Luke 9
1 Then called he the. xii. to gether and gave them power and auctorite over all devyls and that they myght heale diseases.
၁တကျိပ်နှစ်ပါးသော တပည့်တော်တို့ကို စုဝေးစေတော်မူပြီးမှ၊ နတ်ဆိုးအပေါင်းတို့ကို နိုင်သောတန်ခိုး နှင့် အနာရောဂါတို့ကို ငြိမ်းစေခြင်းငှါ အခွင့်တန်ခိုးကို ပေးတော်မူ၏။
2 And he sent them to preache the kyngdome of God and to cure the sick.
၂ဘုရားသခင်၏ နိုင်ငံတော်အကြောင်းကို ဟောပြောစေခြင်းငှါ၎င်း၊ လူနာတို့ကို ချမ်းသာစေခြင်းငှါ၎င်း စေလွှတ်တော်မူ၍၊
3 And he sayd to them: Take nothinge to sucker you by ye waye: nether staffe nor scripe nether breed nether money nether have twoo cootes.
၃သင်တို့သည် လမ်းခရီးဘို့ အဘယ်အရာကိုမျှမယူကြနှင့်။ တောင်ဝေး၊ လွယ်အိတ်၊ မုန့်၊ ငွေကို မယူကြ နှင့်။ အင်္ကျီနှစ်ထည်ကိုလည်း မပါစေကြနှင့်။
4 And whatsoever housse ye enter into there abyde and thence departe.
၄မည်သည့် အိမ်သို့ဝင်လျှင် ထိုအိမ်တွင် ထိုအရပ်မှ မထွက်မသွားမှီတိုင်အောင်နေကြလော့။ အကြင်သူ တို့သည် သင်တို့အားဧည့်သည်ဝတ်ကို မပြုဘဲနေ၏။
5 And whosoever will not receave you when ye go out of that cite shake of the very dust from youre fete for a testimony agaynst them.
၅ထိုသူတို့နေရာမြို့မှ ထွက်သွားစဉ်၊ သူတို့တဘက်၌ သက်သေဖြစ်စေခြင်းငှါ သင်တို့၏ခြေဘဝါးမှ မြေမှုန့်ကို ခါလိုက်ကြလော့ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
6 And they went out and went thorow the tounes preachinge the gospell and healynge every wheare.
၆တပည့်တော်တို့သည် ထွက်သွား၍ ဧဝံဂေလိတရားကို ဟောလျက်၊ ခပ်သိမ်းသောအရပ်တို့၌ အနာ ရောဂါကိုငြိမ်းစေလျက်၊ မြို့ရွာတို့တွင် ဒေသစာရီ လှည့်လည်ကြ၏။
7 And Herod the tetrarch herde of all that was done of him and douted because that it was sayde of some that Iohn was rysen agayne from deeth:
၇ယေရှုပြုတော်မူသမျှတို့ကို စော်ဘွားဟေရုဒ်သည်ကြားလျှင် တွေးတောသောစိတ်ရှိ၏။ အကြောင်းမူ ကား၊ လူအချို့က၊ ယောဟန်သည် သေခြင်းမှထမြောက်လေပြီဟု ဆိုကြ၏။
8 and of some that Helyas had apered: and of other that one of the olde prophetes was rysen agayne.
၈အချို့ကဧလိယပေါ်ထွန်းပြီဟု ဆိုကြ၏။ အချို့ကရှေးပရောဖက်တပါးပါးထပြန်ပြီဟုဆိုကြ၏။
9 And Herod sayde: Iohn have I behedded: who then is this of whom I heare suche thinges? And he desyred to se him.
၉ဟေရုဒ်မင်းကလည်း၊ ယောဟန်၏လည်ပင်းကို ငါဖြတ်လေပြီ။ ဤမျှလောက်သောသိတင်းကို ငါကြား ရသော ဤသူကား အဘယ်သူနည်းဟုဆိုလျက်ယေရှုကို မြင်ခြင်းငှါ အလိုရှိ၏။
10 And the Apostles retourned and tolde him what great thinges they had done. And he toke them and went a syde into a solitary place nye to a citie called Bethsaida.
