2 Kings 9
1 Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets and said to him, “Dress for travel, then take this little bottle of oil in your hand and go to Ramoth Gilead.
১ইলীচা ভাৱবাদীয়ে শিষ্য ভাববাদীসকলৰ মাজৰ এজনক মাতি ক’লে, “যাত্রাৰ বাবে সাজু হোৱা আৰু ৰামোৎ-গিলিয়দলৈ যোৱা। তেলৰ এই সৰু বটলটো তোমাৰ লগত লোৱা।”
2 When you arrive, look for Jehu son of Jehoshaphat son of Nimshi, and go in and make him arise up from among his companions, and conduct him to an inner chamber.
২সেই ঠাই পালে তুমি নিমচীৰ নাতি অর্থাৎ যিহোচাফটৰ পুত্ৰ যেহূক বিচাৰিবা; তেওঁৰ ওচৰলৈ গৈ তেওঁক তেওঁৰ সঙ্গীসকলৰ মাজৰ পৰা আঁতৰাই এটা ভিতৰৰ কোঁঠালিলৈ লৈ যাবা।
3 Then take the bottle of oil and pour it on his head and say, 'Yahweh says this: “I have anointed you king over Israel.”' Then open the door, and run off; do not delay.”
৩তাৰ পাছত এই বটলটোৰ পৰা অলপমান তেল লৈ তেওঁৰ মূৰত ঢালি দি ক’বা যে, “যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে, ‘ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজা হিচাবে মই তোমাক অভিষেক কৰিলোঁ।’ তাৰ পাছত তুমি দুৱাৰখন মেলি দৌৰ মাৰিবা, পলম নকৰিবা।”
4 So the young man, the young prophet, went to Ramoth Gilead.
৪সেইদৰেই সেই যুৱক ভাববাদীজন ৰামোৎ-গিলিয়দলৈ গ’ল।
5 When he arrived, behold, the captains of the army were sitting. So the young prophet said, “I have come on an errand to you, captain.” Jehu replied, “To which of us?” The young prophet answered, “To you, captain.”
৫সেই ঠাই পাই তেওঁ দেখিলে সেনাবাহিনীৰ সেনাপতিসকল এঠাইত বহি আছে। যুৱক ভাৱবাদীজনে ক’লে, “সেনাপতি মহাশয়, মই আপোনাৰ বাবে এটা খবৰ লৈ আহিছোঁ।” যেহূৱে উত্তৰ দি সুধিলে, “সেই খবৰ আমাৰ মাজৰ কোনজনৰ কাৰণে?” তেওঁ ক’লে, “সেনাপতি মহাশয়, আপোনাৰ কাৰণেই।”
6 So Jehu arose and went into the house, and the prophet poured the oil on his head and said to Jehu, “Yahweh, the God of Israel, says this: 'I have anointed you king over the people of Yahweh, over Israel.
৬তাতে যেহূ উঠি ঘৰৰ ভিতৰলৈ গ’ল। তেতিয়া সেই ভাৱবাদীয়ে যেহূৰ মূৰত তেল ঢালি দি ক’লে, “ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: ‘যিহোৱাৰ লোকসকলৰ ওপৰত অর্থাৎ ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ওপৰত ৰজা হিচাবে মই তোমাক অভিষেক কৰিলোঁ।
7 You must kill the family of Ahab your master, so that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of Yahweh, who were murdered by the hand of Jezebel.
৭তোমাৰ প্ৰভু আহাবৰ বংশক তুমি বিনষ্ট কৰিবা। ঈজেবলৰ হাতেৰে মোৰ দাসবোৰৰ অর্থাৎ ভাববাদীসকলৰ আৰু যিহোৱাৰ আন সকলো দাসবোৰৰ যি ৰক্তপাত কৰা হ’ল, তাৰ প্ৰতিশোধ মই যেন লব পাৰোঁ।
8 For the whole family of Ahab will perish, and I will cut off from Ahab every male child, whether he is a slave or a free person.
৮আহাবৰ বংশৰ সকলোৱেই বিনষ্ট হ’ব; দাস হওঁক বা স্বাধীন হওঁক, আহাবৰ বংশৰ প্ৰতিজন ল’ৰা শিশুক মই বিনষ্ট কৰিম।
9 I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam son of Nebat and like the house of Baasha son of Ahijah.
৯মই তেওঁৰ বংশক নবাটৰ পুতেক যাৰবিয়ামৰ বংশৰ নিচিনা আৰু অহিয়াৰ পুতেক বাচাৰ বংশৰ নিচিনা কৰিম।
10 The dogs will eat Jezebel in Jezreel, and there will be no one to bury her.'” Then the prophet opened the door and ran off.
