1 Assone as the Lorde had knowledge how the Pharises had hearde that Iesus made and baptised moo disciples then Iohn
Àwọn Farisi sì gbọ́ pé, Jesu ni, ó sì ń ṣe ìtẹ̀bọmi fún àwọn ọmọ-ẹ̀yìn púpọ̀ ju Johanu lọ.
2 (though that Iesus him selfe baptised not: but his disciples)
Bí ó tilẹ̀ jẹ́ pé Jesu tìkára rẹ̀ kò ṣe ìtẹ̀bọmi bí kò ṣe àwọn ọmọ-ẹ̀yìn rẹ̀,
3 he lefte Iewry and departed agayne into Galile.
Ó fi Judea sílẹ̀, ó sì tún lọ sí Galili.
4 And it was so that he must nedes goo thorowe Samaria.
Òun sì ní láti kọjá láàrín Samaria.
5 Then came he to a cyte of Samaria called Sichar besydes the possession that Iacob gave to his sonne Ioseph.
Nígbà náà ni ó dé ìlú Samaria kan, tí a ń pè ní Sikari, tí ó súnmọ́ etí ilẹ̀ oko tí Jakọbu ti fi fún Josẹfu, ọmọ rẹ̀.
6 And there was Iacobs well. Iesus then weryed in his iorney sate thus on the well. And it was about the sixte houre:
Kànga Jakọbu sì wà níbẹ̀. Nítorí pé ó rẹ Jesu nítorí ìrìn rẹ̀, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni ó jókòó létí kànga, ó sì jẹ́ ìwọ̀n wákàtí kẹfà ọjọ́.
7 and there came a woman of Samaria to drawe water. And Iesus sayde vnto her: geve me drynke.
Obìnrin kan, ará Samaria sì wá láti fà omi, Jesu wí fún un pé ṣe ìwọ yóò fún mi ni omi mu.
8 For his disciples were gone awaye vnto the toune to bye meate.
Nítorí àwọn ọmọ-ẹ̀yìn rẹ̀ ti lọ sí ìlú láti lọ ra oúnjẹ.
9 Then sayde the woman of Samaria vnto him: how is it that thou beinge a Iewe axest drinke of me which am a Samaritane? for the Iewes medle not with the Samaritans.
Obìnrin ará Samaria náà sọ fún un pé, “Júù ni ìwọ, obìnrin ará Samaria ni èmi. Èétirí tí ìwọ ń béèrè ohun mímu lọ́wọ́ mi?” (Nítorí tí àwọn Júù kì í bá àwọn ará Samaria ṣe pọ̀.)
10 Iesus answered and sayde vnto hir: yf thou knewest the gyfte of God and who it is that sayeth to the geve me drynke thou woldest have axed of him and he wolde have geven the water of lyfe.
Jesu dáhùn, ó sì wí fún un pé, “Ìbá ṣe pé ìwọ mọ ẹ̀bùn Ọlọ́run, àti ẹni tí ó wí fún ọ pé, ‘Fún mi ni omi mu’, ìwọ ìbá sì ti béèrè lọ́wọ́ rẹ̀, òun ìbá ti fi omi ìyè fún ọ.”
11 The woman sayde vnto him. Syr thou hast no thinge to drawe with and the well is depe: from whence then hast thou yt water of lyfe?
Obìnrin náà wí fún un pé, “Alàgbà, ìwọ kò ní igbá-ìfami tí ìwọ ó fi fà omi, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni kànga náà jì, Níbo ni ìwọ ó ti rí omi ìyè náà?
12 Arte thou greater then oure father Iacob which gave vs the well and he him silfe dranke therof and his chyldren and his catell?
Ìwọ pọ̀ ju Jakọbu baba wa lọ bí, ẹni tí ó fún wa ní kànga náà, tí òun tìkára rẹ̀ si mu nínú rẹ̀, àti àwọn ọmọ rẹ̀, àti àwọn ẹran ọ̀sìn rẹ̀?”
13 Iesus answered and sayde vnto hir: whosoever drinketh of this water shall thurst agayne.
Jesu dáhùn, ó sì wí fún un pé, “Ẹnikẹ́ni tí ó bá mu nínú omi yìí, òǹgbẹ yóò sì tún gbẹ ẹ́.
