Revelation 14

1 And I loked and loo a lambe stode on the mount Syon and with him C. and xliiii. thousande havynge his fathers name written in their forhedes.

Och jag fick se Lammet stå på Sions berg jämte det ett hundra fyrtiofyra tusen som hade dess namn och dess Faders namn skrivna på sina pannor.

2 And I herde a voyce from heven as the sounde of many waters and as the voyce of a gret thoundre And I herde the voyce of harpers harpynge with their harpes.

Och jag hörde ett ljud från himmelen, likt bruset av stora vatten och dånet av ett starkt tordön; och ljudet som jag hörde var såsom när harpospelare spela på sina harpor.

3 And they songe as it were a newe songe before the seate and before the foure beestes and the elders and no man coulde learne that songe but the hondred and xliiii. M. which were redemed from the erth.

Och de sjöngo inför tronen och inför de fyra väsendena och de äldste vad som tycktes vara en ny sång; och ingen kunde lära sig den sången, utom de ett hundra fyrtiofyra tusen som voro friköpta ifrån jorden.

4 These are they which were not defyled with wemen for they are virgyns. These folowe the lambe whither soever he goeth. These were redemed from men beynge the fyrste frutes vnto God and to the lambe

Dessa äro de som icke hava orenat sig med kvinnor; ty de äro såsom jungfrur. Dessa äro de som följa Lammet varthelst det går. De hava blivit friköpta ifrån människorna till en förstling åt Gud och Lammet.

5 and in their mouthes was foude no gyle. For they are with oute spott before the trone of god.

Och i deras mun har ingen lögn blivit funnen; de äro ostraffliga.

6 And I sawe an angell flye in the myddes of heven havynge an everlastynge gospell to preache vnto them that sytt and dwell on the erth and to all nacions kinreddes and tonges and people (aiōnios g166)

Och jag såg en annan ängel flyga fram uppe i himlarymden; han hade ett evigt evangelium, som han skulle förkunna för dem som bo på jorden, för alla folkslag och stammar och tungomål och folk. (aiōnios g166)

7 sayinge with a lowde voyce: Feare God and geve honour to him for the houre of his iudgement is come: and worshyppe him that made heven and erth and the see and fountaynes of water.

Och han sade med hög röst: »Frukten Gud och given honom ära; ty stunden är kommen, då han skall hålla dom. Ja, tillbedjen honom som har skapat himmel och jord och hav och vattenkällor.

8 And there folowed another angell sayinge: Babilon is fallen is fallen that gret cite for she made all nacions drynke of the wyne of hyr fornicacion.

Och ännu en annan ängel följde honom; denne sade: »Fallet, fallet är det stora Babylon, som har givit alla folk att dricka av sin otukts vredesvin.»

9 And the thyrde angell folowed them sayinge with aloude voyce: Yf eny man worshippe the beest and his ymage and receave hie marke in his forhed or on his honde

Och ännu en tredje ängel följde dem; denne sade med hög röst: »Om någon tillbeder vilddjuret och dess bild och tager dess märke på sin panna eller på sin hand,

10 the same shall drynke of the wyne of the wrath of God which is powred in the cuppe of his wrath. And he shalbe punnysshed in fyre and brymstone before the holy Angels and before the lambe.

så skall ock han få dricka av Guds vredesvin, det som är iskänkt i hans vredes kalk, obemängt; och han skall bliva plågad med eld och svavel, i heliga änglars och i Lammets åsyn.

11 And the smoke of their turment ascendeth vp evermore. And they have no rest daye ner nyght which worshippe ye beast and his ymage and whosoever receaveth the prynt of his name. (aiōn g165)

Och när de så plågas, uppstiger röken därav i evigheters evigheter, och de hava ingen ro, vaken dag eller natt, de som tillbedja vilddjuret och dess bild, eller som låta märka sig med dess namn. (aiōn g165)

12 Here is the pacience of saynctes. Heare are they that kepe the commaundmentes and the fayth of Iesu.

Här gäller det för de heliga att hava ståndaktighet, för dem som hålla Guds bud och bevara tron på Jesus.»

13 And I herde a voyce from heven sayinge vnto me: wryte. Blessed are the deed which here after dye in the lorde even soo sayth the sprete: that they maye rest fro their laboures but their workes shall folowe them.

Och jag hörde en röst från himmelen säga: »Skriv: Saliga äro de döda som dö i Herren härefter. Ja, säger Anden, de skola få vila sig från sitt arbete, ty deras gärningar följa dem.»

14 And I loked and beholde a whyte clowde and apon the clowde one syttynge lyke vnto the sonne of man havynge on his heed a golde crowne and in his honde a sharpe sykle.

Och jag fick se en vit sky, och på skyn satt en som liknade en människoson; och han hade på sitt huvud en gyllene krans, och i sin hand en vass lie.

15 And another angell came oute of the temple cryinge with a lowde voyce to him that sate on the clowde. Thruste in thy sycle and repe: for the tyme is come to repe for the corne of the erth is rype.

Och en annan ängel kom ut ur templet och ropade med hög röst till den som satt på skyn: »Låt din lie gå, och inbärga skörden; ty skördetiden är kommen, och säden på jorden är fullt mogen till skörd.»

16 And he that sate on the clowde thrust in his sykle on the erth and the erth was reped.

Den som satt på skyn högg då till med sin lie på jorden, och jorden blev avbärgad.

17 And another angell came oute of the temple which is in heven havynge also a sharpe sycle.

Och en annan ängel kom ut ur templet i himmelen, och jämväl han hade en vass lie.

18 And another angell came oute from yt aultre which had power over fyre and cryed with a lowde crye to him that had the sharpe sykle and sayde: thrust in thy sharpe sykle and gaddre the clusters of the erth for her grapes are rype.

Och ännu en ängel kom fram ifrån altaret, den som hade makt över elden. Denne ropade med hög röst till den som hade den vassa lien; han sade »Låt din vassa lie gå, och skär av druvklasarna från vinträden på jorden, ty deras druvor äro fullmogna.»

19 And the angell thrust in his sykle on the erth and cut doune the grapes of the vyneyarde of the erth: and cast them into the gret wynefat of the wrath of god

Och ängeln högg till med sin lie på jorden och skar av frukten ifrån vinträden på jorden och kastade den i Guds vredes stora vinpress.

20 and the wynefat was trodden with out the cite and bloud came oute of the fat eve vnto the hors brydles by the space of a thowsande and. vi. C. furlonges.

Och vinpressen trampade utanför staden, och blod gick ut från pressen och steg ända upp till betslen på hästarna, på en sträcka av ett tusen sex hundra stadier.
