< 2 Corinthians 8 >

1 Moreover, brethren, we make known to you the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia;
Hmaunawnghanaw, Masidonia ram e Kawhmounnaw koe Cathut ni a poe e lungmanae hah nangmouh koe dei hanelah ka ngai.
2 That in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded to the riches of their liberality.
Ahnimouh teh roedengnae hoi puenghoi tanouknae a khang awh ei, ahnimae lunghawinae hoi roedengnae pueng teh, ahnimae pasougngamnae dawk bawinae lah a coung sak.
3 For to their power, I bear witness, and even beyond their power they were willing of themselves;
Kai ni kampangkhai e teh, ahnimouh ni amamae a coung thai awh e hlak acawilah a poe awh teh,
4 Begging us with much entreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the ministering to the saints.
tami kathoung kawkhik e lahoi coe hane yawhawinae hah ka coe awh van nahan, poehno hah na dâw pouh awh loe titeh na kâ awh.
5 And this they did, not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and to us by the will of God.
Ahnimouh teh kaimouh ni ka ngaihawi e hloilah, Cathut ngainae patetlah Bawipa koe amamouh hoi amamouh hmaloe a ka poe, a hnukkhu kaimouh koehai a ka poe awh.
6 So that we urged Titus, that as he had begun, so he would also finish in you the same grace also.
Hatdawkvah, Titu ni hote lungmanae hah nangmouh koe a kamtawng e patetlah a pout totouh a sak nahanlah kaimouh ni ahni hah ka hroecoe awh.
7 Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also.
Nangmouh teh yuemnae dawk hai thoseh, pâphonae dawk hai thoseh, lungangnae dawk hai thoseh, lungtangnae dawk hai thoseh, kaimouh koe na tawn awh e nangmae lungpatawnae hai thoseh, bangpueng dawk na kuepcing awh e patetlah hnokahawi saknae dawk haiyah na kawi awh naseh.
8 I speak not by commandment, but by occasion of the diligence of others, and to prove the sincerity of your love.
Hottelah khet navah, kâpoelawk lah ka dei e nahoeh. Ayânaw e lungthonae hoiyah nangmae lungpatawnae ka tanouknae doeh.
9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.
Bangkongtetpawiteh nangmouh teh, maimae Bawipa Jisuh Khrih e lungmanae heh panue awh. Bawipa teh a bawi ei ahnie roedeng e lahoi nangmouh na bawi awh nahanelah, nangmouh han roedengnae a khang.
10 And in this I give my advice: for this is expedient for you, who have begun before, not only to do, but also to be willing a year ago.
Hete kahawi hno sak e hoi kâkuen lah, pouknae kahawi na poe han. Hete pouknae teh kaloum tangcoung e kum dawk hoi hete hno kamtawng awh e lahoi tawk hanelah lungthonae ka tawn e nangmouh hanlah aphu ao.
11 Now therefore finish the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to will, so there may be a performance also out of that which ye have.
Nangmouh ni lungthonae hmaloe na tawn awh e patetlah atu hoi namamouh na coung thai awh e patetlah tawksak a nateh hete thaw hah abaw totouh tawk awh.
12 For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what a man hath, and not according to what he hath not.
Bangkongtetpawiteh, lungthonae awm pawiteh, kaawm hoeh e hno khen laipalah, kaawm hno dawk hoi ngai hane kawi lah ao.
13 For I mean not that other men should be eased, and you burdened:
Hete a kong dawk hoi alouknaw bet ahawi sak vaiteh nangmouh runae poe hane na hoeh. Reikâvan lah sak hane doeh.
14 But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality:
Atu tueng dawk nangmae tawnnae hah ahnimae pankinae koe na poe awh pawiteh ahnimae tawnnae hoi nangmae pankinae koe thap e lah kaawm van han.
15 As it is written, He that had gathered much had nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no want.
Hatnavah, kapap lah ka hmawt e haiyah cawi hoeh. Kayoun lah ka hmawt e hai vout hoeh telah Cakathoung dawk thut e patetlah sue kâvan lah ao han.
16 But thanks be to God, who put the same earnest care into the heart of Titus for you.
Nangmae lathueng kaie lungthonae teh Titu lungthin dawk kaawm sak e Cathut teh ka pholen.
17 For indeed he accepted the exhortation; but being more diligent, of his own accord he went to you.
Titu teh kaimae thapoenae lawk a ngai hloilah ama lungthonae hoe a tawn dawkvah nangmouh koe ka tho e lah ao.
18 And we have sent with him the brother, whose praise is in the gospel throughout all the churches;
Titu hoi hmaunawngha buet touh teh kaimouh ni ka patoun awh. Ahni ni kahawi e kamthang a hramkhai navah kawhmounnaw pueng koehoi pholen e tami lah ao hloi lah,
19 And not that only, but who was also chosen by the churches to travel with us with this grace, which is administered by us to the glory of the same Lord, and to show our ready mind:
Cathut amae bawilennae hoi kaimae lungthonae hah kamnue sak thai nahanlah thoseh, kaimouh hoi thaw ka tawk e hete poehnonaw hah, kaimouh hoi cungtalah cei sak hanelah, Kawhmounnaw ni na rawi awh teh coungkacoe lah ka o awh.
20 Avoiding this, that no man should blame us in this abundance which is administered by us:
Kaimouh ni hote poehno moikapap dawk, tounnae awm laipalah, ayânaw koehoi pathoenae ao hoeh nahanlah ka kâhruetcuet awh.
21 Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.
Bangkongtetpawiteh, kaimouh teh, Bawipa e hmalah dueng tho laipalah, talai taminaw e hmalah hai bari kaawm e dueng doeh ka tawk awh.
22 And we have sent with them our brother, whom we have often proved to be diligent in many things, but now much more diligent, upon the great confidence which I have in you.
Ahnimouh hoi cungtalah, kaimae alouke hmaunawngha buet touh ka patoun awh. Kaimouh ni ahni teh atuhoitu noumcai hnukkhu hno puengpa dawk a lungthahmei e tami lah a onae hah ka hmu awh. Ahni teh, nangmae lathueng yuemkamcu lah ao dawkvah, atu hai hoe lungtho e lah ao.
23 If any do enquire concerning Titus, he is my partner and fellowhelper concerning you: or our brethren be enquired of, they are the messengers of the churches, and the glory of Christ.
Titu hoi kâkuen lah dei pawiteh ahni heh kaie ka hui lah ao teh nangmouh hanelah kai hoi cungtalah thaw ka tawk e lah ao. Maimae hui, hmaunawnghanaw hoi kâkuen lah dei pawiteh ahnimouh teh kawhmoun e patounenaw, Khrih bawilennae lah kaawm e lah na o awh.
24 Therefore show ye to them, and before the churches, the proof of your love, and of our boasting on your behalf.
Hatdawkvah nangmae pahren lungmanae hoi nangmae kong dawk kaimouh ni kâoupkhai hane kongnaw hah kawhmounnaw e hmalah hoi ahnimouh koe kamnuek sak awh.
