2 Samuel 1
1 After the death of Saul, David returned from attacking the Amalekites and remained in Ziklag for two days.
১চৌলৰ মৃত্যুৰ পাছত, দায়ূদে অমালেকীয়া সকলক বধ কৰি ঘূৰি আহিল আৰু চিক্লগত দুদিন থাকিল।
2 On the third day, a man came from Saul's camp with his clothes torn and with dirt on his head. When he came to David he lay facedown on the ground and prostrated himself.
২পাছত তৃতীয় দিনত, চৌলৰ সেনাবাহিনীৰ ছাউনিৰ পৰা ফলা কাপোৰেৰে সৈতে এজন মানুহ আহিল; তেওঁৰ মুৰত মাটি লাগি আছিল। তেওঁ দায়ূদৰ ওচৰলৈ আহি শিৰনত হৈ প্রণাম কৰিলে।
3 David said to him, “Where did you come from?” He answered, “I escaped from the camp of Israel.”
৩তেতিয়া দায়ূদে তেওঁক সুধিলে, “তুমি ক’ৰ পৰা আহিছা?” তেওঁ উত্তৰ দি ক’লে, “মই ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সেনা ছাউনিৰ পৰা পলাই আহিছোঁ।”
4 David said to him, “Please tell me how things went.” He answered, “The people fled from the battle. Many have fallen and many are dead. Saul and Jonathan his son are also dead.”
৪দায়ূদে তেওঁক সুধিলে, “তাত কি হ’ল, সেই বিষয়ে মোক কোৱাচোন।” তেওঁ ক’লে, “লোকসকল যুদ্ধৰ পৰা পলাল, অনেক পতিত হ’ল। লোকসকলৰ মাজত অনেক লোক মৰিল। চৌল আৰু তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰ যোনাথনৰো মৃত্যু হ’ল।”
5 David said to the young man, “How do you know that Saul and Jonathan his son are dead?”
৫তেতিয়া দায়ূদে সেই সম্বাদ দিয়া ডেকা লোক জনক সুধিলে, “চৌল আৰু তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰ যোনাথনৰ যে মৃত্যু হ’ল, সেই বিষয়ে তুমি কেনেকৈ জানিলা?”
6 The young man replied, “By chance I happened to be on Mount Gilboa, and there Saul was leaning on his spear, and chariots and riders were about to catch up with him.
৬তেতিয়া সেই ডেকা লোক জনে ক’লে, “ঘটনাক্ৰমে মই গিলবোৱা পৰ্ব্বতত আছিলোঁ আৰু তাতে চৌলে বৰছাৰ ওপৰত ভৰ দি আছিল আৰু ৰথ ও অশ্বাৰোহীসকলে তেওঁৰ পাছে পাছে বৰকৈ খেদি খেদি প্রায় তেওঁৰ ওচৰ চাপি আহিছিল।
7 Saul turned around and saw me and called out to me. I answered, 'Here I am.'
৭তেতিয়া তেওঁ ঘূৰি মোক দেখি মাতিলে। তেতিয়া মই উত্তৰ দি ক’লো, “মই ইয়াত আছোঁ৷”
8 He said to me, 'Who are you?' I answered him, 'I am an Amalekite.'
৮তেওঁ মোক সুধিলে, “তুমি কোন?” মই তেওঁক ক’লো, “মই এজন অমালেকীয়া লোক।”
9 He said to me, 'Please stand over me and kill me, for great suffering has taken hold of me, but life is still in me.'
৯তেতিয়া তেওঁ মোক ক’লে, “মই বিনয় কৰোঁ, তুমি মোৰ ওচৰত থিয় হৈ মোক বধ কৰা কাৰণ মোক শিৰামূৰিয়ে ধৰিছে, যদিও মোত এতিয়াও প্ৰাণ আছে।”
10 So I stood over him and killed him, because I knew that he would not live after he had fallen. Then I took the crown that was on his head and the band that was on his arm, and brought them here to you, my master.”
