Jeremiah 44
1 The word came to Jeremiah concerning all the Judeans who lived in the land of Egypt, the ones staying in Migdol, Tahpanhes, Memphis, and in Upper Egypt:
১মিগদোল তহ্পন্হেচত, নোফত আৰু পথ্ৰোচ প্ৰদেশত থকা মিচৰ-দেশনিবাসী সকলো যিহুদীসকলৰ বিষয়ে যিৰিমিয়াৰ ওচৰলৈ অহা বাক্য।
2 “Yahweh of hosts, God of Israel, says, 'You yourselves have seen all the disasters that I brought on Jerusalem and all the cities of Judah. See, they are ruins today. There is no one to live in them.
২ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ঈশ্বৰ বাহিনীসকলৰ যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: ‘যিৰূচালেমলৈ আৰু যিহূদাৰ সকলো নগৰলৈ মই ঘটোৱা সকলো অমঙ্গল তোমালোকে দেখিলা; চোৱা, সেইবোৰ আজি উচ্ছন্ন হোৱা ঠাই, সেইবোৰৰ মাজত কোনেও বাস নকৰে।
3 This is because of the wicked things they did to offend me by going to burn incense and to worship other gods. These were gods that neither they themselves, nor you, nor your ancestors knew.'
৩ধূপ জ্বলাবলৈ আৰু তেওঁলোকে বা তোমালোকে বা তোমালোকৰ পূৰ্বপুৰুষসকলেও নজনা ইতৰ দেৱতাবোৰক সেৱা পূজা কৰিবলৈ যোৱাৰ দ্বাৰাই মোক বেজাৰ দিবলৈ তেওঁলোকে কৰা দুষ্কৰ্মই ইয়াৰ কাৰণ।
4 So I repeatedly sent all of my servants the prophets to them. I sent them to say, 'Stop doing these abominable things that I hate.'
৪তথাপি মই প্ৰভাতে উঠি সকলো দাস ভাববাদীসকলক তোমালোকৰ ওচৰলৈ পঠিয়াই কোৱাইছিলোঁ যে, ‘তোমালোকে মোৰ ঘিণলগীয়া এই গৰ্হিত কাৰ্য নকৰিবা।’
5 But they did not listen. They refused to pay attention or turn from their wickedness in burning incense to other gods.
৫কিন্তু তেওঁলোকে নুশুনিলে; আৰু নিজ নিজ দুষ্টতাৰ পৰা ঘূৰিবলৈ, ইতৰ দেৱতাবোৰৰ উদ্দেশ্যে ধূপ নজ্বলাবলৈ তেওঁলোকে কাণ নাপাতিলে।
6 So my fury and my wrath were poured out and kindled a fire in the cities of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem. So they became ruins and devastations, as at this present day.'
৬এই কাৰণে মোৰ ক্ৰোধ আৰু কোপৰূপ অগ্নি বৰষিলে আৰু যিহূদাৰ নগৰবোৰত, আৰু যিৰূচালেমৰ আলিবোৰত সেয়ে জ্বলি উঠিল; আজি তোমালোকে দেখাৰ দৰে সেইবোৰক উচ্ছন্ন আৰু ধ্বংস কৰা হৈছে।
7 So now Yahweh, the God of hosts and the God of Israel, says this, 'Why are you doing great wickedness against yourselves? Why are you causing yourselves to be cut off from among Judah—men and women, children and babies? No remnant of you will be left.
৭এই হেতুকে এতিয়া ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ঈশ্বৰ বাহিনীসকলৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: তোমালোক উচ্ছন্ন হ’বলৈ আৰু পৃথিৱীৰ সকলো জাতিৰ মাজত অভিশাপ আৰু ধিক্কাৰৰ বিষয় হ’বলৈ, তোমালোকে প্ৰবাস কৰিবলৈ অহা এই মিচৰ দেশত ইতৰ দেৱতাবোৰৰ উদ্দেশ্যে ধূপ জ্বলাই তোমালোকৰ হাতৰ কাৰ্যেৰে মোক বেজাৰ দিলা।
8 By your wickedness you have offended me with the deeds of your hands, by burning incense to other gods in the land of Egypt, where you have gone to live. You have gone there so that you will be destroyed, so that you will be a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth.