၁၀တမန်တော်တို့သည် အထံတော်သို့ပြန်လာ၍ မိမိတို့ပြုသမျှတို့ကို ကြားလျှောက်ကြ၏။ ကိုယ်တော် သည် သူတို့ကိုခေါ်၍၊ ဗက်ဇဲဒမြို့နယ်အတွင်း တော၌ဆိတ်ကွယ်ရာအရပ်သို့ကြွတော်မူ၏။ လူအစုအဝေးတို့ သည် သိလျှင် နောက်တော်သို့ လိုက်ကြ၏။
11 And ye people knewe of it and folowed him. And he receaved them and spake vnto them of the kyngdome of God and healed them that had nede to be healed.
၁၁ထိုလူများကို လက်ခံတော်မူလျက်၊ ဘုရားသခင့် နိုင်ငံတော်၏အကြောင်းကို ဟောပြော၍၊ နာသော သူတို့ကို ချမ်းသာပေးတော်မူ၏။
12 And when ye daye beganne to weare awaye then came the twelve and sayde vnto him: sende ye people awaye that they maye goo into the tounes and villages roundabout and lodge and get meate for we are here in a place of wyldernes.
၁၂မိုဃ်းချုပ်သောအခါ တကျိပ်နှစ်ပါးသောသူတို့သည် ချည်းကပ်လျက်၊ လူများတို့သည် ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ရွာ ဇနပုဒ်သို့သွား၍၊ အိပ်ရာ၊ စားစရာကို ရှာစေခြင်းငှါ အခွင့်ပေးတော်မူပါ။ ဤအရပ်သည် တောအရပ်ဖြစ်ပါ၏ ဟု လျှောက်ကြလျှင်၊
13 But he sayde vnto them: Geve ye the to eate. And they sayde. We have no moo but fyve loves and two fisshes except we shuld goo and bye meate for all this people.
၁၃ကိုယ်တော်က၊ သူတို့စားစရာဘို့ သင်တို့ပေးကြလော့ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ တပည့်တော်တို့ကလည်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည်သွား၍ ဤလူအပေါင်းတို့ စားစရာဘို့မဝယ်လျှင်၊ မုန့်ငါးလုံးနှင့် ငါးနှစ်ကောင်မှတပါး အဘယ် စားစရာမျှ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့၌ မရှိပါဟုလျှောက်ကြ၏။
14 And they were about a fyve thousand men. And he sayde to his disciples: Cause them to syt doune by fyfties in a company.
၁၄ထိုသို့လျှောက်သည်အကြောင်းကား၊ လူငါးထောင်ခန့်မျှ ရှိသတည်း။ ထိုအခါလူများတို့ကို တစုလျှင် ငါးဆယ်စီအစုစုလျောင်းကြစေဟု အမိန့်တော်ရှိ၏။
15 And they dyd soo and made them all syt doune.
၁၅တပည့်တော်တို့သည် အမိန့်တော်အတိုင်းပြု၍၊ လူအပေါင်းတို့ကို လျောင်းစေပြီးလျှင်၊
16 And he toke the fyve loves and the two fisshes and loked vp to heven and blessed them and brake and gave to the disciples to set before ye people.
၁၆ယေရှုသည် မုန့်ငါးလုံးနှင့် ငါးနှစ်ကောင်ကိုယူ၍ ကောင်းကင်သို့ကြည့်မျှော်လျက်၊ ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းပြီးမှ မုန့်ကိုဖဲ့၍ လူများရှေ့၌ ထည့်စေခြင်းငှါ တပည့်တော်တို့အားပေးတော်မူ၏။
17 And they ate and were all satisfied. And ther was taken vp of that remayned to the twelve baskettes full of broken meate.
၁၇လူအပေါင်းတို့သည် စား၍ဝကြပြီးမှ ကြွင်းရစ်သောအကျိုးအပဲ့ကိုကောက်သိမ်း၍ တဆယ်နှစ်တောင်း အပြည့်ရကြ၏။
18 And it fortuned as he was alone prayinge his disciples were wt him and he axed the sayinge: Who saye ye people yt I am?
