Psalms 3
1 Yahweh, I have many enemies [DOU]! There are many people who oppose/rebel against me.
Đức Giê-hô-va ôi! kẻ cừu địch tôi đã thêm nhiều dường bao! Lắm kẻ dấy lên cùng tôi thay!
2 Many people are saying about me, “God will [certainly] not help him!”
Biết bao kẻ nói về linh hồn tôi rằng: Nơi Đức Chúa Trời chẳng có sự cứu rỗi cho nó.
3 But Yahweh, you are like a shield [that protects me] [MET]. You greatly honor me, and you encourage me (OR, enable me to triumph over my enemies) [IDM].
Nhưng, hỡi Đức Giê-hô-va, Ngài là cái khiên chở che tôi; Ngài là sự vinh hiển tôi, và là Đấng làm cho tôi ngước đầu lên.
4 I cry out to you, Yahweh, and you answer me from [Zion], your sacred hill.
Tôi lấy tiếng tôi mà kêu cầu Đức Giê-hô-va, Từ núi thánh Ngài đáp lời tôi.
5 [At night] I lie down and sleep, and I awake [in the morning feeling good/refreshed] because you, Yahweh, (take care of/protect) me [all during the night].
Tôi nằm xuống mà ngủ; Tôi tỉnh thức, vì Đức Giê-hô-va nâng đỡ tôi.
6 There may be thousands of [enemy] soldiers who surround me, but I am not afraid.
Tôi sẽ không nao muôn người Vây tôi khắp bốn bên.
7 Yahweh, arise! My God, [come and] rescue me [again]! You [insult] my enemies by slapping them on their cheeks; [when you strike them], you break their teeth, [with the result that they cannot hurt anyone] [MET].
Hỡi Đức Giê-hô-va, hãy chỗi dậy; Hỡi Đức Chúa Trời tôi, hãy cứu tôi! Vì Chúa đã vả má các kẻ thù nghịch tôi, Và bẻ gãy răng kẻ ác.
8 Yahweh, you are the one who saves your people [from their enemies]. Yahweh, bless your people!
Sự cứu rỗi thuộc về Đức Giê-hô-va. Nguyện phước Ngài giáng trên dân sự Ngài!
