Luke 10
1 Now after these things, the Lord appointed seventy others, and sent them out two by two ahead of him to every town and place where he himself was about to go.
തതഃ പരം പ്രഭുരപരാൻ സപ്തതിശിഷ്യാൻ നിയുജ്യ സ്വയം യാനി നഗരാണി യാനി സ്ഥാനാനി ച ഗമിഷ്യതി താനി നഗരാണി താനി സ്ഥാനാനി ച പ്രതി ദ്വൗ ദ്വൗ ജനൗ പ്രഹിതവാൻ|
2 He said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.
തേഭ്യഃ കഥയാമാസ ച ശസ്യാനി ബഹൂനീതി സത്യം കിന്തു ഛേദകാ അൽപേ; തസ്മാദ്ധേതോഃ ശസ്യക്ഷേത്രേ ഛേദകാൻ അപരാനപി പ്രേഷയിതും ക്ഷേത്രസ്വാമിനം പ്രാർഥയധ്വം|
3 Go on your way. See, I send you out as lambs in the midst of wolves.
യൂയം യാത, പശ്യത, വൃകാണാം മധ്യേ മേഷശാവകാനിവ യുഷ്മാൻ പ്രഹിണോമി|
4 Do not carry a money bag, or a traveler's bag, or sandals, and greet no one on the road.
യൂയം ക്ഷുദ്രം മഹദ് വാ വസനസമ്പുടകം പാദുകാശ്ച മാ ഗൃഹ്ലീത, മാർഗമധ്യേ കമപി മാ നമത ച|
5 Whatever house you enter, first say, 'May peace be on this house!'
അപരഞ്ച യൂയം യദ് യത് നിവേശനം പ്രവിശഥ തത്ര നിവേശനസ്യാസ്യ മങ്ഗലം ഭൂയാദിതി വാക്യം പ്രഥമം വദത|
6 If a person of peace is there, your peace will rest upon him, but if not, it will return to you.
തസ്മാത് തസ്മിൻ നിവേശനേ യദി മങ്ഗലപാത്രം സ്ഥാസ്യതി തർഹി തന്മങ്ഗലം തസ്യ ഭവിഷ്യതി, നോചേത് യുഷ്മാൻ പ്രതി പരാവർത്തിഷ്യതേ|
7 Remain in that same house, eating and drinking what they provide, for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Do not move around from house to house.
അപരഞ്ച തേ യത്കിഞ്ചിദ് ദാസ്യന്തി തദേവ ഭുക്ത്വാ പീത്വാ തസ്മിന്നിവേശനേ സ്ഥാസ്യഥ; യതഃ കർമ്മകാരീ ജനോ ഭൃതിമ് അർഹതി; ഗൃഹാദ് ഗൃഹം മാ യാസ്യഥ|
8 Whatever town you enter, and they receive you, eat what is set before you,
അന്യച്ച യുഷ്മാസു കിമപി നഗരം പ്രവിഷ്ടേഷു ലോകാ യദി യുഷ്മാകമ് ആതിഥ്യം കരിഷ്യന്തി, തർഹി യത് ഖാദ്യമ് ഉപസ്ഥാസ്യന്തി തദേവ ഖാദിഷ്യഥ|
9 and heal the sick that are there. Say to them, 'The kingdom of God has come close to you.'
തന്നഗരസ്ഥാൻ രോഗിണഃ സ്വസ്ഥാൻ കരിഷ്യഥ, ഈശ്വരീയം രാജ്യം യുഷ്മാകമ് അന്തികമ് ആഗമത് കഥാമേതാഞ്ച പ്രചാരയിഷ്യഥ|
10 Whenever you enter a town and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say,
കിന്തു കിമപി പുരം യുഷ്മാസു പ്രവിഷ്ടേഷു ലോകാ യദി യുഷ്മാകമ് ആതിഥ്യം ന കരിഷ്യന്തി, തർഹി തസ്യ നഗരസ്യ പന്ഥാനം ഗത്വാ കഥാമേതാം വദിഷ്യഥ,
11 'Even the dust from your town that clings to our feet we wipe off against you! But know this: The kingdom of God has come near.'
