Hosea 10

1 Israel is a luxuriant vine that produces his fruit. As his fruit increased, the more altars he built. As his land produced more, he improved his pillars.

১ইস্ৰায়েল এক লহপহীয়া দ্ৰাক্ষালতা; তাত প্রচুৰ ফল ধৰে। তাৰ ফল যিমানে বৃদ্ধি পালে, সিমান অধিক বেছি সংখ্যাৰ যজ্ঞবেদী তেওঁ নির্মাণ কৰিলে। তেওঁৰ দেশৰ যিমানে উন্নতি হ’ল, তেওঁ নিজৰ পবিত্র স্তম্ভবোৰ সুন্দৰভাৱে সাজিলে।

2 Their heart is deceitful; now they must bear their guilt. Yahweh will demolish their altars; he will destroy their pillars.

২তাৰ লোকসকলৰ অন্তৰ প্রৱঞ্চনাপূর্ণ; সেয়ে এতিয়া তেওঁলোকে নিজৰ দোষৰ বোজা বব লাগিব। যিহোৱাই তেওঁলোকৰ যজ্ঞবেদীবোৰ ভাঙি পেলাব, তেওঁলোকৰ স্তম্ভবোৰ নষ্ট কৰি দিব।

3 For then they will say, “We have no king, for we did not fear Yahweh, and a king—what could he do for us?”

৩তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে অৱশ্যেই ক’ব, “আমি যিহোৱাক ভয় নকৰাৰ কাৰণে আমাৰ কোনো ৰজা নাই; কিন্তু ৰজা থাকিলেও, তেওঁ আমাৰ কাৰণে কি কৰিব পাৰিলেহেঁতেন?”

4 They speak empty words and make covenants by swearing falsely. So justice springs up like poisonous weeds in the furrows of a field.

৪তেওঁলোকে অনেক অনৰ্থক কথা কয়, নিয়ম স্থাপন কৰাৰ সময়ত মিছা শপত খায়; সেয়ে পথাৰৰ মাটিত বিহ গছ গজাৰ নিচিনাকৈ বিচাৰ গজি উঠিছে।

5 The inhabitants of Samaria will be afraid because of the calves of Beth Aven. Its people mourned over them, as did those idolatrous priests who had rejoiced over them and their splendor, but they are no longer there.

৫চমৰিয়াত বসবাস কৰা লোকসকলে বৈৎ-আবনৰ দামুৰি-মূর্তিৰ কাৰণে ভয়তে কঁপিছে; সেয়ে তাৰ লোকসকলে শোক কৰিব, সেইদৰে, সেই মূর্তিপূজাত আনন্দিত হোৱা পুৰোহিতসকলেও বিলাপ কৰিব; কাৰণ সেই মূর্তিৰ গৌৰৱ এতিয়া তেওঁলোকৰ ওচৰৰ পৰা দূৰ কৰা হৈছে।

6 They will be carried to Assyria as a present for the great king. Ephraim will be disgraced, and Israel will be ashamed of its idol.

৬সেইটো অচূৰীয়ালৈ লৈ যোৱা হ’ব, আৰু মহাৰাজৰ উপহাৰস্বৰূপে তাক দিয়া হ’ব। ইফ্ৰয়িমে লাজ পাব, ইস্ৰায়েলে কাঠৰ মূর্তিক অনুসৰণ কৰাৰ কাৰণে লজ্জিত হ’ব।

7 Samaria's king will be destroyed, like a chip of wood on the surface of the water.

৭পানীয়ে যেনেকৈ কাঠৰ সৰু টুকুৰা উটুৱাই লৈ যায়, চমৰিয়াৰ ৰজাৰ বিনাশ তেনেদৰে হ’ব।

8 The high places of wickedness will be destroyed. This is the sin of Israel! Thorns and thistles will grow over their altars. The people will say to the mountains, “Cover us!” and to the hills, “Fall on us!”

৮বৈৎ-আবনৰ পূজাৰ ওখ ঠাইৰ মঠবোৰ অর্থাৎ ইস্ৰায়েলৰ পাপময় ঠাইবোৰ ধ্বংস হ’ব। কাঁইটীয়া বন আৰু গছবোৰ গজি উঠি সেইবোৰৰ যজ্ঞবেদীবোৰ ঢাকি পেলাব; তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে পৰ্ব্বতবোৰক ক’ব, “আমাক ঢাকি পেলোৱা!” সৰু সৰু পাহাৰবোৰক ক’ব, “আমাৰ ওপৰত পৰা!”

