Psalms 125

1 Those/We who trust in Yahweh are [as secure/steadfast] [SIM] as Zion Hill, which cannot be shaken and can never be moved.

आराधना के लिए यात्रियों का गीत. जिन्होंने याहवेह पर भरोसा किया है, वे ज़ियोन पर्वत समान हैं, जिसे हिलाया नहीं जा सकता, जो सदा-सर्वदा स्थायी है.

2 Like the hills that surround Jerusalem [protect the city], Yahweh protects [us], his people, and he will protect us forever.

जिस प्रकार पर्वतों ने येरूशलेम को घेरा हुआ है, उसी प्रकार याहवेह भी अपनी प्रजा को घेरे हुए हैं आज भी और सदा-सर्वदा.

3 Wicked people [MTY] should not [be allowed to] rule over the land where righteous [people] live. If they did that, those righteous [people] might [(be encouraged to imitate them and]) do things that are wrong.

धर्मियों को आवंटित भूमि पर दुष्टों का राजदंड स्थायी न रहेगा, कहीं ऐसा न हो कि धर्मियों के हाथ बुराई की ओर बढ़ जाएं.

4 Yahweh, do good things to those who do good things to others and to those who sincerely obey your commands [IDM].

याहवेह, धर्मियों का कल्याण कीजिए, उनका, जिनके हृदय निष्ठ हैं.

5 But when you punish the wicked people [who are not Israelis], also punish those [Israelis] who turn away from walking on the good roads [MET] that you have shown them! I wish that things will go well for [people in] Israel!

उन्हें, जो दुष्टता के मार्ग की ओर मुड़ जाते हैं, याहवेह उन्हें दुष्टों के साथ काट देंगे. इस्राएल राष्ट्र में शांति व्याप्‍त हो.
