1 Corinthians 12
1 In spirituall thinges brethren I wolde not have you ignoraunt.
he bhraatara. h, yuuya. m yad aatmikaan daayaan anavagataasti. s.thatha tadaha. m naabhila. saami|
2 Ye knowe that ye were gentyls and went youre wayes vnto domme ydoles even as ye were ledde.
puurvva. m bhinnajaatiiyaa yuuya. m yadvad viniitaastadvad avaakpratimaanaam anugaamina aadhbam iti jaaniitha|
3 Wherfore I declare vnto you that no man speakynge in the sprete of god defieth Iesus. Also no man can saye that Iesus is the lorde: but by the holy goost.
iti hetoraha. m yu. smabhya. m nivedayaami, ii"svarasyaatmanaa bhaa. samaa. na. h ko. api yii"su. m "sapta iti na vyaaharati, puna"sca pavitre. naatmanaa viniita. m vinaanya. h ko. api yii"su. m prabhuriti vyaaharttu. m na "saknoti|
4 Ther are diversities of gyftes verely yet but one sprete.
daayaa bahuvidhaa. h kintveka aatmaa
5 And ther are differences of administracions and yet but one lorde.
paricaryyaa"sca bahuvidhaa. h kintveka. h prabhu. h|
6 And ther are divers maners of operacions and yet but one God which worketh all thinges that are wrought in all creatures.
saadhanaani bahuvidhaani kintu sarvve. su sarvvasaadhaka ii"svara eka. h|
7 The gyftes of ye sprete are geven to every man to proffit ye congregacion.
ekaikasmai tasyaatmano dar"sana. m parahitaartha. m diiyate|
8 To one is geven thorow the spirite the vtteraunce of wisdome? To another is geven the vtteraunce of knowledge by ye same sprete.
ekasmai tenaatmanaa j naanavaakya. m diiyate, anyasmai tenaivaatmanaadi. s.ta. m vidyaavaakyam,
9 To another is geuen fayth by ye same sprete. To another ye gyftes of healynge by the same sprete.
anyasmai tenaivaatmanaa vi"svaasa. h, anyasmai tenaivaatmanaa svaasthyadaana"sakti. h,
10 To another power to do myracles. To another prophesie? To another iudgement of spretes. To another divers tonges. To another the interpretacion of toges.
anyasmai du. hsaadhyasaadhana"saktiranyasmai ce"svariiyaade"sa. h, anyasmai caatimaanu. sikasyaade"sasya vicaarasaamarthyam, anyasmai parabhaa. saabhaa. sa. na"saktiranyasmai ca bhaa. saarthabhaa. sa. nasaamarya. m diiyate|
11 And these all worketh eve ye silfe same sprete devydynge to every man severall gyftes even as he will.
ekenaadvitiiyenaatmanaa yathaabhilaa. sam ekaikasmai janaayaikaika. m daana. m vitarataa taani sarvvaa. ni saadhyante|
12 For as the body is one and hath many mebres and all the membres of one body though they be many yet are but one body: even so is Christ.
deha eka. h sannapi yadvad bahva"ngayukto bhavati, tasyaikasya vapu. so. a"ngaanaa. m bahutvena yadvad eka. m vapu rbhavati, tadvat khrii. s.ta. h|
13 For in one sprete are we all baptysed to make one body whether we be Iewes or getyls whether we be bonde or fre: and have all dronke of one sprete.
yato heto ryihuudibhinnajaatiiyadaasasvatantraa vaya. m sarvve majjanenaikenaatmanaikadehiik. rtaa. h sarvve caikaatmabhuktaa abhavaama|
14 For the body is not one member but many.
ekenaa"ngena vapu rna bhavati kintu bahubhi. h|
15 Yf the fote saye: I am not the honde therfore I am not of the body: is he therfore not of ye body:
tatra cara. na. m yadi vadet naaha. m hastastasmaat "sariirasya bhaago naasmiiti tarhyanena "sariiraat tasya viyogo na bhavati|
16 And if ye eare saye I am not the eye: therfore I am not of the body: is he therfore not of the body?
"srotra. m vaa yadi vadet naaha. m nayana. m tasmaat "sariirasyaa. m"so naasmiiti tarhyanena "sariiraat tasya viyogo na bhavati|
17 If all the body were an eye where were then the eare? If all were hearynge: where were the smellynge?
k. rtsna. m "sariira. m yadi dar"sanendriya. m bhavet tarhi "srava. nendriya. m kutra sthaasyati? tat k. rtsna. m yadi vaa "srava. nendriya. m bhavet tarhi ghra. nendriya. m kutra sthaasyati?
