< 1 Timothy 6 >

1 Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine may not be blasphemed.
Cathut min hoi cangkhainae teh dudam e lah ao hoeh nahan, patoun e san niteh a bawipa hah a bari hanelah a kamcu tie panuek naseh.
2 And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
A bawipa teh ka yuem e lah awm pawiteh, hmaunawngha doeh tie lung hoi hnephnap laipalah, hoe kahawicalah tawk pouh awh naseh. Bangkongtetpawiteh, kahawicalah tawk pouh e ka coe e bawi teh, ka yuem e tami, lungpataw kawi e tami lahai ao. Hetnaw heh cangkhai nateh hroecoe loe.
3 If any man teacheth otherwise, and agreeth not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the doctrine which is according to godliness;
Tami buetbuet touh ni ka thuem hoeh e cangkhainae hah a cangkhaia teh, maimae Bawipa Jesuh Khrih e kathounge cangkhainae hoi cathutlae cangkhainae ka tarawi hoeh e tami teh, lunglenpansa lah kaawm niteh banghai ka panuek hoeh e doeh.
4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, from which cometh envy, strife, railings, evil suspicions,
Lawklung kâounnae hoi kamcan dawk a lung kapen e lah ao awh. Hot kecu dawkvah, hounroenae, kâyuenae, dudam lawk deinae, lunghringnae ouk a tâco.
5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing gain to be godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
Hottelah panuenae lung a kamko dawkvah, lawkkatang ka bawk hoeh e kâounnae lah ao teh, Cathut lawk dawk khosaknae teh aphu ao toungloung katetnaw koe ka pout thai hoeh e kâounnae ouk a tâcokhai.
6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
Hatei, lungkuepnae lahoi Cathut lawk dawk khosaknae teh aphu ao tangngak doeh.
7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
Bangkongtetpawiteh, maimouh teh het talaivan dawk banghai sin laipalah tho awh dawkvah, banghai sin laipalah bout tâco awh han tie teh a kamceng.
8 And having food and raiment with these let us be content.
Hatdawkvah, canei khohna han tawn e ca dawk lungkuep awh sei.
9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
Tawnta han ka ngai e taminaw teh dumyennae dawk thoseh, karap dawk thoseh, taminaw kamkonae dawk ka bawt sak e radueknae dawk thoseh, ouk a bo awh.
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some have coveted, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
Bangkongtetpawiteh, tangka lungpatawnae teh kahawihoehe hno pueng e a kung lah ao. Taminaw teh tangka thouk a hounloun awh dawkvah, yuemnae dawk hoi lam a phen awh teh, lungreithainae hoi runae a kâpoe awh.
11 But thou, O man of God, flee from these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
Hatdawkvah, Oe! Cathut e tami, nang teh hote yonnae hah roun loe. Lannae, Cathut lawk dawk khosaknae, yuemnae, lungpatawnae, panguepnae, lungdo lungnemnae hah pou pâlei haw.
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. (aiōnios g166)
Yuemnae hoi kâkuen e, kahawi e kâtuknae hah tuk nateh, a yungyoe hringnae hah kuen nateh tawn loe. Nang teh hote hringnae hanlah, kaw lah na o dawkvah, kapanuekkhaikungnaw e hmalah kahawicalah na pâpho toe. (aiōnios g166)
13 I command thee in the sight of God, who maketh alive all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
Khrih Jisuh a kamnue ditouh, nang teh tounhoehe lah na o nahanlah, kaie kâpoelawk na tarawi nahan,
14 That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
a cawngca pueng kahring sak e Cathut hmalah hai thoseh, Pontius Pailat bawi hmalah hai thoseh, kahawicalah pâphonae lahoi kampangkhai e Bawipa Jisuh Khrih hmalah hai thoseh, kai ni kâ na poe.
15 Who in his times he shall show, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
A tue a kuep toteh Cathut ni Khrih a kamnue sak han. Cathut teh yawhawinae ao teh, buet touh dueng e ukkung Bawi lah ao. Siangpahrang pueng e Siangpahrang, bawi pueng e Bawi lah ao.
16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen. (aiōnios g166)
Bawipa dueng doeh duenae dawk hoi kahlout niteh, rek hnai thai hoeh e angnae dawk kaawm. Taminaw thung dawk api buet touh nihai Cathut teh hmawt awh boihoeh, hmawt hai hmawt thai awh hoeh. Hote Cathut teh bahu hoi barinae a yungyoe awm lawiseh. Amen. (aiōnios g166)
17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; (aiōn g165)
Atu e hringnae dawk tangka katawntanaw teh, kâoupnae lung tawn laipalah, kangning hoeh e hnopai kâuep laipalah, maimouh ni coe hane ka kuep lah na ka poe e kahring Cathut kâuep nahanlah cingthui loe. (aiōn g165)
18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to share;
Ayânaw hanlah hnokahawi saknae, nuencang kahawi hoi kamsi laipalah ka poe e naw lah coungkacoe ao awh nahan,
19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
hringnae katang a coe awh nahanelah due hnukkhu hringnae adu a ung thai awh nahanlah cingthui loe.
20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
Oe! Timote, nang koe na poe e naw hah tarawi loe, Cathut lawk hoi kâkuen hoeh e ayawmyin lah dei e lawknaw hoi, talai thoumthainae lahoi kâtaran lah deinae hah roun loe.
21 Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen. The first to Timothy was written from Laodicea, which is the chiefest city of Phrygia Pacatiana.
Hote talai thoumnae hah, tami tangawn ni kampangkhai e lahoi, yuemnae lamthung a phen awh toe. Nang koe lungmanae awm lawiseh. Amen.
