Luke 16
1 And he sayd also vnto his disciples. Ther was a certayne rych man which had a stewarde that was acused vnto him that he had wasted his goodes.
อปรญฺจ ยีศุ: ศิเษฺยโภฺยนฺยาเมกำ กถำ กถยามาส กสฺยจิทฺ ธนวโต มนุษฺยสฺย คฺฤหการฺยฺยาธีเศ สมฺปตฺเตรปวฺยเย'ปวาทิเต สติ
2 And he called him and sayd vnto him: How is it that I heare this of the? Geve a comptes of thy steward shippe: For thou mayste be no longer stewarde.
ตสฺย ปฺรภุสฺตมฺ อาหูย ชคาท, ตฺวยิ ยามิมำ กถำ ศฺฤโณมิ สา กีทฺฤศี? ตฺวํ คฺฤหการฺยฺยาธีศกรฺมฺมโณ คณนำ ทรฺศย คฺฤหการฺยฺยาธีศปเท ตฺวํ น สฺถาสฺยสิฯ
3 The stewarde sayd wt in him selfe: what shall I do? for my master will take awaye fro me ye stewarde shippe. I canot digge and to begge I am ashamed.
ตทา ส คฺฤหการฺยฺยาธีโศ มนสา จินฺตยามาส, ปฺรภุ รฺยทิ มำ คฺฤหการฺยฺยาธีศปทาทฺ ภฺรํศยติ ตรฺหิ กึ กริเษฺย'หํ? มฺฤทํ ขนิตุํ มม ศกฺติ รฺนาสฺติ ภิกฺษิตุญฺจ ลชฺชิเษฺย'หํฯ
4 I woote what to do yt when I am put out of ye stewardshippe they maye receave me into their houses.
อเตอว มยิ คฺฤหการฺยฺยาธีศปทาตฺ จฺยุเต สติ ยถา โลกา มหฺยมฺ อาศฺรยํ ทาสฺยนฺติ ตทรฺถํ ยตฺกรฺมฺม มยา กรณียํ ตนฺ นิรฺณียเตฯ
5 Then called he all his masters detters and sayd vnto ye fyrst: how moche owest thou vnto my master?
ปศฺจาตฺ ส สฺวปฺรโภเรไกกมฺ อธมรฺณมฺ อาหูย ปฺรถมํ ปปฺรจฺฉ, ตฺวตฺโต เม ปฺรภุณา กติ ปฺราปฺยมฺ?
6 And he sayd: an hondred tonnes of oyle. And he sayd to him: take thy bill and syt doune quickly and wryte fiftie.
ตต: ส อุวาจ, เอกศตาฒกไตลานิ; ตทา คฺฤหการฺยฺยาธีศ: โปฺรวาจ, ตว ปตฺรมานีย ศีฆฺรมุปวิศฺย ตตฺร ปญฺจาศตํ ลิขฯ
7 Then sayd he to another: what owest thou? And he sayde: an hondred quarters of wheate. He sayd to him: Take thy bill and write foure scoore.
ปศฺจาทนฺยเมกํ ปปฺรจฺฉ, ตฺวตฺโต เม ปฺรภุณา กติ ปฺราปฺยมฺ? ตต: โสวาทีทฺ เอกศตาฒกโคธูมา: ; ตทา ส กถยามาส, ตว ปตฺรมานีย อศีตึ ลิขฯ
8 And the lorde comended the vniust stewarde because he had done wysly. For ye chyldren of this worlde are in their kynde wyser then ye chyldren of lyght. (aiōn g165)
เตไนว ปฺรภุสฺตมยถารฺถกฺฤตมฺ อธีศํ ตทฺพุทฺธิไนปุณฺยาตฺ ปฺรศศํส; อิตฺถํ ทีปฺติรูปสนฺตาเนภฺย เอตตฺสํสารสฺย สนฺตานา วรฺตฺตมานกาเล'ธิกพุทฺธิมนฺโต ภวนฺติฯ (aiōn g165)
9 And I saye also vnto you: make you frendes of the wicked mammon that when ye shall departe they may receave you into everlastinge habitacions. (aiōnios g166)
อโต วทามิ ยูยมปฺยยถารฺเถน ธเนน มิตฺราณิ ลภธฺวํ ตโต ยุษฺมาสุ ปทภฺรษฺเฏษฺวปิ ตานิ จิรกาลมฺ อาศฺรยํ ทาสฺยนฺติฯ (aiōnios g166)
10 He that is faithfull in that which is leste ye same is faithfull in moche. And he yt is vnfaithfull in ye least: is vnfaithfull also in moche.
