1 Corinthians 12

1 In spirituall thinges brethren I wolde not have you ignoraunt.

സഹോദരങ്ങളേ, ആത്മാവിന്റെ ദാനങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു നിങ്ങൾ അജ്ഞരായിരിക്കരുത് എന്നു ഞാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.

2 Ye knowe that ye were gentyls and went youre wayes vnto domme ydoles even as ye were ledde.

നിങ്ങൾ ക്രിസ്തുവിശ്വാസികളല്ലാതിരുന്നപ്പോൾ, വശീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ട് ഊമവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളുടെ അടുത്തേക്ക് വഴിതെറ്റിപ്പോയതു നിങ്ങൾക്കറിയില്ലേ?

3 Wherfore I declare vnto you that no man speakynge in the sprete of god defieth Iesus. Also no man can saye that Iesus is the lorde: but by the holy goost.

അതിനാൽ, നിങ്ങൾ ഒരു കാര്യം അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കണം: ദൈവാത്മാവിൽ സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ആരും “യേശു ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ” എന്നു പറയുകയില്ല; പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനാൽ അല്ലാതെ ആർക്കും “യേശു കർത്താവാകുന്നു” എന്നു പറയാനും സാധ്യമല്ല.

4 Ther are diversities of gyftes verely yet but one sprete.

കൃപാദാനങ്ങൾ വിവിധതരം; അവനൽകുന്ന ആത്മാവോ ഒരുവൻമാത്രം;

5 And ther are differences of administracions and yet but one lorde.

ശുശ്രൂഷകൾ വിവിധതരം, കർത്താവോ ഒരുവൻമാത്രം.

6 And ther are divers maners of operacions and yet but one God which worketh all thinges that are wrought in all creatures.

പ്രവൃത്തികളും ബഹുവിധം, എന്നാൽ എല്ലാവരിലൂടെയും എല്ലാം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന ദൈവം ഒരുവൻമാത്രം.

7 The gyftes of ye sprete are geven to every man to proffit ye congregacion.

പൊതുനന്മയുദ്ദേശിച്ചാണ് ഓരോ വ്യക്തിക്കും ആത്മാവിന്റെ ദാനം നൽകിയിരിക്കുന്നത്.

8 To one is geven thorow the spirite the vtteraunce of wisdome? To another is geven the vtteraunce of knowledge by ye same sprete.

ഒരാൾക്ക് ദൈവാത്മാവിലൂടെ ജ്ഞാനത്തിന്റെ വചനം നൽകപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; മറ്റൊരാൾക്ക് അതേ ആത്മാവിനാൽ പരിജ്ഞാനത്തിന്റെ വചനവും.

9 To another is geuen fayth by ye same sprete. To another ye gyftes of healynge by the same sprete.

ഇനി വേറൊരാൾക്ക് അതേ ആത്മാവിനാൽ വിശ്വാസം, മറ്റൊരാൾക്ക് ആ ആത്മാവിനാൽത്തന്നെ രോഗസൗഖ്യത്തിനുള്ള കൃപാദാനങ്ങൾ,

10 To another power to do myracles. To another prophesie? To another iudgement of spretes. To another divers tonges. To another the interpretacion of toges.

ഒരാൾക്ക് അത്ഭുതശക്തികൾ, മറ്റൊരാൾക്കു പ്രവചനം, വേറൊരാൾക്ക് ആത്മാക്കളെ വിവേചിക്കാനുള്ളദാനങ്ങൾ, ഇനിയൊരാൾക്കു ബഹുവിധഭാഷകൾ സംസാരിക്കാനുള്ളദാനം, ഇനി ഒരുവനു ഭാഷകളുടെ വ്യാഖ്യാനം.

