Aionian Verses
I, however, say to you that any one who cherishes anger against his brother shall be liable to answer for it to the Court; and whoever pours contempt upon his brother shall be liable to answer for it to the High Council, while whoever calls down curses upon him shall be liable to answer for it in the fiery Pit. (Geenna )
کِنْتْوَہَں یُشْمانْ وَدامِ، یَح کَشْچِتْ کارَنَں وِنا نِجَبھْراتْرے کُپْیَتِ، سَ وِچارَسَبھایاں دَنْڈارْہو بھَوِشْیَتِ؛ یَح کَشْچِچَّ سْوِییَسَہَجَں نِرْبّودھَں وَدَتِ، سَ مَہاسَبھایاں دَنْڈارْہو بھَوِشْیَتِ؛ پُنَشْچَ تْوَں مُوڈھَ اِتِ واکْیَں یَدِ کَشْچِتْ سْوِییَبھْراتَرَں وَکْتِ، تَرْہِ نَرَکاگْنَو سَ دَنْڈارْہو بھَوِشْیَتِ۔ (Geenna ) |
If your right eye is a snare to you, take it out and throw it away. It would be best for you to lose one part of your body, and not to have the whole of it thrown into the Pit. (Geenna )
تَسْماتْ تَوَ دَکْشِنَں نیتْرَں یَدِ تْواں بادھَتے، تَرْہِ تَنّیتْرَمْ اُتْپاٹْیَ دُورے نِکْشِپَ، یَسْماتْ تَوَ سَرْوَّوَپُشو نَرَکے نِکْشیپاتْ تَوَیکانْگَسْیَ ناشو وَرَں۔ (Geenna ) |
And, if your right hand is a snare to you, cut it off and throw it away. It would be best for you to lose one part of your body, and not to have the whole of it go down to the Pit. (Geenna )
یَدْوا تَوَ دَکْشِنَح کَرو یَدِ تْواں بادھَتے، تَرْہِ تَں کَرَں چھِتّوا دُورے نِکْشِپَ، یَتَح سَرْوَّوَپُشو نَرَکے نِکْشیپاتْ ایکانْگَسْیَ ناشو وَرَں۔ (Geenna ) |
And do not be afraid of those who kill the body, but are unable to kill the soul; rather be afraid of him who is able to destroy both soul and body in the Pit. (Geenna )
یے کایَں ہَنْتُں شَکْنُوَنْتِ ناتْمانَں، تیبھْیو ما بھَیشْٹَ؛ یَح کایاتْمانَو نِرَیے ناشَیِتُں، شَکْنوتِ، تَتو بِبھِیتَ۔ (Geenna ) |
And you, Capernaum! Will you ‘exalt yourself to Heaven’? ‘You shall go down to the Place of Death.’ For, if the miracles which have been done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have been standing to this day. (Hadēs )
اَپَرَنْچَ بَتَ کَپھَرْناہُومْ، تْوَں سْوَرْگَں یاوَدُنَّتوسِ، کِنْتُ نَرَکے نِکْشیپْسْیَسے، یَسْماتْ تْوَیِ یانْیاشْچَرْیّانِ کَرْمَّنْیَکارِشَتَ، یَدِ تانِ سِدومْنَگَرَ اَکارِشْیَنْتَ، تَرْہِ تَدَدْیَ یاوَدَسْتھاسْیَتْ۔ (Hadēs ) |
Whoever speaks against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in the present age, or in the age to come. (aiōn )
یو مَنُجَسُتَسْیَ وِرُدّھاں کَتھاں کَتھَیَتِ، تَسْیاپَرادھَسْیَ کْشَما بھَوِتُں شَکْنوتِ، کِنْتُ یَح کَشْچِتْ پَوِتْرَسْیاتْمَنو وِرُدّھاں کَتھاں کَتھَیَتِ نیہَلوکے نَ پْریتْیَ تَسْیاپَرادھَسْیَ کْشَما بھَوِتُں شَکْنوتِ۔ (aiōn ) |
By the seed which was sown among the brambles is meant the man who hears the Message, but the cares of life and the glamour of wealth completely choke the Message, so that it gives no return. (aiōn )
اَپَرَں کَنْٹَکاناں مَدھْیے بِیجانْیُپْتانِ تَدَرْتھَ ایشَح؛ کینَچِتْ کَتھایاں شْرُتایاں ساںسارِکَچِنْتابھِ رْبھْرانْتِبھِشْچَ سا گْرَسْیَتے، تینَ سا ما وِپھَلا بھَوَتِ۔ (aiōn ) |
and the enemy who sowed them is the Devil. The harvest-time is the close of the age, and the reapers are angels. (aiōn )
وَنْیَیَوَسانِ پاپاتْمَنَح سَنْتاناح۔ یینَ رِپُنا تانْیُپْتانِ سَ شَیَتانَح، کَرْتَّنَسَمَیَشْچَ جَگَتَح شیشَح، کَرْتَّکاح سْوَرْگِییَدُوتاح۔ (aiōn ) |
And, just as the tares are gathered and burnt, so it will be at the close of the age. (aiōn )
یَتھا وَنْیَیَوَسانِ سَںگرِہْیَ داہْیَنْتے، تَتھا جَگَتَح شیشے بھَوِشْیَتِ؛ (aiōn ) |
So will it be at the close of the age. The angels will go out and separate the wicked from the righteous, (aiōn )
تَتھَیوَ جَگَتَح شیشے بھَوِشْیَتِ، پھَلَتَح سْوَرْگِییَدُوتا آگَتْیَ پُنْیَوَجَّناناں مَدھْیاتْ پاپِنَح پرِتھَکْ کرِتْوا وَہْنِکُنْڈے نِکْشیپْسْیَنْتِ، (aiōn ) |
Yes, and I say to you, Your name is ‘Peter — a Rock, and on this rock I will build my Church, and the Powers of the Place of Death shall not prevail over it. (Hadēs )
اَتوہَں تْواں وَدامِ، تْوَں پِتَرَح (پْرَسْتَرَح) اَہَنْچَ تَسْیَ پْرَسْتَرَسْیوپَرِ سْوَمَنْڈَلِیں نِرْمّاسْیامِ، تینَ نِرَیو بَلاتْ تاں پَراجیتُں نَ شَکْشْیَتِ۔ (Hadēs ) |
If your hand or your foot is a snare to you, cut it off, and throw it away. It would be better for you to enter the Life maimed or lame, than to have both hands, or both feet, and be thrown into the aeonian fire. (aiōnios )
تَسْماتْ تَوَ کَرَشْچَرَنو وا یَدِ تْواں بادھَتے، تَرْہِ تَں چھِتّوا نِکْشِپَ، دْوِکَرَسْیَ دْوِپَدَسْیَ وا تَوانَپْتَوَہْنَو نِکْشیپاتْ، کھَنْجَسْیَ وا چھِنَّہَسْتَسْیَ تَوَ جِیوَنے پْرَویشو وَرَں۔ (aiōnios ) |
If your eye is a snare to you, take it out, and throw it away. It would be better for you to enter the Life with only one eye, than to have both eyes and be thrown into the fiery Pit. (Geenna )

And a man came up to Jesus, and said: “Teacher, what good thing must I do to obtain Immortal Life?” (aiōnios )
اَپَرَمْ ایکَ آگَتْیَ تَں پَپْرَچّھَ، ہے پَرَمَگُرو، اَنَنْتایُح پْراپْتُں مَیا کِں کِں سَتْکَرْمَّ کَرْتَّوْیَں؟ (aiōnios ) |
Every one who has left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or children, or land, on account of my Name, will receive many times as much, and will ‘gain Immortal Life.’ (aiōnios )
اَنْیَچَّ یَح کَشْچِتْ مَمَ نامَکارَناتْ گرِہَں وا بھْراتَرَں وا بھَگِنِیں وا پِتَرَں وا ماتَرَں وا جایاں وا بالَکَں وا بھُومِں پَرِتْیَجَتِ، سَ تیشاں شَتَگُنَں لَپْسْیَتے، اَنَنْتایُمودھِکارِتْوَنْچَ پْراپْسْیَتِ۔ (aiōnios ) |
