Matthew 15
1 Then some Pharisees and Teachers of the Law came to Jesus, and said:
ଦିନେକ୍ କେତେ ଜାଣ୍ ପାରୁସିର୍ ଆରି ଦରମ୍ ଗୁରୁର୍ ଜିରୁସାଲମ୍ତାଂ ୱାଜ଼ି ଜିସୁଙ୍ଗ୍ ୱେନ୍ବାତାର୍,
2 “How is it that your disciples break the traditions of our ancestors? For they do not wash their hands when they eat food.”
“ମା ଆଗେ ପ୍ରାଚିନାର୍ ରିତି ନିତି ହିଜ଼ି ହାଚାର୍ଣ୍ଣା, ମି ଚେଲାର୍ ଇନେକିଦେଂ ହେ ୱିଜ଼ୁ ଉଡ଼ା ଆନାରା? ତିନି ଆଗେ ହେୱାର୍ ରିତିତ ଇନେକିଦେଂ ହାର୍ କିଜ଼ି କେଇ ନୁଜ଼ୁରା ।”
3 His reply was: “How is it that you on your side break God’s commandments out of respect for your own traditions?
ଜିସୁ ହେୱାରିଂ ଉତର୍ ହିତାନ୍, “ଏପେଙ୍ଗ୍ ପା ମି ରିତି ନିତି କାଜିଂ ଇନେକିଦେଂ ଇସ୍ୱର୍ତି ବଲ୍ ଉଡ଼ା ଆନାଦେରା?
4 For God said — ‘Honour thy father and mother,’ and ‘Let him who reviles his father or mother suffer death,’
ଇସ୍ୱର୍ତି ବଲ୍ କିତାନ୍ନ୍ନା, ଆବାଂ ଆୟାଙ୍ଗ୍ ୱାରି କିୟାଟ୍ । ଆରେ ଇନେର୍ ତା ଆବା କି ଆୟାଂ ସାଇପ୍ ହିନାନ୍, ହେୱାନ୍ ହାକି ଡାଣ୍ଡ୍ ପାୟା ଆନାନ୍ ।”
5 but you say ‘Whenever any one says to his father or mother “Whatever of mine might have been of service to you is ‘Given to God,’”
“ମାତର୍ ଏପେଙ୍ଗ୍ ଇନାଦେରା ହିକ୍ୟା ହିନାଦେରା ଜେ ରୱାନ୍ ମାନାୟ୍ ଇମ୍ଣି ଅରତ୍ ଲାହାଙ୍ଗ୍ ଜାର୍ ଆବାଂ କି ଆୟାଙ୍ଗ୍ ସାଇଜ କିଦେଙ୍ଗ୍ ଆଡ଼୍ତାନ୍ମା ହେଦାଂ ଇସ୍ୱର୍ତିଂ ଦାନ୍ କିତାନ୍ନ୍ନା ଇଞ୍ଜି ୱେଚ୍ଚାର୍,
6 he is in no way bound to honour his father.’ In this way you have nullified the words of God on account of your traditions.
ହେୱାନ୍ ଆରେ ତା ଆବା ଆୟାଂ ହାତେନେ ଜତନ୍ କିଉନ୍ । ଇ ଲାକେ ଏପେଙ୍ଗ୍ ମିଦାଂ ବଲ୍ମନ୍ଦ୍ ରିତିନିତି କାଜିଂ ଇସ୍ୱର୍ତି ବଚନ୍ ବେକାର୍ କିନାଦେରା ।
7 Hypocrites! It was well said by Isaiah when he prophesied about you —
ଆଡ଼େ କାପ୍ଟିୟାର୍, ଜିସାୟ୍ ମି ବିସ୍ରେ ସମାନ୍ ବାବ୍ରେ ବେରଣ୍ ୱେଚ୍ଚାତାନ୍ନା!”
8 ‘This is a people that honour me with their lips, While their hearts are far removed from me;
“ଇସ୍ୱର୍ ଇଞ୍ଜ୍ନାନା, ଇ ଜାତି ମୁମ୍ଦ ମାଙ୍ଗେଙ୍ଗ୍ ୱାରି କିଦ୍ନାର୍, ମାତର୍ ହେୱାର୍ ମାନ୍ ମା ତାଙ୍ଗ୍ ଦେହା ମାନାତ୍ ।
9 but vainly do they worship me, For they teach but the precepts of men.’”