ย: กศฺจิตฺ กฺษุเทฺร การฺเยฺย วิศฺวาโสฺย ภวติ ส มหติ การฺเยฺยปิ วิศฺวาโสฺย ภวติ, กินฺตุ ย: กศฺจิตฺ กฺษุเทฺร การฺเยฺย'วิศฺวาโสฺย ภวติ ส มหติ การฺเยฺยปฺยวิศฺวาโสฺย ภวติฯ
11 So then yf ye have not ben faithfull in ye wicked mamon? who will beleve you in that which is true?
อเตอว อยถารฺเถน ธเนน ยทิ ยูยมวิศฺวาสฺยา ชาตาสฺตรฺหิ สตฺยํ ธนํ ยุษฺมากํ กเรษุ ก: สมรฺปยิษฺยติ?
12 And yf ye have not bene faithfull in another manes busines: who shall geve you youre awne?
ยทิ จ ปรธเนน ยูยมฺ อวิศฺวาสฺยา ภวถ ตรฺหิ ยุษฺมากํ สฺวกียธนํ ยุษฺมภฺยํ โก ทาสฺยติ?
13 No servaunt can serve. ii. masters for other he shall hate ye one and love ye other or els he shall lene to the one and despyse the other. Ye can not serve God and mammon.
โกปิ ทาส อุเภา ปฺรภู เสวิตุํ น ศกฺโนติ, ยต เอกสฺมินฺ ปฺรียมาโณ'นฺยสฺมินฺนปฺรียเต ยทฺวา เอกํ ชนํ สมาทฺฤตฺย ตทนฺยํ ตุจฺฉีกโรติ ตทฺวทฺ ยูยมปิ ธเนศฺวเรา เสวิตุํ น ศกฺนุถฯ
14 All these thinges herde the pharises also which were coveteous and they mocked him.
ตไทตา: สรฺวฺวา: กถา: ศฺรุตฺวา โลภิผิรูศินสฺตมุปชหสุ: ฯ
15 And he sayd vnto the: Ye are they which iustifie youre selves before me: but God knoweth youre hertes. For ye which is highlie estemed amoge me is abhominable in yt sight of god
ตต: ส อุวาจ, ยูยํ มนุษฺยาณำ นิกเฏ สฺวานฺ นิรฺโทษานฺ ทรฺศยถ กินฺตุ ยุษฺมากมฺ อนฺต: กรณานีศฺวโร ชานาติ, ยตฺ มนุษฺยาณามฺ อติ ปฺรศํสฺยํ ตทฺ อีศฺวรสฺย ฆฺฤณฺยํฯ
16 The lawe and the Prophetes raygned vntyll the tyme of Iohn: and sence that tyme the kyngdom of God is preached and every man stryveth to goo in.
โยหน อาคมนปรฺยฺยนตํ ยุษฺมากํ สมีเป วฺยวสฺถาภวิษฺยทฺวาทินำ เลขนานิ จาสนฺ ตต: ปฺรภฺฤติ อีศฺวรราชฺยสฺย สุสํวาท: ปฺรจรติ, เอไกโก โลกสฺตนฺมธฺยํ ยตฺเนน ปฺรวิศติ จฯ
17 Soner shall heven and erth perisshe then one tytle of the lawe shall perisshe.
วรํ นภส: ปฺฤถิวฺยาศฺจ โลโป ภวิษฺยติ ตถาปิ วฺยวสฺถายา เอกพินฺโทรปิ โลโป น ภวิษฺยติฯ
18 Whosoever forsaketh his wyfe and marieth another breaketh matrimony. And every man which marieth her that is devorsed from her husbande committeth advoutry also.
ย: กศฺจิตฺ สฺวียำ ภารฺยฺยำ วิหาย สฺตฺริยมนฺยำ วิวหติ ส ปรทารานฺ คจฺฉติ, ยศฺจ ตา ตฺยกฺตำ นารีํ วิวหติ โสปิ ปรทาราน คจฺฉติฯ
19 Ther was a certayne ryche man which was clothed in purple and fyne bysse and fared deliciously every daye.
เอโก ธนี มนุษฺย: ศุกฺลานิ สูกฺษฺมาณิ วสฺตฺราณิ ปรฺยฺยทธาตฺ ปฺรติทินํ ปริโตษรูเปณาภุํกฺตาปิวจฺจฯ
20 And ther was a certayne begger named Lazarus whiche laye at his gate full of soores
สรฺวฺวางฺเค กฺษตยุกฺต อิลิยาสรนามา กศฺจิทฺ ทริทฺรสฺตสฺย ธนวโต โภชนปาตฺราตฺ ปติตมฺ อุจฺฉิษฺฏํ โภกฺตุํ วาญฺฉนฺ ตสฺย ทฺวาเร ปติตฺวาติษฺฐตฺ;
21 desyringe to be refresshed with the cromes whiche fell from the ryche manes borde. Neverthelesse the dogges came and licked his soores.