and, noticing a solitary fig tree by the road-side, he went up to it, but found nothing on it but leaves. So he said to it: “Never again shall fruit be gathered off you.” And suddenly the fruit tree withered up. (aiōn )
تَتو مارْگَپارْشْوَ اُڈُمْبَرَورِکْشَمیکَں وِلوکْیَ تَتْسَمِیپَں گَتْوا پَتْرانِ وِنا کِمَپِ نَ پْراپْیَ تَں پادَپَں پْروواچَ، اَدْیارَبھْیَ کَداپِ تْوَیِ پھَلَں نَ بھَوَتُ؛ تینَ تَتْکْشَناتْ سَ اُڈُمْبَرَماہِیرُہَح شُشْکَتاں گَتَح۔ (aiōn ) |
Alas for you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, hypocrites that you are! You scour land and sea to make a single convert, and, when he is gained, you make him twice as deserving of the Pit as you are yourselves. (Geenna )
کَنْچَنَ پْراپْیَ سْوَتو دْوِگُنَنَرَکَبھاجَنَں تَں کُرُتھَ۔ (Geenna ) |
You serpents and brood of vipers! How can you escape being sentenced to the Pit? (Geenna )
رے بھُجَگاح کرِشْنَبھُجَگَوَںشاح، یُویَں کَتھَں نَرَکَدَنْڈادْ رَکْشِشْیَدھْوے۔ (Geenna ) |
so, while Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, his disciples came up to him privately and said: “Tell us when this will be, and what will be the sign of your Coming, and of the close of the age.” (aiōn )
اَنَنْتَرَں تَسْمِنْ جَیتُنَپَرْوَّتوپَرِ سَمُپَوِشْٹے شِشْیاسْتَسْیَ سَمِیپَماگَتْیَ گُپْتَں پَپْرَچّھُح، ایتا گھَٹَناح کَدا بھَوِشْیَنْتِ؟ بھَوَتَ آگَمَنَسْیَ یُگانْتَسْیَ چَ کِں لَکْشْمَ؟ تَدَسْمانْ وَدَتُ۔ (aiōn ) |
Then he will say to those on his left ‘Go from my presence, accursed, into the ‘aeonian fire which has been prepared for the Devil and his angels.’ (aiōnios )
پَشْچاتْ سَ وامَسْتھِتانْ جَنانْ وَدِشْیَتِ، رے شاپَگْرَسْتاح سَرْوّے، شَیتانے تَسْیَ دُوتیبھْیَشْچَ یونَنْتَوَہْنِراسادِتَ آسْتے، یُویَں مَدَنْتِکاتْ تَمَگْنِں گَچّھَتَ۔ (aiōnios ) |
And these last will go away ‘into aeonian punishment,’ but the righteous ‘into aeonian life.’” (aiōnios )
پَشْچادَمْیَنَنْتَشاسْتِں کِنْتُ دھارْمِّکا اَنَنْتایُشَں بھوکْتُں یاسْیَنْتِ۔ (aiōnios ) |
and teaching them to lay to heart all the commands that I have given you; and, remember, I myself am with you every day until the close of the age.” (aiōn )
پَشْیَتَ، جَگَدَنْتَں یاوَتْ سَداہَں یُشْمابھِح ساکَں تِشْٹھامِ۔ اِتِ۔ (aiōn ) |
but whoever slanders the Holy Spirit remains unforgiven to the end; he has to answer for an enduring sin.” (aiōn , aiōnios )

I will show you of whom you should be afraid. Be afraid of him who, after killing you, has the power to fling you into the Pit. Yes, I say, be afraid of him. (Geenna )
تَرْہِ کَسْمادْ بھیتَوْیَمْ اِتْیَہَں وَدامِ، یَح شَرِیرَں ناشَیِتْوا نَرَکَں نِکْشیپْتُں شَکْنوتِ تَسْمادیوَ بھَیَں کُرُتَ، پُنَرَپِ وَدامِ تَسْمادیوَ بھَیَں کُرُتَ۔ (Geenna ) |
His master complimented this dishonest steward on the shrewdness of his action. And indeed men of the world are shrewder in dealing with their fellow-men than those who have the Light. (aiōn )
تینَیوَ پْرَبھُسْتَمَیَتھارْتھَکرِتَمْ اَدھِیشَں تَدْبُدّھِنَیپُنْیاتْ پْرَشَشَںسَ؛ اِتّھَں دِیپْتِرُوپَسَنْتانیبھْیَ ایتَتْسَںسارَسْیَ سَنْتانا وَرْتَّمانَکالےدھِکَبُدّھِمَنْتو بھَوَنْتِ۔ (aiōn ) |
And I say to you ‘Win friends for yourselves with your dishonest money,’ so that, when it comes to an end, there may be a welcome for you into the Eternal Home. (aiōnios )
اَتو وَدامِ یُویَمَپْیَیَتھارْتھینَ دھَنینَ مِتْرانِ لَبھَدھْوَں تَتو یُشْماسُ پَدَبھْرَشْٹیشْوَپِ تانِ چِرَکالَمْ آشْرَیَں داسْیَنْتِ۔ (aiōnios ) |
In the Place of Death he looked up in his torment, and saw Abraham at a distance and Lazarus at his side. (Hadēs )
پَشْچاتْ سَ دھَنَوانَپِ مَمارَ، تَں شْمَشانے سْتھاپَیاماسُشْچَ؛ کِنْتُ پَرَلوکے سَ ویدَناکُلَح سَنْ اُورْدّھواں نِرِیکْشْیَ بَہُدُورادْ اِبْراہِیمَں تَتْکْروڈَ اِلِیاسَرَنْچَ وِلوکْیَ رُوَنُّواچَ؛ (Hadēs ) |
And one of the Presidents asked Jesus this question — “Good Teacher, what must I do if I am to gain Immortal Life?” (aiōnios )

“The men and women of this world,” said Jesus, “marry and are given in marriage; (aiōn )
تَدا یِیشُح پْرَتْیُواچَ، ایتَسْیَ جَگَتو لوکا وِوَہَنْتِ واگْدَتّاشْچَ بھَوَنْتِ (aiōn ) |
but, for those who are thought worthy to attain to that other world and the resurrection from the dead, there is no marrying or being married, (aiōn )
کِنْتُ یے تَجَّگَتْپْراپْتِیوگْیَتْوینَ گَنِتاں بھَوِشْیَنْتِ شْمَشاناچّوتّھاسْیَنْتِ تے نَ وِوَہَنْتِ واگْدَتّاشْچَ نَ بھَوَنْتِ، (aiōn ) |
that every one who believes in him may have Immortal Life.” (aiōnios )
تَسْمادْ یَح کَشْچِتْ تَسْمِنْ وِشْوَسِشْیَتِ سووِناشْیَح سَنْ اَنَنْتایُح پْراپْسْیَتِ۔ (aiōnios ) |
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that every one who believes in him may not be lost, but have Immortal Life. (aiōnios )
اِیشْوَرَ اِتّھَں جَگَدَدَیَتَ یَتْ سْوَمَدْوِتِییَں تَنَیَں پْرادَداتْ تَتو یَح کَشْچِتْ تَسْمِنْ وِشْوَسِشْیَتِ سووِناشْیَح سَنْ اَنَنْتایُح پْراپْسْیَتِ۔ (aiōnios ) |
He who believes in the Son has Immortal Life, while he who rejects the Son will not even see that Life, but remains under ‘God’s displeasure.’ (aiōnios )
یَح کَشْچِتْ پُتْرے وِشْوَسِتِ سَ ایوانَنْتَمْ پَرَمایُح پْراپْنوتِ کِنْتُ یَح کَشْچِتْ پُتْرے نَ وِشْوَسِتِ سَ پَرَمایُشو دَرْشَنَں نَ پْراپْنوتِ کِنْتْوِیشْوَرَسْیَ کوپَبھاجَنَں بھُوتْوا تِشْٹھَتِ۔ (aiōnios ) |