ନାଙ୍ଗ୍ ହେୱାର୍ ପାର୍ତାନା କିଦେଙ୍ଗ୍ ପଲ୍ୟା, ଇନାକିଦେଂକି ହେୱାର୍ ମାନାୟାର୍ତି ବିଦିଙ୍ଗ୍ ଦରମ୍ ବେରଣ୍ ଇଞ୍ଜି ହିକ୍ୟା ହିନାନ୍ ପଲ୍ୟା ମା ପାର୍ତାନା କିନାର୍ ।”
10 Then Jesus called the people to him, and said: “Listen, and mark my words.
ତା ପାଚେ ଜିସୁ ମାନାୟ୍ତିଂ କଚଣ୍ତ କୁକ୍ଚି ଇଚାନ୍, “ମାନ୍ ହିଜ଼ି ୱେନାଟ୍ ଆରି ବୁଜାଆଦେଂ ସେସ୍ଟା କିୟାଟ୍;
11 It is not what enters a man’s mouth that ‘defiles’ him, but what comes out from his mouth — that does defile him!”
ମାନାୟ୍ ତାଙ୍ଗ୍ ୱେୟ୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ହାନାତ୍, ହେଦାଂ ତାଙ୍ଗ୍ ବିଟାଡ଼୍ କିଉତ୍; ମାତର୍ ଇନାକା ବିତ୍ରେତାଂ ଇନାକା ବାର୍ତ ୱାନାତ୍, ହେଦାଂ ତାଙ୍ଗେଙ୍ଗ୍ ବିଟାଡ଼୍ କିନାତ୍ ।”
12 On this his disciples came up to him, and said: “Do you know that the Pharisees were shocked on hearing what you said?”
ଚେଲାର୍ ଜିସୁ ଲାଗେ ୱାଜ଼ି ଇଚାର୍, “ନି କାତା ୱେନ୍ଞ୍ଜି ପାରୁସିର୍ ରିସା ଆତାର୍ଣ୍ଣା, ଇଦାଂ ଇନାକା ଏନ୍ ପୁନୁୟା?”
13 “Every plant,” Jesus replied, “that my heavenly Father has not planted will be rooted up.
ଜିସୁ ଉତର୍ ହିତାନ୍, “ଇମ୍ଣି ମାର୍କୁ ନା ସାର୍ଗେନି ଆବା ରୁଜ଼୍ୱାତାନ୍ନା, ହେ ୱିଜ଼ୁ ଉଟ୍କା ଆଜ଼ି ହାନାତ୍ ।
14 Let them be; they are but blind guides; and, if one blind man guides another, both of them will fall into a ditch.”
ହେୱାର୍ ବିସ୍ରେ ତାନ୍ଦ୍ରା ଆମାଟ୍ । ହେୱାର୍ କାଣା ବିନ୍ କାଣାରିଂ ହାଜ଼ି ଚଚ୍ନାକାର୍ । ର କାଣା ଆରେ ର କାଣାଂ ହାଜ଼ି ଚଚ୍ଚିସ୍ ରିୟାର୍ ପା କ୍ଡଇଦ ଆର୍ଣ୍ଣାର୍ ।”
15 Upon this, Peter said to Jesus: “Explain this saying to us.”
ହେବେଣ୍ଡାଂ ପିତର୍ ତାଙ୍ଗ୍ ଉତର୍ ହିତାନ୍, “ଉତର୍ମୁଡ଼୍ ମାଙ୍ଗେଙ୍ଗ୍ ବୁଜାୟ୍କିଦା ।”
16 “What, do even you understand nothing yet?” Jesus exclaimed.
ଜିସୁ ଇଚାନ୍, ଏପେଙ୍ଗ୍ ପା ଇନାକା “ଇ ପାତେକ୍ ବୁଜାଆଉଦେରା?
17 “Do not you see that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the stomach, and is afterwards expelled?