১০তেতিয়া মই গৈ তেওঁৰ ওচৰত থিয় হৈ তেওঁক বধ কৰিলোঁ; কিয়নো তেওঁ পৰাজিত হোৱাৰ পাছত যে পুনৰ তেওঁ আৰু জীয়াই নাথাকিব, সেই বিষয়ে মই নিশ্চয়ে জানিছিলোঁ৷ এতিয়া মই তেওঁৰ মূৰৰ কিৰীটি আৰু বাহুৰ বাজু লৈ, এই ঠাইত মোৰ প্ৰভুৰ ওচৰলৈ লৈ আহিছোঁ।”
11 Then David tore his clothes, and all the men with him did the same.
১১তেতিয়া দায়ূদে নিজ কাপোৰ ধৰি ফালিলে আৰু তেওঁৰ লগৰ আটাই লোকসকলেও সেই দৰে কৰিলে।
12 They mourned, wept, and fasted until evening for Saul, for Jonathan his son, for the people of Yahweh, and for the house of Israel because they had fallen by the sword.
১২চৌল, তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰ যোনাথন আৰু যিহোৱাৰ প্ৰজা ইস্ৰায়েল বংশ তৰোৱালত পতিত হোৱাৰ বাবে তেওঁলোকে শোক কৰি কৰি কান্দিলে আৰু সন্ধ্যালৈকে লঘোনে থাকিল।
13 David said to the young man, “Where are you from?” He answered, “I am the son of a foreigner in the land, an Amalekite.”
১৩পাছত দায়ূদে সেই বাতৰি অনা ডেকা মানুহজনক ক’লে, “তুমি ক’ৰ মানুহ?” তেওঁ উত্তৰ দি ক’লে, “মই এজন প্রবাসী অমালেকীয়া মানুহ।”
14 David said to him, “Why were you not afraid to kill Yahweh's anointed king with your own hand?”
১৪দায়ূদে তেওঁক ক’লে, “তুমি যিহোৱাৰ অভিষিক্তজনক বধ কৰিবৰ অৰ্থে নিজ হাত মেলিবলৈ ভয় নকৰিলা, ই কেনে কথা?”
15 David called one of the young men and said, “Go and kill him.” So that man went and struck him down, and the Amalekite died.
১৫দায়ূদে ডেকাসকলৰ মাজৰ এজনক মাতি এই আজ্ঞা দি ক’লে, “তুমি ওচৰলৈ গৈ তেওঁক বধ কৰা।” গতিকে সেই লোকজনে গৈ তেওঁক প্ৰহাৰ কৰি আঘাত কৰিলে৷ তাতে সেই অমালেকীয়াজনৰ মৃত্যু হ’ল।
16 Then David said to the dead Amalekite, “Your blood is on your head because your own mouth has testified against you and said, 'I have killed Yahweh's anointed king.'”
১৬তেতিয়া দায়ূদে সেই মৃত অমালেকীয়াজনক ক’লে, “তোমাৰ ৰক্তপাতৰ দোষ তোমাৰ নিজ মূৰতেই থাকক; কিয়নো, ‘ময়েই যিহোৱাৰ অভিষিক্ত জনক বধ কৰিলোঁ’ এইবুলি তোমাৰ নিজ মুখেৰেই নিজৰ বিৰুদ্ধে সাক্ষ্য দিলা।”
17 Then David sung this funeral song about Saul and Jonathan his son.
১৭তেতিয়া দায়ূদে চৌল আৰু তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰ যোনাথন, এই মৃতকেইজনৰ বিষয়ে বিলাপেৰে গীত গালে।
18 He commanded the people to teach this Song of the Bow to the sons of Judah, which has been written in the Book of Jashar.
১৮তেওঁ যিহূদাৰ সন্তান সকলক এই ধনুগীত শিকাবলৈ দিলে; চোৱা, যি গীত যাচেৰ পুস্তকখনিত লিখা আছে।
19 “Your glory, Israel, is dead, killed on your high places! How the mighty have fallen!