อถ ศฺวาน อาคตฺย ตสฺย กฺษตานฺยลิหนฺฯ
22 And yt fortuned that the begger dyed and was caried by the angelles into Abrahas bosome. The riche man also died and was buried.
กิยตฺกาลาตฺปรํ ส ทริทฺร: ปฺราณานฺ ชเหา; ตต: สฺวรฺคียทูตาสฺตํ นีตฺวา อิพฺราหีม: โกฺรฑ อุปเวศยามาสุ: ฯ
23 And beinge in hell in tormetes he lyfte vp his eyes and sawe Abraham a farre of and Lazarus in his bosome (Hadēs g86)
ปศฺจาตฺ ส ธนวานปิ มมาร, ตํ ศฺมศาเน สฺถาปยามาสุศฺจ; กินฺตุ ปรโลเก ส เวทนากุล: สนฺ อูรฺทฺธฺวำ นิรีกฺษฺย พหุทูราทฺ อิพฺราหีมํ ตตฺโกฺรฑ อิลิยาสรญฺจ วิโลกฺย รุวนฺนุวาจ; (Hadēs g86)
24 and he cryed and sayd: father Abraham have mercy on me and sende Lazarus that he maye dippe the tippe of his fynger in water and cole my tonge: for I am tourmented in this flame.
เห ปิตรฺ อิพฺราหีมฺ อนุคฺฤหฺย องฺคุลฺยคฺรภาคํ ชเล มชฺชยิตฺวา มม ชิหฺวำ ศีตลำ กรฺตฺตุมฺ อิลิยาสรํ เปฺรรย, ยโต วหฺนิศิขาโตหํ วฺยถิโตสฺมิฯ
25 But Abraha sayd vnto him Sonne remembre that thou in thy lyfe tyme receavedst thy pleasure and contrary wyse Lazarus payne. Now therfore is he comforted and thou art punysshed.
ตทา อิพฺราหีมฺ พภาเษ, เห ปุตฺร ตฺวํ ชีวนฺ สมฺปทํ ปฺราปฺตวานฺ อิลิยาสรสฺตุ วิปทํ ปฺราปฺตวานฺ เอตตฺ สฺมร, กินฺตุ สมฺปฺรติ ตสฺย สุขํ ตว จ ทุ: ขํ ภวติฯ
26 Beyonde all this bitwene you and vs ther is a greate space set so that they which wolde goo from thence to you cannot: nether maye come from thence to vs.
อปรมปิ ยุษฺมากมฺ อสฺมากญฺจ สฺถานโย รฺมเธฺย มหทฺวิจฺเฉโท'สฺติ ตต เอตตฺสฺถานสฺย โลกาสฺตตฺ สฺถานํ ยาตุํ ยทฺวา ตตฺสฺถานสฺย โลกา เอตตฺ สฺถานมายาตุํ น ศกฺนุวนฺติฯ
27 Then he sayd: I praye the therfore father send him to my fathers housse.
ตทา ส อุกฺตวานฺ, เห ปิตสฺตรฺหิ ตฺวำ นิเวทยามิ มม ปิตุ เรฺคเห เย มม ปญฺจ ภฺราตร: สนฺติ
28 For I have fyve brethren: for to warne the left they also come into this place of tourmet.
เต ยไถตทฺ ยาตนาสฺถานํ นายาสฺยนฺติ ตถา มนฺตฺรณำ ทาตุํ เตษำ สมีปมฺ อิลิยาสรํ เปฺรรยฯ
29 Abraha sayd vnto him: they have Moses and the Prophetes let them heare them.
ตต อิพฺราหีมฺ อุวาจ, มูสาภวิษฺยทฺวาทินาญฺจ ปุสฺตกานิ เตษำ นิกเฏ สนฺติ เต ตทฺวจนานิ มนฺยนฺตำฯ
30 And he sayd: naye father Abraham but yf one came vnto the from the ded they wolde repent.
ตทา ส นิเวทยามาส, เห ปิตรฺ อิพฺราหีมฺ น ตถา, กินฺตุ ยทิ มฺฤตโลกานำ กศฺจิตฺ เตษำ สมีปํ ยาติ ตรฺหิ เต มนำสิ วฺยาโฆฏยิษฺยนฺติฯ
31 He sayd vnto him: If they heare not Moses and ye prophetes nether will they beleve though one roose from deeth agayne.
ตต อิพฺราหีมฺ ชคาท, เต ยทิ มูสาภวิษฺยทฺวาทินาญฺจ วจนานิ น มนฺยนฺเต ตรฺหิ มฺฤตโลกานำ กสฺมึศฺจิทฺ อุตฺถิเตปิ เต ตสฺย มนฺตฺรณำ น มํสฺยนฺเตฯ
