Revelation 1
1 The reuelacion of Iesus Christe which god gave vnto him for to shewe vnto his servauntes thinges which muste shortly come to passe. And he sent and shewed by his angell vnto his servaunt Ihon
Huu ni ufunuo wa Yesu Kristo ambao Mungu alimpa ili kuwaonesha watumishi wake mambo ambayo lazima yatokee karibuni. Aliyafanya yajulikane kwa kumtuma malaika wake kwa mtumishi wake Yohana.
2 which bare recorde of the worde of god and of the testimony of Iesus Christe and of all thinges yt he sawe.
Yohana alitoa ushuhuda wa kila kitu alichoona kuhusiana na neno la Mungu na kwa ushuhuda uliotolewa kuhusu Yesu Kristo.
3 Happy is he that redith and they that heare the wordes of the prophesy and kepe thoo thinges which are written therin. For the tyme is at honde.
Amebarikiwa yeye asomaye kwa sauti na wale wote wanaoyasikia maneno ya unabii huu na kutii kilichoandikwa humo, kwa sababu muda umekaribia.
4 Ihon to the. vii. congregacios in Asia. Grace be with you and peace from him which is and which was and which is to come and from the. vii. spretes which are present before his trone
Yohana, kwa makanisa saba yaliyoko Asia: neema iwe kwenu na amani kutoka kwake aliyepo, aliyekuwepo, na atakayekuja, na kutoka kwa roho saba walio mbele ya kiti chake cha enzi,
5 and from Iesus Christ which is a faythfull witnes and fyrst begotte of the deed: and Lorde over the kinges of the erth. Vnto him that loved vs and wesshed vs fro synnes in his awne bloud
na kutoka kwa Yesu Kristo ambaye ni shahidi mwaminifu, mzaliwa wa kwanza wa waliokufa, na mtawala wa wafalme wa dunia hii. Kwake yeye atupendaye na ametuweka huru kutoka katika dhambi zetu kwa damu yake,
6 and made vs kinges and Prestes vnto God his father be glory and dominion for ever more. Amen. (aiōn g165)
ametufanya kuwa ufalme, makuhani wa Mungu na Baba yake - kwake kuwa utukufu na nguvu milele daima. Amina. (aiōn g165)
7 Beholde he commeth with cloudes and all eyes shall se him: and they also which peersed him. And all kinredes of ye erth shall wayle. Even so. Amen.
Tazama, anakuja na mawingu; kila jicho litamwona, pamoja na wote waliomchoma. Na kabila zote za dunia wataomboleza kwake. Ndiyo, Amina.
8 I am Alpha and Omega the begynninge and the endinge sayth the Lorde almyghty which is and which was and which is to come.
“Mimi ni Alfa na Omega,” asema Bwana Mungu, “Yeye aliyepo, na aliyekuwepo, na ambaye anakuja, Mwenye nguvu.”
9 I Ihon youre brother and companyon in tribulacion and in the kyngdom and pacience which is in Iesu Christe was in the yle of Pathmos for the worde of god and for ye witnessynge of Iesu Christe.
Mimi, Yohana - ndugu yenu na mmoja anayeshiriki pamoja nanyi katika mateso na ufalme na uvumilivu thabiti ulio katika Yesu; nilikuwa katika kisiwa kiitwacho Patimo kwa sababu ya neno la Mungu na ushuhuda kuhusu Yesu.
10 I was in the sprete on a sondaye and herde behynde me a gret voyce as it had bene of a trompe
Nilikuwa katika Roho siku ya Bwana. Nilisikia nyuma yangu sauti ya juu kama ya tarumbeta,
11 sayinge: I am Alpha and Omega the fyrst and the laste. That thou seist write in a boke and sende it vnto the congregacions which are in Asia vnto Ephesus and vnto Smyrna and vnto Pargamos and vnto Thiatira and vnto Sardis and vnto Philadelphia and vnto Laodicia.
ikisema, “andika katika kitabu unayo yaona, na uyatume kwa makanisa saba, kwenda Efeso, kwenda Smirna, kwenda Pergamo, kwenda Thiatira, kwenda Sardi, kwenda Philadelphia, na kwenda Laodikia.”
12 And I turned backe to se the voyce that spake to me. And when I was turned: I sawe. vii golde candelstyckes
Nikageuka kuona ni sauti ya nani aliyekuwa akiongea nami, na nilipogeuka niliona kinara cha dhahabu cha taa saba.
13 and in the myddes of the cadelstyckes one lyke vnto ye sone of ma clothed with a lynnen garmet doune to the ground and gyrd aboute the pappes with a golden gyrdle
Katikati ya kinara cha taa alikuwemo mmoja kama Mwana wa Adamu, amevaa kanzu ndefu iliyofika chini ya miguu yake, na mkanda wa dhababu kuzunguka kifua chake.
14 His heed and his heares were whyte as whyte woll and as snowe: and his eyes were as a flame of fyre:
Kichwa chake na nywele zake zilikuwa nyeupe kama sufu nyeupe kama theluji, na macho yake yalikuwa kama mwali wa moto.
15 and his fete lyke vnto brasse as though they brent in a fornace: and his voyce as the sounde of many waters.
Nyayo zake zilikuwa kama shaba iliyosuguliwa sana, kama shaba ambayo imekwisha pitishwa katika moto, na sauti yake ilikuwa kama sauti ya maji mengi yanayotiririka kwa kasi.
16 And he had in his right honde vii. starres. And out of his mouth wet a sharpe twoo edged swearde. And his face shone eve as the sonne in his strength.
Alikuwa ameshikilia nyota saba katika mkono wake wa kuume, na kutoka kinywani mwake kulikuwa na upanga mkali wenye makali kuwili. Uso wake ulikuwa uking'aa kama mwanga mkali wa jua.
17 And when I sawe him I fell at his fete even as deed. And he layde hys ryght honde apon me sayinge vnto me: feare not. I am the fyrst and the laste
Nilipomwona, nikaanguka miguuni pake kama mtu aliyekufa. Akaweka mkono wake wa kulia juu yangu na kusema, “Usiogope! Mimi ni wa kwanza na wa Mwisho,
19 wryte therfore the thynges which thou haste sene and the thynges which are and the thynges which shalbe fulfylled hereafter:
Kwa hiyo, yaandike uliyoyaona, yaliyopo sasa, na yale yatakayotokea baada ya haya.
20 and ye mystery of the vii. starres which thou sawest in my ryght honde and the vii. golden candelstyckes. The vii. stares are the messengers of the vii. congregacios: And the vii. candlestyckes which thou sawest are the vii. congregacions.
Kwa maana iliyojificha kuhusu nyota saba ulizoziona katika mkono wangu wa kuume, na kile kinara cha dhahabu cha taa saba: nyota saba ni malaika wa yale makanisa saba, na kinara cha taa saba ni yale makanisa saba.”