9 “Israel, you have sinned since the days of Gibeah; there you have remained. Will not war overtake the sons of wrong in Gibeah?

৯যিহোৱাই কৈছে, “হে ইস্ৰায়েল, গিবিয়াত থকা দিনৰে পৰা তুমি পাপ কৰি আহিছা; পাপৰ মাজতেই তোমালোক থাকি গ’লা; গিবিয়াত যুদ্ধই জানো অধর্মচাৰীবোৰক লগ নাপাব?

10 When I desire it, I will discipline them. The nations will gather together against them and put them in bonds for their double iniquity.

১০যেতিয়াই মোৰ ইচ্ছা হয়, তেতিয়াই মই উচ্ছৃঙ্খল লোকসকলক শাস্তি দিবলৈ আহিম; তেওঁলোকৰ দুটা পাপৰ কাৰণে তেওঁলোকক শাস্তি দিবলৈ তেওঁলোকৰ অহিতে বিভিন্ন জাতিবোৰক একত্রিত কৰা হব।

11 Ephraim is a trained heifer that loves to thresh the grain, so I will put a yoke on her fair neck. I will put a yoke on Ephraim; Judah will plow; Jacob will pull the harrow by himself.

১১ইফ্ৰয়িম এক শিক্ষা পোৱা চেঁউৰী গৰু, যি শস্য মৰণা মাৰিবলৈ ভাল পায়। মই তাইৰ সুন্দৰ ডিঙিত যুঁৱলি দিম, মই ইফ্ৰয়িমৰ ওপৰত এক যুঁৱলি দিম; যিহূদাই নাঙল টানিব, যাকোবে নিজৰ কাৰণে মৈ টানিব।”

12 Sow righteousness for yourselves, and reap the fruit of covenant faithfulness. Break up your unplowed ground, for it is time to seek Yahweh, until he comes and rains righteousness on you.

১২তোমালোকে নিজৰ কাৰণে ধাৰ্মিকতাৰ কঠীয়া সিচাঁ, প্রেমৰ শস্য দোৱা, পতিত ভূমি চহোৱা; যিহোৱাক বিচাৰিবৰ সময় হৈছে। যেতিয়া তোমালোকে তেনে কৰিবা, তেতিয়া যিহোৱাই আহি তোমালোকৰ ওপৰত ধাৰ্মিকতাৰূপ বৃষ্টি বৰষাব।

13 You have plowed wickedness; you reaped injustice. You have eaten the fruit of deception because you trusted in your plans and in your many soldiers.

১৩কিন্তু তোমালোকে দুষ্টতাৰ ভূমি চহালা, অন্যায়ৰ শস্য চপালা, ছলনাৰ ফল ভোগ কৰিলা; তোমালোকে নিজৰ শক্তি আৰু অনেক সৈন্যবোৰৰ ওপৰত ভাৰসা কৰিছা।

14 So a tumult of war will rise among your people, and all your fortified cities will be destroyed. It will be as Shalman destroyed Beth Arbel on a day of battle, when mothers were dashed to pieces with their children.

১৪সেই কাৰণে তোমাৰ লোকসকলৰ মাজত যুদ্ধৰ কোলাহল উঠিব, তোমালোকৰ সকলো দুর্গবোৰ বিনষ্ট হ’ব। যেনেকৈ চলমনে যুদ্ধৰ দিনা বৈৎ-অৰ্বেলক ধ্বংস কৰিছিল। সেই সময়ত ল’ৰা-ছোৱালীবোৰৰ সৈতে মাকসকলক আছাৰি ছিৰা-ছিৰ কৰা হৈছিল।

15 So it will happen to you, Bethel, because of your great wickedness. At daybreak the king of Israel will be completely cut off.”

১৫হে বৈৎএল, তোমালোকলৈকো তেনেদৰে ঘটিব। কাৰণ তোমাৰ দুষ্টতা অতি বেছি। ৰাতিপুৱা হ’লে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাক সম্পূর্ণকৈ ধ্বংস কৰা হ’ব।
