Matthew 11
1 And it came to passe when Iesus had made an ende of comaundinge his. xii. disciples that he departed thence to teache and to preache in their cities.
| بَعْدَمَا انْتَهَى يَسُوعُ مِنْ تَوْصِيَةِ تَلاَمِيذِهِ الاثْنَيْ عَشَرَ، انْتَقَلَ مِنْ هُنَاكَ، وَذَهَبَ يُعَلِّمُ وَيُبَشِّرُ فِي مُدُنِهِمْ. | ١ |
2 When Ihon beinge in preson hearde ye workes of Christ he sent two of his disciples
| وَلَمَّا سَمِعَ يُوحَنَّا، وَهُوَ فِي السِّجْنِ، بِأَعْمَالِ الْمَسِيحِ، أَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهِ بَعْضَ تَلاَمِيذِهِ، | ٢ |
3 and sayde vnto him. Arte thou he that shall come: or shall we loke for another.
| يَسْأَلُهُ: «أَأَنْتَ هُوَ الآتِي، أَمْ نَنْتَظِرُ غَيْرَكَ؟» | ٣ |
4 Iesus answered and sayde vnto them. Go and shewe Ihon what ye have hearde and sene.
| فَأَجَابَهُمْ يَسُوعُ قَائِلاً: «اذْهَبُوا أَخْبِرُوا يُوحَنَّا بِمَا تَسْمَعُونَ وَتَرَوْنَ: | ٤ |
5 The blynd se the halt goo the lepers are clensed: the deef heare the ded ryse ageyne and the glad tidinges is preached to the povre.
| الْعُمْيُ يُبْصِرُونَ، وَالْعُرْجُ يَمْشُونَ، وَالْبُرْصُ يُطَهَّرُونَ، وَالصُّمُّ يَسْمَعُونَ، وَالْمَوْتَى يُقَامُونَ، وَالْمَسَاكِينُ يُبَشَّرُونَ. | ٥ |
6 And happy is he that is not offended by me.
| وَطُوبَى لِمَنْ لاَ يَشُكُّ فِيَّ!» | ٦ |
7 And as they departed Iesus begane to speake vnto the people of Ihon. What for to se wet ye out in to the wyldernes? wet ye out to se a rede shake with ye wynde?
| وَمَا إِنِ انْصَرَفَ تَلاَمِيذُ يُوحَنَّا، حَتَّى أَخَذَ يَسُوعُ يَتَحَدَّثُ إِلَى الْجُمُوعِ عَنْ يُوحَنَّا: «مَاذَا خَرَجْتُمْ إِلَى الْبَرِّيَّةِ لِتَرَوْا؟ أَقَصَبَةً تَهُزُّهَا الرِّيَاحُ؟ | ٧ |
8 other what wet ye out for to se? A man clothed in soofte raymet: ? Beholde they yt weare soofte clothig are in kynges howses.
| بَلْ مَاذَا خَرَجْتُمْ لِتَرَوْا: أَإِنْسَاناً يَلْبَسُ ثِيَاباً نَاعِمَةً؟ هَا إِنَّ لاَبِسِي الثِّيَابِ النَّاعِمَةِ هُمْ فِي قُصُورِ الْمُلُوكِ! | ٨ |
9 But what wet ye oute for to se? A prophete? Ye I saye to you and more the a prophete.
| إِذَنْ، مَاذَا خَرَجْتُمْ لِتَرَوْا؟ أَنَبِيّاً؟ نَعَمْ، أَقُولُ لَكُمْ، وَأَعْظَمَ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ. | ٩ |
10 For this is he of who it is wrytte. Beholde I sende my messenger before thy face which shall prepare thy waye before ye.
| فَهَذَا هُوَ الَّذِي كُتِبَ عَنْهُ: هَا إِنِّي مُرْسِلٌ قُدَّامَكَ رَسُولِي الَّذِي يُمَهِّدُ لَكَ طَرِيقَكَ! | ١٠ |
11 Verely I saye vnto you amonge ye chyldren of wemen arose there not a gretter then Ihon the baptist. Notwithstondinge he that ys lesse in the kyngdome of heven ys gretter then he.