14 But whosoever shall drinke of ye water yt I shall geve him shall never be more a thyrst: but the water that I shall geve him shalbe in him a well of water springinge vp in to everlastinge lyfe. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
Ṣùgbọ́n ẹnikẹ́ni tí ó bá mu nínú omi tí èmi ó fi fún un, òǹgbẹ kì yóò gbẹ ẹ́ mọ́ láé; ṣùgbọ́n omi tí èmi ó fi fún un yóò di kànga omi nínú rẹ̀, tí yóò máa sun si ìyè àìnípẹ̀kun.” (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
15 The woma sayd vnto him: Syr geve me of that water that I thyrst not nether come hedder to drawe.
Obìnrin náà sì wí fún u pé, “Alàgbà, fún mi ní omi yìí, kí òǹgbẹ kí ó má ṣe gbẹ mí, kí èmi kí ó má sì wá fa omi níbí mọ́.”
16 Iesus sayde vnto her. Go and call thy husband and come hydder.
Jesu wí fún un pé, “Lọ pe ọkọ rẹ, kí ó sì padà wá sí ìhín yìí.”
17 The woman answered and sayde to him: I have no husband.
Obìnrin náà dáhùn, ó sì wí fún un pé, “Èmi kò ní ọkọ.” Jesu wí fún un pé, “Ìwọ́ dáhùn dáradára pé, èmi kò ní ọkọ:
18 Iesus sayde to her. Thou hast well sayd I have no husbande. For thou haste had five husbandes and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband. That saydest thou truely.
Nítorí tí ìwọ ti ní ọkọ márùn-ún rí, ọkùnrin tí ìwọ sì ní báyìí kì í ṣe ọkọ rẹ. Ohun tí ó ṣẹ̀ṣẹ̀ sọ tán yìí, òtítọ́ ni.”
19 The woman sayde vnto him: Syr I perceave yt thou arte a prophet.
Obìnrin náà wí fún un pé, “Alàgbà, mo wòye pé, wòlíì ni ìwọ ń ṣe.
20 Oure fathers worshipped in this mountayne: and ye saye that in Hierusalem is the place where men ought to worshippe.
Àwọn baba wa sìn lórí òkè yìí; ẹ̀yin sì wí pé, Jerusalẹmu ni ibi tí ó yẹ tí à bá ti máa sìn.”
21 Iesus sayde vnto her: woman beleve me the houre cometh when ye shall nether in this moutayne nor yet at Ierusalem worshippe the father.
Jesu wí fún un pé, “Gbà mí gbọ́ obìnrin yìí, àkókò náà ń bọ̀, nígbà tí kì yóò ṣe lórí òkè yìí tàbí ní Jerusalẹmu ni ẹ̀yin ó máa sin Baba.
22 Ye worshippe ye wot not what: we knowe what we worshippe. For salvacion cometh of the Iewes.
Ẹ̀yin ń sin ohun tí ẹ̀yin kò mọ̀, àwa ń sin ohun tí àwa mọ̀, nítorí ìgbàlà ti ọ̀dọ̀ àwọn Júù wá.
23 But the houre commeth and nowe is when the true worshippers shall worshippe the father in sprete and in trouthe. For verely suche the father requyreth to worshippe him.
Ṣùgbọ́n àkókò ń bọ̀, ó sì dé tán nísinsin yìí, nígbà tí àwọn olùsìn tòótọ́ yóò máa sin Baba ní ẹ̀mí àti ní òtítọ́, nítorí irú wọn ni Baba ń wá kí ó máa sin òun.
24 God is a sprete and they that worshippe him must worshippe him in sprete and trouthe.
Ẹ̀mí ni Ọlọ́run: àwọn ẹni tí ń sìn ín kò lè ṣe aláìsìn ín ní Ẹ̀mí àti ní òtítọ́.”
25 The woman sayde vnto him: I wot well Messias shall come which is called Christ. When he is come he will tell vs all thinges.
Obìnrin náà wí fún un pé, mo mọ̀ pé, “Messia ń bọ̀ wá, tí a ń pè ní Kristi, nígbà tí Òun bá dé, yóò sọ ohun gbogbo fún wa.”
26 Iesus sayde vnto hir: I that speake vnto the am he.
Jesu sọ ọ́ di mí mọ̀ fún un pé, “Èmi ẹni tí ń bá ọ sọ̀rọ̀ yìí ni Òun.”
27 And eve at that poynte came his disciples and marvelled that he talked with the woman. Yet no man sayde vnto him: what meanest thou or why talkest thou with her?
Lákokò yí ni àwọn ọmọ-ẹ̀yìn rẹ̀ dé, ẹnu sì yà wọ́n pé ó ń bá obìnrin sọ̀rọ̀, ṣùgbọ́n kò sí ẹnìkan tí ó wí pé, “Kí ni ìwọ ń wá?” tàbí “Èéṣe tí ìwọ fi ń bá a sọ̀rọ̀?”