၁၈တရံရောအခါ၊ ယေရှုသည် တပည့်တော်တို့နှင့်တကွ ဆိတ်ကွယ်ရာအရပ်၌ ဆုတောင်းတော်မူစဉ်၊ လူများတို့သည် ငါ့ကိုအဘယ်သူဖြစ်သည်ကို ဆိုကြသနည်းဟု မေးမြန်းတော်မူလျှင်၊
19 They answered and sayd: Iohn Baptist. Some saye Helyas. And some saye one of the olde prophetes is rysen agayne.
၁၉လူအချို့က၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် ဗတ္တိဇံဆရာ ယောဟန်ဖြစ်သည်ဟူ၍၎င်း၊ အချို့က၊ ဧလိယဖြစ်သည် ဟူ၍၎င်း၊ အချို့က၊ ရှေးပရောဖက် တပါးပါးထပြန်သည်ဟူ၍၎င်း ဆိုကြပါ၏ဟု လျှောက်ကြသော်၊
20 He sayde vnto the: Who saye ye that I am? Peter answered and sayde: thou arte the Christ of god.
၂၀သင်တို့လည်း ငါ့ကို အဘယ်သူဖြစ်သည်ဆိုကြသနည်းဟု မေးမြန်းတော်မူလျှင်၊ ပေတရုက၊ ကိုယ်တော် သည် ဘုရားသခင်၏ ခရစ်တော်ဖြစ်တော်မူသည်ဟု လျှောက်လေ၏။
21 And he warned and commaunded them that they shuld tell no man yt thinge
၂၁ထိုအကြောင်းကို အဘယ်သူအားမျှ မပြောစိမ့်သောငှါ တပည့်တော်တို့ကို ကြပ်တည်းစွာ ပညတ်တော် မူ၏။
22 sayinge: that the sonne of man must suffre many thinges and be reproved of the elders and of the hye prestes and scribes and be slayne and the thirde daye ryse agayne.
၂၂ထိုမှတပါး၊ လူသားသည် များစွာခံရမည်။ လူအကြီးအကဲ၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်အကြီး၊ ကျမ်းပြုဆရာတို့၏ ငြင်းပယ်ခြင်းကို၎င်း၊ အသေသတ်ခြင်းကို၎င်း ခံရမည်။ သုံးရက်မြောက်သောနေ့၌ ထမြောက်လိမ့်မည်ဟူသော အကြောင်းများတို့ကို မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
23 And he sayde to them all yf eny man will come after me let him denye him sylfe and take vp his crosse dayly and folowe me.
၂၃ထိုမှတပါး၊ လူအပေါင်းတို့အား မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ငါ၌ဆည်းကပ်လိုသောသူဖြစ်လျှင် ကိုယ်ကို ကိုယ် ငြင်းပယ်ရမည်။ ကိုယ်လက်ဝါးကပ်တိုင်ကို နေ့တိုင်းထမ်း၍ ငါ့နောက်သို့လိုက်ရမည်။
24 Whosoever will save his lyfe shall lose it. And who soever shall lose his lyfe for my sake the same shall save it.
၂၄အကြင်သူသည် မိမိအသက်ကို ကယ်ဆယ်ခြင်းငှါ အလိုရှိ၏။ ထိုသူသည် အသက်ရှုံးလိမ့်မည်။ အကြင်သူသည် ငါ့ကြောင့်အသက်ရှုံး၏၊ ထိုသူသည် မိမိအသက်ကို ကယ်ဆယ်လိမ့်မည်။
25 For what avauntageth it a man to wynne the whole worlde yf he loose him sylfe or runne in domage of him sylfe?
၂၅ဤစကြာဝဠာကို အကြွင်းမဲ့အစိုးရ၍ ကိုယ်ကို ကိုယ်ဆုံးရှုံးသောသူသည် အဘယ်ကျေးဇူးရှိသနည်။
26 For whosoever is ashamed of me and of my sayinges: of him shall the sonne of man be ashamed when he cometh in his awne glorie and in the glorie of his father and of the holy angels.
