1 Kings 15

1 Now in the eighteenth year of king Jeroboam the son of Nebat reigned Abijam over Judah.

၁

2 Three years he reigned in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Maachah, the daughter of Abishalom.

၂နေဗတ် ၏သား ယေရောဗောင် မင်းကြီး နန်းစံတဆယ် ရှစ် နှစ် တွင် ၊ အဘိယ သည် ယေရုရှလင် မြို့၌ မင်းပြု ၍၊ ယုဒ ပြည်ကို သုံး နှစ် စိုးစံ ၏။ မယ်တော် ကား၊ အဘရှလုံ ၏ သမီး မာခါ အမည် ရှိ၏။

3 And he walked in all the sins of his father, which he had done before him: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as the heart of David his father.

၃ခမည်းတော် ပြုသောဒုစရိုက် ကို ပြု မြဲပြု၍ ၊ ဘေး တော်ဒါဝိဒ် ကဲ့သို့ မိမိ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌ စိတ် နှလုံးစုံလင် သည်မ ဟုတ်။

4 Nevertheless for David’s sake the LORD his God gave him a lamp in Jerusalem, to set up his son after him, and to establish Jerusalem:

၄သို့သော်လည်း ဒါဝိဒ် ၏မျက်နှာကိုထောက်၍ ၊ သူ ၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ဆွေ တော်မျိုးတော် ကို ချီးမြှောက် ၍၊ ယေရုရှလင် မြို့ကို တည် စေသဖြင့် ၊ ထိုမြို့ ၌ ဒါဝိဒ်၏မီးခွက် ကို ထွန်းလင်းစေတော်မူ၏။

5 Because David did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, and turned not aside from any thing that he commanded him all the days of his life, except only in the matter of Uriah the Hittite.

၅အကြောင်း မူကား၊ ဒါဝိဒ် သည် ဟိတ္တိ အမျိုး ဥရိယ အမှု ကိုထားလျှင်၊ တသက်လုံး ထာဝရဘုရားမှာ ထား တော်မူသော အမှု တစုံတခုကိုမျှ မ ရှောင် ၊ ရှေ့ တော်၌ တရား သဖြင့် ကျင့် သောအကြောင်းတည်း။

6 And there was war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam all the days of his life.

၆ရောဗောင် သား အဘိယနှင့် ယေရောဗောင် တို့သည် အသက် ရှည်သမျှ ကာလပတ်လုံး ရန်ဘက် ပြု ကြ၏။

7 Now the rest of the acts of Abijam, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? And there was war between Abijam and Jeroboam.

၇အဘိယ ပြုမူ သော အမှုအရာ ကြွင်း သမျှ တို့သည် ယုဒ ရာဇဝင် ၌ ရေးထား လျက်ရှိ၏။

8 And Abijam slept with his fathers; and they buried him in the city of David: and Asa his son reigned in his stead.

၈အဘိယ သည်ဘိုးဘေး တို့နှင့် အိပ်ပျော် ၍ ဒါဝိဒ် မြို့ ၌ သင်္ဂြိုဟ် ခြင်းကိုခံ လေ၏။ သား တော်အာသ သည် ခမည်းတော် အရာ ၌ နန်း ထိုင်၏။

9 And in the twentieth year of Jeroboam king of Israel reigned Asa over Judah.

၉ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် ယေရောဗောင် နန်းစံနှစ် ဆယ်တွင် ၊ အာသ သည် ယေရုရှလင် မြို့၌ လေး ဆယ်တ နှစ် မင်းပြု ၍ ယုဒ ပြည်ကို စိုးစံ လေ၏။

10 And forty and one years reigned he in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Maachah, the daughter of Abishalom.