28 The woma then lefte her waterpot and went her waye into the cite and sayde to the men.
Nígbà náà ni obìnrin náà fi ládugbó rẹ̀ sílẹ̀, ó sì mú ọ̀nà rẹ̀ pọ̀n lọ sí ìlú, ó sì wí fún àwọn ènìyàn pé,
29 Come se a man which tolde me all thinges yt ever I dyd. Is not he Christ?
“Ẹ wá wò ọkùnrin kan, ẹni tí ó sọ ohun gbogbo tí mo ti ṣe rí fún mi, èyí ha lè jẹ́ Kristi náà?”
30 Then they went ont of the cite and came vnto him.
Nígbà náà ni wọ́n ti ìlú jáde, wọ́n sì tọ̀ ọ́ wá.
31 And in ye meane while his disciples prayed him sayinge: Master eate.
Láàrín èyí, àwọn ọmọ-ẹ̀yìn rẹ̀ ń rọ̀ ọ́ wí pé, “Rabbi, jẹun.”
32 He sayde vnto the: I have meate to eate that ye knowe not of.
Ṣùgbọ́n ó wí fún wọn pé, “Èmi ní oúnjẹ láti jẹ, tí ẹ̀yin kò mọ̀.”
33 Then sayd ye disciples bitwene them selves: hath eny ma brought him meate?
Nítorí náà ni àwọn ọmọ-ẹ̀yìn rẹ̀ ń bi ara wọn lérè wí pé, “Ẹnìkan mú oúnjẹ fún un wá láti jẹ bí?”
34 Iesus sayde vnto them: my meate is to doo the will of him that sent me. And to fynnysshe his worke.
Jesu wí fún wọn pé, “Oúnjẹ mi ni láti ṣe ìfẹ́ ẹni tí ó rán mi, àti láti parí iṣẹ́ rẹ̀.
35 Saye not ye: there are yet foure monethes and then cometh harvest? Beholde I saye vnto you lyfte vp youre eyes and loke on ye regios: for they are whyte all redy vnto harvest.
Ẹ̀yin kò ha wí pé, ‘Ó ku oṣù mẹ́rin, ìkórè yóò sì dé?’ wò ó, mo wí fún un yín, Ẹ ṣí ojú yín sókè, kí ẹ sì wo oko; nítorí tí wọn ti pọ́n fún ìkórè.
36 And he ye repeth receaveth rewarde and gaddereth frute vnto life eternall: that bothe he that soweth and he yt repeth myght reioyse to gether. (aiōnios g166)
Kódà báyìí, ẹni tí ó ń kórè ń gba owó ọ̀yà rẹ̀, ó si ń kó èso jọ sí ìyè àìnípẹ̀kun, kí ẹni tí ó ń fúnrúgbìn àti ẹni tí ń kórè lè jọ máa yọ̀ pọ̀. (aiōnios g166)
37 And herin is the sayinge true yt one soweth and another repeth.
Nítorí nínú èyí ni ọ̀rọ̀ náà fi jẹ́ òtítọ́, ‘Ẹnìkan ni ó fúnrúgbìn, ẹlòmíràn ni ó sì ń kórè jọ.’
38 I sent you to repe yt whero ye bestowed no laboure. Other men laboured and ye are entred into their labours.
Mo rán yín lọ kórè ohun tí ẹ kò ṣiṣẹ́ fún. Àwọn ẹlòmíràn ti ṣiṣẹ́, ẹ̀yin sì kórè èrè làálàá wọn.”
39 Many of the Samaritas of that cyte beleved on him for ye sayinge of the woma which testified: he tolde me all thinges yt ever I dyd.
Ọ̀pọ̀ àwọn ará Samaria láti ìlú náà wá sì gbà á gbọ́ nítorí ìjẹ́rìí obìnrin náà pé, “Ó sọ gbogbo ohun tí mo ti ṣe fún mi.”
40 Then when the Samaritas were come vnto him they besought him yt he wolde tary wt the. And he aboode there two dayes.
Nítorí náà, nígbà tí àwọn ará Samaria wá sọ́dọ̀ rẹ̀, wọ́n rọ̀ ọ́ pé, kí ó wà pẹ̀lú wọn, ó sì dúró fún ọjọ́ méjì.
41 And many moo beleved because of his awne wordes
Àwọn ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ sì gbàgbọ́ sí i nítorí ọ̀rọ̀ rẹ̀.
42 and sayd vnto the woman: Now we beleve not because of thy sayinge. For we have herde him oure selves and knowe that this is even in dede Christ the savioure of the worlde.