യുഷ്മാകം നഗരീയാ യാ ധൂല്യോഽസ്മാസു സമലഗൻ താ അപി യുഷ്മാകം പ്രാതികൂല്യേന സാക്ഷ്യാർഥം സമ്പാതയാമഃ; തഥാപീശ്വരരാജ്യം യുഷ്മാകം സമീപമ് ആഗതമ് ഇതി നിശ്ചിതം ജാനീത|
12 I say to you that on the judgment day it will be more tolerable for Sodom than for that town.
അഹം യുഷ്മഭ്യം യഥാർഥം കഥയാമി, വിചാരദിനേ തസ്യ നഗരസ്യ ദശാതഃ സിദോമോ ദശാ സഹ്യാ ഭവിഷ്യതി|
13 Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! If the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
ഹാ ഹാ കോരാസീൻ നഗര, ഹാ ഹാ ബൈത്സൈദാനഗര യുവയോർമധ്യേ യാദൃശാനി ആശ്ചര്യ്യാണി കർമ്മാണ്യക്രിയന്ത, താനി കർമ്മാണി യദി സോരസീദോനോ ർനഗരയോരകാരിഷ്യന്ത, തദാ ഇതോ ബഹുദിനപൂർവ്വം തന്നിവാസിനഃ ശണവസ്ത്രാണി പരിധായ ഗാത്രേഷു ഭസ്മ വിലിപ്യ സമുപവിശ്യ സമഖേത്സ്യന്ത|
14 But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you.
അതോ വിചാരദിവസേ യുഷ്മാകം ദശാതഃ സോരസീദോന്നിവാസിനാം ദശാ സഹ്യാ ഭവിഷ്യതി|
15 You, Capernaum, do you think you will be exalted to heaven? No, you will be brought down to Hades. (Hadēs g86)
ഹേ കഫർനാഹൂമ്, ത്വം സ്വർഗം യാവദ് ഉന്നതാ കിന്തു നരകം യാവത് ന്യഗ്ഭവിഷ്യസി| (Hadēs g86)
16 The one who listens to you listens to me, and the one who rejects you rejects me, and the one who rejects me rejects the one who sent me.”
യോ ജനോ യുഷ്മാകം വാക്യം ഗൃഹ്ലാതി സ മമൈവ വാക്യം ഗൃഹ്ലാതി; കിഞ്ച യോ ജനോ യുഷ്മാകമ് അവജ്ഞാം കരോതി സ മമൈവാവജ്ഞാം കരോതി; യോ ജനോ മമാവജ്ഞാം കരോതി ച സ മത്പ്രേരകസ്യൈവാവജ്ഞാം കരോതി|
17 The seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons submitted to us in your name.”
അഥ തേ സപ്തതിശിഷ്യാ ആനന്ദേന പ്രത്യാഗത്യ കഥയാമാസുഃ, ഹേ പ്രഭോ ഭവതോ നാമ്നാ ഭൂതാ അപ്യസ്മാകം വശീഭവന്തി|
18 Jesus said to them, “I was watching Satan fall from heaven as lightning.
തദാനീം സ താൻ ജഗാദ, വിദ്യുതമിവ സ്വർഗാത് പതന്തം ശൈതാനമ് അദർശമ്|
19 See, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will in any way hurt you.
പശ്യത സർപാൻ വൃശ്ചികാൻ രിപോഃ സർവ്വപരാക്രമാംശ്ച പദതലൈ ർദലയിതും യുഷ്മഭ്യം ശക്തിം ദദാമി തസ്മാദ് യുഷ്മാകം കാപി ഹാനി ർന ഭവിഷ്യതി|
20 Nevertheless do not rejoice only in this, that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice even more that your names are engraved in heaven.”
ഭൂതാ യുഷ്മാകം വശീഭവന്തി, ഏതന്നിമിത്തത് മാ സമുല്ലസത, സ്വർഗേ യുഷ്മാകം നാമാനി ലിഖിതാനി സന്തീതി നിമിത്തം സമുല്ലസത|
21 At that same time he rejoiced greatly in the Holy Spirit, and said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you concealed these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to those who are untaught, like little children. Yes, Father, for so it was well pleasing in your sight.”
