Deuteronomy 6
1 Now these are the commandments, statutes, and decrees that Yahweh your God has commanded me to teach you, so that you might keep them in the land that you are going over the Jordan to possess;
১আপোনালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই এইবোৰ আজ্ঞা, নিয়ম আৰু ব্যৱস্থা আপোনালোকক শিকাবৰ কাৰণে মোক নির্দেশ দিলে যাতে যর্দন নদী পাৰ হৈ যি দেশ আপোনালোকে অধিকাৰ কৰিবলৈ গৈ আছে, সেই দেশত আপোনালোকে সেইবোৰ পালন কৰি চলিব।
2 so that you might honor Yahweh your God, so as to keep all his statutes and commandments that I am commanding you—you, your sons, and your sons' sons, all the days of your lives, so that your days may be prolonged.
২আপোনালোকে, আপোনালোকৰ ল’ৰা-ছোৱালী আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ বংশধৰসকলে যেন আপোনালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱালৈ ভয় ৰাখি মই দিয়া সকলো নিয়ম আৰু আজ্ঞাবোৰ গোটেই জীৱন কালত পালন কৰে আৰু তাৰ ফলত আপোনালোকৰ আয়ুস যেন দীঘল হয়।
3 Therefore listen to them, Israel, and keep them, so that it may go well with you, so that you may greatly multiply, in a land flowing with milk and honey, as Yahweh, the God of your fathers, has promised you would do.
৩সেয়ে, হে ইস্ৰায়েলীয়াসকল, মনোযোগেৰে শুনক আৰু সেইবোৰ মানি চলক। আপোনালোকৰ পূর্ব-পুৰুষসকলৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাৰ শপত অনুসাৰে গাখীৰ মধু বোৱা দেশত আপোনালোকৰ যেন মঙ্গল হয় আৰু আপোনালোক যেন বহুবংশ হয়।
4 Listen, Israel: Yahweh our God is one.
৪হে ইস্ৰায়েলীয়াসকল, শুনক আমাৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱা এজনেই;
5 You will love Yahweh your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might.
৫আপোনালোক সকলোৱেই আপোনাৰ সকলো মন, সকলো প্ৰাণ, আৰু সকলো শক্তিৰে সৈতে নিজ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাক প্ৰেম কৰক।
6 The words that I am commanding you today will be in your heart;
৬আজি মই আপোনালোকক দিয়া আজ্ঞাৰ সকলো কথা আপোনালোকৰ হৃদয়ত ৰাখিব লাগে।
7 and you will diligently teach them to your children; you will talk about them when you sit in your house, when you walk on the road, when you lie down, and when you get up.
৭আপোনালোকে নিজৰ সন্তান সকলক যত্নেৰে সেইবোৰ শিকাব; আপুনি ঘৰত বহোঁতে বা বাটত যাওঁতে, আৰু শোওঁতে বা উঠোতে, সেইবোৰৰ বিষয়ে কথা-বতৰা হ’ব।
8 You will tie them as a sign upon your hand, and they will serve as frontlets between your eyes.
৮আপোনাৰ হাতত চিনস্বৰূপে সেইবোৰ বান্ধিব, আৰু সেইবোৰ আপোনাৰ দুই চকুৰ মাজত ভুষণস্বৰূপ হ’ব লাগে।
9 You will write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
৯আপোনাৰ ঘৰৰ দুৱাৰৰ খুটাত আৰু বাহিৰৰ দুৱাৰত সেইবোৰ লিখি ৰাখিব।
10 When Yahweh your God brings you into the land that he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, that he would give you, with large and very good cities that you did not build,
১০আপোনালোকৰ পূর্ব–পুৰুষ অব্ৰাহাম, ইচহাক আৰু যাকোবৰ আগত ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই আপোনালোকক যি দেশ দিবলৈ শপত কৰিছিল, সেই দেশলৈ তেওঁ আপোনালোকক লৈ যাব; সেই ঠাইত এনে ডাঙৰ আৰু সুন্দৰ নগৰবোৰ আছে, যাক আপোনালোকে সজা নাই।
11 and houses full of all kinds of good things that you did not make, cisterns that you did not dig, and vineyards and olive trees that you did not plant, you will eat and be satisfied—
১১এনে ধৰণৰ সকলো উত্তম দ্রব্যৰে ঘৰবোৰ পূর্ণ হৈ আছে, যিহক আপোনালোকে ভৰোৱা নাই; এনে নাদ আছে, যিহক আপোনালোকে খনা নাই; এনে দ্ৰাক্ষাবাৰী জিতগছবোৰ আছে, যিহক আপোনালোকে ৰোৱা নাই; তাত এই সকলো খাই তৃপ্ত হ’ব।
12 then be careful so that you do not forget Yahweh, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
১২কিন্তু সাৱধান হ’ব, আপোনালোকে যিহোৱাক যেন পাহৰি নাযায়, যি জনে আপোনালোকক মিচৰ দেশৰ দাসত্বৰ বন্ধনগৃহৰ পৰা বাহিৰ কৰি আনিলে।
13 You will honor Yahweh your God; him you will worship, and you will swear by his name.
১৩আপোনালোকে নিজ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাক ভয় কৰিব, কেৱল তেওঁৰেই আৰাধনা কৰিব, আৰু তেওঁৰ নামেৰেই শপত খাব।
14 You will not go after other gods, the gods of the peoples who are all around you—
১৪আপোনালোকে, আপোনালোকৰ চাৰিওফালে থকা জাতিবোৰৰ দেৱতাবোৰৰ পাছত নচলিব;
15 for Yahweh your God in the midst of you is a jealous God—if you do, the anger of Yahweh your God will be kindled against you and he will destroy you from the surface of the earth.