၂၆အကြင်သူသည် ငါ့ကို၎င်း၊ ငါ့စကားကို၎င်းရှက်၏၊ လူသားသည် မိမိဘုန်း၊ မိမိအဘခမည်းတော်၏ ဘုန်း၊ သန့်ရှင်းသောကောင်းကင်တမန်တို့၏ဘုန်းကို ဆောင်လျက်ကြွလာသောအခါ၊ ထိုသူကို ရှက်တော် မူလတံ့။
27 And I tell you of a surety: There be some of the yt stonde here which shall not tast of deeth tyll they se ye kyngdome of god.
၂၇ငါအမှန်ဆိုသည်ကား၊ ဤအရပ်၌ရှိသော သူအချို့တို့သည် ဘုရားသခင်၏ နိုင်ငံတော်ကို မမြင်မှီ သေ ခြင်းသို့ မရောက်ရကြဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
28 And it folowed about an. viii. dayes after thoose sayinges that he toke Peter Iames and Iohn and went vp into a moutayne to praye.
၂၈ထိုသို့မိန့်တော်မူသည်နောက်၊ ရှစ်ရက်လောက်လွန်သောအခါ၊ ယေရှုသည်ပေတရု၊ ယောဟန်၊ ယာကုပ် တို့ကိုခေါ်၍ ဆုတောင်းခြင်းငှါ တောင်ပေါ်သို့ တက်ကြွတော်မူ၏။
29 And as he prayed ye facion of his countenaunce was changed and his garment was whyte and shoone.
၂၉ဆုတောင်းတော်မူစဉ်တွင် မျက်နှာတော်သည် ထူးခြားသောအဆင်းအရောင်ရှိ၍၊ အဝတ်တော်လည်း ပြောင်ပြောင်လက်လက်ဖြူ၏။
30 And beholde two men talked wt him and they were Moses and Helyas
၃၀မောရှေနှင့်ဧလိယတည်းဟူသော လူနှစ်ယောက်တို့သည် ဘုန်းအသရေနှင့်ထင်ရှား၍၊
31 which appered gloriously and spake of his departinge which he shuld ende at Ierusalem.
၃၁ကိုယ်တော်နှင့်အတူဆွေးနွေးလျက် ယေရုရှလင်မြို့၌ စုတေ့တော်မူမည်အကြောင်းအရာကို ပြော ကြ၏။
32 Peter and they that were with him were hevy with slepe. And when they woke they sawe his glorie and two men stondinge with him.
၃၂ပေတရုနှင့် သူ၏အဘော်တို့သည် မျက်စိလေးလန်သဖြင့် တငိုက်ငိုက်ရှိကြ၏၊ နိုးသောအခါ ဘုန်း အသရေတော်ကို၎င်း၊ ကိုယ်တော်နှင့် ရပ်နေသောလူနှစ်ယောက်ကို၎င်း မြင်ကြ၏။
33 And it chaunsed as they departed fro him Peter sayde vnto Iesus: Master it is good beinge here for vs. Let vs make thre tabernacles one for the and one for Moses and one for Helyas: and wist not what he sayde.
၃၃ထိုသူတို့သည် အထံတော်မှသွားကြစဉ်၊ ပေတရုက၊ သခင်၊ ဤအရပ်၌နေဘွယ်ကောင်းပါ၏။ ကိုယ် တော်ဘို့တဲတဆောင်၊ မောရှေဘို့တဆောင်။ ဧလိယဘို့တဆောင်၊ တဲသုံးဆောင်ကို အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ ဆောက်လုပ် ပါရစေဟု ယောင်ယမ်း၍ လျှောက်လေ၏။
34 Whyll he thus spake ther came a cloude and shadowed them: and they feared when they were come vnder the cloude.
၃၄ထိုသို့လျှောက်ပြီးမှ မိုဃ်းတိမ်သည် သူတို့ကိုလွှမ်းမိုး၍၊ မောရှေနှင့် ဧလိယသည်တိမ်ထဲသို့ဝင်သည်ကို တပည့်တော်တို့သည် ကြောက်ခြင်းရှိကြသည်ဖြစ်၍၊
35 And ther came a voyce out of the cloude sayinge: This is my deare sonne heare him.
၃၅ဤသူကား ငါ၏ချစ်သားပေတည်း။ သူ၏ စကားကိုနားထောင်ကြလော့ဟု မိုဃ်းတိမ်က အသံတော် ဖြစ်လေ၏။
36 And assone as ye voyce was past Iesus was founde alone. And they kept it cloose and tolde noo man in thoose dayes eny of those thinges which they had sene.