but whoever once drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst any more; but the water that I will give him shall become a spring welling up within him — a source of Immortal Life.” (aiōn , aiōnios )
کِنْتُ مَیا دَتَّں پانِییَں یَح پِوَتِ سَ پُنَح کَداپِ ترِشارْتّو نَ بھَوِشْیَتِ۔ مَیا دَتَّمْ اِدَں تویَں تَسْیانْتَح پْرَسْرَوَنَرُوپَں بھُوتْوا اَنَنْتایُرْیاوَتْ سْروشْیَتِ۔ (aiōn , aiōnios ) |
Already the reaper is receiving wages and gathering in sheaves for Immortal Life, so that sower and reaper rejoice together. (aiōnios )
یَشْچھِنَتِّ سَ ویتَنَں لَبھَتے اَنَنْتایُحسْوَرُوپَں شَسْیَں سَ گرِہْلاتِ چَ، تینَیوَ وَپْتا چھیتّا چَ یُگَپَدْ آنَنْدَتَح۔ (aiōnios ) |
In truth I tell you that he who listens to my Message and believes him who sent me, has Immortal Life, and does not come under condemnation, but has already passed out of Death into Life. (aiōnios )
یُشْماناہَں یَتھارْتھَتَرَں وَدامِ یو جَنو مَمَ واکْیَں شْرُتْوا مَتْپْریرَکے وِشْوَسِتِ سونَنْتایُح پْراپْنوتِ کَداپِ دَنْڈَباجَنَں نَ بھَوَتِ نِدھَنادُتّھایَ پَرَمایُح پْراپْنوتِ۔ (aiōnios ) |
You search the Scriptures, because you think that you find in them Immortal Life; and, though it is those very Scriptures that bear testimony to me, (aiōnios )
دھَرْمَّپُسْتَکانِ یُویَمْ آلوچَیَدھْوَں تَے رْواکْیَیرَنَنْتایُح پْراپْسْیامَ اِتِ یُویَں بُدھْیَدھْوے تَدّھَرْمَّپُسْتَکانِ مَدَرْتھے پْرَمانَں دَدَتِ۔ (aiōnios ) |
Work, not for the food that perishes, but for the food that lasts for Immortal Life, which the Son of Man will give you; for upon him the Father — God himself — has set the seal of his approval.” (aiōnios )
کْشَیَنِییَبھَکْشْیارْتھَں ما شْرامِشْٹَ کِنْتْوَنْتایُرْبھَکْشْیارْتھَں شْرامْیَتَ، تَسْماتْ تادرِشَں بھَکْشْیَں مَنُجَپُتْرو یُشْمابھْیَں داسْیَتِ؛ تَسْمِنْ تاتَ اِیشْوَرَح پْرَمانَں پْراداتْ۔ (aiōnios ) |
For it is the will of my Father that every one who sees the Son, and believes in him, should have Immortal Life; and I myself will raise him up at the Last Day.” (aiōnios )
یَح کَشْچِنْ مانَوَسُتَں وِلوکْیَ وِشْوَسِتِ سَ شیشَدِنے مَیوتّھاپِتَح سَنْ اَنَنْتایُح پْراپْسْیَتِ اِتِ مَتْپْریرَکَسْیابھِمَتَں۔ (aiōnios ) |
In truth I tell you, he who believes in me has Immortal Life. (aiōnios )
اَہَں یُشْمانْ یَتھارْتھَتَرَں وَدامِ یو جَنو مَیِ وِشْواسَں کَروتِ سونَنْتایُح پْراپْنوتِ۔ (aiōnios ) |
I am the Living Bread that has come down from Heaven. If any one eats of this Bread, he will live for ever; and the Bread that I shall give is my flesh, which I will give for the Life of the world.” (aiōn )
یَجِّیوَنَبھَکْشْیَں سْوَرْگاداگَچّھَتْ سوہَمیوَ اِدَں بھَکْشْیَں یو جَنو بھُنْکْتّے سَ نِتْیَجِیوِی بھَوِشْیَتِ۔ پُنَشْچَ جَگَتو جِیوَنارْتھَمَہَں یَتْ سْوَکِییَپِشِتَں داسْیامِ تَدیوَ مَیا وِتَرِتَں بھَکْشْیَمْ۔ (aiōn ) |
He who takes my flesh for his food, and drinks my blood, has Immortal Life; and I will raise him up at the Last Day. (aiōnios )
یو مَمامِشَں سْوادَتِ مَمَ سُدھِرَنْچَ پِوَتِ سونَنْتایُح پْراپْنوتِ تَتَح شیشےہْنِ تَمَہَمْ اُتّھاپَیِشْیامِ۔ (aiōnios ) |
That is the Bread which has come down from Heaven — not such as your ancestors ate, and yet died; he who takes this Bread for his food shall live for ever.” (aiōn )
یَدْبھَکْشْیَں سْوَرْگاداگَچّھَتْ تَدِدَں یَنْمانّاں سْوادِتْوا یُشْماکَں پِتَرومْرِیَنْتَ تادرِشَمْ اِدَں بھَکْشْیَں نَ بھَوَتِ اِدَں بھَکْشْیَں یو بھَکْشَتِ سَ نِتْیَں جِیوِشْیَتِ۔ (aiōn ) |
But Simon Peter answered: “Master, to whom shall we go? Immortal Life is in your teaching; (aiōnios )
تَتَح شِمونْ پِتَرَح پْرَتْیَووچَتْ ہے پْرَبھو کَسْیابھْیَرْنَں گَمِشْیامَح؟ (aiōnios ) |
And a slave does not remain in the home always; but a son remains always. (aiōn )
داسَشْچَ نِرَنْتَرَں نِویشَنے نَ تِشْٹھَتِ کِنْتُ پُتْرو نِرَنْتَرَں تِشْٹھَتِ۔ (aiōn ) |
In truth I tell you, if any one lays my Message to heart, he will never really die.” (aiōn )
اَہَں یُشْمَبھْیَمْ اَتِیوَ یَتھارْتھَں کَتھَیامِ یو نَرو مَدِییَں واچَں مَنْیَتے سَ کَداچَنَ نِدھَنَں نَ دْرَکْشْیَتِ۔ (aiōn ) |
“Now we are sure that you are possessed by a demon,” the Jews replied. “Abraham died, and so did the Prophets; and yet you say ‘If any one lays my Message to heart, he will never know death.’ (aiōn )
یِہُودِییاسْتَمَوَدَنْ تْوَں بھُوتَگْرَسْتَ اِتِیدانِیمْ اَوَیشْمَ۔ اِبْراہِیمْ بھَوِشْیَدْوادِنَنْچَ سَرْوّے مرِتاح کِنْتُ تْوَں بھاشَسے یو نَرو مَمَ بھارَتِیں گرِہْلاتِ سَ جاتُ نِدھاناسْوادَں نَ لَپْسْیَتے۔ (aiōn ) |
Since the world began, such a thing was never heard of as any one’s giving sight to a person born blind. (aiōn )
کوپِ مَنُشْیو جَنْمانْدھایَ چَکْشُشِی اَدَداتْ جَگَدارَمْبھادْ ایتادرِشِیں کَتھاں کوپِ کَداپِ ناشرِنوتْ۔ (aiōn ) |
and I give them Immortal Life, and they shall not be lost; nor shall any one snatch them out of my hands. (aiōn , aiōnios )
اَہَں تیبھْیونَنْتایُ رْدَدامِ، تے کَداپِ نَ نَںکْشْیَنْتِ کوپِ مَمَ کَراتْ تانْ ہَرْتُّں نَ شَکْشْیَتِ۔ (aiōn , aiōnios ) |
and he who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?” (aiōn )
یَح کَشْچَنَ چَ جِیوَنْ مَیِ وِشْوَسِتِ سَ کَداپِ نَ مَرِشْیَتِ، اَسْیاں کَتھایاں کِں وِشْوَسِشِ؟ (aiōn ) |
He who loves his life loses it; while he who hates his life in the present world shall preserve it for Immortal Life. (aiōnios )
