1 Chronicles 10
1 Now the Philistines fought against Israel. Every man of Israel fled from before the Philistines and fell down dead on Mount Gilboa.
১পলেষ্টীয়াসকলে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ বিৰুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ কৰিলে। ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সকলো লোক পলেষ্টীয়াসকলৰ সন্মুখৰ পৰা পলাল, আৰু অনেক লোকৰ মৃত্যু হৈ গিলবোৱা পৰ্বতত পৰিল।
2 The Philistines closely pursued Saul and his son. The Philistines killed Jonathan, Abinadab, and Malki-Shua, his sons.
২পলেষ্টীয়াসকলে চৌল আৰু তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰসকলক পাছে পাছে খেদি গৈ, চৌলৰ পুত্ৰ যোনাথনক, অবীনাদবক, আৰু মল্কীচুৱাক বধ কৰিলে।
3 The battle went heavily against Saul, and the archers overtook him, and they wounded him.
৩চৌলৰ বিৰুদ্ধে ঘোৰ যুদ্ধ হ’ল, আৰু ধনুৰ্দ্ধৰসকলে তেওঁক আগচি ধৰিলে। ধনুৰ্দ্ধৰসকলৰ কাৰণে তেওঁ ত্ৰাসযুক্ত হ’ল।
4 Then said Saul to his armor bearer, “Draw your sword and thrust me through with it. Otherwise, these uncircumcised will come and abuse me.” But his armor bearer would not, for he was very afraid. So Saul took his own sword and fell on it.
৪তাৰ পাছত চৌলে তেওঁৰ অস্ত্ৰবাহকক ক’লে, “তোৰ তৰোৱাল উলিয়াই তাৰে মোক খোঁচ। নহলে, এই অচুন্নৎহঁতে আহি মোক অপব্যৱহাৰ কৰিব।” কিন্তু তেওঁৰ অস্ত্ৰবাহকে মান্তি নহ’ল, কাৰণ তেওঁ অতিশয় ভয়ত আছিল। সেয়ে চৌলে নিজৰ তৰোৱাল লৈ তাৰ ওপৰত পৰিল।
5 When his armor bearer saw that Saul was dead, he likewise fell on his sword and died.
৫যেতিয়া তেওঁৰ অস্ত্ৰবাহকে দেখিলে চৌলৰ মৃত্যু হ’ল; তেতিয়া তেওঁৰ অস্ত্ৰবাহকেও তেওঁৰ দৰে নিজৰ তৰোৱালৰ ওপৰত পৰি মৰিল।
6 So Saul died, and his three sons, so all his household members died together.
৬এইদৰে চৌল, তেওঁৰ তিনি জন পুত্ৰ, আৰু তেওঁৰ পৰিয়ালৰ সকলো সদস্যসকলৰো একে-লগে মৃত্যু হ’ল।
7 When every man of Israel in the valley saw that they had fled, and that Saul and his sons were dead, they abandoned their cities and fled. Then the Philistines came and lived in them.
৭যেতিয়া ইস্ৰায়েলৰ লোক সকলে সমথল ঠাইলৈ আহি দেখিলে যে, তেওঁলোক পলাইছে আৰু চৌল আৰু তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰসকলৰ মৃত্যু হ’ল; তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে নিজৰ নগৰবোৰ এৰি পলাল। তাৰ পাছত পলেষ্টীয়াসকলে আহি সেইবোৰ ঠাইত বাস কৰিলে।
8 It came about on the next day, when the Philistines came to strip the dead, that they found Saul and his sons fallen on Mount Gilboa.
৮পিছদিনা পলেষ্টীয়াসকলে বধ কৰা লোকসকলৰ সাজ সোলোকাই লবলৈ আহি, গিলবোৱা পৰ্বতত চৌল আৰু তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰসকলৰ মৃত-দেহ পৰি থকা পালে।
9 They stripped him and took his head and his armor. They sent messengers throughout Philistia to carry the news to their idols and to the people.
৯তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে চৌলৰ সাজ সোলোকালে আৰু তেওঁৰ মূৰ লৈ, নিজৰ দেৱতাবোৰক আৰু লোকসকলক বাতৰি জনাবৰ বাবে, পলেষ্টীয়াসকলৰ দেশত সকলো ফালে বাৰ্ত্তাবাহক পঠাই দিলে।
10 They put his armor in the temple of their gods, and fastened his head to the temple of Dagon.
১০তেওঁলোকে চৌলৰ যুদ্ধৰ সাজ তেওঁলোকৰ দেৱতাবোৰৰ মন্দিৰত ৰাখিলে, আৰু তেওঁৰ মূৰ দাগোনৰ মন্দিৰৰ ভিতৰত আৰি থলে।
11 When all Jabesh Gilead heard of all that the Philistines had done to Saul,
১১যেতিয়া যাবেচ গিলিয়দৰ সকলো লোকে পলেষ্টীয়াসকলে চৌললৈ কৰা সেই কৰ্মৰ বাতৰি পালে,
12 all the fighting men went and took away the body of Saul and those of his sons, and brought them to Jabesh. They buried their bones under the oak in Jabesh and fasted seven days.
১২তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকৰ সকলো যুদ্ধাৰু লোকে গৈ চৌল আৰু তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰসকলৰ মৃত-দেহবোৰ যাবেচলৈ লৈ আহিল, আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ অস্থি যাবেচত থকা ওক গছৰ তলত পুতি হ’ল, আৰু সাত দিন লঘোন দিলে।
13 So Saul died because he was unfaithful to Yahweh. He did not obey Yahweh's instructions, but asked for advice from someone who talked with the dead.
১৩চৌল যিহোৱাৰ অবিশ্ৱাসী হোৱাৰ বাবে এইদৰে মৃত্যু হ’ল। তেওঁ যিহোৱাৰ আজ্ঞা বোৰ পালন নকৰিলে, কিন্তু পৰামৰ্শ লবলৈ মৃতলোকৰ লগত কথা পতা লোকৰ ওচৰলৈ গৈছিল।
14 He did not seek guidance from Yahweh, so Yahweh killed him and turned over the kingdom to David son of Jesse.
১৪তেওঁ যিহোৱাৰ পৰা মাৰ্গ প্ৰদৰ্শনৰ বাবে প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰা নাছিল। সেয়ে যিহোৱাই তেওঁক মাৰিলে আৰু ৰাজ্যকো কাঢ়ি লৈ যিচয়ৰ পুত্ৰ দায়ূদক দিলে।