၁၀အဘွားတော်ကား၊ အဘရှလုံ ၏သမီး မာခါ ဖြစ်၏။

11 And Asa did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, as did David his father.

၁၁အာသ သည် အဘိ တော်ဒါဝိဒ် ပြုသကဲ့သို့ ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌ တရား သဖြင့်ပြု ၏။

12 And he banished the sodomites from the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made.

၁၂ယောက်ျားအလိုသို့ လိုက်တတ်သောမိန်းမလျှာ တို့ကို၎င်း ၊ ဘိုး တော်ဘေးတော်လုပ် သော ရုပ်တု ရှိသမျှ တို့ကို၎င်း၊ ပြည် တော်ထဲက ပယ်ရှား တော်မူ၏။

13 And also Maachah his mother, even her he removed from being queen, because she had made an idol in a grove; and Asa destroyed her idol, and burnt it by the brook Kidron.

၁၃အဘွားတော်မာခါ သည် အာရှရ ပင်အဘို့ ရုပ်တု ကိုလုပ် သောကြောင့် ၊ မိဖုရား အရာကိုနှုတ် ၍ ၊ ရုပ်တု ကို ဖျက်ဆီး ပြီးလျှင် ၊ ကေဒြုန် ချောင်း နား မှာ မီးရှို့ တော်မူ၏။

14 But the high places were not removed: nevertheless Asa’s heart was perfect with the LORD all his days.

၁၄မြင့် သောအရပ်တို့ကို မ ပယ်ရှား သော်လည်း ၊ လက်ထက်တော် ကာလ ပတ်လုံး၊ အာသ စိတ် နှလုံးသည် ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌ စုံလင် ခြင်းရှိ ၏။

15 And he brought the things which his father had dedicated, and the things which himself had dedicated, into the house of the LORD, silver, and gold, and vessels.

၁၅ခမည်းတော် လှူ သောဥစ္စာ၊ ကိုယ်တိုင်လှူ သော ဥစ္စာ၊ ရွှေ ၊ ငွေ ၊ တန်ဆာ များကို ဗိမာန် တော်ထဲသို့ သွင်း တော်မူ၏။

16 And there was war between Asa and Baasha king of Israel all their days.

၁၆အာသ နှင့် ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် ဗာရှာ တို့သည် အသက်ရှည်သမျှ ကာလ ပတ်လုံး ရန်ဘက် ပြု ကြ၏။

17 And Baasha king of Israel went up against Judah, and built Ramah, that he might not allow any to go out or come in to Asa king of Judah.

၁၇ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် ဗာရှာ သည် ယုဒ ပြည်သို့ စစ်ချီ ၍ ၊ ယုဒ ရှင်ဘုရင် အာသ ထံ သို့အဘယ်သူမျှမ ထွက် မဝင်စေခြင်းငှါရာမ မြို့ကို တည် ၏။

18 Then Asa took all the silver and the gold that were left in the treasuries of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king’s house, and delivered them into the hand of his servants: and king Asa sent them to Benhadad, the son of Tabrimon, the son of Hezion, king of Syria, that dwelt at Damascus, saying,

၁၈ထိုအခါ ကျန်ကြွင်း သော ဗိမာန် တော်ဘဏ္ဍာ နှင့် နန်း တော်ဘဏ္ဍာ တည်းဟူသောရွှေ ငွေ ရှိသမျှ ကို အာသ သည်ယူ ၍ မိမိ ကျွန် တို့၌ အပ် သဖြင့် ၊ ဒမာသက် မြို့မှာ နေ သောရှုရိ ရှင်ဘုရင် ရေဇုန် သား တာဗရိမုန် ၏သား ဗင်္ဟာဒဒ် ထံ သို့ပေး လိုက်၍၊

19 There is a league between me and thee, and between my father and thy father: behold, I have sent to thee a present of silver and gold; come and break thy league with Baasha king of Israel, that he may depart from me.