၃၆ထိုအသံတော်ဖြစ်သည် ခဏခြင်းတွင်၊ ယေရှုသည် တယောက်တည်းရှိတော်မူ၏။ တပည့်တော်တို့ သည် မိမိတို့မြင်သောအရာကိုဝှက်ထား၍၊ ထိုကာလ၌ အဘယ်သူအားမျှမကြားမပြောဘဲနေကြ၏။
37 And it chaunsed on the nexte daye as they came doune from the hyll moche people met him.
၃၇နက်ဖြန်နေ့၌ တောင်ပေါ်ကဆင်းကြပြီးလျှင်၊ များစွာသောလူအစုအဝေးသည် ကိုယ်တော်ကို ခရီး ဦးကြိုပြု၏။
38 And beholde a man of the copany cryed out sayinge: Master I beseche ye beholde my sonne for he is all that I have:
၃၈လူအစုအဝေး၌ ပါသောသူတယောက်က၊ အရှင်ဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်၏သားကို ကြည့်ရှုတော်မူမည် အကြောင်း အကျွန်ုပ်တောင်းပန်ပါ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ်၌ သားတယောက်တည်းရှိပါ၏။
39 and se a sprete taketh him and sodenly he cryeth and he teareth him that he fometh agayne and with moche payne departeth fro him when he hath rent him and
၃၉နတ်ဘမ်းစားသဖြင့် သူသည်ရုတ်ခနဲအော်ဟစ်၍၊ အမြှုတ်ထွက်လျက်တောင့်မာခြင်းသို့ ရောက်တတ် ပါ၏။ ထိုသို့ နာကျင်စွာနှိပ်စက်ပြီးမှ နတ်သည်အလွန် သွားခဲ၏။
40 I besought thy disciples to cast him out and they coulde not.
၄၀ထိုနတ်ကို နှင်ထုတ်ပါမည်အကြောင်း တပည့်တော်တို့အား အကျွန်ုပ်တောင်းပန်သော်လည်း သူတို့ သည် မတတ်နိုင်ကြပါဟု အော်ဟစ်လျက် လျှောက်လေ၏။
41 Iesus answered and sayde: O generacion with oute fayth and croked: how longe shall I be with you? and shall suffre you? Bringe thy sonne hidder.
၄၁ယေရှုကလည်း၊ ယုံကြည်ခြင်းမရှိ၊ ဖောက်ပြန်သောအမျိုး၊ ငါသည်သင်တို့နှင့်အတူ အဘယ်မျှ ကာလ ပတ်လုံး နေရမည်နည်း။ သင်တို့ကို အဘယ်မျှ ကာလပတ်လုံး သည်းခံရမည်နည်း။ သင်၏သားကို ငါ့ထံသို့ ယူခဲ့ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
42 As he yet was a cominge the fende ret him and tare him. And Iesus rebuked ye vnclene sprete and healed the childe and delivered him to his father.
၄၂သူငယ်လာစဉ်ပင်နတ်ဆိုးသည် မြေပေါ်မှာလှဲ၍ တောင့်မာစေ၏။ ယေရှုသည် ညစ်ညူးသောနတ်ကို ဆုံးမ၍ ထိုသူငယ်ကို ချမ်းသာစေပြီးမှ အဘအား အပ်ပေးတော်မူ၏။
43 And they were all amased at ye mighty power of God. Whyll they wondred every one at all thinges which he dyd he sayd vnto his disciples:
၄၃လူအပေါင်းတို့သည် ဘုရားသခင်၏ မဟာတန်ခိုးတော်ကို မြင်၍ မိန်းမောတွေဝေခြင်းရှိကြ၏။
44 Let these sayinges synke doune into youre eares. The tyme will come when the sonne of man shalbe delivered into the hondes of men.
