Luke 6
1 One Sabbath Jesus was walking through cornfields, and his disciples were picking the ears of wheat, and rubbing them in their hands, and eating them.
| و واقع شد در سبت دوم اولین که او از میان کشت زارها می‌گذشت و شاگردانش خوشه‌ها می‌چیدند و به کف مالیده می‌خوردند. | ۱ |
2 “Why are you doing what it is not allowable to do on the Sabbath?” asked some of the Pharisees.
| و بعضی از فریسیان بدیشان گفتند: «چرا کاری می‌کنید که کردن آن در سبت جایز نیست.» | ۲ |
3 Jesus’ answer was: “Have not you read even of what David did, when he was hungry, he and his companions —
| عیسی در جواب ایشان گفت: «آیا نخوانده ایدآنچه داود و رفقایش کردند در وقتی که گرسنه بودند، | ۳ |
4 That he went into the House of God, and took the consecrated bread and ate it, and gave some to his companions, though only the priests are allowed to eat it?”
| که چگونه به خانه خدا درآمده نان تقدمه را گرفته بخورد و به رفقای خود نیز داد که خوردن آن جز به کهنه روا نیست.» | ۴ |
5 Then Jesus added: “The Son of Man is lord even of the Sabbath.”
| پس بدیشان گفت: «پسر انسان مالک روز سبت نیز هست.» | ۵ |
6 On another Sabbath Jesus went into the Synagogue and taught; and there was a man there whose right hand was withered.
| و در سبت دیگر به کنیسه درآمده تعلیم می‌داد و در آنجا مردی بود که دست راستش خشک بود. | ۶ |
7 The Teachers of the Law and the Pharisees watched Jesus closely, to see if he would work cures on the Sabbath, so that they might find a charge to bring against him.
| و کاتبان و فریسیان چشم بر اومی داشتند که شاید در سبت شفا دهد تا شکایتی بر او یابند. | ۷ |
8 Jesus, however, knew what was in the their minds, and said to the man whose hand was withered: “Stand up and come out into the middle.” The man stood up;
| او خیالات ایشان را درک نموده، بدان مرد دست خشک گفت: «برخیز و در میان بایست.» در حال برخاسته بایستاد. | ۸ |
9 and Jesus said to them: “I ask you, is it allowable to do good on the Sabbath — or harm? to save a life, or let it perish?”
| عیسی بدیشان گفت: «از شما چیزی می‌پرسم که در روزسبت کدام رواست، نیکویی‌کردن یا بدی، رهانیدن جان یا هلاک کردن؟» | ۹ |
10 Then, looking round at them all, he said to the man: “Stretch out your hand.” The man did so; and his hand had become sound.
| پس چشم خود را بر جمیع ایشان گردانیده، بدو گفت: «دست خود را دراز کن.» او چنان کرد و فور دستش مثل دست دیگر صحیح گشت. | ۱۰ |
11 But the Teachers of the Law and the Pharisees were goaded to madness, and consulted together what they could do to Jesus.
| اما ایشان ازحماقت پر گشته به یکدیگر می‌گفتند که «باعیسی چه کنیم؟» | ۱۱ |
12 Now about that time, Jesus went out, up the hill, to pray, and spent the whole night in prayer to God.
| و در آن روزها برفراز کوه برآمد تا عبادت کند وآن شب را در عبادت خدا به صبح آورد. | ۱۲ |
13 When day came, he summoned his disciples, and chose twelve of them, whom he also named ‘Apostles.’
| و چون روز شد، شاگردان خود را پیش طلبیده دوازده نفر از ایشان را انتخاب کرده، ایشان را نیزرسول خواند. | ۱۳ |
14 They were Simon (whom Jesus also named Peter), and his brother Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew,
| یعنی شمعون که او را پطرس نیز نام نهاد و برادرش اندریاس، یعقوب و یوحنا، فیلپس و برتولما، | ۱۴ |
15 Matthew, Thomas, James son of Alphaeus, Simon known as the Zealot,
| متی و توما، یعقوب ابن حلفی و شمعون معروف به غیور. | ۱۵ |
16 Judas son of James, and Judas Iscariot, who proved a traitor.
| یهودا برادریعقوب و یهودای اسخریوطی که تسلیم‌کننده وی بود. | ۱۶ |
17 Afterwards Jesus came down the hill with them and took his stand on a level place. With him were a large crowd of his disciples, and great numbers of people from the whole of Judea, Jerusalem, and the coast district of Tyre and Sidon,
| و با ایشان به زیر آمده، بر جای همواربایستاد. و جمعی از شاگردان وی و گروهی بسیاراز قوم، از تمام یهودیه و اورشلیم و کناره دریای صور و صیدون آمدند تا کلام او را بشنوند و ازامراض خود شفا یابند. | ۱۷ |
18 who had come to hear him and to be restored to health. Those, too, who were troubled with foul spirits were cured;
| و کسانی که از ارواح پلید معذب بودند، شفا یافتند. | ۱۸ |
19 and every one in the crowd was trying to touch him, because a power went out from him which restored them all.