১৫কিয়নো, আপোনালোকৰ মাজত থকা আপোনালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱা নিজৰ মৰ্য্যদা ৰখাত উদ্যোগী; আপোনালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাৰ ক্ৰোধ আপোনালোকৰ বিৰুদ্ধে জ্বলি উঠিব, তাতে তেওঁ পৃথিবীৰ পৰা আপোনালোকক উচ্ছন্ন কৰিব।
16 You will not test Yahweh your God as you tested him at Massah.
১৬আপোনালোকে মচ্ছাত যেনেকৈ নিজ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাক পৰীক্ষা কৰিছিল, তেনেকৈ তেওঁক পৰীক্ষা নকৰিব।
17 You will diligently keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, his solemn commands, and his statutes, that he has commanded you.
১৭আপোনালোকে নিজ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই আদেশ কৰা আজ্ঞা, শাসন-প্রণালী আৰু নিয়মবোৰ অৱশ্যেই যত্নেৰে পালন কৰিব লাগিব।
18 You will do what is right and good in the sight of Yahweh, that it may go well with you, and that you may go in and possess the good land that Yahweh swore to your fathers,
১৮ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাৰ দৃষ্টিত যি যি ন্যায় আৰু সজ কাম আপোনালোকে তাকে কৰিব, তেহে আপোনালোকৰ মঙ্গল হ’ব আৰু যিহোৱাই যি দেশ দিম বুলি আপোনালোকৰ পূর্ব-পুৰুষসকলক শপত কৰিছিল, আপোনালোকে সেই উত্তম দেশ অধিকাৰ কৰিব;
19 to drive out all your enemies from before you, as Yahweh has said.
১৯যিহোৱাৰ বাক্য অনুসাৰে আপোনালোকৰ আগৰ পৰা আপোনালোকৰ সকলো শত্রুক আপোনালোকে দূৰ কৰিব পাৰিব।
20 When your son asks you in time to come, saying, 'What are the covenant decrees, the statutes, and the other decrees that Yahweh our God commanded you?'
২০ভৱিষ্যতে যেতিয়া আপোনালোকৰ সন্তানে সুধিব, যে, “আমাৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই দিয়া আজ্ঞা, বিধি আৰু শাসন-প্ৰণালীবোৰৰ অৰ্থ কি?”
21 then you will say to your son, 'We were Pharaoh's slaves in Egypt; Yahweh brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand,
২১তেতিয়া আপোনালোকে নিজ সন্তানক ক’ব, “আমি মিচৰ দেশত ফৰৌণৰ দাস আছিলোঁ; পাছত ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই ক্ষমতাশালী হাতেৰে মিচৰৰ পৰা আমাক উলিয়াই আনিলে।
22 and he displayed signs and wonders, great and severe, on Egypt, on Pharaoh, and on all his house, before our eyes;
২২ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই আমাৰ চকুৰ সন্মুখতে মিচৰলৈ, ফৰৌণ আৰু তেওঁৰ বংশলৈ, মহৎ আৰু ভয়ঙ্কৰ ক্লেশযুক্ত চিন আৰু অদ্ভুত লক্ষণ দেখুৱালে।
23 and he brought us out from there, so that he might bring us in, to give us the land that he swore to our fathers.
২৩সেই ঠাইৰ পৰা তেওঁ আমাক বাহিৰ কৰি আনিলে যাতে যি দেশ দিম বুলি তেওঁ আমাৰ পূর্ব-পুৰুষসকলৰ আগত শপত কৰিছিল, সেই দেশলৈ আনি তাক আমাক দিব পাৰে।
24 Yahweh commanded us to always keep all these statutes, to fear Yahweh our God for our good, so that he might keep us alive, as we are today.
২৪আজিৰ দৰে সদায় আমাৰ মঙ্গল হবলৈ আৰু আমাক জীয়াই ৰাখিবলৈ যিহোৱাই আমাক এই সকলো নিয়ম পালন কৰিবলৈ আৰু তেওঁক ভয় কৰি চলিবলৈ আজ্ঞা দিছে।
25 If we keep all these commands before Yahweh our God, as he has commanded us, this will be our righteousness.'
২৫আমি যদি নিজ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই আদেশ কৰা আজ্ঞাৰ দৰে তেওঁলৈ ভয় ৰাখি এই সকলো পালন কৰি সেই মতে কাৰ্য কৰোঁ, তেন্তে সেয়ে হ’ব আমাৰ ধাৰ্মিকতা।”