৮তোমালোকৰ কোনো অৱশিষ্ট নথকাকৈ, যিহূদাৰ মাজৰ পৰা তোমালোকৰ সম্পৰ্কীয় পুৰুষ, মহিলা, ল’ৰা আৰু পিয়াহ খোৱা কেঁচুৱাক উচ্ছন্ন কৰিবলৈ তোমালোকে কিয় নিজ নিজ প্ৰাণৰ বিৰুদ্ধে এই মহাপাপ কৰিছা?
9 Have you forgotten the wickedness committed by your ancestors and the wickedness committed by the kings of Judah and their wives? Have you forgotten the evil committed by yourselves and your wives in the land of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem?
৯যিহূদা দেশত আৰু যিৰূচালেমৰ আলিত কৰা তোমালোকৰ পূৰ্বপুৰুষসকলৰ যিহূদাৰ ৰজাসকলৰ, তেওঁলোকৰ ভাৰ্য্যাসকল আৰু তোমালোকৰ নিজৰ নিজৰ দুষ্কৰ্ম আৰু তোমালোকৰ ভাৰ্য্যাসকলৰ দুষ্কৰ্ম পাহৰিলা নে?
10 To this day, they still are not humbled. They do not honor my law or decrees that I placed before them and their ancestors, nor do they walk in them.'
১০তেওঁলোকে আজিলৈকে নম্ৰ হোৱা নাই, ভয়ো কৰা নাই আৰু তোমালোকৰ ও তোমালোকৰ পূৰ্বপুৰুষসকলৰ আগত মই স্থাপন কৰা মোৰ ব্যৱস্থা কি বিধিবোৰৰ দৰে চলা নাই।
11 Therefore Yahweh of hosts, God of Israel, says this, 'See, I am about to set my face against you to bring disaster to you and to destroy all of Judah.
১১এই হেতুকে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ঈশ্বৰ বাহিনীসকলৰ যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: “চোৱা, মই অমঙ্গল কৰিবলৈ এনে কি গোটেই যিহূদাক উচ্ছন্ন কৰিবলৈ তোমালোকৰ ফাললৈ মুখ কৰিম।
12 For I will take the remnant of Judah that has set out to go to the land of Egypt to live there. I will do this so that they will all perish in the land of Egypt. They will fall by sword and famine. From the least to the greatest they will perish by sword and famine. They will die and will become an object of swearing, cursing, reproaching, and a horrible thing.
১২আৰু এই মিচৰ দেশত প্ৰবাস কৰিবৰ অৰ্থে ইয়াত সোমাবলৈ মুখ কৰা যিহূদাৰ অৱশিষ্ট ভাগক মই ধৰিম, তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকৰ সকলো উচ্ছন্ন হ’ব; তেওঁলোক এই মিচৰ দেশতেই পতিত হ’ব; তেওঁলোক তৰোৱাল আৰু আকালৰ দ্বাৰাই নষ্ট হ’ব; সৰুৰ পৰা বৰলৈকে তেওঁলোক তৰোৱালত আৰু দুৰ্ভিক্ষত মৰা পৰিব; আৰু তেওঁলোক শাও, বিস্ময়, অভিশাপ, আৰু ধিক্কাৰৰ বিষয় হ’ব।
13 For I will punish the people inhabiting the land of Egypt just as I punished Jerusalem with the sword, with famine, and with the plague,
১৩কিয়নো যেনেকৈ মই তৰোৱাল, আকাল আৰু মহামাৰীৰ দ্বাৰাই যিৰূচালেমক দণ্ড দিলোঁ, তেনেকৈ এই মিচৰ দেশত প্ৰবাস কৰা লোকসকলকো দণ্ড দিম।
14 so that none of the remnant of Judah who have gone to live in the land of Egypt will escape or survive or return to the land of Judah, to which they desire to return and live; and none of them will return except a few who escaped from there.'”