یو جَنے نِجَپْرانانْ پْرِیانْ جاناتِ سَ تانْ ہارَیِشْیَتِ کِنْتُ یے جَنَ اِہَلوکے نِجَپْرانانْ اَپْرِیانْ جاناتِ سےنَنْتایُح پْراپْتُں تانْ رَکْشِشْیَتِ۔ (aiōnios ) |
“We,” replied the people, “have learned from the Law that the ‘Christ is to remain for ever’; how is it, then, that you say that the Son of Man must be ‘lifted up’ Who is this ‘Son of Man’?” (aiōn )
تَدا لوکا اَکَتھَیَنْ سوبھِشِکْتَح سَرْوَّدا تِشْٹھَتِیتِ وْیَوَسْتھاگْرَنْتھے شْرُتَمْ اَسْمابھِح، تَرْہِ مَنُشْیَپُتْرَح پْروتّھاپِتو بھَوِشْیَتِیتِ واکْیَں کَتھَں وَدَسِ؟ مَنُشْیَپُتْرویَں کَح؟ (aiōn ) |
And I know that Immortal Life lies in keeping his command. Therefore, whatever I say, I say only what the Father has taught me.” (aiōnios )
تَسْیَ ساجْنا اَنَنْتایُرِتْیَہَں جانامِ، اَتَایواہَں یَتْ کَتھَیامِ تَتْ پِتا یَتھاجْناپَیَتْ تَتھَیوَ کَتھَیامْیَہَمْ۔ (aiōnios ) |
“You shall never wash my feet!” exclaimed Peter. “Unless I wash you,” answered Jesus, “you have nothing in common with me.” (aiōn )
تَتَح پِتَرَح کَتھِتَوانْ بھَوانْ کَداپِ مَمَ پادَو نَ پْرَکْشالَیِشْیَتِ۔ یِیشُرَکَتھَیَدْ یَدِ تْواں نَ پْرَکْشالَیے تَرْہِ مَیِ تَوَ کوپْیَںشو ناسْتِ۔ (aiōn ) |
and I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you always — the Spirit of Truth. (aiōn )
تَتو مَیا پِتُح سَمِیپے پْرارْتھِتے پِتا نِرَنْتَرَں یُشْمابھِح سارْدّھَں سْتھاتُمْ اِتَرَمیکَں سَہایَمْ اَرْتھاتْ سَتْیَمَیَمْ آتْمانَں یُشْماکَں نِکَٹَں پْریشَیِشْیَتِ۔ (aiōn ) |
even as thou gavest him power over all mankind, that he should give Immortal Life to all those whom thou has given him. (aiōnios )
تْوَں یولّوکانْ تَسْیَ ہَسْتے سَمَرْپِتَوانْ سَ یَتھا تیبھْیونَنْتایُ رْدَداتِ تَدَرْتھَں تْوَں پْرانِماتْرانامْ اَدھِپَتِتْوَبھارَں تَسْمَے دَتَّوانْ۔ (aiōnios ) |
And the Immortal Life is this — to know thee the one true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou has sent as thy Messenger. (aiōnios )
یَسْتْوَمْ اَدْوِتِییَح سَتْیَ اِیشْوَرَسْتْوَیا پْریرِتَشْچَ یِیشُح کھْرِیشْٹَ ایتَیورُبھَیوح پَرِچَیے پْراپْتےنَنْتایُ رْبھَوَتِ۔ (aiōnios ) |
For thou wilt not abandon my soul to the Place of Death, Nor surrender me, your holy one, to undergo corruption. (Hadēs )
پَرَلوکے یَتو ہیتوسْتْوَں ماں نَیوَ ہِ تْیَکْشْیَسِ۔ سْوَکِییَں پُنْیَوَنْتَں تْوَں کْشَیِتُں نَیوَ داسْیَسِ۔ ایوَں جِیوَنَمارْگَں تْوَں مامیوَ دَرْشَیِشْیَسِ۔ (Hadēs ) |
and referred to the resurrection of the Christ when he said that ‘he had not been abandoned to the Place of Death, nor had his body undergone corruption.’ (Hadēs )
اِتِ جْناتْوا دایُودْ بھَوِشْیَدْوادِی سَنْ بھَوِشْیَتْکالِییَجْنانینَ کھْرِیشْٹوتّھانے کَتھامِماں کَتھَیاماسَ یَتھا تَسْیاتْما پَرَلوکے نَ تْیَکْشْیَتے تَسْیَ شَرِیرَنْچَ نَ کْشیشْیَتِ؛ (Hadēs ) |
But Heaven must be his home, until the days of the Universal Restoration, of which God has spoken by the lips of his holy Prophets from the very first. (aiōn )
کِنْتُ جَگَتَح سرِشْٹِمارَبھْیَ اِیشْوَرو نِجَپَوِتْرَبھَوِشْیَدْوادِگَنونَ یَتھا کَتھِتَوانْ تَدَنُسارینَ سَرْوّیشاں کارْیّاناں سِدّھِپَرْیَّنْتَں تینَ سْوَرْگے واسَح کَرْتَّوْیَح۔ (aiōn ) |
Then Paul and Barnabas spoke out fearlessly, and said: “It was necessary that the Message of God should be told to you first; but, since you reject it and reckon yourselves not worthy of the Immortal Life — we turn to the Gentiles! (aiōnios )
تَتَح پَولَبَرْنَبّاوَکْشوبھَو کَتھِتَوَنْتَو پْرَتھَمَں یُشْماکَں سَنِّدھاوِیشْوَرِییَکَتھایاح پْرَچارَنَمْ اُچِتَماسِیتْ کِنْتُں تَدَگْراہْیَتْوَکَرَنینَ یُویَں سْوانْ اَنَنْتایُشویوگْیانْ دَرْشَیَتھَ، ایتَتْکارَنادْ وَیَمْ اَنْیَدیشِییَلوکاناں سَمِیپَں گَچّھامَح۔ (aiōnios ) |
On hearing this, the Gentiles were glad and extolled God’s Message; and all those who had been enrolled for Immortal Life became believers in Christ; (aiōnios )
تَدا کَتھامِیدرِشِیں شْرُتْوا بھِنَّدیشِییا آہْلادِتاح سَنْتَح پْرَبھوح کَتھاں دھَنْیاں دھَنْیامْ اَوَدَنْ، یاوَنْتو لوکاشْچَ پَرَمایُح پْراپْتِنِمِتَّں نِرُوپِتا آسَنْ تے وْیَشْوَسَنْ۔ (aiōnios ) |
Says the Lord, as he does these things, foreknown from of old.’ (aiōn )

For ever since the creation of the universe God’s invisible attributes — his everlasting power and divinity — are to be seen and studied in his works, so that men have no excuse; (aïdios )

in order than, just as Sin had reigned in the realm of Death, so, too, might Loving-kindness reign through righteousness, and result in Immortal Life, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. (aiōnios )
تینَ مرِتْیُنا یَدْوَتْ پاپَسْیَ راجَتْوَمْ اَبھَوَتْ تَدْوَدْ اَسْماکَں پْرَبھُیِیشُکھْرِیشْٹَدْوارانَنْتَجِیوَنَدایِپُنْیینانُگْرَہَسْیَ راجَتْوَں بھَوَتِ۔ (aiōnios ) |
But now that you have been set free from the control of Sin, and have become servants to God, the fruit that you reap is an ever-increasing holiness, and the end Immortal Life. (aiōnios )

‘or “Who will go down into the depths below?”’ — which means to bring Christ up from the dead. (Abyssos )

For God has given all alike over to disobedience, that to all alike he may show mercy. (eleēsē )

and, in obedience to the command of the Immortal God, made known through the writings of the Prophets to all nations, to secure submission to the Faith — (aiōnios )