| و تمام آن گروه می‌خواستند او را لمس کنند. زیرا قوتی از وی صادر شده، همه را صحت می‌بخشید. | ۱۹ |
20 Then, raising his eyes and looking at his disciples, Jesus spoke as follows: “Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the Kingdom of God.
| پس نظر خود را به شاگردان خویش افکنده، گفت: «خوشابحال شما‌ای مساکین زیراملکوت خدا از آن شما است. | ۲۰ |
21 Blessed are you who hunger now, for you shall be satisfied. Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh.
| خوشابحال شماکه اکنون گرسنه‌اید، زیرا که سیر خواهید شد. خوشابحال شما که الحال گریانید، زیرا خواهیدخندید. | ۲۱ |
22 Blessed are you when men hate you, and when they expel you from among them, and taunt you, and reject your Name as an evil thing — on account of the Son of Man.
| خوشابحال شما وقتی که مردم بخاطرپسر انسان از شما نفرت گیرند و شما را از خودجدا سازند و دشنام دهند و نام شما را مثل شریربیرون کنند. | ۲۲ |
23 Then indeed you may be glad and dance for joy, for be sure that your reward in Heaven will be great; for that is what their ancestors did to the Prophets.
| در آن روز شاد باشید و وجدنمایید زیرا اینک اجر شما در آسمان عظیم می‌باشد، زیرا که به همینطور پدران ایشان با انبیاسلوک نمودند. | ۲۳ |
24 But ‘alas for you who are rich,’ for you have had your comforts in full.
| «لیکن وای بر شما‌ای دولتمندان زیرا که تسلی خود را یافته‌اید. | ۲۴ |
25 Alas for you who are sated now, for you will hunger. Alas for you who laugh now, for you will mourn and weep.
| وای بر شما‌ای سیرشدگان، زیرا گرسنه خواهید شد. وای بر شماکه الان خندانید زیرا که ماتم و گریه خواهید کرد. | ۲۵ |
26 Alas for you when all men speak well of you; for this is what their ancestors did to the false Prophets.
| وای بر شما وقتی که جمیع مردم شما راتحسین کنند، زیرا همچنین پدران ایشان با انبیای کذبه کردند. | ۲۶ |
27 But to you who hear I say — Love your enemies, show kindness to those who hate you,
| «لیکن‌ای شنوندگان شما را می‌گویم دشمنان خود را دوست دارید و با کسانی که ازشما نفرت کنند، احسان کنید. | ۲۷ |
28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who insult you.
| و هرکه شما رالعن کند، برای او برکت بطلبید و برای هرکه با شماکینه دارد، دعای خیر کنید. | ۲۸ |
29 When a man gives one of you a blow on the cheek, offer the other cheek as well; and, when any one takes away your cloak, do not keep back your coat either.
| و هرکه بر رخسارتو زند، دیگری را نیز به سوی او بگردان و کسی‌که ردای تو را بگیرد، قبا را نیز از او مضایقه مکن. | ۲۹ |
30 Give to every one who asks of you; and, when any one takes away what is yours, do not demand its return.
| هرکه از تو سوال کند بدو بده و هرکه مال تو راگیرد از وی باز مخواه. | ۳۰ |
31 Do to others as you wish them to do to you.
| و چنانکه می‌خواهیدمردم با شما عمل کنند، شما نیز به همانطور باایشان سلوک نمایید. | ۳۱ |
32 If you love only those who love you, what thanks will be due to you? Why, even the outcast love those who love them!
| «زیرا اگر محبان خود را محبت نمایید، شما را چه فضیلت است؟ زیرا گناهکاران هم محبان خود را محبت می‌نمایند. | ۳۲ |
33 For, if you show kindness only to those who show kindness to you, what thanks will be due to you? Even the outcast do that!
| و اگر احسان کنید با هرکه به شما احسان کند، چه فضیلت دارید؟ چونکه گناهکاران نیز چنین می‌کنند. | ۳۳ |
34 If you lend only to those from whom you expect to get something, what thanks will be due to you? Even the outcast lend to the outcast in the hope of getting as much in return!
| واگر قرض دهید به آنانی که امید بازگرفتن از ایشان دارید، شما را چه فضیلت است؟ زیرا گناهکاران نیز به گناهکاران قرض می‌دهند تا از ایشان عوض گیرند. | ۳۴ |
35 But love your enemies, and show them kindness, and lend to them, never despairing. Then your reward shall be great, and you shall be Sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the thankless and the bad.
