Psalms 3
1 Yahweh, I have many enemies [DOU]! There are many people who oppose/rebel against me.
Псалом Давида, когда он бежал от Авессалома, сына своего. Господи! как умножились враги мои! Многие восстают на меня
2 Many people are saying about me, “God will [certainly] not help him!”
многие говорят душе моей: “нет ему спасения в Боге”.
3 But Yahweh, you are like a shield [that protects me] [MET]. You greatly honor me, and you encourage me (OR, enable me to triumph over my enemies) [IDM].
Но Ты, Господи, щит предо мною, слава моя, и Ты возносишь голову мою.
4 I cry out to you, Yahweh, and you answer me from [Zion], your sacred hill.
Гласом моим взываю к Господу, и Он слышит меня со святой горы Своей.
5 [At night] I lie down and sleep, and I awake [in the morning feeling good/refreshed] because you, Yahweh, (take care of/protect) me [all during the night].
Ложусь я, сплю и встаю, ибо Господь защищает меня.
6 There may be thousands of [enemy] soldiers who surround me, but I am not afraid.
Не убоюсь тем народа, которые со всех сторон ополчились на меня.
7 Yahweh, arise! My God, [come and] rescue me [again]! You [insult] my enemies by slapping them on their cheeks; [when you strike them], you break their teeth, [with the result that they cannot hurt anyone] [MET].
Восстань, Господи! спаси меня, Боже мой! ибо Ты поражаешь в ланиту всех врагов моих; сокрушаешь зубы нечестивых.
8 Yahweh, you are the one who saves your people [from their enemies]. Yahweh, bless your people!
От Господа спасение. Над народом Твоим благословение Твое.