to him, I say, the wise and only God, be ascribed, through Jesus Christ, all glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
سَرْوَّجْنَ اِیشْوَرَسْتَسْیَ دھَنْیَوادو یِیشُکھْرِیشْٹینَ سَنْتَتَں بھُویاتْ۔ اِتِ۔ (aiōn ) |
Where is the Philosopher? where the Teacher of the Law? where the Disputant of to-day? Has not God shown the world’s philosophy to be folly? (aiōn )
جْنانِی کُتْرَ؟ شاسْتْرِی وا کُتْرَ؟ اِہَلوکَسْیَ وِچارَتَتْپَرو وا کُتْرَ؟ اِہَلوکَسْیَ جْنانَں کِمِیشْوَرینَ موہِیکرِتَں نَہِ؟ (aiōn ) |
Yet there is a philosophy that we teach to those whose faith is matured, but it is not the philosophy of to-day, nor that of the leaders of to-day — men whose downfall is at hand. (aiōn )
وَیَں جْنانَں بھاشامَہے تَچَّ سِدّھَلوکَے رْجْنانَمِوَ مَنْیَتے، تَدِہَلوکَسْیَ جْنانَں نَہِ، اِہَلوکَسْیَ نَشْوَرانامْ اَدھِپَتِیناں وا جْنانَں نَہِ؛ (aiōn ) |
No, it is a divine philosophy that we teach, one concerned with the hidden purpose of God — that long-hidden philosophy which God, before time began, destined for our glory. (aiōn )
کِنْتُ کالاوَسْتھایاح پُورْوَّسْمادْ یَتْ جْنانَمْ اَسْماکَں وِبھَوارْتھَمْ اِیشْوَرینَ نِشْچِتْیَ پْرَچّھَنَّں تَنِّگُوڈھَمْ اِیشْوَرِییَجْنانَں پْرَبھاشامَہے۔ (aiōn ) |
This philosophy is not known to any of the leaders of to-day; for, had they known it, they would not have crucified our glorified Lord. (aiōn )
اِہَلوکَسْیادھِپَتِیناں کیناپِ تَتْ جْنانَں نَ لَبْدھَں، لَبْدھے سَتِ تے پْرَبھاوَوِشِشْٹَں پْرَبھُں کْرُشے ناہَنِشْیَنْ۔ (aiōn ) |
Let no one deceive himself. If any one among you imagines that, as regards this world, he is a wise man, let him become a ‘fool,’ that he may become wise. (aiōn )
کوپِ سْوَں نَ وَنْچَیَتاں۔ یُشْماکَں کَشْچَنَ چیدِہَلوکَسْیَ جْنانینَ جْنانَوانَہَمِتِ بُدھْیَتے تَرْہِ سَ یَتْ جْنانِی بھَویتْ تَدَرْتھَں مُوڈھو بھَوَتُ۔ (aiōn ) |
Therefore, if what I eat makes my Brother fall, rather than make my Brother fall, I will never eat meat again. (aiōn )
اَتو ہیتوح پِشِتاشَنَں یَدِ مَمَ بھْراتُ رْوِگھْنَسْوَرُوپَں بھَویتْ تَرْہْیَہَں یَتْ سْوَبھْراتُ رْوِگھْنَجَنَکو نَ بھَوییَں تَدَرْتھَں یاوَجِّیوَنَں پِشِتَں نَ بھوکْشْیے۔ (aiōn ) |
These things happened to them by way of warning, and were recorded to serve as a caution to us, in whose days the close of the ages has come. (aiōn )
تانْ پْرَتِ یانْییتانِ جَگھَٹِرے تانْیَسْماکَں نِدَرْشَنانِ جَگَتَح شیشَیُگے وَرْتَّمانانامْ اَسْماکَں شِکْشارْتھَں لِکھِتانِ چَ بَبھُووُح۔ (aiōn ) |
‘Death has been swallowed up in victory! Where, O Death, is thy victory? Where, O Death, is thy sting?’ (Hadēs )

Men whose minds have been blinded by the God of this Age, unbelievers as they are, so that the light from the Good News of the glory of the Christ, who is the very incarnation of God, should not shine for them. (aiōn )
یَتَ اِیشْوَرَسْیَ پْرَتِمُورْتِّ رْیَح کھْرِیشْٹَسْتَسْیَ تیجَسَح سُسَںوادَسْیَ پْرَبھا یَتْ تانْ نَ دِیپَییتْ تَدَرْتھَمْ اِہَ لوکَسْیَ دیوووِشْواسِناں جْنانَنَیَنَمْ اَنْدھِیکرِتَوانْ ایتَسْیوداہَرَنَں تے بھَوَنْتِ۔ (aiōn ) |
The light burden of our momentary trouble is preparing for us, in measure transcending thought, a weight of imperishable glory; (aiōnios )
کْشَنَماتْرَسْتھایِ یَدیتَتْ لَگھِشْٹھَں دُحکھَں تَدْ اَتِباہُلْییناسْماکَمْ اَنَنْتَکالَسْتھایِ گَرِشْٹھَسُکھَں سادھَیَتِ، (aiōnios ) |
we, all the while, gazing not on what is seen, but on what is unseen; for what is seen is transient, but what is unseen is imperishable. (aiōnios )
یَتو وَیَں پْرَتْیَکْشانْ وِشَیانْ اَنُدِّشْیاپْرَتْیَکْشانْ اُدِّشامَح۔ یَتو ہیتوح پْرَتْیَکْشَوِشَیاح کْشَنَماتْرَسْتھایِنَح کِنْتْوَپْرَتْیَکْشا اَنَنْتَکالَسْتھایِنَح۔ (aiōnios ) |
For we know that if our tent — that earthly body which is now our home — is taken down, we have a house of God’s building, a home not made by hands, imperishable, in Heaven. (aiōnios )

یَسْمادْ یُویَں کْشَیَنِییَوِیرْیّاتْ نَہِ کِنْتْوَکْشَیَنِییَوِیرْیّادْ اِیشْوَرَسْیَ جِیوَنَدایَکینَ نِتْیَسْتھایِنا واکْیینَ پُنَرْجَنْمَ گرِہِیتَوَنْتَح۔ (aiōn ) |
but the teaching of the Lord remains for ever.’ And that is the Teaching of the Good News which has been told to you. (aiōn )
کِنْتُ واکْیَں پَریشَسْیانَنْتَکالَں وِتِشْٹھَتے۔ تَدیوَ چَ واکْیَں سُسَںوادینَ یُشْماکَمْ اَنْتِکے پْرَکاشِتَں۔ (aiōn ) |
When any one speaks, let him speak as one who is delivering the oracles of God. When any one is endeavouring to serve others, let him do so in reliance on the strength which God supplies; so that in everything God may be honour ed through Jesus Christ — to whom be ascribed all honour and might for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
یو واکْیَں کَتھَیَتِ سَ اِیشْوَرَسْیَ واکْیَمِوَ کَتھَیَتُ یَشْچَ پَرَمْ اُپَکَروتِ سَ اِیشْوَرَدَتَّسامَرْتھْیادِووپَکَروتُ۔ سَرْوَّوِشَیے یِیشُکھْرِیشْٹینیشْوَرَسْیَ گَورَوَں پْرَکاشْیَتاں تَسْیَیوَ گَورَوَں پَراکْرَمَشْچَ سَرْوَّدا بھُویاتْ۔ آمینَ۔ (aiōn ) |
God, from whom all help comes, and who called you, by your union with Christ, into his eternal glory, will, when you have suffered for a little while, himself perfect, establish, strengthen you. (aiōnios )
کْشَنِکَدُحکھَبھوگاتْ پَرَمْ اَسْمَبھْیَں کھْرِیشْٹینَ یِیشُنا سْوَکِییانَنْتَگَورَوَدانارْتھَں یوسْمانْ آہُوتَوانْ سَ سَرْوّانُگْراہِیشْوَرَح سْوَیَں یُشْمانْ سِدّھانْ سْتھِرانْ سَبَلانْ نِشْچَلاںشْچَ کَروتُ۔ (aiōnios ) |