| الْحَقَّ أَقُولُ لَكُمْ: إِنَّهُ لَمْ يَظْهَرْ بَيْنَ مَنْ وَلَدَتْهُمْ النِّسَاءُ أَعْظَمُ مِنْ يُوحَنَّا الْمَعْمَدَانِ. وَلَكِنَّ الأَصْغَرَ فِي مَلَكُوتِ السَّمَاوَاتِ أَعْظَمُ مِنْهُ! | ١١ |
12 From the tyme of Ihon Baptist hytherto ye kyngdome of heve suffreth violence and they that go to it with violence pluck it vnto them.
| فَمُنْذُ أَنْ بَدَأَ يُوحَنَّا الْمَعْمَدَانُ خِدْمَتَهُ وَالنَّاسُ يَسْعَوْنَ جَاهِدِينِ لِدُخُولِ مَلَكُوتِ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالسَّاعُونَ يَدْخُلُونَهُ بِمَشَقَّةٍ! | ١٢ |
13 For all the prophetes and the lawe prophesyed vnto to the tyme of Ihon.
| فَإِنَّ الشَّرِيعَةَ وَالأَنْبِيَاءَ تَنَبَّأُوا جَمِيعاً حَتَّى ظُهُورِ يُوحَنَّا. | ١٣ |
14 Also yf ye wyll receave it this is Helyas which shuld come.
| وَإِنْ شِئْتُمْ أَنْ تُصَدِّقُوا، فَإِنَّ يُوحَنَّا هَذَا، هُوَ إِيلِيَّا الَّذِي كَانَ رُجُوعُهُ مُنْتَظَراً. | ١٤ |
15 He yt hathe eares to heare let him heare.
| وَمَنْ لَهُ أُذُنَانِ، فَلْيَسْمَعْ! | ١٥ |
16 But wher vnto shall I lyken this generacion? It ys lyke vnto chyldre which syt in the market and call vnto their felowes
| وَلَكِنْ، بِمَنْ أُشَبِّهُ هَذَا الْجِيلَ؟ إِنَّهُمْ يُشْبِهُونَ أَوْلاَداً جَالِسِينَ فِي السَّاحَاتِ الْعَامَّةِ، يُنَادُونَ أَصْحَابَهُمْ قَائِلِينَ: | ١٦ |
17 and saye: we have pyped vnto you and ye have not daunsed? We have morned vnto you and ye have not sorowed.
| زَمَّرْنَا لَكُمْ، فَلَمْ تَرْقُصُوا! وَنَدَبْنَا لَكُمْ، فَلَمْ تَبْكُوا! | ١٧ |
18 For Ihon came nether eatinge nor drinkinge and they saye he hath the devyll.
| فَقَدْ جَاءَ يُوحَنَّا لاَ يَأْكُلُ وَلاَ يَشْرَبُ، فَقَالُوا: إِنَّ شَيْطَاناً يَسْكُنُهُ! | ١٨ |
19 The sonne of man came eatinge and drinkinge and they saye beholde a glutton and drynker of wyne and a frend vnto publicas and synners. Never the later wysdome ys iustified of hir children.
| ثُمَّ جَاءَ ابْنُ الإِنْسَانِ يَأْكُلُ وَيَشْرَبُ، فَقَالُوا: هَذَا رَجُلٌ شَرِهٌ وَسِكِّيرٌ، صَدِيقٌ لِجُبَاةِ الضَّرَائِبِ وَالْخَاطِئِينَ. وَلَكِنَّ تُخْتَبَرُ الْحِكْمَةَ بِأَعْمَالِها». | ١٩ |
20 Then bega he to vpbrayd the cities in which most of his miracles were done because they meded not.
| ثُمَّ بَدَأَ يَسُوعُ يُوَبِّخُ الْمُدُنَ الَّتِي جَرَتْ فِيهَا أَكْثَرُ مُعْجِزَاتِهِ، لِكَوْنِ أَهْلِهَا لَمْ يَتُوبُوا. | ٢٠ |
21 Wo be to ye Chorasin. Wo be to ye Betzaida: for if the miracles which were shewd in you had bene done in Tyre and Sidon they had repented longe agone in sackcloth and asshes.