১৪তেতিয়া এই মিচৰ দেশত প্ৰবাস কৰিবলৈ অহা যিহূদাৰ অৱশিষ্ট ভাগে যি যিহূদাত বাস কৰিবৰ কাৰণে উলটি যাবলৈ ইচ্ছা কৰিছে, সেই যিহূদালৈ উলটি যাবৰ বাবে, তেওঁলোকৰ কোনেও ৰক্ষা নাপাব বা অৱশিষ্ট নাথাকিব; কিয়নো পলৰীয়াসকলৰ বাহিৰে কোনেও উলটি নাযাব।”
15 Then all the men who knew that their wives were burning incense to other gods, and all the women who were in the great assembly, and all the people who were living in Lower and Upper Egypt, answered Jeremiah.
১৫তেতিয়া যি সকলো পুৰুষে, তেওঁলোকৰ ভাৰ্য্যাসকলে ইতৰ দেৱতাবোৰৰ উদ্দেশ্যে ধূপ জ্বলাইছে বুলি জানিছিল, তেওঁলোকে আৰু ওচৰত থকা মহিলাসকলৰ মহা সমাজে, অৰ্থাৎ মিচৰ দেশত থকা আটাই লোকসকলে পথ্ৰোচত যিৰিমিয়াক উত্তৰ দিলে।
16 They said, “About the word that you have told us in Yahweh's name—we will not listen to you.
১৬তেওঁলোকে ক’লে, “তুমি যিহোৱাৰ নামেৰে আমাক কোৱা বাক্যৰ বিষয়ে হ’লে, আমি তোমালৈ কাণ নিদিওঁ।
17 For we will certainly do all the things that we said we would do—burn incense to the queen of heaven and pour out drink offerings to her just as we, our ancestors, our kings, and our leaders did in the cities of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem. Then we will be filled with food and will prosper, without experiencing any disaster.
১৭কিন্তু আমি আৰু আমাৰ পূৰ্বপুৰুষসকলে আমাৰ ৰজা আৰু প্ৰধান লোকসকলে যিহূদাৰ নগৰবোৰত আৰু যিৰূচালেমৰ আলিত যেনেকৈ কৰিছিলোঁ, তেনেকৈ আকাশৰ ৰাণীৰ উদ্দেশ্যে ধূপ জ্বলাবলৈ আৰু তেওঁৰ উদ্দেশ্যে পেয় নৈবেদ্য ঢালিবলৈ আমাৰ মুখৰ পৰা ওলোৱা প্ৰত্যেক বাক্য আমি নিশ্চয়ে সিদ্ধ কৰিম; কাৰণ সেই কালত আমাৰ আহাৰ অধিক আছিল আৰু আমি কুশলে আছিলোঁ, কোনো অমঙ্গল নেদেখিছিলোঁ।
18 When we refrained from doing these things, not offering incense to the queen of heaven and not pouring out drink offerings to her, we were all suffering poverty and were dying by sword and famine.”
১৮কিন্তু যেতিয়াৰে পৰা আমি আকাশৰ ৰাণীৰ উদ্দেশ্যে ধূপ জ্বলাবলৈ আৰু পেয় নৈবেদ্য ঢালিবলৈ এৰিলোঁ, তেতিয়াৰে পৰা আমাৰ আটাই বস্তুৰ অভাৱ হ’ল আৰু তৰোৱাল ও দুৰ্ভিক্ষৰ দ্বাৰাই আমাৰ সৰ্ব্বনাশ হ’ল।”
19 The women said, “When we were making incense offerings before the queen of heaven and pouring out drink offerings to her, was it against our husbands that we did these things, making cakes in her image and pouring out drink offerings to her?”
