Matthew 11
1 And it came to passe when Iesus had made an ende of comaundinge his. xii. disciples that he departed thence to teache and to preache in their cities.
อิตฺถํ ยีศุ: สฺวทฺวาทศศิษฺยาณามาชฺญาปนํ สมาปฺย ปุเร ปุร อุปเทษฺฏุํ สุสํวาทํ ปฺรจารยิตุํ ตตฺสฺถานาตฺ ปฺรตเสฺถฯ
2 When Ihon beinge in preson hearde ye workes of Christ he sent two of his disciples
อนนฺตรํ โยหนฺ การายำ ติษฺฐนฺ ขฺริษฺฏสฺย กรฺมฺมณำ วารฺตฺตํ ปฺราปฺย ยสฺยาคมนวารฺตฺตาสีตฺ เสอว กึ ตฺวํ? วา วยมนฺยมฺ อเปกฺษิษฺยามเห?
3 and sayde vnto him. Arte thou he that shall come: or shall we loke for another.
เอตตฺ ปฺรษฺฏุํ นิเชา เทฺวา ศิเษฺยา ปฺราหิโณตฺฯ
4 Iesus answered and sayde vnto them. Go and shewe Ihon what ye have hearde and sene.
ยีศุ: ปฺรตฺยโวจตฺ, อนฺธา เนตฺราณิ ลภนฺเต, ขญฺจา คจฺฉนฺติ, กุษฺฐิน: สฺวสฺถา ภวนฺติ, พธิรา: ศฺฤณฺวนฺติ, มฺฤตา ชีวนฺต อุตฺติษฺฐนฺติ, ทริทฺราณำ สมีเป สุสํวาท: ปฺรจารฺยฺยต,
5 The blynd se the halt goo the lepers are clensed: the deef heare the ded ryse ageyne and the glad tidinges is preached to the povre.
เอตานิ ยทฺยทฺ ยุวำ ศฺฤณุถ: ปศฺยถศฺจ คตฺวา ตทฺวารฺตฺตำ โยหนํ คทตํฯ
6 And happy is he that is not offended by me.
ยสฺยาหํ น วิฆฺนีภวามิ, เสอว ธนฺย: ฯ
7 And as they departed Iesus begane to speake vnto the people of Ihon. What for to se wet ye out in to the wyldernes? wet ye out to se a rede shake with ye wynde?
อนนฺตรํ ตโย: ปฺรสฺถิตโย รฺยีศุ โรฺยหนมฺ อุทฺทิศฺย ชนานฺ ชคาท, ยูยํ กึ ทฺรษฺฏุํ วหิรฺมเธฺยปฺรานฺตรมฺ อคจฺฉต? กึ วาเตน กมฺปิตํ นลํ?
8 other what wet ye out for to se? A man clothed in soofte raymet: ? Beholde they yt weare soofte clothig are in kynges howses.
วา กึ วีกฺษิตุํ วหิรฺคตวนฺต: ? กึ ปริหิตสูกฺษฺมวสนํ มนุชเมกํ? ปศฺยต, เย สูกฺษฺมวสนานิ ปริทธติ, เต ราชธานฺยำ ติษฺฐนฺติฯ
9 But what wet ye oute for to se? A prophete? Ye I saye to you and more the a prophete.
ตรฺหิ ยูยํ กึ ทฺรษฺฏุํ พหิรคมต, กิเมกํ ภวิษฺยทฺวาทินํ? ตเทว สตฺยํฯ ยุษฺมานหํ วทามิ, ส ภวิษฺยทฺวาทิโนปิ มหานฺ;
10 For this is he of who it is wrytte. Beholde I sende my messenger before thy face which shall prepare thy waye before ye.
ยต: , ปศฺย สฺวกียทูโตยํ ตฺวทเคฺร เปฺรษฺยเต มยาฯ ส คตฺวา ตว ปนฺถานํ สฺมยกฺ ปริษฺกริษฺยติ๚ เอตทฺวจนํ ยมธิ ลิขิตมาเสฺต โส'ยํ โยหนฺฯ
11 Verely I saye vnto you amonge ye chyldren of wemen arose there not a gretter then Ihon the baptist. Notwithstondinge he that ys lesse in the kyngdome of heven ys gretter then he.
