2 Samuel 22
1 And David spoke to the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD had delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul:
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ದಾವೀದನನ್ನು ಅವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಂದಲೂ, ಸೌಲನ ಕೈಯಿಂದಲೂ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಈ ಪದ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿದ್ದು.
2 And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
ಅವನು ಹೇಳಿದನು: “ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ಬಂಡೆಯೂ ನನ್ನ ಕೋಟೆಯೂ ನನ್ನ ವಿಮೋಚಕರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ,
3 The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my preserver; thou savest me from violence.
ನನ್ನ ಬಂಡೆಯಾದ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ, ನಾನು ಭರವಸವಿಡುವೆನು; ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಗುರಾಣಿ ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಕೊಂಬು, ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಉನ್ನತವಾದ ದುರ್ಗವೂ, ನನ್ನ ಆಶ್ರಯವೂ, ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರಿಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವವರೂ ಅವರೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
4 I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from my enemies.
“ಸ್ತುತಿ ಪಾತ್ರರಾಗಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ನಾನು ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
5 When the waves of death surrounded me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid;
ಮರಣದಲೆಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆವರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವು. ವಿನಾಶಪ್ರವಾಹಗಳು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹರಿದವು;
ಪಾತಾಳದ ಪಾಶಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡವು; ಮರಣದ ಬಲೆಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಿದವು. (Sheol h7585)
7 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry entered into his ears.
“ನನ್ನ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕರೆದೆನು; ನನ್ನ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟೆನು. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಂದಿರದೊಳಗಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರು; ನನ್ನ ಮೊರೆಯು ಅವರ ಕಿವಿಗೆ ಮುಟ್ಟಿತು.
8 Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was angry.
ಆಗ ದೇವರು ಬೇಸರಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಭೂಮಿಯು ನಡುಗಿ ಕದಲಿದವು, ಆಕಾಶಗಳ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರಗಳು ಸಹ ಕದಲಿದವು.
9 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.
ಮೂಗಿನಿಂದ ಹೊಗೆ ಬಂದಂತೆಯೂ, ಬಾಯಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ದಹಿಸುವ ಅಗ್ನಿ ಹೊರಟಂತೆಯೂ; ಕೆಂಡಗಳು ಅದರಿಂದ ಜ್ವಾಲಿಸಿದಂತೆಯೂ ಇತ್ತು.
10 He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and darkness was under his feet.
ದೇವರು ಆಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ಬಾಗಿಸಿ ಕೆಳಗಿಳಿದು ಬಂದರು; ಅವರ ಪಾದಗಳ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಮೋಡಗಳಿದ್ದವು;
11 And he rode upon a cherub, and flew: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind.
ಅವರು ಕೆರೂಬಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂತು ಹಾರಿದರು, ಗಾಳಿಯ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.
12 And he made darkness pavilions around him, dark waters, and thick clouds of the skies.
ಕತ್ತಲನ್ನೂ, ಮಳೆ ತರುವ ಆಕಾಶದ ಕಾರ್ಮೋಡಗಳನ್ನೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಹೊದಿಕೆಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
13 Through the brightness before him were coals of fire kindled.
ಅವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾಶದಿಂದ ಮಿಂಚಿನ ಜ್ವಾಲೆಗಳು ಹೊರಹೊಮ್ಮಿದವು.
14 The LORD thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his voice.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಆಕಾಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಡುಗಿದರು. ಮಹೋನ್ನತ ದೇವರ ಧ್ವನಿಯು ಕಲ್ಮಳೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಿಂಚುಗಳಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿಧ್ವನಿಸಿತು.
15 And he sent out arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and smote them.
ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಎಸೆದು ವೈರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಚದರಿಸಿದರು, ಸಿಡಿಲಿನಿಂದ ವೈರಿಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ಅಟ್ಟಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟರು.
16 And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were laid open, at the rebuking of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.
ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಗದರಿಕೆಯಿಂದಲೂ, ಅವರ ಮೂಗಿನ ಶ್ವಾಸದ ಗಾಳಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ತಳವು ಕಾಣಿಸಿತು. ಭೂಲೋಕದ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರಗಳು ಬಯಲಾದವು.
17 He sent from above, he took me; he drew me out of many waters;
“ಅವರು ಮೇಲಿನಿಂದ ಕೈಚಾಚಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು, ಅಗಾಧವಾದ ಜಲರಾಶಿಗಳಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆಳೆದರು.
18 He delivered me from my strong enemy, from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me.
ಅವರು ನನಗಿಂತ ಶಕ್ತಿಶಾಲಿಯಾದ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಂದ, ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ವೈರಿಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು.
19 They fell upon me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my support.
ನನ್ನ ಆಪತ್ತಿನ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ದಾಳಿಮಾಡಿದರು; ಆದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ ಆಧಾರವಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
20 He brought me forth also into a large place: he delivered me, because he delighted in me.
ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ವಿಶಾಲ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದರು; ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿದರು.
21 The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness: according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.
“ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ವ್ಯವಹರಿಸಿದರು; ನನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳ ಶುದ್ಧತ್ವದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನನಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
22 For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ನನ್ನ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋಗುವ ದುಷ್ಟತ್ವವನ್ನು ನಾನು ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
23 For all his judgments were before me: and as for his statutes, I did not depart from them.
ಅವರ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡೆನು; ದೇವರ ತೀರ್ಪುಗಳಿಂದ ನಾನು ತೊಲಗಿಹೋಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.
24 I was also upright before him, and have kept myself from my iniquity.
ನಾನು ಅವರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿಯು, ನಾನು ಪಾಪದಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಂಡೆನು.
25 Therefore the LORD hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye sight.
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೂ, ಅವರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಶುದ್ಧತ್ವದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೂ ನನಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
26 With the merciful thou wilt show thyself merciful, and with the upright man thou wilt show thyself upright.
“ದಯವಂತರಿಗೆ ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ದಯವಂತರಾಗಿ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ; ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿಗೆ ನೀವು ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿಯಾಗಿ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ.
27 With the pure thou wilt show thyself pure; and with the perverse thou wilt contend.
ಶುದ್ಧರಿಗೆ ನೀವು ಶುದ್ಧರಾಗಿ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ, ವಕ್ರ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ.
28 And the afflicted people thou wilt save: but thy eyes are upon the haughty, that thou mayest bring them down.
ದೀನರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ; ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಗರ್ವಿಷ್ಠರನ್ನು ತಗ್ಗಿಸಲು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರುತ್ತವೆ.
29 For thou art my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ದೀಪವು ನೀವೇ; ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳಕನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾರ್ಪಡಿಸುವರು.
30 For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall.
ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ ವೈರಿಸೇನೆಯ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಹೋಗುವೆನು. ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕೋಟೆಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನೂ ಹಾರುವೆನು.
31 As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a shield to all them that trust in him.
“ದೇವರ ಮಾರ್ಗವು ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣವಾದದ್ದು; ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ದೋಷವಿಲ್ಲದ್ದು; ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶ್ರಯ ಹೊಂದಿದ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಅವರು ಗುರಾಣಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
32 For who is God, except the LORD? and who is a rock, except our God?
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಲ್ಲದೆ ಬೇರೆ ದೇವರು ಯಾರು? ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಹೊರತುಪಡಿಸಿ ಬಂಡೆ ಯಾರು?
33 God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.
ಬಲದಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ಆಯುಧವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿ; ನನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತಗೊಳಿಸುವ ದೇವರು ಅವರೇ.
34 He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet: and setteth me upon my high places.
ನನ್ನ ಕಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಜಿಂಕೆಗಳ ಕಾಲುಗಳಂತೆ ಚುರುಕು ಮಾಡಿ, ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
35 He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by my arms.
ಅವರು ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳಿಗೆ ತರಬೇತುಕೊಟ್ಟು. ನನ್ನ ಭುಜದಿಂದ ಕಂಚಿನ ಬಿಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಬಗ್ಗಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
36 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great.