১৯“আমি যেতিয়া আকাশৰ ৰাণীৰ উদ্দেশ্যে ধূপ জ্বলাওঁ আৰু তেওঁৰ উদ্দেশ্যে পেয় নৈবেদ্য ঢালোঁ, তেতিয়া জানো নিজ নিজ স্বামীৰ বিনা অনুমতিৰে তেওঁক সেৱা-পূজা কৰিবৰ অৰ্থে আমি তেওঁৰ উদ্দেশ্যে পিঠা বনাওঁ আৰু তেওঁৰ উদ্দেশ্যে পেয় নৈবেদ্য ঢালোঁ?”
20 Then Jeremiah said to all the people—to the men and women, and all the people who answered him—he proclaimed and said,
২০তেতিয়া যিৰিমিয়াই সকলো লোকসকলক তেওঁক উত্তৰ দিয়া পুৰুষ মহিলা আদি সকলো লোকসকলক এই কথা ক’লে,
21 “Did not Yahweh remember the incense that you burned in the cities of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem—you and your ancestors, your kings and leaders, and the people of the land? For Yahweh calls this to mind; it comes to his thoughts.
২১“যিহূদাৰ নগৰবোৰত আৰু যিৰূচালেমৰ আলিত তোমালোকে, তোমালোকৰ পূৰ্বপুৰুষসকল, তোমালোকৰ ৰজা, তোমালোকৰ প্ৰধান লোকসকল আৰু দেশৰ প্ৰজাসকলে যি ধূপ দাহ কৰিছিল, সেই ধূপ দাহ জানো যিহোৱাই সোঁৱৰণ কৰা নাই? এই সকলো তেওঁৰ মনত আছিল।
22 Then he was no longer able to bear it because of your wicked practices, because of the abominations that you did. Then your land became a desolation, a horror, and a curse so there was no longer an inhabitant as at this present day.
২২এই কাৰণে যিহোৱাই তোমালোকৰ দুষ্কৰ্মৰ কাৰণে আৰু তোমালোকে কৰা ঘিণলগীয়া কাৰ্যৰ বাবে আৰু সহি থাকিব নোৱাৰিলে; এই হেতুকে তোমালোকে আজি দেখাৰ দৰে তোমালোকৰ দেশ-নিবাসীশূণ্য হৈ, ধ্বংসস্থান আৰু বিস্ময় ও শাওৰ বিষয় হ’ল।
23 Because you burned incense and sinned against Yahweh, and because you would not listen to his voice, his law, his statutes, or his covenant decrees, this disaster against you has happened as at this present day.”
২৩তোমালোকে ধূপ জ্বলালা, যিহোৱাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে পাপ কৰিলা, যিহোৱাৰ বাক্যলৈ কাণ নিদিলা, তেওঁৰ ব্যৱস্থা, বিধি, কি সাক্ষ্য অনুসাৰে নচলিলা; এই কাৰণে আজি দেখাৰ দৰে তোমালোকলৈ এই অমঙ্গল ঘটিল।”
24 Then Jeremiah said to all the people and all the women, “Hear the word of Yahweh, all of Judah who are in the land of Egypt.
২৪তেতিয়া তাত বাজে যিৰিমিয়াই সকলো লোকসকলক আৰু সকলো মহিলাক ক’লে, “হে মিচৰ দেশত থকা আটাই যিহূদী লোকসকল, যিহোৱাৰ বাক্য শুনা।
25 Yahweh of hosts, God of Israel, says this, 'You and your wives both have said with your mouths and carried out with your hands what you said, “We will certainly carry out the vows that we made to worship the queen of heaven, to pour out drink offerings to her.” Now fulfill your vows; carry them out.'