To him be ascribed dominion for ever. Amen. (aiōn )
تَسْیَ گَورَوَں پَراکْرَمَشْچانَنْتَکالَں یاوَدْ بھُویاتْ۔ آمینْ۔ (aiōn ) |
For thus you will be given a triumphant admission into the eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. (aiōnios )
یَتو نینَ پْرَکاریناسْماکَں پْرَبھوسْتْراترِ رْیِیشُکھْرِیشْٹَسْیانَنْتَراجْیَسْیَ پْرَویشینَ یُویَں سُکَلینَ یوجَیِشْیَدھْوے۔ (aiōnios ) |
Remember, God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them down to Tartarus, and committed them to caverns of darkness, to be kept under guard for judgment. (Tartaroō )
اِیشْوَرَح کرِتَپاپانْ دُوتانْ نَ کْشَمِتْوا تِمِرَشرِنْکھَلَیح پاتالے رُدّھوا وِچارارْتھَں سَمَرْپِتَوانْ۔ (Tartaroō ) |
and advance in the love and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. All glory be to him now and for ever. (aiōn )
کِنْتْوَسْماکَں پْرَبھوسْتْراتُ رْیِیشُکھْرِیشْٹَسْیانُگْرَہے جْنانے چَ وَرْدّھَدھْوَں۔ تَسْیَ گَورَوَمْ اِدانِیں سَداکالَنْچَ بھُویاتْ۔ آمینْ۔ (aiōn ) |
That Life was made visible, and we have seen it, and now bear our testimony to it, and tell you of that Immortal Life, which was with the Father and was made visible to us. (aiōnios )
سَ جِیوَنَسْوَرُوپَح پْرَکاشَتَ وَیَنْچَ تَں درِشْٹَوَنْتَسْتَمَدھِ ساکْشْیَں دَدْمَشْچَ، یَشْچَ پِتُح سَنِّدھاوَوَرْتَّتاسْماکَں سَمِیپے پْرَکاشَتَ چَ تَمْ اَنَنْتَجِیوَنَسْوَرُوپَں وَیَں یُشْمانْ جْناپَیامَح۔ (aiōnios ) |
And the world, and all that it gratifies, is passing away, but he who does God’s will remains for ever. (aiōn )
سَںسارَسْتَدِییابھِلاشَشْچَ وْیَتْییتِ کِنْتُ یَ اِیشْوَرَسْییشْٹَں کَروتِ سو نَنْتَکالَں یاوَتْ تِشْٹھَتِ۔ (aiōn ) |
And this is what he himself promised us — The Immortal Life! (aiōnios )
سَ چَ پْرَتِجْنَیاسْمَبھْیَں یَتْ پْرَتِجْناتَوانْ تَدْ اَنَنْتَجِیوَنَں۔ (aiōnios ) |
Every one who hates his Brother is a murderer; and you know that no murderer has Immortal Life within him. (aiōnios )
یَح کَشْچِتْ سْوَبھْراتَرَں دْویشْٹِ سَں نَرَگھاتِی کِنْچانَنْتَجِیوَنَں نَرَگھاتِنَح کَسْیاپْیَنْتَرے ناوَتِشْٹھَتے تَدْ یُویَں جانِیتھَ۔ (aiōnios ) |
And that testimony is that God gave us Immortal Life, and that this Life is in his Son. (aiōnios )
تَچَّ ساکْشْیَمِدَں یَدْ اِیشْوَرو سْمَبھْیَمْ اَنَنْتَجِیوَنَں دَتَّوانْ تَچَّ جِیوَنَں تَسْیَ پُتْرے وِدْیَتے۔ (aiōnios ) |
I write this to you, that you may realise that you have found Immortal Life — you who believe in the Name of the Son of God. (aiōnios )
اِیشْوَرَپُتْرَسْیَ نامْنِ یُشْمانْ پْرَتْییتانِ مَیا لِکھِتانِ تَسْیابھِپْرایو یَں یَدْ یُویَمْ اَنَنْتَجِیوَنَپْراپْتا اِتِ جانِییاتَ تَسْییشْوَرَپُتْرَسْیَ نامْنِ وِشْوَسیتَ چَ۔ (aiōnios ) |
We realise, too, that the Son of God has come among us, and has given us the discernment to know the True God; and we are in union with the True God by our union with his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the True God and he is Immortal Life. (aiōnios )
اَپَرَمْ اِیشْوَرَسْیَ پُتْرَ آگَتَوانْ وَیَنْچَ یَیا تَسْیَ سَتْیَمَیَسْیَ جْنانَں پْراپْنُیامَسْتادرِشِیں دھِیَمْ اَسْمَبھْیَں دَتَّوانْ اِتِ جانِیمَسْتَسْمِنْ سَتْیَمَیے رْتھَتَسْتَسْیَ پُتْرے یِیشُکھْرِیشْٹے تِشْٹھامَشْچَ؛ سَ ایوَ سَتْیَمَیَ اِیشْوَرو نَنْتَجِیوَنَسْوَرُوپَشْچاسْتِ۔ (aiōnios ) |
We love you for the sake of that Truth which is always in our hearts; yes, and it will be ours for ever. (aiōn )
سَتْیَمَتادْ یُشْماسُ مَمَ پْریماسْتِ کیوَلَں مَمَ نَہِ کِنْتُ سَتْیَمَتَجْناناں سَرْوّیشامیوَ۔ یَتَح سَتْیَمَتَمْ اَسْماسُ تِشْٹھَتْیَنَنْتَکالَں یاوَچّاسْماسُ سْتھاسْیَتِ۔ (aiōn ) |
and that even those angels, who did not keep to their appointed spheres, but left their proper homes, have been kept by him for the judgment of the Great Day in everlasting chains and black darkness. (aïdios )
یے چَ سْوَرْگَدُوتاح سْوِییَکَرْترِتْوَپَدے نَ سْتھِتْوا سْوَواسَسْتھانَں پَرِتْیَکْتَوَنْتَسْتانْ سَ مَہادِنَسْیَ وِچارارْتھَمْ اَنْدھَکارَمَیے دھَحسْتھانے سَداسْتھایِبھِ رْبَنْدھَنَیرَبَدھْناتْ۔ (aïdios ) |
Like Sodom and Gomorrah and the towns near them, which gave themselves up to fornication, and fell into unnatural vice, these angels now stand out as a warning, undergoing, as they are, the punishment of aeonian fire. (aiōnios )
اَپَرَں سِدومَمْ اَمورا تَنِّکَٹَسْتھَنَگَرانِ چَیتیشاں نِواسِنَسْتَتْسَمَرُوپَں وْیَبھِچارَں کرِتَوَنْتو وِشَمَمَیتھُنَسْیَ چیشْٹَیا وِپَتھَں گَتَوَنْتَشْچَ تَسْماتْ تانْیَپِ درِشْٹانْتَسْوَرُوپانِ بھُوتْوا سَداتَنَوَہْنِنا دَنْڈَں بھُنْجَتے۔ (aiōnios ) |
they are wild sea waves, foaming with their own shame; they are ‘wandering stars,’ for which the blackest darkness has been reserved for ever. (aiōn )
سْوَکِییَلَجّاپھینودْوَمَکاح پْرَچَنْڈاح سامُدْرَتَرَنْگاح سَداکالَں یاوَتْ گھورَتِمِرَبھاگِینِ بھْرَمَنَکارِینِ نَکْشَتْرانِ چَ بھَوَنْتِ۔ (aiōn ) |
and keep within the love of God, while waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, to bring you to Immortal Life. (aiōnios )
اِیشْوَرَسْیَ پْریمْنا سْوانْ رَکْشَتَ، اَنَنْتَجِیوَنایَ چاسْماکَں پْرَبھو رْیِیشُکھْرِیشْٹَسْیَ کرِپاں پْرَتِیکْشَدھْوَں۔ (aiōnios ) |
to the one God, our Saviour, be ascribed, through Jesus Christ, our Lord, glory, majesty, power, and dominion, as it was before time began, is now, and shall be for all time to come. Amen. (aiōn )
