Hebrews 1
1 God, who, of old, at many times and in many ways, spoke to our ancestors, by the Prophets,
Dios habló hace mucho tiempo, muchas veces y de muchas maneras a los antepasados por medio de los profetas.
2 has in these latter days spoken to us by the Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. (aiōn g165)
En estos últimos días nos habló por medio del Hijo, a Quien declaró Heredero de todas las cosas, por medio de Quien también hizo los universos, (aiōn g165)
3 For he is the radiance of the Glory of God and the very expression of his Being, upholding all creation by the power of his word; and, when he had made an expiation for the sins of men, he ‘took his seat at the right hand’ of God’s Majesty on high,
Quien es [el] resplandor de la Gloria y reproducción exacta de su esencia, Quien sustenta todas las cosas con la Palabra de su poder. Después de purificarnos de los pecados por medio de Él mismo, se sentó a [la] derecha de la Majestad en [las] alturas.
4 having shown himself as much greater than the angels as the Name that he has inherited surpasses theirs.
Como es superior a los ángeles, heredó un Nombre más excelente que ellos.
5 For to which of the angels did God ever say — ‘Thou art my Son; this day I have become thy Father’? or again — ‘I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son’?
Porque ¿a cuál de los ángeles dijo alguna vez: Mi hijo eres Tú. Yo te engendré hoy? Y otra vez: ¿Yo le seré Padre, Y Él me será Hijo?
6 And again, when God brought the First-born into the world, he said — ‘Let all the angels of God bow down before him.’
Otra vez, cuando introduce al Primogénito en el mundo, dice: Adórenlo todos los ángeles de Dios.
7 Speaking of the angels, he said — ‘He makes the winds his angels And the fiery flames his servants’;
Y de los ángeles dice: Quien convierte a sus ángeles en espíritus, Y a sus ministros en llama de fuego.
8 while of the Son he said — ‘God is thy throne for ever and ever; The sceptre of his Kingdom is the sceptre of Justice; (aiōn g165)
Pero del Hijo [dijo]: Tu trono, oh Dios, es por el siglo del siglo, Y el cetro de tu reino es cetro de justicia. (aiōn g165)
9 Thou lovest righteousness and hatest iniquity; Therefore God, thy God, has anointed thee with the festal oil more abundantly than thy peers.’
Amaste [la] justicia y aborreciste [la ]iniquidad. Por tanto Dios te ungió, el Dios tuyo, Con aceite de regocijo por encima de tus compañeros.
10 Again — ‘Thou, Lord, in the beginning didst lay the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of thy hands.
Y: Tú, Señor, desde [el] principio fundaste la tierra, Y los cielos son obras de tus manos,
11 They shall perish, but thou remainest; As a garment they shall all grow old;
Y se acabarán, pero Tú permaneces. Y todos envejecerán como ropa.
12 As a mantle thou wilt fold them up, And as a garment they shall be changed, But thou art the same, and thy years shall know no end.’
Como un vestido los enrollarás, Y como ropa serán mudados. Pero Tú eres el mismo, Y tus años no acabarán.
13 To which of the angels has God ever said — ‘Sit thou at my right hand Until I put thy enemies as a stool for thy feet’?
Y, ¿A cuál de los ángeles [Dios] dijo alguna vez: Siéntate a mi derecha, Hasta que ponga a tus enemigos como tarima para tus pies?
14 Are not all the angels spirits in the service of God, sent out to minister for the sake of those who are destined to obtain Salvation?
¿No son todos [los ángeles] espíritus servidores, enviados para ayudar a los herederos de [la] salvación?
