John 9
1 And as Iesus passed by he sawe a man which was blynde from his birth.
Ary raha nandalo Jesosy, dia nahita lehilahy jamba hatry ny fony vao teraka.
2 And his disciples axed him sayinge. Master who dyd synne: this man or his father and mother that he was borne blynde?
Ary ny mpianany nanontany Azy hoe: Raby ô, iza moa no nanota, io lehilahy io va, sa ny ray aman-dreniny, no dia teraka jamba izy?
3 Iesus answered: Nether hath this man synned nor yet his father and mother: but that the workes of God shuld be shewed on him.
Jesosy namaly hoe: Tsy io lehilahy io no nanota, na ny ray aman-dreniny, fa ny hanehoana ny asan’ Andriamanitra eo aminy.
4 I must worke the workes of him that sent me whyll it is daye. The nyght cometh when no man can worke.
Isika tsy maintsy manao ny asan’ izay naniraka Ahy, raha mbola antoandro; avy ny alina, ka tsy mahazo miasa ny olona.
5 As longe as I am in the worlde I am the lyght of the worlde.

6 Assone as he had thus spoken he spate on the grounde and made claye of the spetle and rubbed the claye on the eyes of the blynde

7 and sayde vnto him: Goo wesshe the in ye pole of Syloe which by interpretacion signifieth sent. He went his waye and wasshed and cam agayne seinge.
Ary hoy Izy taminy: Andeha, sasao ny masonao any amin’ ny farihy Siloama (izay atao hoe, raha adika, Nirahina). Dia lasa izy ka nanasa, dia niverina nahiratra.
8 The neghboures and they that had sene him before how that he was a begger sayde: is not this he that sate and begged?
Koa izay nifanolotra taminy sy izay nahita azy fa mpangataka izy taloha dia nanao hoe: Tsy ity va ilay nipetraka nangataka?
9 Some sayde: this is he. Other sayd: he is lyke him. But he him selfe sayde: I am even he.
Hoy ny sasany: Izy ity, fa hoy ny sasany: Tsia, fa tahaka azy ihany; ary hoy kosa izy: Izaho no izy.
10 They sayde vnto him: How are thyne eyes opened then?
Dia hoy ny olona taminy: Ahoana no nahiratan’ ny masonao?
11 He answered and sayde. The ma that is called Iesus made claye and anoynted myne eyes and sayd vnto me: Goo to the pole Syloe and wesshe. I went and wesshed and receaved my syght.
Ary izy namaly ka nanao hoe: Ilay Lehilahy atao hoe Jesosy no nanao feta, dia nanosotra ny masoko ka nanao tamiko hoe: Mankanesa any Siloama, ka sasao ny masonao; koa nandeha aho, dia nanasa azy, ka dia nahiratra.
12 They sayde vnto him: where is he? He sayde: I cannot tell.
Ary hoy ny olona taminy: Aiza moa izany Lehilahy izany? Hoy ralehilahy: Tsy fantatro.
13 Then brought they to ye pharises him that a lytell before was blynde:
Ary ilay jamba taloha dia nentiny tany amin’ ny Fariseo.
14 for it was the Saboth daye when Iesus made the claye and opened his eyes.
Ary tamin’ ny andro Sabata no nanaovan’ i Jesosy ny feta sy nampahiratany ny mason-dralehilahy.
15 Then agayne the pharises also axed him how he had receaved his syght. He sayde vnto the: He put claye apon myne eyes and I wasshed and do se.
Ary ny Fariseo koa nanontany azy izay nahiratan’ ny masony. Dia hoy izy taminy: Nasiany feta ny masoko, dia nosasako, ka nahiratra aho.
16 Then sayde some of the pharises: this man is not of God because he kepeth not the saboth daye. Other sayde: how can a man yt is a synner do suche myracles? And ther was stryfe amonge the.
Ary hoy ny Fariseo sasany: Tsy avy amin’ Andriamanitra izany Lehilahy izany, satria tsy mitandrina ny Sabata Izy. Hoy ny sasany: Hataon’ ny lehilahy mpanota ahoana no fahay manao fahagagana toy izany? Dia nisara-tsaina izy.
17 Then spake they vnto the blynde agayne: What sayst thou of him because he hath openned thyne eyes? And he sayd: He is a Prophet.
Ary hoy indray izy tamin’ ilay jamba: Ahoana no ilazanao Azy, fa nampahiratra ny masonao Izy? Dia hoy izy: Mpaminany Izy.
18 But the Iewes dyd not beleve of the felowe how that he was blynde and receaved his syght vntyll they had called the father and mother of him that had receaved his syght.
Ary amin’ izany ny Jiosy tsy nino azy ho efa jamba ka nahiratra, ambara-piantsony ny ray aman-drenin’ ilay nahiratra
19 And they axed the saying: Is this youre sonne whome ye saye was borne blynde? How doth he now se then?
ka nanontaniany hoe: Zanakareo moa ity, izay lazainareo fa teraka jamba? Koa nanao ahoana ary no nahiratany izao?
20 His father and mother answered them and sayde: we wote well that this is oure sonne and that he was borne blynde:
Ny ray aman-dreniny namaly ka nanao hoe: Fantatray fa zanakay ity sady teraka jamba;
21 but by what meanes he now seith that can we not tell or who hath opened his eyes can we not tell. He is olde ynough axe him let him answer for him selfe.
fa tsy fantatray izay nahiratany izao; ary tsy fantatray izay nampahiratra ny masony; izy ihany no anontanio; efa lehibe izy, aoka izy no hilaza ny amin’ ny tenany.
