< 1 Thessalonians 5 >

1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write to you.
Ahi tazong suapui te awng, hun le khuahun thu te note tung ah lai taw kong at tu ki sam ngawl hi.
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
Banghangziam cile zan in nguta hongpai bang in, Topa ni zong tabang hi tu hi, ci sia noma mama in a kicingtak in na he uh hi.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
Banghangziam cile naupai nupi nautun nat bang in; amate in nuam in thim khipkhep hi, a ci uh laitak in amate tung ah upmawk ngawl pi in hong theng tu hi; taciang amate suakta ngawl tu hi.
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober minded.
Tua ahikom ngualdang te mut bang in, mu ba tawng; eite kinging le pilvang in ngak tawng.
7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that get drunk are drunk in the night.
Banghangziam cile a mu te sia zan lai in mu uh hi; taciang zukham te zong zan ciang in kham uh hi.
8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
Ahihang sun i ta eite, pilvang in om tawng, upna le itna awmdal bel tawng; taciang lukhu atu in ngupna i lametna khu tawng.

10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