തദ്ഘടികായാം യീശു ർമനസി ജാതാഹ്ലാദഃ കഥയാമാസ ഹേ സ്വർഗപൃഥിവ്യോരേകാധിപതേ പിതസ്ത്വം ജ്ഞാനവതാം വിദുഷാഞ്ച ലോകാനാം പുരസ്താത് സർവ്വമേതദ് അപ്രകാശ്യ ബാലകാനാം പുരസ്താത് പ്രാകാശയ ഏതസ്മാദ്ധേതോസ്ത്വാം ധന്യം വദാമി, ഹേ പിതരിത്ഥം ഭവതു യദ് ഏതദേവ തവ ഗോചര ഉത്തമമ്|
22 “All things have been entrusted to me from my Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”
പിത്രാ സർവ്വാണി മയി സമർപിതാനി പിതരം വിനാ കോപി പുത്രം ന ജാനാതി കിഞ്ച പുത്രം വിനാ യസ്മൈ ജനായ പുത്രസ്തം പ്രകാശിതവാൻ തഞ്ച വിനാ കോപി പിതരം ന ജാനാതി|
23 Then he turned around to the disciples and said privately, “Blessed are those who see the things that you see.
തപഃ പരം സ ശിഷ്യാൻ പ്രതി പരാവൃത്യ ഗുപ്തം ജഗാദ, യൂയമേതാനി സർവ്വാണി പശ്യഥ തതോ യുഷ്മാകം ചക്ഷൂംഷി ധന്യാനി|
24 I say to you, many prophets and kings desired to see the things you see, and they did not see them, and to hear the things that you hear, and they did not hear them.”
യുഷ്മാനഹം വദാമി, യൂയം യാനി സർവ്വാണി പശ്യഥ താനി ബഹവോ ഭവിഷ്യദ്വാദിനോ ഭൂപതയശ്ച ദ്രഷ്ടുമിച്ഛന്തോപി ദ്രഷ്ടും ന പ്രാപ്നുവൻ, യുഷ്മാഭി ര്യാ യാഃ കഥാശ്ച ശ്രൂയന്തേ താഃ ശ്രോതുമിച്ഛന്തോപി ശ്രോതും നാലഭന്ത|
25 Behold, a certain teacher of the Jewish laws stood up so that he might test him, saying, “Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” (aiōnios g166)
അനന്തരമ് ഏകോ വ്യവസ്ഥാപക ഉത്ഥായ തം പരീക്ഷിതും പപ്രച്ഛ, ഹേ ഉപദേശക അനന്തായുഷഃ പ്രാപ്തയേ മയാ കിം കരണീയം? (aiōnios g166)
26 Jesus said to him, “What is written in the law? How do you read it?”
യീശുഃ പ്രത്യുവാച, അത്രാർഥേ വ്യവസ്ഥായാം കിം ലിഖിതമസ്തി? ത്വം കീദൃക് പഠസി?
27 He gave an answer and he said, “You will love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”
തതഃ സോവദത്, ത്വം സർവ്വാന്തഃകരണൈഃ സർവ്വപ്രാണൈഃ സർവ്വശക്തിഭിഃ സർവ്വചിത്തൈശ്ച പ്രഭൗ പരമേശ്വരേ പ്രേമ കുരു, സമീപവാസിനി സ്വവത് പ്രേമ കുരു ച|
28 Jesus said to him, “You have answered correctly. Do this, and you will live.”
തദാ സ കഥയാമാസ, ത്വം യഥാർഥം പ്രത്യവോചഃ, ഇത്ഥമ് ആചര തേനൈവ ജീവിഷ്യസി|
29 But the teacher, desiring to justify himself, said to Jesus, “Who is my neighbor?”
കിന്തു സ ജനഃ സ്വം നിർദ്ദോഷം ജ്ഞാപയിതും യീശും പപ്രച്ഛ, മമ സമീപവാസീ കഃ? തതോ യീശുഃ പ്രത്യുവാച,
30 Jesus answered him and said, “A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho. He fell among robbers, who stripped him of his belongings, and beat him, and left him half dead.
ഏകോ ജനോ യിരൂശാലമ്പുരാദ് യിരീഹോപുരം യാതി, ഏതർഹി ദസ്യൂനാം കരേഷു പതിതേ തേ തസ്യ വസ്ത്രാദികം ഹൃതവന്തഃ തമാഹത്യ മൃതപ്രായം കൃത്വാ ത്യക്ത്വാ യയുഃ|
31 By chance a certain priest was going down that way, and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
അകസ്മാദ് ഏകോ യാജകസ്തേന മാർഗേണ ഗച്ഛൻ തം ദൃഷ്ട്വാ മാർഗാന്യപാർശ്വേന ജഗാമ|
32 Similarly a Levite also, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side.
ഇത്ഥമ് ഏകോ ലേവീയസ്തത്സ്ഥാനം പ്രാപ്യ തസ്യാന്തികം ഗത്വാ തം വിലോക്യാന്യേന പാർശ്വേന ജഗാമ|
33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was. When he saw him, he was moved with compassion.
