Hebrews 6
1 Wherfore let vs leave ye doctryne pertayninge to the beginninge of a Christen man and let vs go vnto perfeccio and now no more laye the foundacio of repentaunce from deed workes and of fayth towarde God
Kwa hiyo, tukiacha tulichojifunza kwanza kuhusu ujumbe wa Kristo, twapaswa kuwa na juhudi kuelekea kwenye ukomavu, tusiweke tena misingi ya toba kutoka katika kazi zisizo na uhai na imani katika Mungu,
2 of baptyme of doctryne and of layinge on of hondes and of resurreccion from deeth and of eternall iudgemet. (aiōnios g166)
wala misingi ya mafundisho ya ubatizo, na kuwawekea mikono, ufufuo wa wafu, na hukumu ya milele. (aiōnios g166)
3 And so will we do yf God permitte.
Na tutafanya hivi ikiwa Mungu ataruhusu.
4 For it is not possible yt they which were once lyghted and have tasted of the hevenly gyft and were become partetakers of the holy goost
Kwa kuwa haiwezekani kwa wale ambao waliipata nuru awali, ambao walionja kipawa cha mbinguni, na kufanywa kuwa washirika wa Roho Mtakatifu,
na ambao walionja uzuri wa neno la Mungu na kwa nguvu za wakati ujao, (aiōn g165)
6 yf they faule shuld be renued agayne vnto repentaunce: for as moche as they have (as concerninge them selves) crucified the sonne of God a fresshe makynge a mocke of him.
na kisha wakaanguka - haiwezekani kuwarejesha tena katika toba. Hii ni kwa sababu wamemsulubisha Mwana wa Mungu mara ya pili kwa nafsi zao, wakimfanya kuwa chombo cha dhihaka hadharani.
7 For that erth which drinketh in the rayne wich cometh ofte vpon it and bringeth forth erbes mete for them that dresse it receaveth blessynge of god.
Kwa kuwa ardhi iliyopokea mvua inyeshayo mara kwa mara juu yake, na ikatoa mazao muhimu kwa hao waliofanya kazi katika ardhi, hupokea baraka kutoka kwa Mungu.
8 But that grounde which beareth thornes and bryars is reproved and is nye vnto cursynge: whose ende is to be burned.
Lakini ikiwa huzaa miiba na magugu, haina tena thamani na ipo katika hatari ya kulaaniwa. Mwisho wake ni kuteketezwa.
9 Neverthelesse deare frendes we trust to se better of you and thynges which accompany saluacion though we thus speake.
Ijapokuwa tunazungumza hivi, rafiki wapenzi, tunashawishiwa na mambo mazuri yawahusuyo ninyi na mambo yahusuyo wokovu.
10 For god is not vnrighteous that he shuld forget youre worke and laboure that procedeth of love which love shewed in his name which have ministred vnto the saynctes and yet minister
Kwa kuwa Mungu si dhalimu hata asahau kazi yenu na kwa upendo mliouonesha kwa ajili ya jina lake, katika hili mliwatumikia waamini na bado mngali mnawatumikia.
11 Yee and we desyre that every one of you shew the same diligence to the stablysshynge of hope even vnto the ende:
Na tunatamani sana kwamba kila mmoja wenu aweze kuonesha bidii ile ile mpaka mwisho kwa uhakika wa ujasiri.
12 that ye faynt not but folowe them which thorow fayth and pacience inheret the promyses.
Hatutaki muwe wavivu, lakini muwe wafuasi wa wale warithio ahadi kwa sababu ya imani na uvumilivu.
13 For when god made promes to Abraham because he had no greater thinge to sweare by he sware by him silfe
Kwa maana Mungu alipompa Abrahamu ahadi, aliapa kwa nafsi yake, kwa kuwa asingeliapa kwa mwingine yeyote aliye mkubwa kuliko yeye.
14 sayinge: Surely I will blesse the and multiply the in dede.
Alisema, “Hakika nitakubariki, na nitauongeza uzao wako zaidi.”
15 And so after that he had taryed a longe tyme he enioyed the promes.
Kwa njia hii, Abrahamu alipokea kile alichoahidiwa baada ya kusubiria kwa uvumilivu.
16 Men verely sweare by him that is greater then them selves and an othe to confyrme the thynge ys amonge them an ende of all stryfe.
Maana wanadamu huapa kwa yeye aliye mkuu kuliko wao, na kwao ukomo wa mashindano yote ni kiapo kwa kuyathibitisha.
17 So god willynge very aboundanly to shewe vnto the heyres of promes the stablenes of his counsayle he added an othe
Wakati Mungu alipoamua kuonesha kwa uwazi zaidi kwa warithi wa ahadi kusudi lake zuri lisilobadilika, alilithibitisha kwa kiapo.
18 that by two immutable thinges (in which it was vnpossible that god shuld lye) we myght have parfect consolacion which have fled for to holde fast the hope that is set before vs
Alifanya hivyo ili kwa vitu viwili visivyoweza kubadilika, ambavyo katika hivyo Mungu hawezi kusema uongo, sisi tulioikimbilia hifadhi tupate kutiwa moyo kushikilia kwa nguvu tumaini lililowekwa mbele yetu.
19 which hope we have as an ancre of the soule both sure and stedfast. Which hope also entreth in into tho thynges which are with in the vayle
Tunao ujasiri huu kama nanga imara na ya kutegemea ya roho zetu, ujasiri ambao unaingia sehemu ya ndani nyuma ya pazia.