Wọ́n sì wí fún obìnrin náà pé, “Kì í ṣe nítorí ọ̀rọ̀ rẹ nìkan ni àwa ṣe gbàgbọ́, nítorí tí àwa tìkára wa ti gbọ́ ọ̀rọ̀ rẹ̀, àwa sì mọ̀ pé, nítòótọ́ èyí ni Kristi náà, Olùgbàlà aráyé.”
43 After two dayes he departed thence and wet awaye into Galile.
Lẹ́yìn ọjọ́ méjì ó sì ti ibẹ̀ kúrò, ó lọ sí Galili.
44 And Iesus him selfe testified that a Prophete hath none honoure in his awne countre.
Nítorí Jesu tìkára rẹ̀ ti jẹ́rìí wí pé, Wòlíì kì í ní ọlá ní ilẹ̀ òun tìkára rẹ̀.
45 Then assone as he was come into Galile the Galileans receaved him which had sene all the thinges yt he dyd at Ierusalem at ye feast. For they wet also vnto ye feast daye.
Nítorí náà nígbà tí ó dé Galili, àwọn ará Galili gbà á, nítorí ti wọ́n ti rí ohun gbogbo tí ó ṣe ní Jerusalẹmu nígbà àjọ ìrékọjá; nítorí àwọn tìkára wọn lọ sí àjọ pẹ̀lú.
46 And Iesus came agayne into Cana of Galile wher he turned water into wyne. And ther was a certayne ruler whose sonne was sicke at Capernaum.
Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni Jesu tún wá sí Kana ti Galili, níbi tí ó gbé sọ omi di wáìnì. Ọkùnrin ọlọ́lá kan sì wá, ẹni tí ara ọmọ rẹ̀ kò dá ní Kapernaumu.
47 Assone as the same herde that Iesus was come out of Iewry into Galile he wet vnto him and besought him yt he wolde descende and heale his sonne: For he was eve readie to dye.
Nígbà tí ó gbọ́ pé Jesu ti Judea wá sí Galili, ó tọ̀ ọ́ wá, ó sì ń bẹ̀ ẹ́, kí ó lè sọ̀kalẹ̀ wá kí ó mú ọmọ òun láradá: nítorí tí ó wà ní ojú ikú.
48 Then sayde Iesus vnto him: excepte ye se signes and wodres ye canot beleve.
Nígbà náà ni Jesu wí fún un pé, “Bí kò ṣe pé ẹ̀yin bá rí àmì àti iṣẹ́ ìyanu, ẹ̀yin kì yóò gbàgbọ́ láé.”
49 The ruler sayd vnto him: Syr come awaye or ever yt my chylde dye.
Ọkùnrin ọlọ́lá náà wí fún un pé, “Olúwa, sọ̀kalẹ̀ wá kí ọmọ mi tó kú.”
50 Iesus sayde vnto him goo thy waye thy sonne liveth. And the ma beleved ye wordes yt Iesus had spoke vnto him and wet his waye.
Jesu wí fún un pé, “Máa bá ọ̀nà rẹ lọ; ọmọ rẹ yóò yè.” Ọkùnrin náà sì gba ọ̀rọ̀ Jesu gbọ́, ó sì kúrò lọ́dọ̀ rẹ̀.
51 And anone as he went on his waye his servantes met him and tolde him sayinge: thy chylde liveth.
Bí ó sì ti ń sọ̀kalẹ̀ lọ, àwọn ọmọ ọ̀dọ̀ rẹ̀ pàdé rẹ̀, wọ́n sì wí fún un pé, ọmọ rẹ ti yè.
52 Then enquyred he of the the houre when he begane to amende. And they sayde vnto him: Yester daye the sevethe houre the fever lefte him.
Nígbà náà ni ó béèrè wákàtí tí ara rẹ̀ bẹ̀rẹ̀ sí í yá lọ́wọ́ wọn, wọ́n sì wí fún un pé, “Ní àná, ní wákàtí keje ni ibà náà fi í sílẹ̀.”
53 And the father knew that it was the same houre in which Iesus sayde vnto him: Thy sonne liveth. And he beleved and all his housholde.
Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni baba náà mọ̀ pé ní wákàtí kan náà ni, nínú èyí tí Jesu wí fún un pé “Ọmọ rẹ̀ yè.” Òun tìkára rẹ̀ sì gbàgbọ́, àti gbogbo ilé rẹ̀.
54 Thys is agayne the seconde myracle yt Iesus dyd after he was come oute of Iewry into Galile.
Èyí ni iṣẹ́ àmì kejì tí Jesu ṣe nígbà tí ó ti Judea jáde wá sí Galili.
