Mark 2
1 After a feawe dayes he entred into Capernaum agayne and it was noysed that he was in a housse.
Kemudian, sesudah lewat beberapa hari, waktu Yesus datang lagi ke Kapernaum, tersiarlah kabar, bahwa Ia ada di rumah.
2 And anone many gadered to geder in so moche that now there was no roume to receave them: no not so moche as about the dore. And he preached the worde vnto them.
Maka datanglah orang-orang berkerumun sehingga tidak ada lagi tempat, bahkan di muka pintupun tidak. Sementara Ia memberitakan firman kepada mereka,
3 And there came vnto him that brought one sicke of the palsie borne of fower men.
ada orang-orang datang membawa kepada-Nya seorang lumpuh, digotong oleh empat orang.
4 And because they coulde not come nye vnto him for preace they vncovered ye rofe of the housse where he was. And when they had broken it ope they let doune ye beed where in ye sicke of the palsie laye.
Tetapi mereka tidak dapat membawanya kepada-Nya karena orang banyak itu, lalu mereka membuka atap yang di atas-Nya; sesudah terbuka mereka menurunkan tilam, tempat orang lumpuh itu terbaring.
5 When Iesus sawe their fayth he sayde to the sicke of the palsie sonne thy sinnes are forgeven the.
Ketika Yesus melihat iman mereka, berkatalah Ia kepada orang lumpuh itu: "Hai anak-Ku, dosamu sudah diampuni!"
6 And ther were certayne of ye scribes sittinge there and reasoninge in their hertes:
Tetapi di situ ada juga duduk beberapa ahli Taurat, mereka berpikir dalam hatinya:
7 how doeth this felowe so blaspheme? Who can forgeve synnes but God only?
"Mengapa orang ini berkata begitu? Ia menghujat Allah. Siapa yang dapat mengampuni dosa selain dari pada Allah sendiri?"
8 And immediatly whe Iesus perceaved in his sprete yt they so reasoned in the selves he sayde vnto them: why thynke ye soche thinges in youre hertes?
Tetapi Yesus segera mengetahui dalam hati-Nya, bahwa mereka berpikir demikian, lalu Ia berkata kepada mereka: "Mengapa kamu berpikir begitu dalam hatimu?
9 Whether is it easyer to saye to ye sicke of ye palsie thy synnes are forgeven the or to saye aryse take vp thy beed and walke?
Manakah lebih mudah, mengatakan kepada orang lumpuh ini: Dosamu sudah diampuni, atau mengatakan: Bangunlah, angkatlah tilammu dan berjalan?
10 That ye maye knowe yt the sonne of man hath power in erth to forgeve synnes he spake vnto ye sicke of the palsie:
Tetapi supaya kamu tahu, bahwa di dunia ini Anak Manusia berkuasa mengampuni dosa" --berkatalah Ia kepada orang lumpuh itu--:
11 I saye vnto ye aryse and take vp thy beed and get ye hense into thyne awne housse.
"Kepadamu Kukatakan, bangunlah, angkatlah tempat tidurmu dan pulanglah ke rumahmu!"
12 And by and by he arose toke vp the beed and went forth before them all: in so moche that they were all amased and glorified God sayinge: we never sawe it on this fassion.
Dan orang itupun bangun, segera mengangkat tempat tidurnya dan pergi ke luar di hadapan orang-orang itu, sehingga mereka semua takjub lalu memuliakan Allah, katanya: "Yang begini belum pernah kita lihat."
13 And he went agayne vnto the see and all the people resorted vnto him and he taught the.
Sesudah itu Yesus pergi lagi ke pantai danau, dan seluruh orang banyak datang kepada-Nya, lalu Ia mengajar mereka.
14 And as Iesus passed by he sawe Levy ye sonne of Alphey syt at the receyte of custome and sayde vnto him: folowe me. And he arose and folowed him.
Kemudian ketika Ia berjalan lewat di situ, Ia melihat Lewi anak Alfeus duduk di rumah cukai lalu Ia berkata kepadanya: "Ikutlah Aku!" Maka berdirilah Lewi lalu mengikuti Dia.
15 And it came to passe as Iesus sate at meate in his housse many publicans and synners sate at meate also with Iesus and his disciples. For there were many that folowed him.
Kemudian ketika Yesus makan di rumah orang itu, banyak pemungut cukai dan orang berdosa makan bersama-sama dengan Dia dan murid-murid-Nya, sebab banyak orang yang mengikuti Dia.
