< Psalms 98 >

1 Sing to Yahweh a new song, because he has done wonderful things! By his power [MTY] and his great strength [DOU] he has defeated [his enemies].
Dwom. Monto dwom foforɔ mma Awurade, ɛfiri sɛ wayɛ anwanwadeɛ bebree; ne nsa nifa ne ne basa kronkron no anya nkwagyeɛ ama no.
2 Yahweh has declared to people that he has defeated his enemies; he has revealed that he has punished [them], and [people in] all the world have seen that he has done it.
Awurade ama wɔahunu ne nkwagyeɛ na wada ne tenenee adi akyerɛ amanaman no.
3 Like he promised to us Israeli people [MTY], he has faithfully loved us and (been loyal to/not abandoned) us. [People who live] in very remote places in all the earth have seen that our God has defeated [his enemies].
Wakae nʼadɔeɛ ne ne nokorɛ a ɔdi akyerɛ Israelfoɔ; asase ano nyinaa ahunu yɛn Onyankopɔn nkwagyeɛ.
4 All you [people] [MTY] everywhere should sing joyfully to Yahweh; praise him while you sing and shout joyfully!
Asase nyinaa mommɔ ose mma Awurade, momfa nnwontoɔ nni ahurisie;
5 Praise Yahweh while you play the lyres/harps, playing [delightful] music.
Momfa sankuo nto dwom mma Awurade, sankuo ne nnwontoɔ nnyegyeɛ,
6 [Some of you should] blow trumpets and other horns, [while others] shout joyfully to Yahweh, [our] king.
momfa totorobɛnto ne nnwennini mmɛn, nteam ahosɛpɛ so wɔ Awurade, yɛn ɔhene no anim.
7 The oceans and all [the creatures] that are in the oceans should roar [to praise Yahweh]. Everyone on the earth should sing!
Ɛpo ne abɔdeɛ a ɛwɔ mu nyinaa monworo so; asase ne wɔn a wɔte soɔ nyinaa.
8 [It should seem as though] the rivers are clapping their hands [to praise Yahweh] and that the hills are singing together joyfully in front of Yahweh,
Momma nsubɔntene mmɔ wɔn nsam, mmepɔ nka mmom nto ahurisie dwom;
9 because he will come to judge [everyone on] [MTY] the earth! He will judge [all] the people-groups [in the world] justly and fairly [DOU].
ma wɔnto dwom wɔ Awurade anim, ɛfiri sɛ ɔreba abɛbu ewiase atɛn. Ɔde tenenee bɛbu ewiase atɛn na ɔde pɛpɛyɛ abu nnipa atɛn.
