Psalms 121

1 [When we travel toward Jerusalem], I look up toward the hills [and I ask myself], “Who will help me?”

१मी आपली दृष्टी पर्वताकडे लावतो. मला मदत कोठून येईल?

2 [And my answer is] that Yahweh is the one who helps me; he is the one who made heaven and the earth.

२परमेश्वर जो आकाशाचा व पृथ्वीचा निर्माण करणारा त्याकडून माझी मदत येते.

3 He will not allow us to fall/stumble; God, who protects us, will not fall asleep.

३तो तुझा पाय घसरू देत नाही; जो तुझे संरक्षण करतो तो कधीही स्वस्थ झोपत नाही.

4 The one who protects us Israeli people never gets sleepy, nor does he sleep [LIT].

४पाहा, इस्राएलाचा रक्षणकर्ता कधीच झोपत नाही किंवा तो डुलकीही घेत नाही.

5 Yahweh watches over us; he is like the shade [MET] [that protects us from the sun].

५परमेश्वर तुझा रक्षणकर्ता आहे; परमेश्वर तुझ्या उजव्या हाताला सावली आहे.

6 [He will not allow] the sun to harm us during the day, and [he will not allow] the moon to harm us during the night.

६दिवसा तुला सूर्य किंवा रात्री चंद्र तुला नुकसान करणार नाही.

7 Yahweh will protect us from being harmed in any manner; he will keep us safe.

७परमेश्वर सर्व वाईटापासून तुझे रक्षण करील; तो तुझ्या जिवाचे रक्षण करील.

8 He will protect us from the time that we leave [our houses in the morning] until we return [in the evening]; he will protect us now, and he will protect us forever.

८परमेश्वर तुला; जे सर्व काही तू करशील, त्यामध्ये आता आणि सदासर्वकाळ रक्षण करील.