| فَقَالَ: «الْوَيْلُ لَكِ يَاكُورَزِينُ! الْوَيْلُ لَكِ يَابَيْتَ صَيْدَا! فَلَوْ أُجْرِيَ فِي صُورَ وَصَيْدَا مَا أُجْرِيَ فِيكُمَا مِنَ الْمُعْجِزَاتِ، لَتَابَ أَهْلُهُمَا مُنْذُ الْقَدِيمِ لابَسِينَ الْمُسُوحَ فِي وَسَطِ الرَّمَادِ. | ٢١ |
22 Neverthelesse I say to you: it shall be esier for Tyre and Sidon at the day of iudgemet then for you.
| وَلَكِنِّي أَقُولُ لَكُمْ: إِنَّ حَالَةَ صُورَ وَصَيْدَا فِي الدَّيْنُونَةِ، سَتَكُونُ أَكْثَرَ احْتِمَالاً مِنْ حَالَتِكُمَا! | ٢٢ |
23 And thou Capernau which art lift vp vnto heve shalt be brought doune to hell. For if the miracles which have bene done in the had bene shewed in zodom: they had remayned to this daye. (Hadēs g86)
| وَأَنْتِ يَاكَفْرَنَاحُومَ: هَلِ ارْتَفَعْتِ حَتَّى السَّمَاءِ؟ إِنَّكِ إِلَى قَعْرِ الْهَاوِيَةِ سَتُهْبَطِينَ. فَلَوْ جَرَى فِي سَدُومَ مَا جَرَى فِيكِ مِنَ الْمُعْجِزَاتِ، لَبَقِيَتْ حَتَّى الْيَوْمِ. (Hadēs g86) | ٢٣ |
24 Neverthelesse I saye vnto you: it shalbe easiar for ye londe of zodo in the daye of iudgemet the for ye.
| وَلَكِنِّي أَقُولُ لَكُمْ إِنَّ مَصِيرَ سَدُومَ فِي يَوْمِ الدَّيْنُونَةِ، سَيَكُونُ أَكْثَرَ احْتِمَالاً مِنْ حَالَتِكِ!» | ٢٤ |
25 At yt tyme Iesus answered and sayd: I prayse ye o father lorde of heve and erth because thou hast hid these thinges fro the wyse and prudet and hast opened the vnto babes:
| وَفِي ذَلِكَ الْوَقْتِ، تَكَلَّمَ يَسُوعُ فَقَالَ: «أَحْمَدُكَ أَيُّهَا الآبُ، رَبَّ السَّمَاءِ وَالأَرْضِ، لأَنَّكَ حَجَبْتَ هَذِهِ الأُمُورَ عَنِ الْحُكَمَاءِ وَالْفُهَمَاءِ، وَكَشَفْتَهَا لِلأَطْفَالِ! | ٢٥ |
26 eve so father for so it pleased ye.
| نَعَمْ أَيُّهَا الآبُ، لأَنَّهُ هَكَذَا حَسُنَ فِي نَظَرِكَ. | ٢٦ |
27 All thinges are geve vnto me of my father. And noma knoweth ye sonne but ye father: nether knoweth eny ma ye father save ye sonne and he to whome ye sonne will ope him.
| كُلُّ شَيْءٍ قَدْ سَلَّمَهُ إِلَيَّ أَبِي. وَلاَ أَحَدٌ يَعْرِفُ الاِبْنَ إِلاَّ الآبُ، وَلاَ أَحَدٌ يَعْرِفُ الآبَ إِلاَّ الاِبْنُ، وَمَنْ أَرَادَ الاِبْنُ أَنْ يُعْلِنَهُ لَهُ. | ٢٧ |
28 Come vnto me all ye that laboure and are laden and I wyll ease you.
| تَعَالَوْا إِلَيَّ يَاجَمِيعَ الْمُتْعَبِينَ وَالثَّقِيلِي الأَحْمَالِ، وَأَنَا أُرِيحُكُمْ. | ٢٨ |
29 Take my yoke on you and lerne of me for I am meke and lowly in herte: and ye shall fynd rest vnto youre soules.
| اِحْمِلُوا نِيرِي عَلَيْكُمْ، وَتعَلَّمُوا مِنِّي، لأَنِّي وَدِيعٌ وَمُتَوَاضِعُ الْقَلْبِ، فَتَجِدُوا الرَّاحَةَ لِنُفُوسِكُمْ. | ٢٩ |
30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
| فَإِنَّ نِيرِي هَيِّنٌ، وَحِمْلِي خَفِيفٌ!» | ٣٠ |