ଇନାକା ୱେଇଦ ହଣାତ୍, ହେଦାଂ ପଟତ ହାଲ୍ଜି ବାର୍ତବାହାତ ହାନାତ୍, ଇଦାଂ ଇନାକା ବୁଜା ଆଉଦେରା?
18 But the things that come out from the mouth proceed from the heart, and it is these that defile a man;
ମାତର୍ ୱେଇଦାଂ ଇନାକା ସବୁ ହନାତ୍, ହେଦାଂ ୱାସ୍କିତାଂ ହନାତ୍ ଆରି ହେଦାଂ ନେ ମାନାୟ୍ତିଂ ବିଟାଡ଼୍ କିନାତ୍ ।
19 for out of the heart proceed evil thoughts — murder, adultery, unchastity, theft, perjury, slander.
ଇନାକିଦେଂକି ମାନ୍ତାଂ କାରାପ୍ ବିସ୍ରେ, ବେକାର୍ ଚିନ୍ତା ମାନାୟ୍ ଟୁଣାକା, ଦାରି, ମ୍ଡାନାକା, ମିଚ୍ ସାକି, ଆରି ନିନ୍ଦା କିନାକା ହନାତ୍ ।
20 These are the things that defile a man; but eating with unwashed hands does not defile a man.”
ଇଦାଂ ୱିଜ଼ୁ କାମାୟ୍ ମାନାୟ୍ତିଂ ବିଟାଡ଼୍ କିନାତ୍, ମାତର୍ ହେୱାର୍ କିନି କାଜିଂ ମାତର୍ ରିତିନିତି ଲାକେ କେଇ ନୁସ୍ୱାଦାଂ ଚିଚିସ୍ ମାନାୟାରିଂ ବିଟାଡ଼୍ କିଉତ୍ ।”
21 On going away from that place, Jesus retired to the country round Tyre and Sidon.
ଜିସୁ ହେ ବାହା ପିସ୍ତି ସର ଆରି ସିଦନ୍ ନିପ ଲାଗେ ଗାଡ଼୍ଦ ହାଚାନ୍ ।
22 There, a Canaanite woman of that district came out and began calling to Jesus: “Take pity on me, Master, Son of David; my daughter is grievously possessed by a demon.”
ଆରେ ହୁଡ଼ା, ହେ ହାନ୍ଦିତାଂ ରଞ୍ଜେଲ୍ କିଣାନିୟ କଗ୍ଲେ ଗାଜା କାଟ୍ତାଂ ଇଞ୍ଜେଙ୍ଗ୍ ଲାଗାତାତ୍, “ଏ ମାପ୍ରୁ ଦାଉଦ୍ତି ହିମ୍ଣା ନାଙ୍ଗ୍ ଦୟା କିଦା । ମାଞ୍ଜି ଗାଡ଼୍ଚେଂ ପୁଦା ଆସ୍ତାତାନ୍ନା ଆରି ହେଦେଲ୍ ବେସି କସ୍ଟ ଆନାତା ।”
23 But Jesus did not answer her a word; and his disciples came up and begged him to send her away. “She keeps calling out after us,” they said.
ମାତର୍ ଜିସୁ ତାଙ୍ଗେଙ୍ଗ୍ ପାଦେକ୍ ପା ଉତର୍ ହିୱାତାନ୍ । ଆରି ତା ଚେଲାହିର୍ ୱାଜ଼ି ତାଙ୍ଗ୍ ଗୱାରି କିଜ଼ି ଇଞ୍ଜେଙ୍ଗ୍ ଲାଗାତାର୍, “ଇଦେଲିଂ ହାଜ଼ି ଲୱାଡ଼୍ ହିୟା, ଇନାକିଦେଂକି ଇଦେଲ୍ ମା ପାଚେ ପାଚେ ଆଲା ଆନାତା ।”
24 “I was not sent,” replied Jesus, “to any one except the lost sheep of Israel.”
