< John 14 >

1 Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.
Yin da cedi ti yanyangidi n cuo yi, daani mani U Tienu, daani mani mini moko.
2 In my Father’s Home there are many dwellings. If it had not been so, I should have told you, for I am going to prepare a place for you.
N Baa diegu nni pia yi ye kaani boncianla, li yaa bi tie yeni, naani n bi baa yedi, n caa ki baan hanbi yipo ukaanu?
3 And, since I go and prepare a place for you, I shall return and take you to be with me, so that you may be where I am;
N ya ban hanbi ki gbeni n baa guani ki cua ki taa yi tin yegi, yeni min baa ye naani yeni, yi moko baa ye lankane.
4 and you know the way to the place where I am going.”
Yi bani min caa naani yi go bani lipo sanu mo.
5 “We do not know where you are going, Master,” said Thomas; “so how can we know the way?”
Toma den yedi o: o Diedo tii bani han caa naanpo, ti ba tieni lede yo ki bandi lipo sanu?
6 Jesus answered: “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life; no one ever comes to the Father except through me.
Jesu den yedi o: Mini n tie usanu leni imoamoani leni limiali, o bakuli kan pundi Baa kani, kaa tie o tagini n yaa kani.
7 If you had recognised me, you would have known my Father also; for the future you will recognise him, indeed you have already seen him.”
Yi ya bani nni, yi bi baa bani nBaa, ama yi bani o, yi go laa o mo.
8 “Master, show us the Father,” said Philip, “and we shall be satisfied.”
Filipi den yedi o: o Diedo waani ti Baa bebe li baa dagidi tipo.
9 “Have I been all this time among you,” said Jesus, “and yet you, Philip, have not recognised me? He who has seen me has seen the Father, how can you say, then, ‘Show us the Father’?
Jesu den yedi o: Filipi min ye leni yi ke li waagi maama ne haa bandi nni, yua n laa nni kuli laa Baa, be yaapo ke a go yedi waani nni Baa?
10 Do not you believe that I am in union with the Father, and the Father with me? In giving you my teaching I am not speaking on my own authority; but the Father himself, always in union with me, does his own work.
Haa daani ke n ye Baa niinni, ke Baa moko ye n niinni yo? Min wangi yaa maama yeni maa ñani n yaa kani ka, Baa yua n ye n niinni yeni wani n tuuni o tuona.
11 Believe me,” he said to them all, “when I say that I am in union with the Father and the Father with me, or else believe me on account of the work itself.
Daani mani ke n ye Baa niinni, ke Baa moko ye n niinni, lan yaa ka daani kelima yaa tuona n tiena po.
12 In truth I tell you, he who believes in me will himself do the work that I am doing; and he will do greater work still, because I am going to the Father.
N yedi yi imoamoani moamoani kani, yua n daani nni, o baa tuuni min tuuni yaa tuonane, o baa soani baa yaa cie yeni, kelima n caa Baa po.
13 Whatever you ask, in my Name, I will do, that the Father may be honoured in the Son.
Yin baa mia Baa yaala n yeli nni kuli, n baa tieni la ke n Baa, n baa tikpiagidi kelima Bijua yaapo.
14 If you ask anything, in my Name, I will do it.
Yi ya mia bonla ba, kelima n yeli po, n baa tieni la.
15 If you love me, you will lay my commands to heart,
Yi ya bua nni, kubi mani n balimaama.
16 and I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you always — the Spirit of Truth. (aiōn g165)
N baa mia Baa wan payi toa yua n baa tie yi todikoa. wan yaa ye leni yi hali yaa yogunu kuli. (aiōn g165)
17 The world cannot receive this Spirit, because it does not see him or recognise him, but you recognise him, because he is always with you, and is within you.
Yi moamoani fuoma yeni, handuna yaaba kan fidi ki ga o cangu, kelima baa nua o, baa bani o, ama yinba wani yi bani o, kelima o ye leni yi, ki ye yi niinni.
18 I will not leave you bereaved; I will come to you.
N kan ha yi nani akpienbila yeni, n go baa cua yi kani.
19 In a little while the world will see me no more, but you will still see me; because I am living, you will be living also.
Li yaa pugini waamu handuna yaaba kan go le nni. Ama yinba wani baa le nni, kelima n ye ki fo, yi mo baa ye ki fo.
20 At that time you will recognise that I am in union with the Father, and you with me, and I with you.
Laa daali yi baa bandi cain ke n ye n Baa niinni ke yi mo ye n niinni, ke n mo ye yi niinni.
21 It is he who has my commands and lays them to heart that loves me; and he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him.”
Yua n tuo ki ga n balimaama ki kubima, wani n tie yua n bua nni, yua n bua nni, n Baa moko baa bua wane, mini n ba moko n bua o, n go baa doagidi opo min tie yua cain.
22 “What has happened, Master,” said Judas (not Judas Iscariot), “that you are going to reveal yourself to us, and not to the world?”
Jude den buali o, laa tie Judasa isikalioto ka, ama Jude n den buali o, ki yedi o: o Diedo be cedi ke a baa doagidi a yuli ti yaapo, ki nan kan doagidi handuna yaapo wani?
23 “Whoever loves me,” Jesus answered, “will lay my Message to heart; and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our dwelling with him.
Jesu den guani ki yedi o: Yua n bua nni o baa kubi n balimaama, n Baa baa bua o, Ti baa cua ki ya ye leni o, ki tieni ti yekaanu o deni.
24 He who does not love me will not lay my Message to heart; and the Message to which you are listening is not my own, but that of the Father who sent me.
Yua n ki bua nni, kan kubi n maama. Yin gba ya maama yeni maa ñani n yaa kani ka, mi ñani Baa yua n soani nni yaa kane.
25 I have told you all this while still with you,
N wangi yi lankuli hali ke n daa ye leni yi.
26 but the Helper — the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in my Name — he will teach you all things, and will recall to your minds all that I have said to you.
Ama o todikoa, U Tienu fuoma yua, Baa n baa soani yua, kelima n yeli ni yeni, o baa bangi yi li bonla kuli. O go ba tiadi yi min den bangi yi yaala kuli.
27 Peace be with you! My own peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, or dismayed.
N ha yi po n yanduanma, n puni n yanduanma, mii puuni yi nani handuna n puuni maama ka, yin da go yagi yi yama, yin da go jie.
28 You heard me say that I was going away and would return to you. Had you loved me, you would have been glad that I was going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I.
Yi gbadi ke n yedi yi, n caa, ki go baa guani ki cua yi kani. Yi ya buani moamoani yi baa mangi yi pala, kelima n caa Baa po, kelima n Baa cie nni.
29 And this I have told you now before it happens, that, when it does happen, you may still believe in me.
Moala n tuodi ki waani yi la hali ke li daa cua, ke li ya ti cua yin daani.
30 I shall not talk with you much more, for the Spirit that is ruling the world is coming. He has nothing in common with me;
Mii go pia u yogunu ki baa maadi leni yi, kelima handuna bado cua, ama waa pia n po paalu ba kuli.
31 but he is coming that the world may see that I love the Father, and that I do as the Father commanded me. Come, let us be going.
Ama ke handuna n bandi ke n bua Baa, ki go tuuni nani wani Baa n teni nni li ñoabonli maama. Fii mani tin fuadi nekanba.
