Psalms 76
1 People in Judah know God; the Israeli people honor him [MTY].
கம்பியிசைக் கருவிகளுடன் பாடி பாடகர் குழுத் தலைவனுக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கப்பட்ட பாட்டாகிய ஆசாபின் சங்கீதம். யூதாவில் இறைவன் அறியப்பட்டிருக்கிறார்; இஸ்ரயேலில் அவருடைய பெயர் பெரியது.
2 His home is in Jerusalem; he lives on Zion [Hill].
அவருடைய கூடாரம் சாலேமில் இருக்கிறது; அவருடைய தங்குமிடம் சீயோனில் இருக்கிறது.
3 There he broke the flaming arrows [that his enemies shot], [and he also broke] their shields and swords and other weapons that they used in battles.
அங்கே அவர் தீப்பிழம்போடு பாயும் அம்புகளையும், கேடயங்களையும், வாள்களையும், போராயுதங்களையும் உடைத்தார்.
4 God, you are glorious! You are like a king [as you return from] the mountains [where you defeated your enemies].
நீர் ஒளியுள்ளவராய்த் துலங்குகிறீர்; வேட்டையாடும் மலைகளைப் பார்க்கிலும் அதிக கம்பீரமுடையவராய் இருக்கிறீர்.
5 Their brave soldiers [were killed, and then those who killed them] took away everything that those soldiers had. Those enemies died [EUP], [so] they were unable to use their weapons [any more]!
வீரமுள்ள மனிதர் கொள்ளையிடப்பட்டு, அவர்கள் மரண நித்திரை அடைந்தார்கள்; போர்வீரரில் ஒருவனும் தன் கைகளை உயர்த்த முடியாமலிருக்கிறான்.
6 When you, the God whom Jacob [worshiped], rebuked [your enemies], [the result was that their] horses and their riders fell down dead.
யாக்கோபின் இறைவனே, உமது கோபத்தில் குதிரை, தேர் இரண்டுமே செயலிழந்து கிடக்கின்றன.
7 But you cause everyone to be afraid. When you are angry [and you punish people], no one can [RHQ] endure it.
நீரே, நீர் ஒருவருரே பயப்படத்தக்கவர்; நீர் கோபமாய் இருக்கும்போது உம்முன் யாரால் நிற்கமுடியும்?
8 From heaven you proclaimed that you would judge people, [and then everyone on] the earth was afraid and did not say [anything more],
நீர் வானத்திலிருந்து நியாயத்தீர்ப்பை வழங்கினீர்; பூமி பயந்து அமைதியாய் இருந்தது.
9 when you arose to declare that you would punish [wicked people] and rescue all those whom they had oppressed.
இறைவனே, நாட்டில் துன்புற்ற யாவரையும் காப்பாற்றுவதற்காக நீர் எழுந்தபோதே, அந்த நியாயத்தீர்ப்பை வழங்கினீர்.
10 When [you punish those] with whom you are angry, your people will praise you, and [your enemies] who (survive/are not killed) will worship you on your festival days.
நிச்சயமாகவே, மனிதருக்கு விரோதமான உமது கோபம் உமக்குத் துதியைக் கொண்டுவருகிறது; உமது கடுங்கோபத்திற்குத் தப்பி மீந்தவர்களை நீர் அடக்குவீர்.
11 [So] give to Yahweh the offerings that you promised to give to him; all the people of nearby people-groups should also bring gifts to him, the one who is awesome.
உங்கள் யெகோவாவாகிய இறைவனுக்கு நேர்த்திக் கடன்களைச் செய்து, அவைகளை நிறைவேற்றுங்கள். அவரைச் சுற்றியிருக்கிற நாடுகளெல்லாம் பயப்படத்தக்கவரான அவருக்கே அன்பளிப்புகளைக் கொண்டுவரட்டும்.
12 He humbles [IDM] princes, and [even] causes [great] kings to be terrified.
அவர் ஆளுநர்களின் ஆவியை நொறுக்குகிறார்; பூமியின் அரசர்கள் அவருக்குப் பயப்படுகிறார்கள்.