11 And these all worketh eve ye silfe same sprete devydynge to every man severall gyftes even as he will.

ഇവയെല്ലാംതന്നെ ഒരേ ആത്മാവിന്റെ പ്രവർത്തനമാണ്. അവിടത്തെ ഹിതാനുസാരം ഓരോരുത്തർക്കും അവ വിതരണംചെയ്യുന്നു.

12 For as the body is one and hath many mebres and all the membres of one body though they be many yet are but one body: even so is Christ.

പല അവയവങ്ങളുണ്ടെങ്കിലും ശരീരം ഒന്നായിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെയും പല അവയവങ്ങൾചേർന്ന് ഒരു ശരീരം രൂപപ്പെടുന്നതുപോലെയും തന്നെയാണ് ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ശരീരംസംബന്ധിച്ചും.

13 For in one sprete are we all baptysed to make one body whether we be Iewes or getyls whether we be bonde or fre: and have all dronke of one sprete.

നാം യെഹൂദരോ ഗ്രീക്കുകാരോ അടിമകളോ സ്വതന്ത്രരോ ആരുമായിക്കൊള്ളട്ടെ, ഒരൊറ്റശരീരമായി രൂപപ്പെടാൻ നാമെല്ലാവരും ഒരേ ആത്മാവിനാൽ സ്നാനമേറ്റവരും പാനംചെയ്യാൻ ഒരേ ആത്മാവു നൽകപ്പെട്ടവരുമായിരിക്കുന്നു.

14 For the body is not one member but many.

ശരീരമെന്നത് ഒരവയവമല്ല, പല അവയവങ്ങൾചേർന്നതാണ്.

15 Yf the fote saye: I am not the honde therfore I am not of the body: is he therfore not of ye body:

“ഞാൻ കൈ അല്ലാത്തതുകൊണ്ടു ശരീരത്തിലുള്ളതല്ല,” എന്നു കാൽ പറഞ്ഞു എന്ന കാരണത്താൽ അത് ശരീരത്തിന്റെ അവയവം അല്ലാതാകുന്നില്ല.

16 And if ye eare saye I am not the eye: therfore I am not of the body: is he therfore not of the body?

“ഞാൻ കണ്ണല്ലാത്തതുകൊണ്ടു ശരീരത്തിലുള്ളതല്ല,” എന്നു ചെവി പറഞ്ഞു എന്ന കാരണത്താൽ അതു ശരീരഭാഗം അല്ലാതാകുന്നില്ല.

17 If all the body were an eye where were then the eare? If all were hearynge: where were the smellynge?

ശരീരം ആകമാനം കണ്ണായിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ കേൾക്കുന്നതെങ്ങനെ? ശരീരംമുഴുവൻ ചെവിയായിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ മണം അറിയുന്നതെങ്ങനെ?

18 But now hath god disposed the membres every one of them in the body at his awne pleasure.

എന്നാൽ, ദൈവമാണ് അവിടത്തെ ഹിതമനുസരിച്ച് അവയവങ്ങളെ ശരീരത്തിൽ ക്രമീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.

19 If they were all one member: where were the body?

എല്ലാംകൂടി ഒരു അവയവംമാത്രമായിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ ശരീരം എവിടെ?

20 Now are ther many membres yet but one body.

എന്നാൽ ഇപ്പോഴുള്ളത് പല അവയവങ്ങൾചേർന്ന ഒരു ശരീരമാണ്.

21 And the eye can not saye vnto the honde I have no nede of the: nor ye heed also to the fete. I have no nede of you.

“എനിക്കു നിന്നെ ആവശ്യമില്ല!” എന്നു കണ്ണിനു കൈയോടു പറയാൻ സാധ്യമല്ല. തലയ്ക്കു കാലുകളോട്, “എനിക്കു നിങ്ങളെ ആവശ്യമില്ല!” എന്നു പറയാനും സാധ്യമല്ല.

22 Ye rather a greate deale those mebres of the body which seme to be most feble are most necessary.

വാസ്തവത്തിൽ ബലഹീനമായി കാണപ്പെടുന്ന അവയവങ്ങളാണ് അവശ്യം വേണ്ടവ.