২৫ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ঈশ্বৰ বাহিনীসকলৰ যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: “আমি আকাশৰ ৰাণীৰ উদ্দেশ্যে ধূপ জ্বলাবলৈ আৰু তেওঁৰ উদ্দেশ্যে পেয় নৈবেদ্য ঢালিবলৈ আমি কৰা সঙ্কল্পবোৰ অৱেশ্যে সিদ্ধ কৰিম, এই বুলি কৈ তোমালোকে আৰু তোমালোকৰ মহিলাসকলে মুখেৰে কথা ক’লা আৰু হাতেৰে তাক সিদ্ধও কৰিছা; বাৰু তোমালোকৰ সঙ্কল্প সিদ্ধ কৰা আৰু তোমালোকে তোমালোকৰ সঙ্কল্প সাম্ফল কৰা।
26 So then, hear the word of Yahweh, all of Judah who are staying in the land of Egypt, 'See, I have sworn by my great name—says Yahweh. My name will no longer be called upon by the mouths of any of the men of Judah in all the land of Egypt, you who now say, “As the Lord Yahweh lives.”
২৬এই হেতুকে হে মিচৰৰ দেশত থকা আটাই যিহূদী লোকসকল, যিহোৱাৰ বাক্য শুনা: যিহোৱাই কৈছে, ‘চোৱা, মই মোৰ মহান নাম লৈ শপত খাইছোঁ, যে, যিহোৱাৰ জীৱনৰ শপত বুলি কৈ এই গোটেই মিচৰ দেশত কোনো যিহূদী লোকে মোৰ নাম আৰু মুখত নানিবা।”
27 See, I am watching over them for disaster and not for good. Every person of Judah in the land of Egypt will perish by sword and famine until they are all finished.
২৭চোৱা, তেওঁলোকৰ মঙ্গলৰ বাবে নহয়, কিন্তু অমঙ্গলৰ বাবেহে মই তেওঁলোকলৈ জাগি থাকিম; আৰু এই মিচৰ দেশত থকা সকলো যিহূদী লোকক তৰোৱাল আৰু আকালৰ দ্বাৰাই নিঃশেষে বিনষ্ট কৰা হ’ব।
28 Then the survivors of the sword will return from the land of Egypt to the land of Judah, only a small number of them. So all the remnant of Judah who went to the land of Egypt to live there will know whose word will stand—mine or theirs.
২৮আৰু তৰোৱালৰ পৰা ৰক্ষা পোৱা অতি কম সংখ্যক লোকে এই মিচৰ দেশৰ পৰা যিহূদা দেশলৈ উলটি যাব; তাতে মোৰ নে তেওঁলোকৰ, কাৰ বাক্য ৰব, এই মিচৰ দেশত প্ৰবাস কৰিবৰ অৰ্থে ইয়াত সোমোৱা সকলো অৱশিষ্ট যিহূদী লোকসকলে তাক জানিব।
29 This will be the sign for you—this is Yahweh's declaration—that I am setting against you in this place, so that you will know that my words will certainly attack you with disaster.'
২৯যিহোৱাই কৈছে, তোমালোকৰ অমঙ্গলৰ কাৰণেহে যে মোৰ বাক্য অৱশ্যে ফলিয়াব, তাক তোমালোকে জানিবৰ বাবে মই যে এই ঠাইত তোমালোকক দণ্ড দিম তাৰ প্ৰমাণৰ অৰ্থে এয়ে তোমালোকলৈ চিন হ’ব।’
30 Yahweh says this, 'Look, I am about to give Pharaoh Hophra king of Egypt into the hand of his enemies and into the hand of those who seek to kill him. It will the same as when I gave Zedekiah king of Judah into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, his enemy who sought his life.'”
৩০যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: ‘চোৱা, মই যেনেকৈ যিহূদাৰ চিদিকিয়া ৰজাক তেওঁৰ প্ৰাণ ল’বলৈ বিচাৰা তেওঁৰ শত্ৰু বাবিলৰ ৰজা নবূখদনেচৰৰ হাতত সমৰ্পণ কৰিছিলোঁ, তেনেকৈ মই মিচৰৰ ৰজা ফৰৌণহফ্ৰাকো তেওঁৰ প্ৰাণ ল’বলৈ বিচাৰা শত্ৰুবোৰৰ হাতত সমৰ্পণ কৰিম’।”