ଜିସୁ ଉତର୍ ହିତାନ୍, “ଜାଙ୍ଗ୍ତି ମେଣ୍ଡା ଲାକେ ହାଜ଼ିବାଣାତି ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ୍ନି ଲକ୍ ତାକେ ଆନ୍ ୱାତାଙ୍ଗ୍ନା ।”
25 But the woman came, and, bowing to the ground before him, said: “Master, help me.”
ମାତର୍ କଗ୍ଲେ ୱାଜ଼ି ଜିସୁଙ୍ଗ୍ ଜୱାର୍ କିଜ଼ି ଇଞ୍ଜେଙ୍ଗ୍ ଲାଗାତାତ୍, “ମାପ୍ରୁ, ନାଙ୍ଗେଙ୍ଗ୍ ଦୟା କିଦା ।”
26 “It is not fair,” replied Jesus, “to take the children’s food and throw it to dogs.”
ଜିସୁ ଇଚାନ୍, “ହିମ୍ଣାଙ୍ଗ୍ତି ଆରାଣ୍ ଅଜ଼ି ନିକୁଡ଼ିଙ୍ଗ୍ କଚଣ୍ତ ତୁହିନାକା ହାର୍ ଆକାୟ୍ ।”
27 “Yes, Master,” she said, “for even dogs do feed on the scraps that fall from their owners’ table.”
ମାତର୍ ହେଦେଲ୍ ଇଚାତ୍, “ଆଁ, ମାପ୍ରୁ, ମାତର୍ ନିକୁଡ଼ିଙ୍ଗ୍ ତ ଜାର୍ ଜାର୍ ମାପ୍ରୁତି ପାଟା ତାରେନ୍ ଆର୍ତି ସୁକ୍ଡ଼ି ତିନିକ୍ ।”
28 “Your faith is great,” was his reply to the woman; “it shall be as you wish!” And her daughter was cured that very hour.
ଜିସୁ ତା କାତାନି ଉତର୍ ହିଜ଼ି ଇଚାନ୍, “ଏ କଇ, ନିନ୍ଦାଂ ଗାଜା ପାର୍ତି, ନି ଇଚା ହୁକେ ନିଂ ଗିଟାଏତ୍ ।” ହେ ସମୁତ ହେଦେଲ୍ତି ଗାଡ଼୍ଚେ ଉଜ୍ ଆତାତ୍ ।
29 On leaving that place, Jesus went to the shore of the Sea of Galilee; and then went up the hill, and sat down., you will do what not only what has been done to the fig tree, but, even if you should say to this hill ‘Be lifted up and hurled into the sea!’ it would be done.
ଜିସୁ ହେବେତାଂ ହସି ଗାଲିଲି ଗୁଟି ଗୁଟି ହାଲ୍ଜି ର ମାଡ଼ି, ଜପି କୁଚାନ୍ ।
30 Great crowds of people came to him, bringing with them those who were lame, crippled, blind, or dumb, and many others. They put them down at his feet, and he cured them;
ଆରେ, ବେସିହେନି ମାନାୟ୍ ଟୁଟା, କାଣା, ଚଟା, ଗୁଲା, ଆରି ବେସି ବେମାର୍ ମାନାୟାରିଂ ତାସି ଜିସୁ ପାନା ତାରେନ୍ ଇଡ୍ତାର୍ ଆରେ ଜିସୁ ୱିଜ଼ାରିଂ ଉଜ୍ କିତାନ୍ ।
31 and the crowds were astonished, when they saw the dumb talking, the cripples made sound, the lame walking about, and the blind with their sight restored; and they praised the God of Israel.
ଇ ଲାକେ କନ୍ଦା ବେଣ୍ କିତାନ୍, ଚଟାର୍ ଉଜ୍ ଆତାର୍, ଚଟାର୍ ତାଙ୍ଗ୍ତାର୍, କାଣାର୍ ହୁଡ଼୍ନାରା, ଇଦାଂ ହୁଡ଼୍ତାର୍, ଆରି ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ୍ନି ଇସ୍ୱର୍ତି ପାର୍ତାନା କିତାର୍ ।
32 Afterwards Jesus called his disciples to him, and said: “My heart is moved at the sight of all these people, for they have already been with me three days and they have nothing to eat; and I am unwilling to send them away hungry, for fear that they should break down on the way.”
