Psalms 87

1 The city that Yahweh established is on his sacred hill.

কোরহ বংশের সন্তানদের গীত। একটি সংগীত। পবিত্র পর্বতে তিনি তাঁর নগর স্থাপন করেছেন।

2 He loves that city, Jerusalem, more than he loves any other city in Israel.

যাকোবের কুলের অন্য সমস্ত বাসস্থান থেকে সদাপ্রভু সিয়োনের দ্বারসকল ভালোবাসেন।

3 [You people in] [APO] the city that God (owns/lives in), people say wonderful things about your city.

হে ঈশ্বরের নগরী, তোমার বিষয়ে গৌরবের কথা বলা হয়:

4 [Some of those who know about God are the people of] Egypt and Babylonia, and also [the people of] Philistia and Tyre and Ethiopia; [some day they all] will say, “[Although I was not born in Jerusalem], [because I belong to Yahweh, it is as though] I was born there.”

“যারা আমাকে স্বীকার করে তাদের মধ্যে আমি রহব এবং ব্যাবিলনের উল্লেখ করব, এমনকি ফিলিস্তিয়া, সোর ও কূশ— এবং বলব, ‘এই সবের জন্ম সিয়োনে হয়েছে।’”

5 And concerning Jerusalem, people will say [“It is as though] everyone was born there, and Almighty God will cause that city to remain strong/safe/secure.”

সত্যিই, সিয়োন সম্পর্কে ঘোষণা করা হবে, “এর জন্ম সিয়োনে হয়েছে, ওরও জন্ম হয়েছে, এবং পরাৎপর স্বয়ং তাঁকে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করবেন।”

6 Yahweh will write a list of [the names of] the people of various groups [who belong to him], and he will say that [he considers them] all to be citizens of Jerusalem.

সদাপ্রভু লোকেদের সম্বন্ধে গণনা করার গ্রন্থে লিখবেন: “এর জন্ম সিয়োনে হয়েছে।”

7 They will all dance and sing, saying, “Jerusalem is the source of all our blessings.”

সবাই যারা গান ও নাচ করবে, তারা বলবে, “সিয়োন আমার জীবনের উৎস।”