১০কুকুৰবোৰে ঈজেবলক যিজ্ৰিয়েলৰ এলেকাত খাই পেলাব আৰু তাইক মৈদাম দিবলৈ কোনো নহ’ব।’” এইবুলি কৈ যুবক ভাৱবাদীজনে দুৱাৰ খুলি দৌৰি পলাল।
11 Then Jehu came out to the servants of his master, and one said to him, “Is everything alright? Why did this mad fellow come to you?” Jehu answered them, “You know the man and the kinds of things he says.”
১১যেহূৱে বাহিৰলৈ আহি যেতিয়া তেওঁৰ সঙ্গী প্ৰভুৰ সেনাপতিসকলৰ ওচৰলৈ গ’ল, তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকৰ এজনে তেওঁক সুধিলে, “সকলো ঠিকেই আছে নে? সেই বলীয়াটো আপোনাৰ ওচৰলৈ কিয় আহিছিল?” যেহূৱে ক’লে, “আপোনালোকেতো সেই মানুহক চিনি পায় আৰু তেওঁ কেনে ধৰণৰ প্রলাপ বকে, তাকো জানে।”
12 They said, “That is a lie. Tell us.” Jehu answered, “He said this and that to me, and he also said, 'This is what Yahweh says: I have anointed you as king over Israel.'”
১২তেওঁলোকে ক’লে, “নহয়, আমি সেইবোৰ একো নাজানো। আমাক সকলো কথা খুলি কওঁক।” যিহূৱে তেতিয়া ক’লে, “তেওঁ মোক এই কথা ক’লে যে, যিহোৱাই এইদৰে কৈছে: “ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ওপৰত ৰজা হিচাবে মই তোমাক অভিষেক কৰিছোঁ।”
13 Then each of them quickly took off his outer garment and put it under Jehu at the top of the steps. They blew the trumpet and said, “Jehu is king.”
১৩তেতিয়া সেই সেনাপতিসকলৰ প্রত্যেকেই লগে লগে নিজৰ গাৰ পৰা ওপৰৰ কাপোৰখন লৈ খটখটিৰ ওপৰত যেহূৰ ভৰিৰ তলত পাৰি দিলে। তাৰ পাছত তেওঁলোকে শিঙা বজাই চিঞঁৰি ক’বলৈ ধৰিলে, “যেহূ ৰজা হ’ল।”
14 In this way Jehu son of Jehoshaphat son of Nimshi conspired against Joram. Now Joram had been defending Ramoth Gilead, he and all Israel, because of Hazael king of Aram,
১৪এইদৰে নিমচীৰ নাতি, অর্থাৎ যিহোচাফটৰ পুত্ৰ যেহূৱে যোৰামৰ বিৰুদ্ধে ষড়যন্ত্র কৰিলে। সেই সময়তে ৰজা যোৰাম আৰু সমগ্র ইস্ৰায়েলবাসীয়ে অৰামৰ ৰজা হজায়েলৰ হাতৰ পৰা ৰামোৎ-গিলিয়দ ৰক্ষা কৰিবলৈ চেষ্টা কৰিছিল।
15 but King Joram had gone back to Jezreel to be healed of the wounds that the Arameans had given him, when he had fought against Hazael king of Aram. Jehu said to the servants of Joram, “If this is your opinion, then let no one escape and go out of the city, in order to go tell this news in Jezreel.”
১৫কিন্তু অৰামৰ ৰজা হজায়েলৰ সৈতে যুদ্ধ কৰাৰ সময়ত অৰামীয়াসকলে যোৰামক যি আঘাত কৰিছিল, তাৰ পৰা সুস্থ হ’বলৈ ৰজা যোৰাম যিজ্ৰিয়েললৈ উভটি আহিছিল। তাৰ পাছত যেহূৱে যোৰামৰ দাস, সঙ্গী সেনাপতি সকলক ক’লে, “আপোনালোকৰো যদি এয়ে মত হয়, তেন্তে যিজ্ৰিয়েলত এই কথা জনাবলৈ কোনো লোকক নগৰৰ পৰা ওলাই যাব নিদিব।”
16 So Jehu rode in a chariot to Jezreel; for Joram was resting there. Now Ahaziah king of Judah had come down to see Joram.