| بلکه دشمنان خود را محبت نمایید واحسان کنید و بدون امید عوض، قرض دهید زیراکه اجر شما عظیم خواهد بود و پسران حضرت اعلی خواهید بود چونکه او با ناسپاسان وبدکاران مهربان است. | ۳۵ |
36 Learn to be merciful — even as your Father is merciful.
| پس رحیم باشید چنانکه پدر شما نیز رحیم است. | ۳۶ |
37 Do not judge, and you will not be judged; do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
| «داوری مکنید تا بر شما داوری نشود وحکم مکنید تا بر شما حکم نشود و عفو کنید تاآمرزیده شوید. | ۳۷ |
38 Give, and others will give to you. A generous measure, pressed and shaken down, and running over, will they pour into your lap; For the measure that you mete will be meted out to you in return.”
| بدهید تا به شما داده شود. زیرا پیمانه نیکوی افشرده و جنبانیده و لبریز شده را در دامن شما خواهند گذارد. زیرا که به همان پیمانه‌ای که می‌پیمایید برای شما پیموده خواهدشد.» | ۳۸ |
39 Then, speaking in parables, Jesus said: “Can one blind man guide another? Will they not both fall into a ditch?
| پس برای ایشان مثلی زد که «آیا می‌تواند کور، کور را راهنمایی کند؟ آیا هر دو در حفره‌ای نمی افتند؟ | ۳۹ |
40 A scholar is not above his teacher; yet every finished scholar shall be like his teacher.
| شاگرد از معلم خویش بهتر نیست لیکن هرکه کامل شده باشد، مثل استاد خود بود. | ۴۰ |
41 And why do you look at the straw in your brother’s eye, while you pay no attention at all to the beam in your own?
| و چرا خسی را که در چشم برادر تو است می‌بینی و چوبی را که در چشم خود داری نمی یابی؟ | ۴۱ |
42 How can you say to your brother ‘Brother, let me take out the straw in your eye,’ while you yourself do not see the beam in your own? Hypocrite! Take out the beam from your own eye first, and then you will see clearly how to take out the straw in your brother’s.
| و چگونه بتوانی برادر خود را گویی‌ای برادر اجازت ده تا خس را از چشم تو برآورم و چوبی را که در چشم خود داری نمی بینی. ای ریاکار اول چوب را از چشم خود بیرون کن، آنگاه نیکو خواهی دید تا خس را از چشم برادر خودبرآوری. | ۴۲ |
43 There is no such thing as a good tree bearing worthless fruit, or, on the other hand, a worthless tree bearing good fruit.
| «زیرا هیچ درخت نیکو میوه بد بارنمی آورد و نه درخت بد، میوه نیکو آورد. | ۴۳ |
44 For every tree is known by its own fruit. People do not gather figs off thorn bushes, nor pick a bunch of grapes off a bramble.
| زیراکه هر درخت از میوه‌اش شناخته می‌شود از خارانجیر را نمی یابند و از بوته، انگور را نمی چینند. | ۴۴ |
45 A good man, from the good stores of his heart, brings out what is good; while a bad man, from his bad stores, brings out what is bad. For what fills a man’s heart will rise to his lips.
| آدم نیکو از خزینه خوب دل خود چیز نیکوبرمی آورد و شخص شریر از خزینه بد دل خویش چیز بد بیرون می‌آورد. زیرا که از زیادتی دل زبان سخن می‌گوید. | ۴۵ |
46 Why do you call me ‘Master! Master!’ and yet fail to do what I tell you?
| «و چون است که مرا خداوندا خداوندامی گویید و آنچه می‌گویم بعمل نمی آورید. | ۴۶ |
47 Every one who comes to me and listens to my teaching and acts upon it — I will show you to whom he may be compared.
| هرکه نزد من آید و سخنان مرا شنود و آنها را به‌جا آورد، شما را نشان می‌دهم که به چه کس مشابهت دارد. | ۴۷ |
48 He may be compared to a man building a house, who dug, and went deep, and laid the foundation upon the rock. Then, when a flood came, the river swept down upon that house, but had no power to shake it, because it had been built well.
| مثل شخصی است که خانه‌ای می‌ساخت و زمین را کنده گود نمود و بنیادش رابر سنگ نهاد. پس چون سیلاب آمده، سیل بر آن خانه زور آورد، نتوانست آن را جنبش دهد زیراکه بر سنگ بنا شده بود. | ۴۸ |
49 But those who have listened and not acted upon what they have heard may be compared to a man who built a house on the ground without any foundation. The river swept down upon it, and the house immediately collapsed; and great was the crash that followed.”
| لیکن هرکه شنید وعمل نیاورد مانند شخصی است که خانه‌ای برروی زمین بی‌بنیاد بنا کرد که چون سیل بر آن صدمه زد، فور افتاد و خرابی آن خانه عظیم بود.» | ۴۹ |