၁၉ငါ သည်သင် နှင့် ၎င်း၊ ငါ့ ခမည်းတော် သည် သင့် ခမည်းတော် နှင့်၎င်း၊ မိဿဟာယ ဖွဲ့ခြင်းရှိသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ ရွှေ ငွေ ကို ငါလက်ဆောင် ပေး လိုက်၏။ ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် ဗာရှာ သည် ငါ့ ထံမှ ထွက်သွား စေခြင်းငှါ ၊ သူနှင့် ဖွဲ့သော မိဿဟာယ ကို ဖျက် ၍လာ ပါဟု မှာ လိုက်လေ၏။

20 So Benhadad hearkened to king Asa, and sent the captains of the armies which he had against the cities of Israel, and smote Ijon, and Dan, and Abelbethmaachah, and all Cinneroth, with all the land of Naphtali.

၂၀အာသ မင်းကြီး ၏ စကားကို ဗင်္ဟာဒဒ် သည် နားထောင် ၍ ၊ ဣသရေလ မြို့ ရွာတို့ကို စစ်ချီစေခြင်းငှါမိမိ ဗိုလ် များကို စေလွှတ် သဖြင့် ၊ သူတို့သည် ဣယုန် မြို့၊ ဒန် မြို့၊ အာဗေလဗက်မာခါ မြို့မှစ၍ ဂင်္နေသရက် ပြည်လုံး ၊ နဿလိ ပြည် လုံး ကို လုပ်ကြံ ကြ၏။

21 And it came to pass, when Baasha heard of it, that he stopped building Ramah, and dwelt in Tirzah.

၂၁ထိုသိတင်းကို ဗာရှာ သည် ကြား သောအခါ ၊ ရာမ မြို့ကို လက်စ မသတ်ဘဲ တိရဇ မြို့၌ နေ ရ၏။

22 Then king Asa made a proclamation throughout all Judah; none was exempted: and they took away the stones of Ramah, and its timber, with which Baasha had built it; and king Asa built with them Geba of Benjamin, and Mizpah.

၂၂ထိုအခါ အာသ မင်းကြီး သည် ယုဒ ပြည် တရှောက်လုံး တွင် အမိန့် တော်ကို ကြော်ငြာစေသဖြင့်၊ ပြည်သားတယောက် မျှ မလွတ် ၊ ရှိသမျှတို့သည် ရာမ မြို့၌ ဗာရှာ မင်းသွင်းသော ကျောက် နှင့် သစ်သား ကိုယူသွား ကြ၍ ၊ အာသ မင်းကြီး သည် ဗင်္ယာမိန် ခရိုင်၌ ဂေဘ မြို့နှင့် မိဇပါ မြို့ကို တည် ၏။

23 The rest of all the acts of Asa, and all his might, and all that he did, and the cities which he built, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? Nevertheless in the time of his old age he was diseased in his feet.

၂၃အာသ မင်းပြုမူ သော အမှုအရာ ကြွင်း သမျှ နှင့် တန်ခိုး ကြီးခြင်း၊ မြို့ များကိုတည် ခြင်းအရာတို့သည် ယုဒ ရာဇဝင် ၌ ရေးထား လျက်ရှိ၏။ သို့ရာတွင် အသက် ကြီးသောအခါခြေ တော်၌ အနာ ရောဂါစွဲသဖြင့်၊

24 And Asa slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father: and Jehoshaphat his son reigned in his stead.

၂၄ဘိုးဘေး တို့နှင့် အိပ်ပျော် ၍ အဘိ တော်ဒါဝိဒ် မြို့ ၌ သင်္ဂြိုဟ် ခြင်းကိုခံလေ၏။ သား တော်ယောရှဖတ် သည် ခမည်းတော် အရာ ၌ နန်း ထိုင်၏။

25 And Nadab the son of Jeroboam began to reign over Israel in the second year of Asa king of Judah, and reigned over Israel two years.

၂၅ယုဒ ရှင်ဘုရင် အာသ နန်းစံနှစ် နှစ် တွင် ၊ ယေရောဗောင် သား နာဒဒ် သည် ဣသရေလ နိုင်ငံ၌ မင်းပြု ၍ နှစ် နှစ်စိုးစံ ၏။

26 And he did evil in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the way of his father, and in his sin which he made Israel to sin.