১৬তাৰ পাছত যেহূৱে এখন ৰথত উঠি যিজ্ৰিয়েললৈ গ’ল; কিয়নো সেই ঠাইত যোৰাম শয্যাত পৰি আছিল। সেই সময়ত যিহূদাৰ ৰজা অহজিয়াও যোৰামক চাবৰ কাৰণে তালৈ নামি গৈছিল।
17 The watchman was standing on the tower in Jezreel, and he saw the company of Jehu as he came at a distance; he said, “I see a group of men coming.” Joram said, “Take a horseman, and send him out to meet them; tell him to say, 'Are you coming in peace?'”
১৭যেহূৰ সৈন্য দলক অহা দেখি যিজ্ৰিয়েলৰ ওখ দুৰ্গৰ ওপৰত থিয় হৈ পহৰা দিয়া প্রহৰীজনে চিঞঁৰি উঠিল, “মই এদল মানুহ অহা দেখিছোঁ।” তেতিয়া যোৰামে ক’লে, “এজন অশ্বাৰোহীক তেওঁলোকৰ ওচৰলৈ পঠাই দিয়া আৰু তেওঁ গৈ তেওঁলোকক সুধিবলৈ ক’বা, ‘আপোনালোক শান্তিভাৱেৰে আহিছে নে’?”
18 So a man was sent on horseback to meet him; he said, “The king says this: 'Are coming in peace?'” So Jehu said, “What have you to do with peace? Turn and ride behind me.” Then the watchman told the king, “The messenger has met them, but he is not coming back.”
১৮পাছত সেইদৰে এজন অশ্বাৰোহী যেহূৰ সাক্ষাৎ হ’বলৈ ওলাই গ’ল আৰু তেওঁক ক’লে, “ৰজাই সুধিছে, আপোনালোক শান্তিভাৱেৰে আহিছে নে?” তাতে যেহূৱে ক’লে, “শান্তিৰে অহাটো তোমাক কিয় লাগে? তুমি ঘূৰি মোৰ পাছে পাছে আহাঁ।” সেই প্রহৰীজনে তেতিয়া ৰজাক খবৰ দিলে, “সেই বার্তাবাহকজন গৈ তেওঁলোকৰ ওচৰ পালে, কিন্তু তেওঁ এতিয়ালৈকে উভটি অহা নাই।”
19 Then he sent out a second man on horseback, who came to them and said, “The king says this: 'Are you coming in peace?'” Jehu answered, “What have you to do with peace? Turn and ride behind me.”
১৯তেতিয়া ৰজাই দ্বিতীয় আন এজন অশ্বাৰোহীক পঠালে; তেওঁ সেই সৈন্য দলৰ ওচৰলৈ গৈ ক’লে, “ৰজাই এই কথা কৈছে, ‘আপোনালোক শান্তিভাৱেৰে আহিছে নে’?” যেহূৱে উত্তৰ দি’লে, “শান্তিৰে অহাটো তোমাক কিয় লাগে? তুমি ঘূৰি মোৰ পাছে পাছে আহা।”
20 Again the watchman reported, “He has met them, but he is not coming back. For the way that the chariot is being driven is the way that Jehu son of Nimshi drives; he is driving wildly.”
২০সেই প্রহৰীজনে পুনৰায় খবৰ দিলে, “সেই বার্তাবাহক জনেও গৈ তেওঁলোকক লগ পালে, কিন্তু তেৱোঁতো এতিয়ালৈকে উভটি অহা নাই। ৰথ চলোৱাটো দেখি ভাব হৈছে নিমচীৰ নাতিয়েক যেহূৱে ৰথ চলাইছে। কিয়নো তেওঁ বলিয়াৰ দৰে ৰথ চলাইছে।”
21 So Joram said, “Get my chariot ready.” They prepared his chariot, and Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah rode out, each in his chariot, to meet Jehu. They found him at the property of Naboth the Jezreelite.
২১তেতিয়া যোৰামে ক’লে, “মোৰ ৰথ যুগুত কৰা।” তেওঁলোকে তেওঁৰ ৰথ যুগুত কৰাৰ পাছত ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজা যোৰাম আৰু যিহূদাৰ ৰজা অহজিয়াই নিজৰ নিজৰ ৰথত উঠি যেহূক লগ পাবলৈ ওলাই গ’ল। তেওঁলোকে যেহূক যিজ্ৰিয়েলীয়া নাবোতৰ এলেকাত লগ পালে।
22 When Joram saw Jehu, he said, “Are you coming in peace, Jehu?” He answered, “What peace is there, when the idolatrous acts of prostitution and witchcraft of your mother Jezebel are so many?”
