1 Corinthians 16
1 Of the gadderynge for the saynctes as I have ordeyned in the congregacios of Galacia even so do ye.
Agora vou tratar da questão do “dinheiro para ajudar os irmãos na fé em necessidade.” Eu lhes darei as mesmas orientações que dei para as igrejas na província da Galácia.
2 Vpon some sondaye let every one of you put a syde at home and laye vp what soever he thinketh mete that ther be no gaderinges when I come.
No primeiro dia da semana, todos vocês devem separar certa quantia do dinheiro que ganharam. Quando eu estiver aí com vocês, não quero que haja qualquer coleta de dinheiro.
3 When I am come whosoever ye shall alowe by youre letters them will I sende to bringe youre liberalite vnto Ierusalem.
Quando eu chegar, escreverei cartas de recomendação para quem vocês escolherem, e eles levarão as suas doações para Jerusalém.
4 And yf it be mete yt I goo they shall go with me.
Se eu conseguir ir também, eles poderão ir comigo.
5 I will come vnto you after I have gone over Macedonia. For I will goo thorowout Macedonia.
Depois que eu visitar a província da Macedônia, planejo ir vê-los. Eu viajarei pela Macedônia,
6 With you paraveture I wyll abyde awhyle: or els winter that ye maye brynge me on my waye whyther soever I goo.
e pode ser que eu fique com vocês por algum tempo, talvez durante o inverno. E depois, vocês poderão me ajudar na minha viagem para onde eu estiver indo.
7 I will not se you now in my passage: but I trust to abyde a whyle with you yf God shall suffre me.
Dessa vez, eu não quero ir para vê-los e apenas fazer uma visita breve. Eu espero que possa ficar por um tempo maior com vocês se, assim, o Senhor permitir.
8 I will tary at Ephesus untyll whit sontyde.
No entanto, ficarei aqui em Éfeso até o dia de Pentecostes,
9 For a greate dore and a frutefull is opened vnto me: and ther are many adversaries.
pois surgiu uma grande oportunidade para mim aqui, embora muita gente esteja contra mim.
10 If Timotheus come se yt he be with out feare with you. For he worketh the worke of the Lorde as I doo.
Mas, se Timóteo chegar aí, garantam que ele não terá nada a temer ao estar com vocês, pois ele está trabalhando para o Senhor, exatamente como eu estou.
11 Let no man despyse him: but convaye him forthe in peace yt he maye come vnto me. For I loke for him with the brethre.
Não deixem que ele seja desprezado. Peço que vocês o ajudem a continuar a sua viagem, para que ele venha me encontrar em paz, pois tanto eu quanto os outros irmãos e irmãs esperamos por ele.
12 To speake of brother Apollo: I greatly desyred him to come vnto you with ye brethren but his mynde was not at all to come at this tyme. How be it he will come when he shall have conveniet tyme.
Quanto ao nosso irmão Apolo, eu o incentivei a ir vê-los, juntamente com outros irmãos, mas ele não estava disposto a ir nesse momento. Ele irá visitá-los assim que possível.
13 Watche ye stonde fast in the fayth auyte you lyke men and be stronge.
Fiquem atentos. Permaneçam firmes em sua fé em Deus. Tomem coragem. Sejam fortes.
14 Let all youre busynes be done in love.
Qualquer coisa que resolvam fazer, façam com amor.
15 Brethren (ye knowe the housse of Stephana how yt they are the fyrst frutes of Achaia and that they have appoynted them selves to minister vnto the saynctes)
Quero que saibam que Estéfanas e sua família foram os primeiros cristãos convertidos na província da Acaia. Eles se dedicaram a ajudar o povo de Deus. Peço a vocês
16 I beseche you yt ye be obedient vnto soche and to all that helpe and laboure.
que aceitem a liderança deles e que respeitem todas as pessoas que ajudam no trabalho com dedicação.
17 I am gladde of the comynge of Stephana Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lackinge on youre parte they have supplied.
Eu estou contente por Estéfanas, Fortunato e Acaico terem chegado aqui, pois eles fizeram o que vocês não puderam fazer, por estarem ausentes.
18 They have comforted my sprete and youres. Loke therfore that ye knowe them that are soche.
Eles têm sido uma grande fonte de incentivo para mim e para vocês. Pessoas assim merecem o devido reconhecimento.
19 The congregacions of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you moche in the Lorde and so doeth the congregacio that is in their housse.
As igrejas da Ásia enviam saudações. Áquila e sua esposa, Priscila, juntamente com a igreja que se reúne na casa deles, também enviam saudações.
20 All the brethren grete you. Grete ye one another with an holy kysse.
Todos os irmãos e irmãs daqui desejam felicidades a vocês. Cumprimentem-se com um beijo de irmão.
21 The salutacion of me Paul with myne awne hande.
Sou eu mesmo, Paulo, que escrevo esta saudação.
22 Yf eny man love not the Lorde Iesus Christ the same be anathema maranatha.
Quem não ama o Senhor deveria ser excluído da igreja. Venha, Senhor!
23 The grace of ye Lorde Iesus Christ be with you all.
Que a graça do nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo esteja com vocês!
24 My love be with you all in Christ Iesu. Ame
Que meu amor esteja com vocês todos, em Cristo Jesus! Amém!
