Psalms 87

1 The city that Yahweh established is on his sacred hill.

Salmo di Cantico de' figliuoli di Core LA fondazione del Signore[è] ne' monti santi.

2 He loves that city, Jerusalem, more than he loves any other city in Israel.

Il Signore ama le porte di Sion, Sopra tutte le stanze di Giacobbe.

3 [You people in] [APO] the city that God (owns/lives in), people say wonderful things about your city.

O Città di Dio, Cose gloriose son dette di te. (Sela)

4 [Some of those who know about God are the people of] Egypt and Babylonia, and also [the people of] Philistia and Tyre and Ethiopia; [some day they all] will say, “[Although I was not born in Jerusalem], [because I belong to Yahweh, it is as though] I was born there.”

Io mentoverò, [dice al Signore], Rahab, e Babilonia, Fra quelli che mi conoscono; Ecco, i Filistei ed i Tiri insieme con gli Etiopi, [De' quali si dirà: ] Costui è nato quivi.

5 And concerning Jerusalem, people will say [“It is as though] everyone was born there, and Almighty God will cause that city to remain strong/safe/secure.”

E si dirà di Sion: Questi e quegli è nato in essa; E l'Altissimo stesso la stabilirà.

6 Yahweh will write a list of [the names of] the people of various groups [who belong to him], and he will say that [he considers them] all to be citizens of Jerusalem.

Il Signore, rassegnando i popoli, annovererà [coloro], [Dicendo: ] Un tale è nato quivi. (Sela)

7 They will all dance and sing, saying, “Jerusalem is the source of all our blessings.”

E cantori, e suonatori, E tutte le mie fonti, [saranno] in te.