یو سْماکَمْ اَدْوِتِییَسْتْرانَکَرْتّا سَرْوَّجْنَ اِیشْوَرَسْتَسْیَ گَورَوَں مَہِما پَراکْرَمَح کَرْترِتْوَنْچیدانِیمْ اَنَنْتَکالَں یاوَدْ بھُویاتْ۔ آمینْ۔ (aiōn ) |
and he made us ‘a Kingdom of Priests in the service of God,’ his Father! — to Him be ascribed glory and dominion for ever. Amen. (aiōn )
یو سْماسُ پْرِیتَوانْ سْوَرُدھِریناسْمانْ سْوَپاپیبھْیَح پْرَکْشالِتَوانْ تَسْیَ پِتُرِیشْوَرَسْیَ یاجَکانْ کرِتْواسْمانْ راجَوَرْگے نِیُکْتَواںشْچَ تَسْمِنْ مَہِما پَراکْرَمَشْچانَنْتَکالَں یاوَدْ وَرْتَّتاں۔ آمینْ۔ (aiōn ) |
the Everliving. I died, and I am alive for ever and ever. And I hold the keys of the Grave and of the Place of the Dead. (aiōn , Hadēs )
اَہَمْ اَمَرَسْتَتھاپِ مرِتَوانْ کِنْتُ پَشْیاہَمْ اَنَنْتَکالَں یاوَتْ جِیوامِ۔ آمینْ۔ مرِتْیوح پَرَلوکَسْیَ چَ کُنْجِکا مَمَ ہَسْتَگَتاح۔ (aiōn , Hadēs ) |
And, whenever these Creatures give praise and honour and thanks to him who is ‘seated on the throne, to him who lives for ever and ever,’ (aiōn )
اِتّھَں تَیح پْرانِبھِسْتَسْیانَنْتَجِیوِنَح سِںہاسَنوپَوِشْٹَسْیَ جَنَسْیَ پْرَبھاوے گَورَوے دھَنْیَوادے چَ پْرَکِیرْتِّتی (aiōn ) |
the twenty-four Councillors prostrate themselves before him who is seated on the throne, and worship him who lives for ever and ever, and throw down their crowns before the throne, saying — (aiōn )
تے چَتُرْوِںشَتِپْراچِینا اَپِ تَسْیَ سِںہاسَنوپَوِشْٹَسْیانْتِکے پْرَنِنَتْیَ تَمْ اَنَنْتَجِیوِنَں پْرَنَمَنْتِ سْوِییَکِرِیٹاںشْچَ سِںہاسَنَسْیانْتِکے نِکْشِپْیَ وَدَنْتِ، (aiōn ) |
And I heard every created thing in the air, and on the earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and all that is in them crying — ‘To him who is seated on the throne and to the Lamb be ascribed all blessing, and honour, and praise, and dominion for ever and ever.’ (aiōn )
اَپَرَں سْوَرْگَمَرْتّیَپاتالَساگَریشُ یانِ وِدْیَنْتے تیشاں سَرْوّیشاں سرِشْٹَوَسْتُوناں واگِیَں مَیا شْرُتا، پْرَشَںساں گَورَوَں شَورْیَّمْ آدھِپَتْیَں سَناتَنَں۔ سِںہَسَنوپَوِشْٹَشْچَ میشَوَتْسَشْچَ گَچّھَتاں۔ (aiōn ) |
And in my vision I saw a grey horse. His rider’s name was Death, and the Lord of the Place of Death rode behind him; and power was given them over the fourth part of the earth, so that they might ‘destroy with sword and famine and death, and by means of the wild beasts of the earth.’ (Hadēs )
تَتَح پانْڈُرَوَرْنَ ایکو شْوو مَیا درِشْٹَح، تَداروہِنو نامَ مرِتْیُرِتِ پَرَلوکَشْچَ تَمْ اَنُچَرَتِ کھَنْگینَ دُرْبھِکْشینَ مَہامارْیّا وَنْیَپَشُبھِشْچَ لوکاناں بَدھایَ پرِتھِوْیاشْچَتُرْتھاںشَسْیادھِپَتْیَں تَسْما اَدایِ۔ (Hadēs ) |
saying — ‘Amen. Blessing and praise, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might be ascribed to our God for ever and ever. Amen.’ (aiōn )
تَتھاسْتُ دھَنْیَوادَشْچَ تیجو جْنانَں پْرَشَںسَنَں۔ شَورْیَّں پَراکْرَمَشْچاپِ شَکْتِشْچَ سَرْوَّمیوَ تَتْ۔ وَرْتَّتامِیشْوَرےسْماکَں نِتْیَں نِتْیَں تَتھاسْتْوِتِ۔ (aiōn ) |
Then the fifth angel blew; and I saw a Star that had fallen upon the earth from the heavens, and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. (Abyssos )
تَتَح پَرَں سَپْتَمَدُوتینَ تُورْیّاں وادِتایاں گَگَناتْ پرِتھِوْیاں نِپَتِتَ ایکَسْتارَکو مَیا درِشْٹَح، تَسْمَے رَساتَلَکُوپَسْیَ کُنْجِکادایِ۔ (Abyssos ) |
He opened the bottomless pit, and from the pit rose a smoke like the smoke of a great furnace. The sun and the air grew dark because of the smoke from the pit. (Abyssos )
تینَ رَساتَلَکُوپے مُکْتے مَہاگْنِکُنْڈَسْیَ دھُومَ اِوَ دھُومَسْتَسْماتْ کُوپادْ اُدْگَتَح۔ تَسْماتْ کُوپَدھُوماتْ سُورْیّاکاشَو تِمِراورِتَو۔ (Abyssos ) |
They have as their king the Angel of the bottomless pit, whose name, in Hebrew, is ‘Abaddon,’ while, in Greek, his name is ‘Apollyon’ (the Destroyer). (Abyssos )
تیشاں راجا چَ رَساتَلَسْیَ دُوتَسْتَسْیَ نامَ اِبْرِییَبھاشَیا اَبَدّونْ یُونانِییَبھاشَیا چَ اَپَلُّیونْ اَرْتھَتو وِناشَکَ اِتِ۔ (Abyssos ) |
and swore by him who lives for ever and ever, who created the heavens and all that is in them, and the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all that is in it,’ that time should cease to be. (aiōn )
اَپَرَں سْوَرْگادْ یَسْیَ رَوو مَیاشْراوِ سَ پُنَ رْماں سَمْبھاوْیاوَدَتْ تْوَں گَتْوا سَمُدْرَمیدِنْیوسْتِشْٹھَتو دُوتَسْیَ کَراتْ تَں وِسْتِیرْنَ کْشُدْرَگْرَنْتھَں گرِہانَ، تینَ مَیا دُوتَسَمِیپَں گَتْوا کَتھِتَں گْرَنْتھو سَو دِییَتاں۔ (aiōn ) |
As soon as they have completed their testimony, ‘the wild Beast that ascends from the bottomless pit will make war upon them and conquer’ and kill them. (Abyssos )
اَپَرَں تَیوح ساکْشْیے سَماپْتے سَتِ رَساتَلادْ یینوتّھِتَوْیَں سَ پَشُسْتابھْیاں سَہَ یُدّھوا تَو جیشْیَتِ ہَنِشْیَتِ چَ۔ (Abyssos ) |
Then the seventh angel blew; and loud voices were heard in Heaven saying — ‘The Kingdom of the World has become the Kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever.’ (aiōn )
اَنَنْتَرَں سَپْتَدُوتینَ تُورْیّاں وادِتایاں سْوَرْگَ اُچَّیح سْوَرَیرْواگِیَں کِیرْتِّتا، راجَتْوَں جَگَتو یَدْیَدْ راجْیَں تَدَدھُنابھَوَتْ۔ اَسْمَتْپْرَبھوسْتَدِییابھِشِکْتَسْیَ تارَکَسْیَ چَ۔ تینَ چانَنْتَکالِییَں راجَتْوَں پْرَکَرِشْیَتے۔۔ (aiōn ) |
Then I saw another angel, flying in mid-heaven. He had the Good News, decreed from eternity, to announce to those who dwell on the earth — to men of every nation, and tribe, and language, and people; (aiōnios )
