< Acts 14 >

1 And it fortuned in Iconium that they went both to gether into the synagoge of ye Iewes and so spake that a gret multitude both of ye Iewes and also of the Grekes beleved.

2 But the unbelevinge Iewes steryd vp and vnquyeted the myndes of the Gentyls agaynste the brethre.
Kuiti Ayahudi nishanga ai akuiye ai a akinyiie i mahala i anyaingu nu kuatenda kutula abii kua anya ndugu.
3 Longe tyme a bode they there and quyt them selves boldly with the helpe of the Lorde the which gave testimony vnto ye worde of his grace and caused signes and wondres to be done by their hondes.
Ku lulo ai ikiie kuko ku itungo ilipu, azeligitya ku ukamatiku ku gulu nia Mukulu, kunu wazepumya u kaminkiilyi kutula lukani nula ukende nuakwe. Ai witumile iti ku kupumya ilingasiiyo nu ukuilwa yitung'we ku mikono a Paulo nu Barnaba.
4 The people of the cyte were devided: and parte helde with the Iewes and parte with the Apostles.
Kuiti kianza kikulu nika kisali kikagalanuka; ang'wi a antu akatula palung'wi ni Ayahudi, ni ang'wi palung'wi ni itumi.
5 When ther was a saute made both of the gentyls and also of the Iewes with their rulers to put them to shame and to stone
Matungo anyaingu ni Ayahudi nai agemile kuapema i atongeeli ao kuatendeela ubi nu kuatulanga i magwe uPaulo nu Barnaba,
6 the they were ware of it and fled vnto Listra and Derba cities of Licaonia and vnto the region that lyeth round aboute
Akalilinga nilanso nu kumankiila mu isali nia Likaonia, Listra ni Derbe ni nkika ni ipilimikiiye pang'wanso,
7 and there preached the gospell.
nu kung'wanso ai atanantilye i nkani niza.
8 And ther sate a certayne man at Listra weake in his fete beinge creple from his mothers wombe and never walkyd.
Nu kung'wanso ku Listra ai ukoli nu muntu ung'wi nai wikiie, ai mugila ingulu mu migulu akwe, mulema kupuma munda ang'wa nyinya nuakwe, wakili wakaye kugenda.
9 The same hearde Paul preache. Which behelde him and perceaved that he had fayth to be whole
uMuntu uyu ai umigulye uPaulo ukuligitya. uPaulo akamukunkuila imiho nu kumihenga kina ai watulaa nu uhuiili nua kugunwa.
10 and sayd with a loude voyce: stond vp right on thy fete. And he stert vp and walked.
Iti gwa ai ulugitilye kitalakwe ku luli nula migulya, “Imike ku migulu ako” Nu muntu uyo ai uputile migulya nu kandya kugenda.
11 And when the people sawe what Paul had done they lifte vp their voyces sayinge in the speache of Lycaonia: Goddes are come doune to vs in the lyknes of men.
Iumbi nai lihengile nai ukitumile uPaulo, ai anyansue i nduli niao, azeligitya mu luli nula Kilikaonia, “alungu akusimiila ku mpyani a ki ana adamu.”
12 And they called Barnabas Iupiter and Paul Mercurius because he was the preacher.
Ai amitangile u Barnaba “Zeu,” nu Paulo “Herme” ku nsoko ai watulaa mutambuli nu mukulu.
13 Then Iupiters Preste which dwelt before their cite brought oxe and garlondes vnto the churche porche and wolde have done sacrifise with the people.
uKuhani nua Zeu, naiza itekeelo nilakwe ai latulaa kunzi a kisali, ai uletile muzagamba nua ng'ombe nu muntungi nua ulua kupikiila mu mumpita nua kisali, uNg'wenso ni iumbi ai aloilwe kupumya isongelyo.