ನಿಮ್ಮ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಸಹಾಯವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಗುರಾಣಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಹಾಯವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಘನವಂತನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.
37 Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet have not slipped.
ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಕಾಲಡಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿಶಾಲಸ್ಥಳ ಒದಗಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ, ಆದುದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಹಿಮ್ಮಡಿಗಳು ಜಾರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
38 I have pursued my enemies, and destroyed them; and turned not again until I had consumed them.
“ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿದೆನು. ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿಬಿಡುವವರೆಗೂ ನಾನು ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.
39 And I have consumed them, and wounded them, that they could not arise: yea, they have fallen under my feet.
ಏಳಲಾರದಂತೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ತುಳಿದುಬಿಟ್ಟೆನು; ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಪಾದಗಳ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದರು.
40 For thou hast girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me.
ನೀವು ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನನಗೆ ಬಲವನ್ನು ಆಯುಧವನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೀಡಿ; ನನ್ನ ಎದುರಾಳಿಗಳನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಅಧೀನ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
41 Thou hast also given me the necks of my enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me.
ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ನನಗೆ ಬೆನ್ನುಮಾಡಿ ಓಡಿಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದಿರಿ; ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ವೈರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದೆನು.
42 They looked, but there was none to save; even to the LORD, but he answered them not.
ಅವರು ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟರು, ಆದರೆ ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವವರು ಯಾರೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೂ ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟರು, ಆದರೆ ಅವರೂ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
43 Then I beat them as small as the dust of the earth, I stamped them as the mire of the street, and spread them abroad.
ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ನೆಲದ ಧೂಳಿನಂತೆ ಪುಡಿಪುಡಿ ಮಾಡಿದೆನು; ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿನ ಕೆಸರು ಎಂಬಂತೆ ತುಳಿದು ಎಸೆದುಬಿಟ್ಟೆನು.
44 Thou also hast delivered me from the strivings of my people, thou hast kept me to be head of the heathen: a people which I knew not shall serve me.
“ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಜನರ ಒಳಕಲಹದಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ನಾಯಕನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಉಳಿಸಿದ್ದೀ; ನಾನು ಅರಿಯದ ಜನರು ನನಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗುವರು.
45 Strangers shall submit themselves to me: as soon as they hear, they shall be obedient to me.
ವಿದೇಶಿಯರು ನನಗೆ ಅಧೀನರಾದರು; ನನ್ನ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಕೇಳಿದ ಕೂಡಲೇ ನನಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗುವರು.
46 Strangers shall fade away, and they shall come trembling out of their fortresses.
ಅವರು ಭಯಗೊಳ್ಳುವರು; ನಡುಗುತ್ತಾ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೋಟೆಗಳಿಂದ ಹೊರಬರುವರು.
47 The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation.
“ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಜೀವಿಸುವ ದೇವರು! ನನ್ನ ಆಶ್ರಯವಾಗಿರುವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ. ನನ್ನ ಬಂಡೆಯು, ನನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ದೇವರು ಮಹಿಮೆ ಹೊಂದಲಿ.
48 It is God that avengeth me, and that bringeth down the people under me,
ದೇವರೇ ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮುಯ್ಯಿಗೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿ ತೀರಿಸುವವರೂ ಜನರನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಅಧೀನಪಡಿಸುವವರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
49 And that bringeth me forth from my enemies: thou also hast lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಎದುರಾಳಿಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಗೌರವಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ. ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡುವವನಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ.
50 Therefore I will give thanks to thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises to thy name.
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನಾನು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವೆನು. ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಕೀರ್ತಿಸುವೆನು.
51 He is the tower of salvation for his king: and he showeth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.
“ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವರು; ತಮ್ಮ ಅಭಿಷಿಕ್ತನಿಗೂ, ದಾವೀದನಿಗೂ, ಅವನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಿಗೂ ದಯೆಯನ್ನು ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸುವರು.”