อปรํ ยุษฺมานหํ ตถฺยํ พฺรวีมิ, มชฺชยิตุ โรฺยหน: เศฺรษฺฐ: โกปิ นารีโต นาชายต; ตถาปิ สฺวรฺคราชฺยมเธฺย สรฺเวฺวโภฺย ย: กฺษุทฺร: ส โยหน: เศฺรษฺฐ: ฯ
12 From the tyme of Ihon Baptist hytherto ye kyngdome of heve suffreth violence and they that go to it with violence pluck it vnto them.
อปรญฺจ อา โยหโน'ทฺย ยาวตฺ สฺวรฺคราชฺยํ พลาทากฺรานฺตํ ภวติ อากฺรมินศฺจ ชนา พเลน ตทธิกุรฺวฺวนฺติฯ
13 For all the prophetes and the lawe prophesyed vnto to the tyme of Ihon.
ยโต โยหนํ ยาวตฺ สรฺวฺวภวิษฺยทฺวาทิภิ รฺวฺยวสฺถยา จ อุปเทศ: ปฺรากาศฺยตฯ
14 Also yf ye wyll receave it this is Helyas which shuld come.
ยทิ ยูยมิทํ วากฺยํ คฺรหีตุํ ศกฺนุถ, ตรฺหิ เศฺรย: , ยสฺยาคมนสฺย วจนมาเสฺต โส'ยมฺ เอลิย: ฯ
15 He yt hathe eares to heare let him heare.
ยสฺย โศฺรตุํ กรฺเณา สฺต: ส ศฺฤโณตุฯ
16 But wher vnto shall I lyken this generacion? It ys lyke vnto chyldre which syt in the market and call vnto their felowes
เอเต วิทฺยมานชนา: ไก รฺมโยปมียนฺเต? เย พาลกา หฏฺฏ อุปวิศฺย สฺวํ สฺวํ พนฺธุมาหูย วทนฺติ,
17 and saye: we have pyped vnto you and ye have not daunsed? We have morned vnto you and ye have not sorowed.
วยํ ยุษฺมากํ สมีเป วํศีรวาทยาม, กินฺตุ ยูยํ นานฺฤตฺยต; ยุษฺมากํ สมีเป จ วยมโรทิม, กินฺตุ ยูยํ น วฺยลปต, ตาทฺฤไศ รฺพาลไกสฺต อุปมายิษฺยนฺเตฯ
18 For Ihon came nether eatinge nor drinkinge and they saye he hath the devyll.
ยโต โยหนฺ อาคตฺย น ภุกฺตวานฺ น ปีตวำศฺจ, เตน โลกา วทนฺติ, ส ภูตคฺรสฺต อิติฯ
19 The sonne of man came eatinge and drinkinge and they saye beholde a glutton and drynker of wyne and a frend vnto publicas and synners. Never the later wysdome ys iustified of hir children.
มนุชสุต อาคตฺย ภุกฺตวานฺ ปีตวำศฺจ, เตน โลกา วทนฺติ, ปศฺยต เอษ โภกฺตา มทฺยปาตา จณฺฑาลปาปินำ พนฺธศฺจ, กินฺตุ ชฺญานิโน ชฺญานวฺยวหารํ นิรฺโทษํ ชานนฺติฯ
20 Then bega he to vpbrayd the cities in which most of his miracles were done because they meded not.
ส ยตฺร ยตฺร ปุเร พหฺวาศฺจรฺยฺยํ กรฺมฺม กฺฤตวานฺ, ตนฺนิวาสินำ มน: ปราวฺฤตฺตฺยภาวาตฺ ตานิ นคราณิ ปฺรติ หนฺเตตฺยุกฺตา กถิตวานฺ,
21 Wo be to ye Chorasin. Wo be to ye Betzaida: for if the miracles which were shewd in you had bene done in Tyre and Sidon they had repented longe agone in sackcloth and asshes.