၂၆ထိုမင်းသည် ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌ ဒုစရိုက် ကိုပြု ၍ ၊ ခမည်းတော် လိုက် သောလမ်း ၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးကို ပြစ်မှား စေသော လမ်းသို့ လိုက်လေ၏။

27 And Baasha the son of Ahijah, of the house of Issachar, conspired against him; and Baasha smote him at Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistines; for Nadab and all Israel laid siege to Gibbethon.

၂၇ဣသခါ အမျိုး ၊ အဟိယ သား ဗာရှာ သည် သင်းဖွဲ့ ၍ ၊ နာဒဒ် မင်းနှင့် ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားအပေါင်း တို့သည် ဖိလိတ္တိ ပြည် ဂိဗေသုန် မြို့ကို ဝိုင်းထား ကြစဉ်၊

28 Even in the third year of Asa king of Judah did Baasha slay him, and reigned in his stead.

၂၈ယုဒ ရှင်ဘုရင် အာသ နန်းစံသုံး နှစ် တွင် ၊ ဗာရှာ သည် နာဒဒ်မင်းကို လုပ်ကြံ ၍ နန်း ထိုင်လေ၏။

29 And it came to pass, when he reigned, that he smote all the house of Jeroboam; he left not to Jeroboam any that breathed, until he had destroyed him, according to the saying of the LORD, which he spoke by his servant Ahijah the Shilonite:

၂၉နန်း ထိုင်သောအခါ ယေရောဗောင် အမျိုး ရှိသမျှ ကိုလည်း လုပ်ကြံ ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် မိမိ ကျွန် ၊ ရှိလော မြို့သားအဟိယ အားဖြင့် မိန့် တော်မူသည် အတိုင်း ၊ ယေရောဗောင် အမျိုးကို မဖျက် မှီတိုင်အောင် ၊ အသက်ရှူ သောသူတယောက် ကိုမျှ မ ချန် မထား။

30 Because of the sins of Jeroboam which he sinned, and which he made Israel sin, by his provocation with which he provoked the LORD God of Israel to anger.

၃၀အကြောင်း မူကား၊ ယေရောဗောင် သည် ကိုယ်တိုင်ပြစ်မှား သော အပြစ် နှင့် ဣသရေလ အမျိုးကိုလည်း ပြစ်မှား စေသော အပြစ်အားဖြင့်၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုး ၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား ၏အမျက် တော်ကို နှိုးဆော်သောအကြောင်းတည်း။

31 Now the rest of the acts of Nadab, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

၃၁နာဒဒ် မင်းပြုမူ သော အမှုအရာ ကြွင်း သမျှ တို့ သည် ဣသရေလ ရာဇဝင် ၌ ရေးထား လျက် ရှိ၏။

32 And there was war between Asa and Baasha king of Israel all their days.

၃၂အာသ နှင့် ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် ဗာရှာ တို့သည် အသက်ရှည်သမျှ ကာလ ပတ်လုံး ရန်ဘက် ပြု ကြ၏။

33 In the third year of Asa king of Judah began Baasha the son of Ahijah to reign over all Israel in Tirzah, twenty and four years.

၃၃ယုဒ ရှင်ဘုရင် အာသ နန်းစံသုံး နှစ် တွင် ၊ အဟိယ သား ဗာရှာ သည် တိရဇ မြို့မှာ မင်းပြု၍၊ ဣသရေလ နိုင်ငံကို နှစ် ဆယ်လေး နှစ် စိုးစံ ၏။

34 And he did evil in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the way of Jeroboam, and in his sin which he made Israel to sin.

၃၄ထိုမင်းသည် ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌ ဒုစရိုက် ကိုပြု ၍ ၊ ယေရောဗောင် လိုက်သောလမ်း ၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးကိုပြစ်မှား စေသော လမ်းသို့ လိုက် လေ၏။