၄၄ထိုသို့ယေရှုပြုတော်မူသမျှကို လူအပေါင်းတို့သည် အံ့ဩချီးမွမ်းကြစဉ် တပည့်တော်တို့အား၊ သင်တို့ သည် ငါ့စကားကို နားထောင်မှတ်မိကြလော့။ လူသားကို လူတို့လက်သို့ အပ်နှံရသောအချိန်နီးပြီဟု မိန့်တော် မူ၏။
45 But they wist not what yt worde meant and yt was hyd fro the that they vnderstode yt not. And they feared to axe him of that sayinge.
၄၅ထိုစကားတော်၏ အနက်မထင်ရှားသဖြင့် တပည့်တော်တို့သည် နားမလည်မရိပ်မိဘဲနေကြ၏။ အနက် ကိုလည်းမမေးမလျှောက်ဝံ့ကြ။
46 Then ther arose a disputacion amoge the: who shuld be the greatest.
၄၆ထိုအခါ အဘယ်သူသည် သာ၍ကြီးမြတ်အံ့နည်းဟု တပည့်တော်တို့သည် အချင်းချင်းငြင်းခုံကြ၏။
47 When Iesus perceaved ye thoughtes of their hertes he toke a chylde and set him hard by him
၄၇ယေရှုသည် သူတို့အကြံအစည်ကို သိမြင်လျှင်၊ သူငယ်တယောက်ကိုယူ၍ မိမိအနား၌ထားပြီးမှ၊
48 and sayd vnto the: Whosoever receaveth this chylde in my name receaveth me. And whosoever receaveth me receaveth him yt sent me. For he yt is least amonge you all the same shalbe greate.
၄၈အကြင်သူသည် ငါ့မျက်နှာကိုထောက်၍ ဤသူငယ်ကိုလက်ခံ၏၊ ထိုသူသည် ငါ့ကိုပင်လက်ခံ၏။ ငါ့ကို လက်ခံသောသူသည်လည်း ငါ့ကိုစေလွှတ်တော်မူသောသူကိုပင်လက်ခံ၏။ သင်တို့တွင် အငယ်ဆုံး သောသူ သည်သာ၍ကြီးမြတ်သော သူဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
49 And Iohn answered and sayde: Master we sawe one castinge out devyls in thy name and we forbade him because he foloweth not with vs.
၄၉ယောဟန်ကလည်း၊ သခင်၊ ကိုယ်တော်၏ နာမကို အမှီပြု၍ နတ်ဆိုးတို့ကို နှင်ထုတ်သောသူ တယောက်ကို အကျွန်ုပ်တို့တွေ့ပါ၏။ သူသည် အကျွန်ုပ်တို့နှင့်အတူ မလိုက်သောကြောင့် အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ မြစ် တားကြပါ၏ဟု လျှောက်သော်၊
50 And Iesus sayde vnto him: forbyd ye him not. For he that is not agaynst vs is wt vs.
၅၀ယေရှုက၊ ထိုသူကိုမမြစ်တားကြနှင့်။ သင်တို့ ရန်သူဘက်၌မရှိသောသူသည် သင်တို့ဘက်၌ရှိသည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
51 And it folowed when the tyme was come yt he shulde be receaved vp then he set his face to goo to Hierusalem
၅၁ကောင်းကင်သို့ဆောင်ယူခြင်းကို ခံတော်မူသောအချိန်ရောက်သောအခါ၊ ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သို့ တူရူကြွ အံ့သောငှါ သဘောထားတော်မူ၏။
52 and sent messengers before him. And they went and entred into a citie of the Samaritans to make redy for him.
၅၂ရှေ့တော်သို့ တမန်တော်တို့ကို စေလွှတ်တော်မူသဖြင့်၊ သူတို့သည် ကိုယ်တော်၏အဘို့ကို ပြင်ဆင် ခြင်းငှါသွား၍ ရှမာရိရွာတရွာသို့ဝင်ကြ၏။
53 But they wolde not receave him be cause his face was as though he wolde goo to Ierusalem.
၅၃ကိုယ်တော်သည် ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သို့သွားအံ့သော အခြင်းအရာကို ထိုရွာသားတို့သည် ထောက်၍ လက်မခံကြ။
54 When his disciples Iames and Iohn sawe yt they sayde: Lorde wilt thou that we comaunde that fyre come doune from heven and consume them even as Helias dyd?