23 And apo those mebres of yt body which we thinke lest honest put we most honestie on. And oure vngodly parties have most beauty on.

മാന്യത കുറവെന്നു കരുതുന്ന അവയവങ്ങൾക്കു നാം സവിശേഷമാന്യത നൽകുന്നു; സൗന്ദര്യം കുറഞ്ഞവെക്ക് സൗന്ദര്യം വരുത്തുന്നു.

24 For oure honest members nede it not. But God hath so disposed the body ad hath geven most honoure to that parte which laked

സൗന്ദര്യമുള്ള അവയവങ്ങൾക്കു പ്രത്യേക കരുതൽ ആവശ്യമില്ല, ശരീരത്തിൽ അനൈക്യമുണ്ടാകാതെ ഓരോ അവയവവും മറ്റ് അവയവങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് കരുതലുള്ളവരായിരിക്കാൻ ദൈവം അവയവങ്ങളെ, മാന്യത കുറഞ്ഞവെക്കു മാന്യതനൽകി പരസ്പരം സംയോജിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

25 lest there shuld be eny stryfe in the body: but that the members shuld indifferetly care one for another.

26 And yf one member suffer all suffer with him: yf one member be had in honoure all members be glad also.

ആകയാൽ ഒരു അവയവം കഷ്ടം അനുഭവിക്കുന്നെങ്കിൽ മറ്റുള്ളവയും അതിനോടൊപ്പം കഷ്ടം അനുഭവിക്കുന്നു; ഒന്ന് ആദരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നെങ്കിൽ മറ്റെല്ലാം അതിനോടുകൂടെ ആനന്ദിക്കുന്നു.

27 Ye are the body of Christ and members one of another.

നിങ്ങൾ ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ശരീരവും ഓരോരുത്തരും ആ ശരീരത്തിന്റെ അവയവങ്ങളുമാകുന്നു.

28 And God hath also ordeyned in the congregacion fyrst the Apostels secodarely prophetes thyrdly teachers then the that do miracles: after that the gyftes of healynge helpers governers diversite of tonges.

ഒന്നാമത് അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരെയും രണ്ടാമതു പ്രവാചകരെയും മൂന്നാമത് ഉപദേഷ്ടാക്കന്മാരെയും പിന്നെ അത്ഭുതപ്രവൃത്തികൾ, രോഗങ്ങളുടെ സൗഖ്യം, സഹായംചെയ്യൽ, നേതൃനൈപുണ്യം, വിവിധഭാഷകൾ എന്നിങ്ങനെയുള്ള കൃപാദാനങ്ങളും ദൈവം സഭയ്ക്കു നൽകിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

29 Are all Apostles? Are all Prophetes? Are all teachers? Are all doars of miracles?

എല്ലാവരും അപ്പൊസ്തലരോ? എല്ലാവരും പ്രവാചകരോ? എല്ലാവരും ഉപദേഷ്ടാക്കളോ? എല്ലാവരും അത്ഭുതങ്ങൾ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നവരോ?

30 Have all the gyftes of healinge? Do all speake wt tonges? Do all interprete?

എല്ലാവർക്കും രോഗസൗഖ്യത്തിനുള്ള കൃപാദാനമുണ്ടോ? എല്ലാവരും അജ്ഞാതഭാഷകൾ സംസാരിക്കുന്നവരോ? എല്ലാവരും വ്യാഖ്യാനിക്കുന്നവരോ?

31 Covet after ye best giftes. Amd yet shewe I vnto you a moare excellent waye.

ശ്രേഷ്ഠതരമായ കൃപാദാനങ്ങൾ ഹൃദയപൂർവം വാഞ്ഛിക്കുക. ഇനി ഏറ്റവും ശ്രേഷ്ഠമായ മാർഗം ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു കാണിച്ചുതരാം.