കിന്ത്വേകഃ ശോമിരോണീയോ ഗച്ഛൻ തത്സ്ഥാനം പ്രാപ്യ തം ദൃഷ്ട്വാദയത|
34 He approached him and bound up his wounds, pouring oil and wine on them. He set him on his own animal, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
തസ്യാന്തികം ഗത്വാ തസ്യ ക്ഷതേഷു തൈലം ദ്രാക്ഷാരസഞ്ച പ്രക്ഷിപ്യ ക്ഷതാനി ബദ്ധ്വാ നിജവാഹനോപരി തമുപവേശ്യ പ്രവാസീയഗൃഹമ് ആനീയ തം സിഷേവേ|
35 The next day he took out two denarii, and gave them to the host, and said, 'Take care of him and whatever extra you spend, when I return, I will repay you.'
പരസ്മിൻ ദിവസേ നിജഗമനകാലേ ദ്വൗ മുദ്രാപാദൗ തദ്ഗൃഹസ്വാമിനേ ദത്ത്വാവദത് ജനമേനം സേവസ്വ തത്ര യോഽധികോ വ്യയോ ഭവിഷ്യതി തമഹം പുനരാഗമനകാലേ പരിശോത്സ്യാമി|
36 Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to him who fell among the robbers?”
ഏഷാം ത്രയാണാം മധ്യേ തസ്യ ദസ്യുഹസ്തപതിതസ്യ ജനസ്യ സമീപവാസീ കഃ? ത്വയാ കിം ബുധ്യതേ?
37 The teacher said, “The one who showed mercy to him.” Jesus said to him, “Go and do the same.”
തതഃ സ വ്യവസ്ഥാപകഃ കഥയാമാസ യസ്തസ്മിൻ ദയാം ചകാര| തദാ യീശുഃ കഥയാമാസ ത്വമപി ഗത്വാ തഥാചര|
38 Now as they were traveling along, he entered into a certain village, and a certain woman named Martha welcomed him into her house.
തതഃ പരം തേ ഗച്ഛന്ത ഏകം ഗ്രാമം പ്രവിവിശുഃ; തദാ മർഥാനാമാ സ്ത്രീ സ്വഗൃഹേ തസ്യാതിഥ്യം ചകാര|
39 She had a sister named Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet and heard his word.
തസ്മാത് മരിയമ് നാമധേയാ തസ്യാ ഭഗിനീ യീശോഃ പദസമീപ ഉവവിശ്യ തസ്യോപദേശകഥാം ശ്രോതുമാരേഭേ|
40 But Martha was overly busy with preparing to serve a meal. She came up to Jesus, and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.”
കിന്തു മർഥാ നാനാപരിചര്യ്യായാം വ്യഗ്രാ ബഭൂവ തസ്മാദ്ധേതോസ്തസ്യ സമീപമാഗത്യ ബഭാഷേ; ഹേ പ്രഭോ മമ ഭഗിനീ കേവലം മമോപരി സർവ്വകർമ്മണാം ഭാരമ് അർപിതവതീ തത്ര ഭവതാ കിഞ്ചിദപി ന മനോ നിധീയതേ കിമ്? മമ സാഹായ്യം കർത്തും ഭവാൻ താമാദിശതു|
41 But the Lord answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious about many things,
തതോ യീശുഃ പ്രത്യുവാച ഹേ മർഥേ ഹേ മർഥേ, ത്വം നാനാകാര്യ്യേഷു ചിന്തിതവതീ വ്യഗ്രാ ചാസി,
42 but only one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen what is best, which will not be taken away from her.”
കിന്തു പ്രയോജനീയമ് ഏകമാത്രമ് ആസ്തേ| അപരഞ്ച യമുത്തമം ഭാഗം കോപി ഹർത്തും ന ശക്നോതി സഏവ മരിയമാ വൃതഃ|