১৯হে ইস্ৰায়েল, তোমাৰ উচ্চস্থানবোৰত ৰত্ন দুটি বধ কৰা হ’ল! হায় হায়, বীৰসকল কেনেকৈ পতিত হ’ল!
20 Do not tell it in Gath, do not proclaim it in the streets of Ashkelon, so that the daughters of the Philistines may not rejoice, so that the daughters of the uncircumcised may not celebrate.
২০গাত’ত এই বিষয় প্ৰকাশ নকৰিবা, অস্কিলোনৰ বাটত এই বিষয় প্ৰচাৰ নকৰিবা; কৰিলে পলেষ্টীয়াসকলৰ জীয়ৰীসকলে আনন্দ কৰিব, অচুন্নৎসকলৰ জীয়ৰীসকলে উল্লাস কৰিব।
21 Mountains of Gilboa, let there not be dew or rain on you, nor fields giving grain for offerings, for there the shield of the mighty was defiled. The shield of Saul is no longer anointed with oil.
২১হে গিলবোৱা পৰ্ব্বত, তোমাৰ ওপৰত নিয়ৰ বা বৰষুণ নহওক, বা উত্তোলনীয় নৈবেদ্যৰ পথাৰ নহওঁক, কিয়নো সেই ঠাইত বীৰসকলৰ ঢাল পেলোৱা হ’ল। তেলেৰে অভিষিক্ত নোহোৱা চৌলৰ ঢাল পেলোৱা হ’ল৷
22 From the blood of those who have been killed, from the bodies of the mighty, the bow of Jonathan did not turn back, and the sword of Saul did not return empty.
২২হত হোৱা লোকসকলৰ তেজ আৰু বীৰসকলৰ দেহৰ পৰা যোনাথনৰ ধনু বিমুখ নহৈছিল, চৌলৰ তৰোৱালো শুদাই ঘূৰি নাহিছিল।
23 Saul and Jonathan were loved and gracious in life, and in their death they were not separated. They were swifter than eagles, they were stronger than lions.
২৩চৌল আৰু যোনাথন, জীৱন কালত প্ৰিয় আৰু সন্তোষজনক আছিল, আৰু মৰণৰ কালতো তেওঁলোক পৃথক নহ’ল; তেওঁলোক ঈগল পক্ষীতকৈয়ো বেগী আছিল, তেওঁলোক সিংহতকৈয়ো বলৱান আছিল।
24 You daughters of Israel, weep over Saul, who clothed you in scarlet as well as jewels, and who put ornaments of gold on your clothing.
২৪হে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ জীয়ৰীসকল, চৌলৰ বাবে ক্ৰন্দন কৰা, তেওঁ তোমালোকক ৰঙা বৰণীয়া বস্ত্ৰ পিন্ধাই ভূষিত কৰিছিল, তেওঁ তোমালোকৰ বস্ত্ৰৰ ওপৰত সোণৰ অলঙ্কাৰ পিন্ধাইছিল।
25 How the mighty have fallen in the midst of the battle! Jonathan is killed on your high places.
২৫হায় হায়, যুদ্ধৰ মাজত বীৰসকল কেনেকৈ পতিত হ’ল! তোমাৰ উচ্চ স্থানবোৰত যোনাথন হত হ’ল৷
26 I am distressed for you, my brother Jonathan. You were very dear to me. Your love to me was wonderful, exceeding the love of women.
২৬হে মোৰ ভাই যোনাথন, তোমাৰ বাবে মই দুখিত হৈছোঁ৷ তুমি মোলৈ অতি মৰমীয়াল আছিলা৷ নাৰীসকলৰ প্ৰেমতকৈয়ো তোমাৰ প্ৰেম মোৰ পক্ষে চমৎকাৰ আছিল।
27 How the mighty have fallen, and the weapons of war perished!”
২৭হায় হায়, বীৰসকল কেনেকৈ পতিত হ’ল আৰু যুদ্ধৰ অস্ত্ৰবোৰ যুদ্ধক্ষেত্ৰত নষ্ট হ’ল!”
