Psalms 131

1 Yahweh, I am not proud and I have not thought highly about (myself/the things that I have done). And I do not concern myself about things [that you have done] that are very big or very wonderful.

౧దావీదు రాసిన యాత్రల కీర్తన యెహోవా, నా హృదయంలో అహంకారం లేదు. నా కళ్ళు నెత్తికెక్కి ప్రవర్తించడం లేదు. నాకు మించిన విషయాల జోలికి నేను వెళ్ళడం లేదు.

2 Instead, I am calm and peaceful, like a [small] child who lies quietly in its mother’s arms [SIM]. In the same way, I am peaceful.

౨తల్లిపాలు విడిచిన పిల్ల తన తల్లి దగ్గర నిశ్చింతగా ఉన్నట్టు నేను ప్రశాంతంగా ఉండి నాప్రాణాన్ని స్థిమితంగా ఉంచుకున్నాను.

3 You [my fellow] Israelis, confidently expect that Yahweh [will do good things for you], now and forever!

౩ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలారా, ఇప్పటి నుండి ఎప్పటికీ యెహోవా పైనే ఆశ పెట్టుకోండి.
