This philosophy is not known to any of the leaders of to-day; for, had they known it, they would not have crucified our glorified Lord. (aiōn g165)
Of which not one of the rulers of this world had knowledge: for if they had, they would not have put the Lord of glory on the cross: (aiōn g165)
Let no one deceive himself. If any one among you imagines that, as regards this world, he is a wise man, let him become a ‘fool,’ that he may become wise. (aiōn g165)
Let no man have a false idea. If any man seems to himself to be wise among you, let him become foolish, so that he may be wise. (aiōn g165)
Therefore, if what I eat makes my Brother fall, rather than make my Brother fall, I will never eat meat again. (aiōn g165)

teaching concerning baptisms and the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead and a final judgment. (aiōnios g166)
The teaching of baptisms, and of the putting on of hands, and of the future life of the dead, and of the judging on the last day. (aiōnios g166)
and learned to appreciate the beauty of the Divine Message, and the new powers of the Coming Age — (aiōn g165)
With knowledge of the good word of God, and of the powers of the coming time, (aiōn g165)
where Jesus, our Forerunner, has entered on our behalf, after being made for all time a High Priest of the order of Melchizedek. (aiōn g165)
Where Jesus has gone before us, as a high priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. (aiōn g165)
for that is the meaning of the declaration — ‘Thou art for all time a priest of the order of Melchizedek.’ (aiōn g165)
For it has been witnessed of him, You are a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. (aiōn g165)
but his appointment was ratified by an oath, when God said to him — ‘The Lord has sworn, and will not change, “Thou art a priest for all time.”’ (aiōn g165)
(For those were made priests without an oath, but this one was made a priest with an oath by him who says of him, The Lord gave his oath, which he will not take back, that you are a priest for ever); (aiōn g165)
but Jesus remains for all time, and therefore the priesthood that he holds is never liable to pass to another. (aiōn g165)
But this priest, because his life goes on for ever, is unchanging. (aiōn g165)
The Law appoints as High Priests men who are liable to infirmity, but the words of God’s oath, which was later than the Law, name the Son as, for all time, the perfect Priest. (aiōn g165)
The law makes high priests of men who are feeble; but the word of the oath, which was made after the law, gives that position to a Son, in whom all good is for ever complete. (aiōn g165)
Nor was it with the blood of goats and calves, but with his own blood, that he entered, once and for all, into the Sanctuary, and obtained our eternal deliverance. (aiōnios g166)
And has gone once and for ever into the holy place, having got eternal salvation, not through the blood of goats and young oxen, but through his blood. (aiōnios g166)
how much more will the blood of the Christ, who, through his eternal Spirit, offered himself up to God, as a victim without blemish, purify our consciences from a lifeless formality, and fit us for the service of the Living God! (aiōnios g166)