၅၄ထိုအကြောင်းကို တပည့်တော်ယာကုပ်၊ ယောဟန်တို့သည်မြင်လျှင်၊ သခင်၊ ဧလိယပြုသကဲ့သို့ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ကောင်းကင်မှမီးကျစေ၍ ထိုသူတို့ကို လောင်းစေခြင်းငှါ အလိုရှိတော်မူသလောဟု လျှောက် ကြသော်၊
55 Iesus turned about and rebuked them sayinge: ye wote not what maner sprete ye are of.
၅၅ယေရှုသည် လှည့်ကြည့်၍၊ သင်တို့သည် ကိုယ်စိတ်သဘောကို ကိုယ်မသိကြ၊ လူသားသည်လူတို့၏ အသက်ကို သတ်အံ့သောငှါ ကြွလာသည်မဟုတ်။ ကယ်တင်အံ့သောငှါကြွလာသည်ဟု ဆုံးမတော်မူပြီးမှ၊
56 The sonne of ma ys not come to destroye mennes lives but to save them. And they went to another toune.
၅၆အခြားသောရွာသို့ကြွတော်မူ၏။
57 And it chaunsed as he went in the waye a certayne man sayd vnto him: I will folowe the whither soever thou goo.
၅၇လမ်း၌သွားကြစဉ် လူတဦးက၊ သခင် ကိုယ်တော်ကြွတော်မူရာအရပ်ရပ်သို့ အကျွန်ုပ်လိုက်ပါမည်ဟု လျှောက်လေ၏။
58 Iesus sayd vnto him: foxes have holes and bryddes of ye ayer have nestes: but the sonne of man hath not where on to laye his heed.
၅၈ယေရှုကလည်း၊ မြေခွေးသည်မြေတွင်းရှိ၏။ မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်၌ ကျင်လည်သော ငှက်သည် နားနေရာ အရပ်ရှိ၏ လူသားမူကား ခေါင်းချရာမျှမရှိဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
59 And he sayde vnto another: folowe me. And the same sayde: Lorde suffre me fyrst to goo and bury my father.
၅၉အခြားသောသူကို၊ ငါ့နောက်သို့လိုက်လော့ဟု မိန့်တော်မူလျှင်၊ ထိုသူက၊ သခင်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်အဘကို ရှေ့ဦးစွာသွား၍ သင်္ဂြိုဟ်ရသောအခွင့်ကို ပေးတော်မူပါဟု လျှောက်လေသော်၊
60 Iesus sayd vnto him: Let the deed bury their deed: but goo thou and preache the kyngdome of God.
၆၀ယေရှုက၊ လူသေတို့သည် မိမိလူသေတို့ကို သင်္ဂြိုဟ်ပါလေစေ။ သင်မူကားသွား၍ ဘုရားသခင့်နိုင်ငံ တော်၏အကြောင်းကို ဟောပြောလော့ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
61 And another sayde: I wyll folowe the Lorde: but let me fyrst goo byd them fare well which are at home at my housse.
၆၁အခြားသောသူကလည်း၊ သခင်၊ ကိုယ်တော်နောက်သို့ အကျွန်ုပ်လိုက်ပါမည်။ သို့သော်လည်း အကျွန်ုပ်အိမ်၌ရှိရစ်သောသူတို့ကို အရင်သွား၍ အခွင့်ပန်ပါရစေဟု လျှောက်လျှင်၊
62 Iesus sayde vnto him: No man that putteth his honde to the plowe and loketh backe is apte to the kyngdome of God.
၆၂ယေရှုက၊ ထွန်ကိုင်းကို ကိုင်လျက်နောက်သို့ လှည့်၍ကြည့်သောသူမည်သည်ကား၊ ဘုရားသခင်၏ နိုင်ငံတော်နှင့် မထိုက်မတန်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