22 Suche wordes spake his father and mother because they feared the Iewes. For the Iewes had conspyred all redy that yf eny man dyd confesse that he was Christ he shuld be excommunicat out of the synagoge.
Izany teny izany no nolazain’ ny ray aman-dreniny, satria natahotra ny Jiosy izy; fa efa nifanaiky rahateo ny Jiosy fa raha misy manaiky Azy ho Kristy dia horoahina hiala amin’ ny synagoga.
23 Therefore sayde his father and mother: he is olde ynough axe him.
Izany no nilazan’ ny ray aman-dreniny hoe: Efa lehibe izy, koa izy no anontanio.
24 Then agayne called they the man that was blynde and sayd vnto him: Geve God the prayse: we knowe that this man is a synner.
Dia niantso ilay jamba teo aloha indray izy ka nanao taminy hoe: Omeo voninahitra Andriamanitra; izahay mahalala fa mpanota izany Lehilahy izany.
25 He answered and sayde: Whyther he be a synner or noo I cannot tell: One thinge I am sure of that I was blynde and now I se.
Fa izy namaly hoe. Tsy fantatro na mpanota Izy, na tsia; zavatra iray loha ihany no fantatro: jamba aho teo aloha, fa mahiratra aho izao.
26 Then sayde they to him agayne. What dyd he to the? How opened he thyne eyes?
Dia hoy izy taminy: Inona no nataony taminao? Nanao ahoana ange no nampahiratany ny masonao?
27 He answered them I tolde you yerwhyle and ye dyd not heare. Wherfore wolde ye heare it agayne? Will ye also be his disciples?
Dia namaly azy hoe izy: Efa voalazako taminareo rahateo, fa tsy nihaino ianareo; nahoana no te-hihaino indray ianareo? Moa te-ho mpianany koa va ianareo?
28 Then rated they him and sayde: Thou arte his disciple. We be Moses disciples.
Dia nanevateva azy izy ka nanao hoe: Ialahy no mpianany; fa izahay mpianatr’ i Mosesy.
29 We are sure that God spake with Moses. This felowe we knowe not from whence he is.
Izahay mahalala fa Mosesy no nitenenan’ Andriamanitra; fa ny amin’ izany Lehilahy izany, dia tsy fantatray izay nihaviany.
30 The man answered and sayde vnto them: this is a merveleous thinge that ye wote not whence he is seinge he hath opened myne eyes.
Ralehilahy namaly azy hoe: Mba mahagaga tokoa lahy izany! fa tsy fantatrareo ny nihaviany, nefa nampahiratra ny masoko Izy.
31 For we be sure that God heareth not synners. But yf eny man be a worshipper of God and do his will him heareth he.
Fantatsika fa Andriamanitra tsy mihaino ny mpanota; fa izay mivavaka aminy sy manao ny sitrapony no henoiny.
32 Sence ye worlde beganne was it not hearde yt eny man opened the eyes of one that was borne blynd. (aiōn g165)
Hatrizay hatrizay dia tsy mbola re fa nisy nampahiratra ny mason’ izay teraka jamba. (aiōn g165)
33 If this man were not of God he coulde have done no thinge.
Raha tsy avy amin’ Andriamanitra izany Lehilahy izany, dia tsy mahefa na inona na inona Izy.
34 They answered and sayd vnto him: thou arte altogeder borne in synne: and dost thou teache vs? And they cast him out.
Ary namaly ireo ka nanao taminy hoe: Tena teraka tamin’ ny ota ialahy, ka ialahy indray va mampianatra anay? Dia noroahiny izy.
35 Iesus hearde that they had excommunicate him: and assone as he had founde him he sayd vnto him: doest thou beleve on the sonne of God?
Jesosy nandre fa efa noroahiny ralehilahy; ary rehefa nahita azy Izy, dia nanao hoe: Mino ny Zanak-Andriamanitra va ianao?
36 He answered and sayde: Who is it Lorde that I myght beleve on him?
Ralehilahy namaly ka nanao hoe: Iza moa no Izy, Tompoko, mba hinoako Azy?
37 And Iesus sayde vnto him: Thou hast sene him and he it is that talketh with the.
Hoy Jesosy taminy: Efa nahita Azy ianao, sady Izay miresaka aminao izao no Izy.
38 And he sayde: Lorde I beleve: and worshipped him.
Ary hoy izy: Tompoko, mino aho. Dia niankohoka teo anatrehany izy.
39 Iesus sayde: I am come vnto iudgement into this worlde: that they which se not myght se and they which se myght be made blynde.
Ary hoy Jesosy: Ho fitsarana no nahatongavako amin’ izao tontolo izao, mba hahiratra ny tsy mahiratra, ary mba ho tonga jamba kosa ny mahiratra.
40 And some of the pharises which were with him hearde these wordes and sayde vnto him: are we then blynde?
Ary ny Fariseo sasany izay teo aminy, nony nandre izany, dia nanao taminy hoe: Izahay koa va mba jamba?
41 Iesus sayde vnto them: yf ye were blynde ye shuld have no synne. But now ye saye we se therfore youre synne remayneth.
Hoy Jesosy taminy: Raha jamba ianareo, dia tsy ho nanan-keloka; nefa hoy ianareo ankehitriny: Mahiratra izahay; dia tsy afaka ny helokareo.