16 And when the Scribes and Pharises sawe him eate with publicas and synnere they sayde vnto his disciples: how is it that he eateth and drynketh with publicas and synners?
Pada waktu ahli-ahli Taurat dari golongan Farisi melihat, bahwa Ia makan dengan pemungut cukai dan orang berdosa itu, berkatalah mereka kepada murid-murid-Nya: "Mengapa Ia makan bersama-sama dengan pemungut cukai dan orang berdosa?"
17 When Iesus hearde yt he sayde vnto them. The whole have no nede of the phisicio but the sicke. I came not to call the rightwise but the synners to repentaunce.
Yesus mendengarnya dan berkata kepada mereka: "Bukan orang sehat yang memerlukan tabib, tetapi orang sakit; Aku datang bukan untuk memanggil orang benar, melainkan orang berdosa."
18 And the disciples of Iohn and the Pharises dyd faste: and therfore came and sayde vnto him. Why do ye disciples of Iohn and of the Pharises faste and thy disciples fast not.
Pada suatu kali ketika murid-murid Yohanes dan orang-orang Farisi sedang berpuasa, datanglah orang-orang dan mengatakan kepada Yesus: "Mengapa murid-murid Yohanes dan murid-murid orang Farisi berpuasa, tetapi murid-murid-Mu tidak?"
19 And Iesus sayde vnto them: can the chyldren of a weddinge faste while the brydgrome is wt them. As longe as they have the brydgrome with them they cannot faste.
Jawab Yesus kepada mereka: "Dapatkah sahabat-sahabat mempelai laki-laki berpuasa sedang mempelai itu bersama mereka? Selama mempelai itu bersama mereka, mereka tidak dapat berpuasa.
20 But the dayes will come when the brydgrome shalbe taken from them and then shall they faste in those dayes.
Tetapi waktunya akan datang mempelai itu diambil dari mereka, dan pada waktu itulah mereka akan berpuasa.
21 Also no ma soweth a pece of newe cloth vnto an olde garmet for then taketh he awaye ye newe pece fro the olde and so is the rent worsse.
Tidak seorangpun menambalkan secarik kain yang belum susut pada baju yang tua, karena jika demikian kain penambal itu akan mencabiknya, yang baru mencabik yang tua, lalu makin besarlah koyaknya.
22 In lyke wyse no man poureth newe wyne into olde vessels: for yf he do the newe wyne breaketh the vessels and the wyne runneth out and the vessels are marred. But new wyne must be poured into new vessels.
Demikian juga tidak seorangpun mengisikan anggur yang baru ke dalam kantong kulit yang tua, karena jika demikian anggur itu akan mengoyakkan kantong itu, sehingga anggur itu dan kantongnya dua-duanya terbuang. Tetapi anggur yang baru hendaknya disimpan dalam kantong yang baru pula."
23 And it chaunsed that he wet thorow ye corne feldes on the Saboth daye: and his disciples as they went on their waye beganne to plucke the eares of corne.
Pada suatu kali, pada hari Sabat, Yesus berjalan di ladang gandum, dan sementara berjalan murid-murid-Nya memetik bulir gandum.
24 And the Pharises sayde vnto him: beholde why do they on the Saboth dayes yt which is not laufull?
Maka kata orang-orang Farisi kepada-Nya: "Lihat! Mengapa mereka berbuat sesuatu yang tidak diperbolehkan pada hari Sabat?"
25 And he sayde to them: have ye never rede what David dyd when he had nede and was anhogred bothe he and they that were with him?
Jawab-Nya kepada mereka: "Belum pernahkah kamu baca apa yang dilakukan Daud, ketika ia dan mereka yang mengikutinya kekurangan dan kelaparan,
26 How he went into the housse of God in the dayes of Abiathar ye hye preste and dyd eate ye halowed loves which is not laufull to eate but for ye prestes only: and gave also to the which were with him?
bagaimana ia masuk ke dalam Rumah Allah waktu Abyatar menjabat sebagai Imam Besar lalu makan roti sajian itu--yang tidak boleh dimakan kecuali oleh imam-imam--dan memberinya juga kepada pengikut-pengikutn
27 And he sayde to them: the Saboth daye was made for man and not man for the Saboth daye.
Lalu kata Yesus kepada mereka: "Hari Sabat diadakan untuk manusia dan bukan manusia untuk hari Sabat,
28 Wherfore the sonne of man is Lorde eve of the Saboth daye.
jadi Anak Manusia adalah juga Tuhan atas hari Sabat."
