Psalms 121

1 [When we travel toward Jerusalem], I look up toward the hills [and I ask myself], “Who will help me?”

Подижем очи своје ка горама; одакле ми долази помоћ?

2 [And my answer is] that Yahweh is the one who helps me; he is the one who made heaven and the earth.

Помоћ је мени од Господа, који је створио небо и земљу.

3 He will not allow us to fall/stumble; God, who protects us, will not fall asleep.

Неће дати да попузне нога твоја; не дремље чувар твој.

4 The one who protects us Israeli people never gets sleepy, nor does he sleep [LIT].

Гле, не дремље и не спава чувар Израиљев.

5 Yahweh watches over us; he is like the shade [MET] [that protects us from the sun].

Господ је чувар твој, Господ је сен твој, Он ти је с десне стране.

6 [He will not allow] the sun to harm us during the day, and [he will not allow] the moon to harm us during the night.

Дању те неће сунце убити ни месец ноћу.

7 Yahweh will protect us from being harmed in any manner; he will keep us safe.

Господ ће те сачувати од сваког зла, сачуваће душу твоју Господ.

8 He will protect us from the time that we leave [our houses in the morning] until we return [in the evening]; he will protect us now, and he will protect us forever.

Господ ће чувати улазак твој и излазак твој, одсад и довека.