২২যোৰামে যেহূক দেখামাত্ৰকে সুধিলে, “যেহূ, তুমি শান্তিভাৱেৰে আহিছা নে?” তেওঁ ক’লে, “আপোনাৰ মা ঈজেবলৰ ব্যভিচাৰী কার্যৰ প্রতিমাপূজা আৰু মায়াকর্মৰ কাম যেতিয়া ইমান বেছিকৈ হৈছে তেন্তে তাত আৰু কি শান্তি থাকিব পাৰে?”
23 So Joram turned his chariot and fled and said to Ahaziah, “There is treachery, Ahaziah.”
২৩এই কথা শুনি যোৰামে নিজৰ ৰথ ঘূৰাই পলাবলৈ ধৰিলে আৰু অহজিয়াক ক’লে, “অহজিয়া, ই বিশ্বাসঘাতক।”
24 Then Jehu drew his bow with his full strength and shot Joram between his shoulders; the arrow went through his heart, and he sank down in his chariot.
২৪তেতিয়া যেহূৱে নিজৰ সমস্ত বলেৰে সৈতে ধনুৰ জোঁৰ টানি, যোৰামৰ দুই কান্ধৰ মাজত কাঁড়ডাল মাৰি পঠালে। সেই কাঁড় গৈ ৰজা যোৰামৰ হৃদপিণ্ডৰ মাজেদি সৰকি গ’ল আৰু তেওঁ কুঁজা হৈ ৰথতে পৰি গ’ল।
25 Then Jehu said to Bidkar his captain, “Pick him up and throw him in the field of Naboth the Jezreelite. Think about how when you and I rode together after Ahab his father, Yahweh placed this prophecy against him:
২৫তেতিয়া যেহূৱে তেওঁৰ সেনাপতি বিদকৰক ক’লে, “তেওঁক তুলি নি যিজ্ৰিয়েলীয়া নাবোতৰ এলেকাত পেলাই দিয়া। মনত পেলোৱাছোন! মই আৰু তুমি যেতিয়া একেলগে তেওঁৰ পিতৃ আহাবৰ পিছত ৰথেৰে গৈছিলোঁ, তেতিয়া যিহোৱাই আহাবৰ বিৰুদ্ধে এই ভাৱবাণী কৈছিল:
26 'Yesterday I saw the blood of Naboth and the blood of his sons—declares Yahweh—and I will surely make you pay for it on this field—declares Yahweh. Now then, pick him up and throw him on this field, according to the word of Yahweh.”
২৬‘মই যিহোৱাই কৈছো, যোৱাকালি মই নাবোতৰ আৰু তেওঁৰ পুতেকসকলৰ তেজ দেখিলোঁ আৰু এই মাটিতেই মই নিশ্চয়কৈ তোমাক তাৰ প্ৰতিফল দিম।’ এই হেতুকে তুমি এতিয়া যিহোৱাৰ কথা অনুসাৰে তেওঁক তুলি লৈ সেই মাটিত পেলাই দিয়া।”
27 When Ahaziah the king of Judah saw this, he fled up the road to Beth Haggan. But Jehu followed him, and said, “Kill him also in the chariot,” and they shot him at the ascent of Gur, which is by Ibleam. Ahaziah fled to Megiddo and died there.
২৭যি ঘটিল, তাকে দেখি যিহূদাৰ ৰজা অহজিয়াই বৈৎ-হাগগানৰ পথেদি পলাই গ’ল। যেহূৱে তেওঁৰ পাছে পাছে খেদি গৈ চিঞৰিলে, “তেওঁকো ৰথৰ ভিতৰত বধ কৰা।” তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে যিব্লিয়ামৰ ওচৰৰ গূৰলৈ উঠি যোৱা পথত তেওঁক আঘাত কৰিলে। অহজিয়াই মগিদ্দোলৈ পলাই গ’ল আৰু তাতে তেওঁ মৰিল।
28 His servants carried his body in a chariot to Jerusalem and buried him in his tomb with his fathers in the city of David.