หา โกราสีนฺ, หา ไพตฺไสเท, ยุษฺมนฺมเธฺย ยทฺยทาศฺจรฺยฺยํ กรฺมฺม กฺฤตํ ยทิ ตตฺ โสรสีโทนฺนคร อการิษฺยต, ตรฺหิ ปูรฺวฺวเมว ตนฺนิวาสิน: ศาณวสเน ภสฺมนิ โจปวิศนฺโต มนำสิ ปราวรฺตฺติษฺยนฺตฯ
22 Neverthelesse I say to you: it shall be esier for Tyre and Sidon at the day of iudgemet then for you.
ตสฺมาทหํ ยุษฺมานฺ วทามิ, วิจารทิเน ยุษฺมากํ ทศาต: โสรสีโทโน รฺทศา สหฺยตรา ภวิษฺยติฯ
23 And thou Capernau which art lift vp vnto heve shalt be brought doune to hell. For if the miracles which have bene done in the had bene shewed in zodom: they had remayned to this daye. (Hadēs g86)
อปรญฺจ พต กผรฺนาหูมฺ, ตฺวํ สฺวรฺคํ ยาวทุนฺนโตสิ, กินฺตุ นรเก นิกฺเษปฺสฺยเส, ยสฺมาตฺ ตฺวยิ ยานฺยาศฺจรฺยฺยาณิ กรฺมฺมณฺยการิษต, ยทิ ตานิ สิโทมฺนคร อการิษฺยนฺต, ตรฺหิ ตททฺย ยาวทสฺถาสฺยตฺฯ (Hadēs g86)
24 Neverthelesse I saye vnto you: it shalbe easiar for ye londe of zodo in the daye of iudgemet the for ye.
กินฺตฺวหํ ยุษฺมานฺ วทามิ, วิจารทิเน ตว ทณฺฑต: สิโทโม ทณฺโฑ สหฺยตโร ภวิษฺยติฯ
25 At yt tyme Iesus answered and sayd: I prayse ye o father lorde of heve and erth because thou hast hid these thinges fro the wyse and prudet and hast opened the vnto babes:
เอตสฺมินฺเนว สมเย ยีศุ: ปุนรุวาจ, เห สฺวรฺคปฺฤถิโวฺยเรกาธิปเต ปิตสฺตฺวํ ชฺญานวโต วิทุษศฺจ โลกานฺ ปฺรเตฺยตานิ น ปฺรกาศฺย พาลกานฺ ปฺรติ ปฺรกาศิตวานฺ, อิติ เหโตสฺตฺวำ ธนฺยํ วทามิฯ
26 eve so father for so it pleased ye.
เห ปิต: , อิตฺถํ ภเวตฺ ยต อิทํ ตฺวทฺฤษฺฏาวุตฺตมํฯ
27 All thinges are geve vnto me of my father. And noma knoweth ye sonne but ye father: nether knoweth eny ma ye father save ye sonne and he to whome ye sonne will ope him.
ปิตฺรา มยิ สรฺวฺวาณิ สมรฺปิตานิ, ปิตรํ วินา โกปิ ปุตฺรํ น ชานาติ, ยานฺ ปฺรติ ปุเตฺรณ ปิตา ปฺรกาศฺยเต ตานฺ วินา ปุตฺราทฺ อนฺย: โกปิ ปิตรํ น ชานาติฯ
28 Come vnto me all ye that laboure and are laden and I wyll ease you.
เห ปริศฺรานฺตา ภารากฺรานฺตาศฺจ โลกา ยูยํ มตฺสนฺนิธิมฺ อาคจฺฉต, อหํ ยุษฺมานฺ วิศฺรมยิษฺยามิฯ
29 Take my yoke on you and lerne of me for I am meke and lowly in herte: and ye shall fynd rest vnto youre soules.
อหํ กฺษมณศีโล นมฺรมนาศฺจ, ตสฺมาตฺ มม ยุคํ เสฺวษามุปริ ธารยต มตฺต: ศิกฺษธฺวญฺจ, เตน ยูยํ เสฺว เสฺว มนสิ วิศฺรามํ ลปฺสฺยทฺเหฺพฯ
30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
ยโต มม ยุคมฺ อนายาสํ มม ภารศฺจ ลฆุ: ฯ