اَنَنْتَرَمْ آکاشَمَدھْیینوڈِّییَمانو پَرَ ایکو دُوتو مَیا درِشْٹَح سو نَنْتَکالِییَں سُسَںوادَں دھارَیَتِ سَ چَ سُسَںوادَح سَرْوَّجاتِییانْ سَرْوَّوَںشِییانْ سَرْوَّبھاشاوادِنَح سَرْوَّدیشِییاںشْچَ پرِتھِوِینِواسِنَح پْرَتِ تینَ گھوشِتَوْیَح۔ (aiōnios ) |
The smoke from their torture rises for ever and ever, and they have no rest day nor night — those who worship the Beast and its image, and all who are branded with its name.’ (aiōn )
تیشاں یاتَنایا دھُومو نَنْتَکالَں یاوَدْ اُدْگَمِشْیَتِ یے چَ پَشُں تَسْیَ پْرَتِمانْچَ پُوجَیَنْتِ تَسْیَ نامْنو نْکَں وا گرِہْلَنْتِ تے دِوانِشَں کَنْچَنَ وِرامَں نَ پْراپْسْیَنْتِ۔ (aiōn ) |
One of the four Creatures gave the seven angels seven golden bowls, filled with the Wrath of God who lives for ever and ever. (aiōn )
اَپَرَں چَتُرْناں پْرانِنامْ ایکَسْتیبھْیَح سَپْتَدُوتیبھْیَح سَپْتَسُوَرْنَکَںسانْ اَدَداتْ۔ (aiōn ) |
The Beast that you saw was, but is not, and is about to rise out of the bottomless pit, and is on its way to destruction. Those who are living on earth will be amazed — those whose names have not been written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world — when they see that the Beast was, but is not, and yet will come.’ (Abyssos )
تْوَیا درِشْٹو سَو پَشُراسِیتْ نیدانِیں وَرْتَّتے کِنْتُ رَساتَلاتْ تینودیتَوْیَں وِناشَشْچَ گَنْتَوْیَح۔ تَتو ییشاں نامانِ جَگَتَح سرِشْٹِکالَمْ آرَبھْیَ جِیوَنَپُسْتَکے لِکھِتانِ نَ وِدْیَنْتے تے پرِتھِوِینِواسِنو بھُوتَمْ اَوَرْتَّمانَمُپَسْتھاسْیَنْتَنْچَ تَں پَشُں درِشْٹْواشْچَرْیَّں مَںسْیَنْتے۔ (Abyssos ) |
Again they cried — ‘Hallelujah!’ And the smoke from her ruins rises for ever and ever. (aiōn )
پُنَرَپِ تَیرِدَمُکْتَں یَتھا، بْرُوتَ پَریشْوَرَں دھَنْیَں یَنِّتْیَں نِتْیَمیوَ چَ۔ تَسْیا داہَسْیَ دھُومو سَو دِشَمُورْدّھوَمُدیشْیَتِ۔۔ (aiōn ) |
The Beast was captured, and with him was taken the false Prophet, who performed the marvels before the eyes of the Beast, with which he deceived those who had received the brand of the Beast and those who worshiped his image. Alive, they were thrown, both of them, into the fiery lake ‘of burning sulphur.’ (Limnē Pyr )
تَتَح سَ پَشُ رْدھرِتو یَشْچَ مِتھْیابھَوِشْیَدْوَکْتا تَسْیانْتِکے چِتْرَکَرْمّانِ کُرْوَّنْ تَیریوَ پَشْوَنْکَدھارِنَسْتَتْپْرَتِماپُوجَکاںشْچَ بھْرَمِتَوانْ سو پِ تینَ سارْدّھَں دھرِتَح۔ تَو چَ وَہْنِگَنْدھَکَجْوَلِتَہْرَدے جِیوَنْتَو نِکْشِپْتَو۔ (Limnē Pyr ) |
Then I saw an angel coming down from Heaven, with the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. (Abyssos )
تَتَح پَرَں سْوَرْگادْ اَوَروہَنْ ایکو دُوتو مَیا درِشْٹَسْتَسْیَ کَرے رَماتَلَسْیَ کُنْجِکا مَہاشرِنْکھَلَنْچَیکَں تِشْٹھَتَح۔ (Abyssos ) |
He flung him into the bottomless pit and locked it, and set his seal upon it; that he should not deceive the nations any more, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be let loose for a while. (Abyssos )
اَپَرَں رَساتَلے تَں نِکْشِپْیَ تَدُپَرِ دْوارَں رُدّھوا مُدْرانْکِتَوانْ یَسْماتْ تَدْ وَرْشَسَہَسْرَں یاوَتْ سَمْپُورْنَں نَ بھَویتْ تاوَدْ بھِنَّجاتِییاسْتینَ پُنَ رْنَ بھْرَمِتَوْیاح۔ تَتَح پَرَمْ اَلْپَکالارْتھَں تَسْیَ موچَنینَ بھَوِتَوْیَں۔ (Abyssos ) |
and the Devil, their deceiver, was hurled into the lake of fire and sulphur, where the Beast and the false Prophet already were, and they will be tortured day and night for ever and ever. (aiōn , Limnē Pyr )
تیشاں بھْرَمَیِتا چَ شَیَتانو وَہْنِگَنْدھَکَیو رْہْرَدے رْتھَتَح پَشُ رْمِتھْیابھَوِشْیَدْوادِی چَ یَتْرَ تِشْٹھَتَسْتَتْرَیوَ نِکْشِپْتَح، تَتْرانَنْتَکالَں یاوَتْ تے دِوانِشَں یاتَناں بھوکْشْیَنْتے۔ (aiōn , Limnē Pyr ) |
The sea gave up its dead, and Death and the Lord of the Place of Death gave up their dead; and they were judged, one by one, each according to his actions. (Hadēs )
تَدانِیں سَمُدْرینَ سْوانْتَرَسْتھا مرِتَجَناح سَمَرْپِتاح، مرِتْیُپَرَلوکابھْیامَپِ سْوانْتَرَسْتھا مرِتَجَناح سَرْمِپَتاح، تیشانْچَیکَیکَسْیَ سْوَکْرِیانُیایِی وِچارَح کرِتَح۔ (Hadēs ) |
Then Death and the Lord of the Place of Death were hurled into the lake of fire. This is the Second Death — the lake of fire; (Hadēs , Limnē Pyr )
اَپَرَں مرِتْیُپَرَلوکَو وَہْنِہْرَدے نِکْشِپْتَو، ایشَ ایوَ دْوِتِییو مرِتْیُح۔ (Hadēs , Limnē Pyr ) |
and all whose names ‘were not found written in the Book of Life’ were hurled into the lake of fire. (Limnē Pyr )
یَسْیَ کَسْیَچِتْ نامَ جِیوَنَپُسْتَکے لِکھِتَں ناوِدْیَتَ سَ ایوَ تَسْمِنْ وَہْنِہْرَدے نْیَکْشِپْیَتَ۔ (Limnē Pyr ) |
But as for cowards, unbelievers, the degraded, murderers, the impure, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars — their place will be in the burning lake of fire and sulphur. That is the Second Death.’ (Limnē Pyr )
کِنْتُ بھِیتانامْ اَوِشْواسِناں گھرِنْیاناں نَرَہَنْترِناں ویشْیاگامِناں موہَکاناں دیوَپُوجَکاناں سَرْوّیشامْ اَنرِتَوادِنانْچاںشو وَہْنِگَنْدھَکَجْوَلِتَہْرَدے بھَوِشْیَتِ، ایشَ ایوَ دْوِتِییو مرِتْیُح۔ (Limnē Pyr ) |
Night will cease to be. They have no need of the light of a lamp, nor have they the light of the sun; for the ‘Lord God will be their light, and they will reign for ever and ever.’ (aiōn )
تَدانِیں راتْرِح پُنَ رْنَ بھَوِشْیَتِ یَتَح پْرَبھُح پَرَمیشْوَرَسْتانْ دِیپَیِشْیَتِ تے چانَنْتَکالَں یاوَدْ راجَتْوَں کَرِشْیَنْتے۔ (aiōn ) |