২৮তেওঁৰ দাসবোৰে তেওঁক ৰথত তুলি যিৰূচালেমলৈ লৈ গ’ল আৰু দায়ুদৰ নগৰত তেওঁৰ ওপৰ-পিতৃসকলৰ লগত তেওঁৰ মৈদামত তেওঁক মৈদাম দিলে।
29 Now it was in the eleventh year of Joram son of Ahab that Ahaziah had begun to reign over Judah.
২৯আহাবৰ পুত্ৰ যোৰামৰ ৰাজত্ব কালৰ একাদশ বছৰত অহজিয়া যিহূদাৰ ৰজা হৈছিল।
30 When Jehu came to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it, and she painted her eyes, arranged her hair, and looked out the window.
৩০তাৰ পাছত যেহূ যিজ্ৰিয়েললৈ গ’ল। ঈজেবলে এই বাতৰি পাই চকুত কাজল লগালে আৰু কেশ-বিন্যাসেৰে নিজক শোভিত কৰি খিড়িকিয়েদি চালে।
31 As Jehu was entering the gate, she said to him, “Are you coming in peace, you Zimri, your master's murderer?”
৩১যেহূ যেতিয়া দুৱাৰেদি সোমাই আহিল, তেতিয়া ঈজেবলে তেওঁক ক’লে, “তুমি শান্তিৰে আহিলা নে জিম্ৰী, নিজৰ প্রভুৰ হত্যাকাৰী?”
32 Jehu looked up at the window and said, “Who is on my side? Who?” Then two or three eunuchs looked out.
৩২তেতিয়া যেহূৱে ওপৰলৈ খিড়িকিৰ ফালে চাই ক’লে, “মোৰ পক্ষত কোন আছে? কোন কোন আছে?” তাতে দুই তিনিজন নপুংসকে ওপৰৰ পৰা বাহিৰলৈ চালে।
33 So Jehu said, “Throw her down.” So they threw Jezebel down, and some of her blood spattered on the wall and the horses, and Jehu trampled her underfoot.
৩৩যেহূৱে ক’লে, “তেওঁক তললৈ পেলাই দিয়া।” তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে ঈজেবলক তললৈ পেলাই দিলে; তাতে ঈজেবলৰ কিছু তেজ দেৱালত আৰু ঘোঁৰাবোৰৰ গাত ছিটিকি পৰিল আৰু যেহূৰ ৰথৰ ঘোঁৰাবোৰে তেওঁক ভৰিৰে গচকিলে;
34 When Jehu entered the palace, he ate and drank. Then he said, “See now to this cursed woman and bury her, for she is a king's daughter.”
৩৪তাৰ পাছত যেহূ ৰাজগৃহৰ ভিতৰলৈ গৈ ভোজন-পান কৰিলে; তেতিয়া তেওঁ ক’লে, “এই শাও পোৱা মহিলাগৰাকীক এতিয়া চোৱা; তাইক লৈ মৈদাম দিয়াগৈ; কিয়নো তাই ৰজাৰ জীয়েক।”
35 They went to bury her, but they found no more of her than the skull, the feet, and the palms of her hands.
৩৫লোকসকলে যেতিয়া ঈজেবলক মৈদাম দিবৰ কাৰণে ওলাই গ’ল, তেতিয়া মূৰৰ লাউখোলা, ভৰি আৰু হাতৰ বাহিৰে তেওঁৰ একোকে নাপালে।
36 So they came back and told Jehu. He said, “This is the word of Yahweh which he spoke by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, 'In the land at Jezreel the dogs will eat the flesh of Jezebel,
৩৬সেয়ে তেওঁলোকে উভটি গৈ যেহূক এই বাতৰি দিলে; তাতে তেওঁ ক’লে, “যিহোৱাই তেওঁৰ দাস তিচবীয়া এলিয়াৰ দ্বাৰাই ঠিক এই কথাই কৈছিল যে, ‘যিজ্ৰিয়েলৰ মাটিত কুকুৰবোৰে ঈজেবলৰ মঙহ খাব,
37 and the body of Jezebel will be like dung on the surface of the fields in the land at Jezreel, so that no one will be able to say, “This is Jezebel.”'”
৩৭আৰু সেই মাটিত ঈজেবলৰ শৱ গোবৰৰ দৰে পৰি থাকিব; তাতে কোনেও ক’ব নোৱাৰিব যে, ‘এইটো ঈজেবলৰ দেহ’।”