18 But now hath god disposed the membres every one of them in the body at his awne pleasure.
kintvidaaniim ii"svare. na yathaabhila. sita. m tathaivaa"ngapratya"ngaanaam ekaika. m "sariire sthaapita. m|
19 If they were all one member: where were the body?
tat k. rtsna. m yadyekaa"ngaruupi bhavet tarhi "sariire kutra sthaasyati?
20 Now are ther many membres yet but one body.
tasmaad a"ngaani bahuuni santi "sariira. m tvekameva|
21 And the eye can not saye vnto the honde I have no nede of the: nor ye heed also to the fete. I have no nede of you.
ataeva tvayaa mama prayojana. m naastiiti vaaca. m paa. ni. m vaditu. m nayana. m na "saknoti, tathaa yuvaabhyaa. m mama prayojana. m naastiiti muurddhaa cara. nau vaditu. m na "saknoti. h;
22 Ye rather a greate deale those mebres of the body which seme to be most feble are most necessary.
vastutastu vigrahasya yaanya"ngaanyasmaabhi rdurbbalaani budhyante taanyeva saprayojanaani santi|
23 And apo those mebres of yt body which we thinke lest honest put we most honestie on. And oure vngodly parties have most beauty on.
yaani ca "sariiramadhye. avamanyaani budhyate taanyasmaabhiradhika. m "sobhyante| yaani ca kud. r"syaani taani sud. r"syataraa. ni kriyante
24 For oure honest members nede it not. But God hath so disposed the body ad hath geven most honoure to that parte which laked
kintu yaani svaya. m sud. r"syaani te. saa. m "sobhanam ni. sprayojana. m|
25 lest there shuld be eny stryfe in the body: but that the members shuld indifferetly care one for another.
"sariiramadhye yad bhedo na bhavet kintu sarvvaa. nya"ngaani yad aikyabhaavena sarvve. saa. m hita. m cintayanti tadartham ii"svare. naapradhaanam aadara. niiya. m k. rtvaa "sariira. m viracita. m|
26 And yf one member suffer all suffer with him: yf one member be had in honoure all members be glad also.
tasmaad ekasyaa"ngasya pii. daayaa. m jaataayaa. m sarvvaa. nya"ngaani tena saha pii. dyante, ekasya samaadare jaate ca sarvvaa. ni tena saha sa. mh. r.syanti|
27 Ye are the body of Christ and members one of another.
yuuya nca khrii. s.tasya "sariira. m, yu. smaakam ekaika"sca tasyaikaikam a"nga. m|
28 And God hath also ordeyned in the congregacion fyrst the Apostels secodarely prophetes thyrdly teachers then the that do miracles: after that the gyftes of healynge helpers governers diversite of tonges.
kecit kecit samitaavii"svare. na prathamata. h preritaa dvitiiyata ii"svariiyaade"savaktaarast. rtiiyata upade. s.taaro niyuktaa. h, tata. h para. m kebhyo. api citrakaaryyasaadhanasaamarthyam anaamayakara. na"saktirupak. rtau loka"saasane vaa naipu. nya. m naanaabhaa. saabhaa. sa. nasaamarthya. m vaa tena vyataari|
29 Are all Apostles? Are all Prophetes? Are all teachers? Are all doars of miracles?
sarvve ki. m preritaa. h? sarvve kim ii"svariiyaade"savaktaara. h? sarvve kim upade. s.taara. h? sarvve ki. m citrakaaryyasaadhakaa. h?
30 Have all the gyftes of healinge? Do all speake wt tonges? Do all interprete?
sarvve kim anaamayakara. na"saktiyuktaa. h? sarvve ki. m parabhaa. saavaadina. h? sarvve vaa ki. m parabhaa. saarthaprakaa"sakaa. h?
31 Covet after ye best giftes. Amd yet shewe I vnto you a moare excellent waye.
yuuya. m "sre. s.thadaayaan labdhu. m yatadhva. m| anena yuuya. m mayaa sarvvottamamaarga. m dar"sayitavyaa. h|
