱਥਾਯ ਪੁਨਰਪਿ ਨਗਰਮਧ੍ਯੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਵਿਸ਼ਤ੍ ਤਤ੍ਪਰੇ(ਅ)ਹਨਿ ਬਰ੍ਣੱਬਾਸਹਿਤੋ ਦਰ੍ੱਬੀਨਗਰੰ ਗਤਵਾਨ੍|
21 And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and to Antioch,
ਤਤ੍ਰ ਸੁਸੰਵਾਦੰ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ੍ੱਯ ਬਹੁਲੋਕਾਨ੍ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਨ੍ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾ ਤੌ ਲੁਸ੍ਤ੍ਰਾਮ੍ ਇਕਨਿਯਮ੍ ਆਨ੍ਤਿਯਖਿਯਾਞ੍ਚ ਪਰਾਵ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਯ ਗਤੌ|
22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
ਬਹੁਦੁਃਖਾਨਿ ਭੁਕ੍ਤ੍ਵਾਪੀਸ਼੍ਵਰਰਾਜ੍ਯੰ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼਼੍ਟਵ੍ਯਮ੍ ਇਤਿ ਕਾਰਣਾਦ੍ ਧਰ੍ੰਮਮਾਰ੍ਗੇ ਸ੍ਥਾਤੁੰ ਵਿਨਯੰ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਗਣਸ੍ਯ ਮਨਃਸ੍ਥੈਰ੍ੱਯਮ੍ ਅਕੁਰੁਤਾਂ|
23 And when they had ordained for them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.
ਮਣ੍ਡਲੀਨਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਚੀਨਵਰ੍ਗਾਨ੍ ਨਿਯੁਜ੍ਯ ਪ੍ਰਾਰ੍ਥਨੋਪਵਾਸੌ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾ ਯਤ੍ਪ੍ਰਭੌ ਤੇ ਵ੍ਯਸ਼੍ਵਸਨ੍ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਹਸ੍ਤੇ ਤਾਨ੍ ਸਮਰ੍ਪ੍ਯ
24 And after they had passed throughout Pisidia, they came to Pamphylia.
ਪਿਸਿਦਿਯਾਮਧ੍ਯੇਨ ਪਾਮ੍ਫੁਲਿਯਾਦੇਸ਼ੰ ਗਤਵਨ੍ਤੌ|
25 And when they had preached the word in Perga, they went down into Attalia:
ਪਸ਼੍ਚਾਤ੍ ਪਰ੍ਗਾਨਗਰੰ ਗਤ੍ਵਾ ਸੁਸੰਵਾਦੰ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ੍ੱਯ ਅੱਤਾਲਿਯਾਨਗਰੰ ਪ੍ਰਸ੍ਥਿਤਵਨ੍ਤੌ|
26 And from there sailed to Antioch, where they had been commended from to the grace of God for the work which they fulfilled.
ਤਸ੍ਮਾਤ੍ ਸਮੁਦ੍ਰਪਥੇਨ ਗਤ੍ਵਾ ਤਾਭ੍ਯਾਂ ਯਤ੍ ਕਰ੍ੰਮ ਸਮ੍ਪੰਨੰ ਤਤ੍ਕਰ੍ੰਮ ਸਾਧਯਿਤੁੰ ਯੰਨਗਰੇ ਦਯਾਲੋਰੀਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਯ ਹਸ੍ਤੇ ਸਮਰ੍ਪਿਤੌ ਜਾਤੌ ਤਦ੍ ਆਨ੍ਤਿਯਖਿਯਾਨਗਰੰ ਗਤਵਨ੍ਤਾ|
27 And when they had come, and had gathered the church together, they reported all that God had done with them, and that he had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles.
ਤਤ੍ਰੋਪਸ੍ਥਾਯ ਤੰਨਗਰਸ੍ਥਮਣ੍ਡਲੀਂ ਸੰਗ੍ਰੁʼਹ੍ਯ ਸ੍ਵਾਭ੍ਯਾਮ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰੋ ਯਦ੍ਯਤ੍ ਕਰ੍ੰਮਕਰੋਤ੍ ਤਥਾ ਯੇਨ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰੇਣ ਭਿੰਨਦੇਸ਼ੀਯਲੋਕਾਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਾਸਰੂਪਦ੍ਵਾਰਮ੍ ਅਮੋਚਯਦ੍ ਏਤਾਨ੍ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਵ੍ਰੁʼੱਤਾਨ੍ਤਾਨ੍ ਤਾਨ੍ ਜ੍ਞਾਪਿਤਵਨ੍ਤੌ|
28 And there they abode a long time with the disciples.
ਤਤਸ੍ਤੌ ਸ਼ਿਰ੍ੱਯੈਃ ਸਾਰ੍ੱਧੰ ਤਤ੍ਰ ਬਹੁਦਿਨਾਨਿ ਨ੍ਯਵਸਤਾਮ੍|