ଜିସୁ ଚେଲାହିର୍ ହିର୍ବିସ୍ ଇଚାନ୍, “ଇ ମାନାୟାର୍ କାଜିଂ ନାଙ୍ଗ୍ ଦୁକ୍ ହତ୍ନାତା, ଇନାକିଦେଂକି ଇୱାର୍ ନା ଲାହାଙ୍ଗ୍ ତିନ୍ ଦିନ୍ ଆତାତେ ଆରି ନଙ୍ଗ୍ ହେୱାର୍ କଚଣ୍ତ ଇନାକା ତିନାକା ହିଲୁତ୍ । ହେୱାର୍ ତିନ୍ୱାଦାଂ ଇବେତାଂ ପକ୍ତେଂ, ଇ କାତା ଆନ୍ ମାନ୍କିଉଙ୍ଗ୍; ଇନାକିଦେଂକି ହାନିହିଂ ହାସ୍ଦ ହେୱାର୍ ନାସ୍କି ବାଉଡ଼ା ଆସି ଗୁର୍ନାର୍ ।”
33 “Where can we,” his disciples asked, “in a lonely place find enough bread for such a crowd as this?”
ଚେଲାହିର୍ ତାଙ୍ଗ୍ ୱେନ୍ବାତାର୍, “ଏଚେକ୍ ମାନାୟାରିଂ ଚିଚ୍ପେଦେଂ ଆସେଙ୍ଗ୍ ଚିମ୍ରା ବାହାତ ଇମେଣ୍ଡାଂ ଏଚେକ୍ ରୁଟିଂ ଗାଟାନାସ୍ ।”
34 “How many loaves have you?” said Jesus. “Seven,” they answered, “and a few small fish.”
ଜିସୁ ହେୱାରିଂ ୱେନ୍ବାତାନ୍, ମି ତାକେ ଏଚଙ୍ଗ୍ ରୁଟିଂ ମାନିକ୍? ହେୱାର୍ ଇଚାର୍, “ସାତ୍ଗଟା, ଆରେ, ଅଲପ୍ କେତ୍ଗଟା ହିରୁ ମିନ୍କୁ ।”
35 Telling the crowd to sit down on the ground,
ଜିସୁ ମାନାୟାରିଂ ମେଦ୍ନିତ ଜପି କୁଚ୍ଚେଂ ୱେଚ୍ଚାନ୍ ।
36 Jesus took the seven loaves and the fish, and, after saying the thanksgiving, broke them, and gave them to the disciples; and the disciples gave them to the crowds.
ଆରେ ଜିସୁ ହେ ସାତ୍ଗଟା ରୁଟିଂ ଆରି ମିନ୍କୁ ଅଜ଼ି ଦନ୍ୟବାଦ୍ ହିଜ଼ି ହେ ସବୁ ଚେଲାହିରିଂ ହିତାନ୍, ହେୱାର୍ ମାନାୟାରିଂ ହିତାର୍ ।
37 Every one had sufficient to eat, and they picked up seven baskets full of the broken pieces left.
ଆରେ, ୱିଜ଼ାର୍ ତିନ୍ଞ୍ଜି ପଟ ପାନ୍ଚାର୍ ଆରି ଡ୍ରିକ୍ତି ରୁଟିଂ ଏଚେକ୍ ହାର୍ତାତ୍, ହେଦାଂ ହେୱାର୍ ପେସ୍ଦି ସାତ୍ ଟପା ବାର୍ତି କିତାର୍ ।
38 The men who ate were four thousand in number without counting women and children.
କଗ୍ଲେ ଆରି ହିମ୍ଣାକାଂ ପିସ୍ତି ଚାରି ହାଜାର୍ ଆଣ୍ଡ୍ରାହିମ୍ଣାଂ ମାଚାର୍ ।
39 Then, after dismissing the crowds, Jesus got into the boat, and went to the neighbourhood of Magadan.
ଇଦାଂ ପାଚେ ଜିସୁ ମାନାୟାରିଂ ହେଲ ହିଜ଼ି ଡଙ୍ଗାତ ଦୁମ୍ଜି ମୁଗ୍ଦାନ୍ ନିପ ହାଚାନ୍ ।