14 But when the Apostles Barnabas and Paul herde that they rent their clothes and ran in amonge the people cryinge
Kuiti i itumi, uBarnaba nu Paulo, nai akalija ili, akatamulania i ang'wenda ao nu ku ukau akalongola kunzi mi iumbi, azelila
15 and sayinge: syrs why do ye this? We are mortall men lyke vnto you and preache vnto you that ye shuld turne from these vanyties vnto ye lyvinge God which made heaven and erth and the see and all that in them is:
nu kuligitya, “U nyenye antu, ku niki mukituma imakani aya? Nu sese ga ki ana adamu ni akete i kiwai anga ni kanyu Ku umuletela nkani ni nkende, kina mupiluke kupuma mu intu izi ni shanga izepile nu kumutunga Itunda nuili mupanga, nai u umbile ilunde, ihi nu luzi ni kila intu ni imoli.
16 the which in tymes past suffred all nacions to walke in their awne wayes.
Mu matungo nakiile, ai ualekee i anyaingu kugenda mu nzila niao akola.
17 Neverthelesse he lefte not him selfe with outen witnes in that he shewed his benefites in gevinge vs rayne from heaven and frutefull ceasons fyllinge oure hertes with fode and gladnes.
Kuiti ikili, shanga ai uhengile bila mukuili, mu nilanso ai witumile iziza hangi akainkiilya i mbula kupuma kilunde ni matungo a maogola, wazeizulya i nkolo nianyu ku ndya nu ulowa,”
18 And with these sayinges scase refrayned they the people that they had not done sacrifice vnto them.
Ga nu ku makani aya, uPaulo nu Barnaba ku lwago ai aligiiye iumbi ku apumilya isongelyo.
19 Thither came certayne Iewes fro Antioche and Iconium and optayned the peoples consent and stoned Paul and drewe him oute of the cyte supposynge he had bene deed.
Kuiti ang'wi a Ayahudi kupuma ku Antiokia nu ku Ikonia ai azile kulipema i umbi. Akamukua magwe uPaulo nu kumukweha kupika kunzi a kisali, aze asigile aiwatulaa wakuza.
20 How be it as the disciples stode rounde about him he arose vp and cam into the cyte. And the nexte daye he departed with Barnabas to Derba.
Ga ni iti amanyisigwa ai atulaa imikile pakupi nu ng'wenso, ai u ukile, akingila mu kisali. Luhiku nula ka biili, akalongola ku Derbe nu Barnaba.
21 After they had preached to that cite and had taught many they returned agayne to Lisira and to Iconium and Antioche
Ze yakilaa kumanyisa nkani ninza mu kisali ni kanso nu kuazipya amanyisigwa idu, akasuka ku Listra, kupikiila ku Ikoniamu, ni kupikiila ku Antiokia.
22 and strengthed the disciples soules exhortinge them to continue in the faith affyrminge yt we must thorowe moche tribulacion entre into the kyngdome of God.
Ai alongolekile kukaminkiilya u umi nua amanyisigwa nu kuakinyila kulongoleka mu uhuiili, akaligitya, “Kusinja kingile mu utemi nuang'wa Itunda ku kiila lwago lidu.”
23 And when they had ordened them elders by eleccion in every congregacio after they had yrayde and fasted they comended them to God on whom they beleved.
Nai atula a ahola ku nsoko ao anyampala a kila milundo nila ahuiili, hangi aze atulaa alompaa nu kudila kulya, ai ainkiiye ku Mukulu, naiza i enso amuhuiie.
24 And they went thorow out Pisidia and came into Paphilia
Uugwa ai akiile mu Pisidia, ai apikile mu Pamfilia.
25 and when they had preached the worde of God in Perga they descended in to Attalia
Matungo nai atambue i makani mu Perga, ai asimile kulongola ku Atalia.
26 and thence departed by shippe to Antioche fro whence they were delivered vnto the grace of God to the worke which they had fulfilled.
Kupuma kuko ai anankie meli kupikiila ku Antiokia nize atulaa ipumya ku ukende nuang'wa Itunda ku nsoko a mulimo niize itungili ai atulaa aukondeelya.
27 When they were come and had gaddered the congregacion to gedder they rehersed all that God had done by them and how he had opened the dore of faith vnto the getyls.
Nai akapika uko ku Antiokia, nu ki kilingiila u milundo nua palung'wi, akapumya i mpola nia makani naiza Itunda witumile kitalao, ni kinya nai ualuguie u mumpita nua uhuiili ku antu ni anyaingu.
28 And ther they abode longe tyme with the disciples.
Ai ikie ku itungo ilipu ni amanyisigwa.
